  2. Since this collab has already done so well, I've decided to change the deadline to September 9th.
  3. Okay, so for those who don't know what this is based on, let me give a brief explanation on a certain radio station called 91x. 91x, or XETRA-FM is a San Diego-based alternative music station. One thing that the station does every so often is play music in blocks, in which they take 3-5 songs from one artist and air them all consecutively. There's been a lot of discussion about 91x on the Discord server from Prez, and it's got me thinking that I should make a collaborative playlist based on this particular format. As for the rules for building the playlist, they are as follows: -Make your playlist through Spotify. -Pick 3 music acts with 3 songs for each corresponding artist; in other words, each playlist should have a total of 9 songs. -While 91x is alternative music-based, anything goes when it comes to your music artists and songs of choice, as long as they're available on Spotify. -No repeat songs/music artists, or joke entries. The current deadline for this playlist collab is currently at the end of September, on the 30th. on the 9th. If interested, be sure to post your Spotify playlist to this thread before the deadline. 4. Hey all. I've experienced some computer trouble earlier today, but just managed to get it to startup again through a different method. I'm in the process of fixing the problem with my computer, so depending on how it pans out, I might be offline for a while..

  5. My first initial thought seeing the title:
  6. The SpongeBob Community has been brought to you by the letter x.

  7. Basically McDonald's original Grimace's birthday Spotify playlist but the song selections are a lot more chaotic as it progresses. 300 songs in total with est. 18 hours. Anything goes when it comes to listening to this playlist, so you don't have to listen to it all in one sitting.
  8. Made this in less than 20 minutes. I had a lot of other contenders, but I've settled on these.
  9. Why this trope exists

The simplest explanation is that the woman is simply bigger than the other female characters, or simply older and thus more fully grown and developed, or both at once — unlike a flat-chested woman, who is more likely to come across as small, young and more delicate. In American Superhero comics, this is often touted as the reason the Most Common Superpower exists—to establish the difference between younger girls and older women (however, as the trope became more common, there has been less and less distinction between the body types.) In any case, her greater general size leads to both larger breasts as well as greater leverage and muscle mass (not that you'll often see much physical evidence of the latter—compare the biceps on the ladies in the trope image, for instance). If all of the female characters are physically active and she is the oldest, it can also be assumed she's been actively building strength and learning how to use it longer than her juniors have.

  12. -Streaming is my primary method of watching movies currently -Indoor theater if I have the time and money for them -DVDs if my local library system has them (and if any meddling kid or parent didn't scratch them) or if I happen to have them and feel like firing up my PS3 -I don't pirate. I don't care if it's mostly agreed to be 'morally ethical' now, I don't see a reason to do so when I see better options to watch without paying -Movies on cable TV are good if you're a cheapskate who also likes watching unskippable ads in-between.
  13. Just letting folks know that this isn't dead. I'll post the next 25 reveals by late June. The top 100 reveals (by which the thread will transition into 10 reveals per post) will start sometime in early July after I return from an anime convention I'm planning on going to during that time.
  14. Look at the stars Look at how they shine for you And everything you do...
  15. For those who haven't seen, I made my first "annual" top 10 animations of the year list back in 2016, covering my favorite animated works from the year 2015. Like most things, though, my first isn't the best, and after the years have all come and gone, I've come back to it with strong opinions towards that old list (I also feel the same with my old 2016 list so expect a new one for that year someday or someyear too). Granted, it was on 'limited options,' so most folks looking at it right now would be like "these choices aren't bad at all expect Good Dinosaur and Star S1," but now that I have broadened my experiences, I've been feeling like it was time for a revision for a while. My #1 wouldn't change, although looking at what will now be the old list, I would make new room for a lot of other stuff. Of course, not now, but soon. I also have my 2019 list to work on and write for (I'll even admit that I may already have my top 10 settled though I plan on watching a few other films/shows beforethen), but this will come first.
  16. My dad used to tell me I was lazy. I got dance moves like Patrick Swayze. I'm the left over turkey for the world's mayonnaisey.

  18. "Okay, you've convinced me. you can put your Crystal Pepsi display up your Crystal Pepsi ass."

  19. The main challenge is to listen to the full playlist. Plus, a bonus challenge in which you'll have to identify what each one was used in what specific commercial from the time period. Anyone who gets the most right (and you are allowed to use Google for all of them) answers sent to me (or is the first to send to me, depending on how this pans out) will be rewarded with a very early exclusive preview of a mashup for a new VeggieTales Behind the Wheel project.
  20. The long-awaited sequel to the first Puss in Boots film from 2011 and- oh wait, this already came out a few months ago. Anyways, lots of folks have been talking about how great this movie was. We even discussed it on the Discord server, but I didn't see a thread for it on here, so I might as well start. This is is an animated film that I do highly recommend, but I still feel iffed over some people putting this film on a pedestal like it's the "gold standard" for animated movies - representing what "they once were" and "what they should be," so I wouldn't hold my breath towards this being the start of a Dreamworks renaissance era like most others are saying it is.
  21. Dreamworks' newest feature film after the successful Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, releasing in a few months after having been in development hell for a while. Not gonna mince words here, i don't think this will do as well as its predecessor and as much as I wouldn't want to see this fail, at the very least, the internet grifters won't be able to use "BUT IT'S NOT WOKE DISNEY!!!" as an excuse to defend the film if it flops.
