      I honestly think the 80s and 90s in general, along with the 2000s (because I grew up listening to all three) were the best decades in music.

      You can't forget bands like The Beatles and The Eagles in the 1960's and 1970's, though. Without all THEIR influence, a lot of the music that HAPPENED after them probably couldn't and/or wouldn't have happened.
