Wumbo
Never mind that half of this stuff can be found in the classic era.
Metal Snake
Considering the fact that we live in a society where it's not surprising to see fairly young kids talking like sailors while playing first-person shooter games, I don't think a few gross-out gags in a children's show would have a devastating impact on their "innocent" minds. Wumbo
This whole thread reminds me of Helen Lovejoy.
CDCB
Some of the clips in the video weren't even gross at all, like the one from "The Slumber Party." Even so, SpongeBob may have increased in grossness over the years, but people seriously need to get over it. They won't change the show, so there's no use whining over it. At least nostalgiacs have 3 Seasons of the good episodes they enjoy, as well as a few post movie gems here and there. It may not be a full series of brilliance, but hey, you get what you get. And even Seasons 1-3 had some stinkers (Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy for instance), so it's not like they didn't make any bad ones when the show was in its "Golden Years." SpongeBob is who he is, and if he's gonna be gross, let the yellow guy be gross. If it weren't for him, we wouldn't have this forum.
