Patrick-Man!
I choose Ghoul Fools, it has a great plot (and its a special! which has more to add) and great characters tht are very funny. Sometimes you do not need it to take place on or around Halloween for it to be a Halloween episode. if it gives you chills, is creepy, and scary maybe, then its a Halloween type episode. though scaredy pants is 2nd place. another classic episode
Buttered Toast
I say Scaredy Pants is better. Ghoul Fools may have had some good moments and was a half-hour special, but it was kinda dumb or boring at points, and the ending was a total slap in the face. Scaredy Pants wasn't as boring and actually had more funny moments.
jdfr03
Scaredy Pants is the original Halloween episode and I didn't expect a remake. Scaredy Pants is better.
MMM
Scaredy Pants < Ghoul Fools I know nostalgia counts, but it isn't everything. I chose GF for it's humor and creativity, while Scardey Pants is still an amazing episode.
crushingmayhem
Scaredy Pants had a much original feel to it, especially since Spongebob played a better role when dressed as the haunted mattress with the people later finding out that he had his brain exposed, that makes it a classic instantly. I felt the humor in Scaredy Pants had more creativity to it; I found Ghoul Fools' creativity to be kind of empty in comparison.
WhoBibbles
Scaredy Pants was a great Halloween episode but I prefer Ghoul Fools.
