Less_SpongeBob
As yet another possibly uneeded sequel to yet another young adult blockbuster, this movie's coming out in October. I can't say much about how this'll turn out, but I loved the books these were based on, reading the entirety of the trilogy. It's dark. Really dark. As for the first movie, I think it captured the book pretty well, and while it wasn't a-maze-ing (pun intended), it was well-acted and well-done visually, and I'll likely give it a watch. Clappy
The first Maze Runner was profitable and reviews were favorable. Of course it's going to get a sequel and spawn a franchise. Movie studios love it when teenage based fantasy/action/adventure films become successful because it means adapting more movies for cheap and making even more money. That's why we are getting more Divergent sequels. That's why we are getting more Maze Runner movies. That's why the last one will be split into two parts.
Katniss
Never saw the first Maze Runner film or read the books but I love how Dylan O'Brien from Teen Wolf and Kaya Scodelario from Skins are getting more exposure on the big screen.
