almy
Are you referring to the 2004 movie or Sponge Out Of Water? Either way, I liked them both a lot.

E.V.I.L.
It's so... childish. But in a good way. It's something that relieves my childhood memories but also makes me laugh quite a bit and it's an awesome showcase of the SB-Pat friendship.
So Sejima
For me everything was great, but the different animation looked smooth compared to the show at the time, so it was amazing. Plus Alec Baldwin turned around in the right direction after saying stuff like Sparkle Sparkle Sparkle as well.
WhoBibbles
The adventure, the songs, the moral and the death moment in the middle of the movie. Other stuff was great too.
Sweat
I think the animation is worth noting, too. The designs and coloring are just different from the TV stuff that preceded it in the best way possible.

The Drifter
The fact that it exist. Also how it opens way to the post movie, that leads to the creation of thousand of butthurt fans that provides me lots of entertainment.
Wumbo
Its scope. You rarely see very many worlds in SpongeBob outside of Bikini Bottom, and if so, it's only one, and only for an episode. But this movie gave us so many new interesting locations and so many new situations for SpongeBob and Patrick. It felt really big, and it's definitely what upgraded this into a worthy movie.
Cha
I think the impact of SpongeBob's feelings of only being seen as a goofy child, the journey in general; the action with the frogfish, the trench, Dennis and etc. And low key that scene where they're dying. But mostly SpongeBob's emotional struggles.

Jane
The epic scope of the plot and SpongeBob and Patrick's emotional arc of not being taken seriously as adults.
heburntmyshake
The Now That We're Men song. Such a catchy tune.
