2022

2022 is the thirteenth year. 2022 saw the endings of several long running SBC traditions such as Spin-Off Festival, Teams and iFish.

Timeline

January to March

Febracadabra!, a magic themed event, was held from February 11th to 27th, 2022. March Madness 2022 was held from March 1st to 31st, 2022, which the Krusty Krew won. It was announced afterwards that team events were coming to an end, with the final one coming in July.

April to June

The yearly April Fools prank was another Plankton themed takeover. Later in spring, cartoon series The Owl House became a hit with many members, acting as the community's new Gravity Falls. Alongside that, Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul also became popular with members of the community. Spin-Off Festival 11 lasted from May 27th to June 20th, 2022, which was the final Festival on the community. The 40th SWYAD, which was themed around Countries, was held from June 24th to July 1st, 2022.

July to September

The final teams event, Teams Mania was held from July 11th to July 31st, 2022, which was one of the most intense and active events on the site. In the end, the Chum Buddies narrowly came out victorious with 19 points. Late Night Lunacy was held from August 19th to 31st, 2022, which was a dreams themed event chosen by Loyal Customers.

October to December

Octerror Fest 2022 was held from October 14th to October 31st, 2022, which had a Candy Contest where every event would award users candy. The winning user with the most candy by the end of the month was Fa. The 16th Golden Community Awards were held, hosted by SOF. Throughout the month, a new moderator application was held due to Fred Rechid retiring from the position. HawkbitAlpha was chosen as the new moderator on November 11th, 2022. Katie also rejoined staff as a Fry Cook the same day. The 42nd SWYAD, which was themed around Food, was held from November 18th to 25th, 2022. Snowcember Ball 2022 began December 10th and concluded December 28th, 2022.
