Bernie is not a negotiator. He needs to be more realistic. If he says there is no middle ground, if he shouts into the microphone all the time, if he blasts too much criticism or makes the republicans look like villains, he will have a hard time in the Oval Office. He needs to stop acting like the country is entirely built out of democrats, because republicans and people who disagree with him also exist too. I'm a Democrat, but I also like to look things at a neutral and pragmatic perspective.
If republicans control congress, what is he going to do? Shut down the government? Attack them constantly? Refuse to work on bipartisan legislation? Let's be realistic here. He should stop treating people like villains and start showing more respect and decency. Even his behavior in the debates towards people like Delaney and Ryan were awful. Look at Joe who's polite, and then look at Bernie Sanders.
Joe Biden is a great negotiator. Not just domestically but internationally too. If republicans control congress, Bernie will find himself under his current stances that he won't accomplish any goals or promises without the ability to negotiate and compromise. And frankly, I think his comments have bruised the public view of him from those who are not progressive as he is.
He does not display the respect, dignity, politeness, and charisma of a president. I am sick of people like that who are not open to middle ground. Even Barack Obama agrees everyone should be open to finding middle ground. He doesn't want disputes that obstruct the government from serving the people, and I bet he strongly disliked the longest government shutdown caused by the current POTUS over a disagreement.
