Look, I like Bruno Mars. 24K Magic is a fun album. But it's not Album of the Year material to me, especially when Lorde and Kendrick Lamar both had really solid albums.

Respectfully disagree about Section.80. Granted I don’t often seek it out, but that was my introduction to Kendrick back in early 2012 and I hold a bit of a soft spot for it (A.D.H.D. still holds up for example). Also I’m with Wumbo that I go back and listen to “u” often from TPAB too. I mean no disrespect for my opinion on DAMN. Like I said I still like it and if it’s my least favorite album of Kendrick’s so far, let that be a sign of how highly I think of him. But as you said above, I thought DAMN. was conceptually dense and wish everything tied together more cohesively. But hey, appreciate your insight as always Meatloaf Boy.

Missed the Golden Globes last night, but I saw the list of winners. I did not think “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” was that good of a movie, yet it was the biggest winner from last night. It’s going to be a long awards season if that’s the early front runner.
