It really took time for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to be such a strong show and I think the wait was totally worth it. I can't wait for Quake, I mean season 2.

It's so incredibly sad when Savitar, the main villain, is actually a better person than Flash in this entire 3rd season.

- Yeah, Season 3 has been pretty lackluster for me too. I think the first season of Flash still holds as the best of the show.
- And I definitely agree with you about the problems this latest episode had. I think this had to be the thousandth time we've been through the whole 'keeping secrets' thing again. It's getting pretty old. And the problems with the female characters is still very apparent. Caitlin and Iris have had little agency this season, and I'm still waiting for the show to pass the Betchdel Test in regards to those two.
- At this point, I think making Savitar Future Barry would just drag his character further, lol. But I could see them going in that direction - unless it turns out to be Future Wally???

there's one reason why I want Savitar to be Future Barry all because Future Barry realizes how he always screws things up because of Savitar, so Future Barry prisons himself in the speed force and he gets mad until he truly becomes Savitar and starts to plot his revenge on his old self. Therefore, it's future Barry that made old Barry miserable. I would honestly both love and hate if they pull off something like that. I hope that's the case. "I'm future, Flash" line can't be a coincidence. To end this on a lighthearted note, Supergirl musical crossover in 2 weeks. <3

finally Matt Reeves is gonna be back to directing The Batman movie. His Planet of the Apes movies are gold, so I have some high expectations from this. Lets just hope there won't be any problems at the screenwriting and set.

it's just sad when DC movies lose their directors. Seriously the future of DC movies looks so unfourtunate, except for Wonder Woman and Aquaman so far.

I honestly hope every single one of these movies are great and would love to be proven wrong.
That being said, I have no clue what in the nine hells is the problem with the DCEU. Is Warner Brothers overmeddling? Are they trying to rush the output way too fast? Do they know it's too late to win over the popular consensus since Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad were critically panned and word of mouth wasn't good?
Either way, this potentially has the chance to be the biggest missed opportunity of a franchise I've ever seen, even if it gets rebooted entirely and tries again five years from now or so. Once again, I seriously hope I'm wrong since I want this to be actual competition for Disney/Marvel.

I don't want DC to be an actual competiton for Marvel. That's one of the reasons why this whole universe is so rushed and so messy right now. DC wanted Marvel's success, yet they seems to forget what made MCU work in the first place. They took their time, unlike DC. I just want them to take time and make good movies without trying to catch up to Marvel.
