124. Cameron Rhodes: Star Guardian

Cameron is seen walking through the World Between Worlds. He walks along a lane, with more portals on the sides. He looks lost, confused and tired.

“Well...this has been uneventful. The deer said I’d be fulfilling my destiny here, but I haven’t fulfilled anything yet. There’s nobody else here that can tamper with the world. And I don’t know how much time I have left in me...” Cameron rambled to himself.

He feels his stomach growling as well, showing signs of hunger and fatigue.

“That’s not good...” Cameron said, feeling worried.

Cameron then looks at the portals, seeing random events happening. One portal shows the Posidonia Fields outskirts, where King Randy is ordering construction of a new castle. Another portal shows villagers and beasts happily traveling through the Central Karmania forests. The next portal Cameron sees then shows the heroes on their way to Darlene’s house. Cameron looks at this happy for them, but also feeling regret he cannot be with the team again.

“...I miss them.” Cameron said sadly.

Suddenly, Cameron sees the white Karmanian Deer, standing in the middle of the lone pathway.

“You again...How are you here?” Cameron asked to the deer, on edge.

“...Rhodes. the deer spoke ominously again.

“What more do you want from me? I thought your goal was to get me here and destroy the Federation’s fuel supply?” Cameron asked.

The deer then runs down the pathway.

“Guess that’s my cue to follow...” Cameron said, as he chases after the deer, running down the pathway after it.

The deer keeps running, and Cameron keeps following behind. The deer then stops right at a specific portal, looking at it. Cameron slows down and looks at the portal. It shows the heroes exploring Vince, Mariette and Elana’s old house in Posidonia Fields.

“But...I just saw them. Is this the future?” Cameron asked the deer curiously, as both keep looking at the portal.

Meanwhile, in Posidonia Fields, the heroes head into Darlene’s house, meeting with her in the living room.

“You have a nice place.” Roxy said to her, looking around.

“Thanks. Glad you could make it. We have a situation. Okay, so here’s what happened. I sent one of my top employees to check on Elana’s old family house, which is now officially my property since nobody else was using that place anymore. I decided to purchase it for experimental reasons. Anyways...” Darlene was explaining, having a flashback.

The employee, wearing a letterman jacket, is seen walking right to the old house.

“Okay boss, I’m here now.” the employee said to Darlene through a phone.

The employee inspects the outside of the house, seeing a broken window.

“Yup, there’s probably been a break in.” the employee replied.

“Check out the damage. I’ll call you back in exactly thirty seconds.” Darlene spoke to her employee, ending the call for now.

The employee walks up the porch. The employee pulls out the house keys from their pocket and opens the door with them, as they enter inside. The employee then exits the old house, with a terrified expression on his face. Darlene then calls the employee, as they answer the phone.

“Hello?” Darlene asked to the employee through the phone.

The employee replies with a bunch of odd, stuttered gibberish, as they are unable to say anything further, ending Darlene’s flashback.

“And he’s been like this ever since.” Darlene said.

The employee walks into the room, spewing their gibberish, and still having the same terrified expression on their face.

“Poor guy.” Madison said.

“Something terrifying has taken residence at your friend Elana’s old house. And it’s not paying rent! So I want you all to find out what it is, and get it out.” Darlene explained to them.

“We will accomplish the mission.” Zero replied.

“You have one hour. Good luck everyone.” Darlene replied, as the heroes leave her house and head for the old house across from it.

“I wonder what it could be...” Trent pondered.

“Hopefully not more ghosts or demons, I've had enough of them for a lifetime after last week.” Roxy replied.

“I find it ironic and kind of sad Elana isn’t here for an exploration of her old home.” Nick said.

“Yeah, but that’s what happens when she’s busy ruling the largest kingdom of Karmania and that comes first. We were lucky she's joined us lately as much as she has.” Madison replied.

The heroes make it to the porch of the old house, looking at how worn down it is now.

“This place did not age well with time.” Tori said.

“It’s kind of sad how it’s abandoned now, it’s like part of my childhood friendship with Elana died.” Roxy said, sighing.

"Yeah...this was basically the last trace of her life in Posidonia. But compared to this dump, she's living it up in that amazing castle now." Cynthia thought.

The heroes carefully enter the old house, looking around at the dark foyer.

“Greetings, any supernatural beings from beyond lurking in here?” Nick asked, as his voice echoes around the empty house.

“Let me try. Hello, ghosts? If you’re in here, please leave my friend’s old home, thanks.” Cynthia asked kindly.

“I don’t think we’re dealing with ghosts or demons this time, but something supernatural lurks here...” Skipper said curiously, sensing around the house.

“That’s good, but also kind of bad because that means it could be something even worse than those two examples.” Nick replied, worried.

“Alright, how about we split up to cover more area. I elect Madison and Nick for my group.” Jake said.

“Sure.” Madison replied.

“I’ll go with Skipper and Zero.” Trent offered the two.

“I am okay with that.” Zero replied.

“And that leaves us four together.” Roxy said to Audrey, Cynthia and Tori.

The three groups split up, searching around the house for anything strange. Back in the World Between Worlds, Cameron and the white Karmanian Deer continue to look at the portal. Cameron sees the groups exploring the house.

“What’s so special about this area? It’s just Elana’s old house.” Cameron asked to the deer, as it looks at him.

A blue aura then glows off of the portal, indicating something is up with the area they are in.

“Do they need my help? Are they in danger?” Cameron asked the deer.

Cameron reaches his hand out at the portal, but the deer growls at him, telling him to stop.

“Okay, jeez. Sorry, I don’t speak your cryptic language.” Cameron replied to the deer.

The deer just sits and keeps watching the portal.

“I guess I have to wait for the right time then...” Cameron said, looking at the portal in intrigue.

Back in the house, Jake, Madison and Nick’s group enter the living room. They look around at the dusty furniture, bookshelves and television.

“Hmm, this dust sure looks suspicious...I don’t think it’s dusty enough. Definitely supernatural work at play here.” Nick said, inspecting the bookshelf dust. “Oh hey, I just realized I haven’t used my Detective Nick persona in a while, this would be the perfect time for that.”

Nick then puts on his detective hat and monocle.

“There we go, now I’m in character. Whatever mystery is awaiting in this house, mark my words, Detective Nick will crack the case!” Nick said determined, as he begins to ponder to himself, looking around at the room.

The three then hear voices coming from the other half of the living room, getting their attention.

“That doesn’t sound like any of the others...” Madison said, confused.

“There’s our first clue! Great work gang!” Nick said.

The three carefully walk into the room, staying careful. The three are surprised to see younger versions of Vince and Mariette holding a baby Elana, as they settle into the house.

“Here we are, our brand new home in this strange oceanic world!” the younger Vince said happily.

“You’ll be safe here...” Vince said to the baby Elana.

“What the...Vince and Mariette? But they’re supposed to be in Karmania...” Jake said, confused.

“I think we’re seeing something from the past, but why?” Madison wondered.

“Hmm...have we possibly traveled back in time? We haven’t had a time travel adventure yet on our obligatory checklist, so I’ll put that theory of Detective Nick’s on the table.” Nick said curiously, analyzing the scene.

“Time travel sounds like as good as of an explanation as any at this rate.” Jake replied, still confused.

Skipper, Trent and Zero head upstairs, looking around. They then enter Elana’s old room, and see a scene that surprises them. Past versions of Jake and Cynthia are in the room. The two are spying on Darlene’s house using Elana’s room, reenacting events from “Stakeout”.

“Uh...aren’t Jake and Cynthia downstairs?” Trent asked, confused.

Jake is watching Darlene’s house, and Cynthia is watching tv, when the doorbell rings.

"Uh...did you invite someone over?" Jake asked.

"That might be the pizza I ordered!" Cynthia said, as she gets up and runs downstairs, not interacting with Trent, Skipper or Zero.

"Wait, when did you order pizza?!" Jake asked to her.

Cynthia is seen opening the front door, as Randy the Pizza Delivery Guy answers the door.

"Here's your pizza ma'am," Randy said, as Cynthia pays him.

Cynthia and Randy then both disappear in a blue time aura, as does Jake up in the room. The group just stares in disbelief at what they witnessed.

“What just happened!?” Trent asked, still confused.

“Some dark magic is afoot here, and trust me, it’s not my doing this time...” Skipper promised.

“I remember now, that was from over a year ago, when Jake and Cynthia were sent to do a stakeout of Darlene’s house. But I do not know why we just witnessed this event. It’s almost as if there has been a time slip, although this is only speculation.” Zero said, hypothesizing.

“Not even I am brave enough to mess with the powers of time. Who knows what we’re about to get into...” Skipper replied, worried, as the three keep investigating the room.

Audrey, Tori, Cynthia and Roxy go into the house’s basement, as they shine flashlights around the dark area. The girls then see something that surprises them. Agents Roy and Dilks are in the basement recreating a scene from “Cold Case”, as the girls watch them from the shadows.

Roy looks at the body outline on the ground.

“This doesn’t look good, Agent Dilks.” Roy reported.

“What’s this?” Dilks asked, seeing the calculator on the ground.

“It’s evidence. Keep that contained.” Roy ordered, as Dilks put it in a plastic bag.

“A body outline and the only evidence is a calculator. It appears we might have a cold case, Agent Roy, as this calculator could belong to anybody in Posidonia...” Dilks said concerned.

The two walk upstairs, and then disappear into the same mysterious blue aura.

“What the heck were those two doing here?” Roxy asked.

“Wait a minute...that was when Thorn and Morgana tried to blame us for Elana’s disappearance, and then those two agents came to investigate her house.” Audrey recalled.

"...That explains why Thomson questioned me that day." Roxy recalled.

“Oh yeah, I remember that. But why did we see it again?” Cynthia asked.

“I don’t know, but a time travel misadventure isn’t something we’ve had yet, so I’m curious where this goes.” Tori said, as the girls carefully look around the basement for any other clues.

Back in the living room, Vince, Mariette and baby Elana all disappear into the same blue aura. Jake, Madison and Nick enter the room, looking around for any other signs of oddities.

“Where did they go?” Madison asked.

“Yup, I think I know what we’re dealing with. I believe this house is having cracks in time and showing us past events at random throughout its history.” Nick explained.

“Are you sure?” Jake asked.

“Just a lucky guess, but it sounds reasonable.” Nick replied, shrugging.

“If there are cracks in time, then there must be a source somewhere in the house causing them. Let’s find the others.” Madison said, as they begin to leave the living room.

Back at the World Between Worlds, Cameron keeps looking at the portal.

“Time anomalies, huh. Is that why you brought me to this portal? Am I supposed to fix the time problems? Time travel sort of brought me here in the first place.” Cameron said curiously to the deer.

Suddenly, the portal begins to glow blue. The deer’s eyes also glow blue.

“...Rhodes. Landers.” the deer spoke to Cameron, as the portal now shows Jake about to leave the living room.

“Do you want me to talk to him?” Cameron asked, as the deer nods.

Cameron then walks closer to the portal, and places his hand against it. The portal lets out a wave, and a mirror in the living room begins to glow the same blue color. Cameron is shown in the mirror, and sees Jake about to leave the room.

“Jake!” Cameron yelled from the mirror.

Jake hears this, and turns around in surprise. He sees Cameron and the deer through the mirror, as he is not sure how to respond.

“Jake, we’re headed this way.” Madison said from ahead.

“Go on, I’ll catch up.” Jake said to Madison and Nick, as they keep going.

Jake walks back to the mirror. He sees Cameron and the deer on the other side.

“The World Between Worlds...is this real? Or more weirdness from the house’s time tricks?” Jake asked.

“This is really me, Jake. I know time has broken in the house you’re in. For some reason, the deer brought me here to communicate with you.” Cameron explained to him.

“It’s been a while. How have you been in that place?” Jake asked to him, not sure how to talk.

“I could be better. Protecting this place hasn’t amounted to anything because there’s nothing to protect it from. But I’ve seen a lot of interesting events from the past, present and future from this place. You never know what destiny truly holds for you down the road. You all did a great job defeating the Federation once and for all, I saw it in action.” Cameron said to him.

“Thanks. By any chance, do you know how I can fix whatever this time issue is?” Jake asked.

The deer then gets Cameron’s attention, pointing to another portal nearby. Cameron then looks at the portal, and is surprised by what he sees. It has shown him the solution to the time anomalies in Elana’s house.

“...Time has broken, much like clocks do. Fixing time is just like fixing a broken clock.” Cameron said cryptically to Jake.

“What does that mean?” Jake asked.

“You can figure it out on your own. I trust you can by now.” Cameron replied to him.

“Alright, I’m sure we’ll think of something. Thanks Cameron. It was good talking to you again. I’m glad you’re okay...and I hope we can reunite again in person someday.” Jake replied to him contently.

“I’m proud of you, Jake. I hope I can leave this place too, whenever that time may come. Farewell, and good luck on your endeavors. I’ll be okay, don’t worry about me. I promise.” Cameron replied to him.

Cameron then fades away from the mirror, as Jake loses contact with him again. Jake accepts this and catches back up with Madison and Nick, as he thinks about what Cameron told him. Cameron looks at this, and walks away from the portal. Suddenly, a strange, cosmic gargoyle creature appears before Cameron, startling both him and the deer. The creature has a cosmic space across his entire body. He is also wrinkly and old, as if he is dying.

“...Who and what are you? I thought nobody else inhabited this dimension?” Cameron asked, looking at the creature in curiosity.

“No time to explain. We have to leave. Now.” the creature explained mysteriously to Cameron, as the creature then shoots several lasers from his body, which create an inter-dimensional portal.

The white deer growls angrily at the creature.

“Well my friend doesn’t like you, and I trust his judgment, so I’m going to have to pass-” Cameron was saying.

However, the creature then grabs Cameron and takes him through the portal, as they travel through a cosmic sci-fi tunnel path. The deer jumps in after before it closes.

Back at Elana’s house, the three groups regroup in the foyer.

“Let me guess, you guys also saw weird time ghosts?” Madison asked.

“You bet. We saw Jake and Cynthia on their stakeout, and when Cynthia ordered pizza.” Trent replied.

“Oh wow, I’m surprised the house remembered that.” Cynthia replied, and then feels embarrassed remembering how awkward the scenario with Jake was.

“And we saw those two agents, from when Thorn and Morgana tried to frame us for Elana’s disappearance.” Tori explained.

“Do we have any idea how to stop these time glitches?” Roxy asked.

“I have some form of an idea, but I need to figure out what it exactly means...” Jake said, pondering to himself.

“Detective Nick also is pondering a solution.” Nick added, pondering.

Audrey then listens and hears voices coming from another room on the ground floor. The heroes follow her into the room, where a time anomaly shows the girls spying on Zero and Darlene’s date from “Zero Memory”. They are all looking through the window at Darlene’s house.

“Oh right, this was when we spied on Zero and Darlene’s date.” Cynthia remembered, making Zero uncomfortable.

“...You what?” Zero asked.

“Uhh...long story.” Madison replied.

Tori and the girls look through the binoculars at Darlene’s house.

"This feels kind of weird." Audrey said.

"Yeah, I don't know if watching their dating progress is important when Trent is in danger..." Madison said, concerned.

"Relax, maybe we need this to get him off our minds." Tori was saying.

The girls then disappear into the same blue aura.

“What was that about me?” Trent asked, confused.

“That was when the White Knight was controlling you and you beat up Bryan. Hard to believe that was all a year ago...” Madison explained, realizing how much time has passed.

"Dang, I can't believe it either, especially since it felt like I was trapped in that stone forever." Trent replied.

More noise is heard, as the heroes head into the kitchen. This time, an old family from centuries ago is shown having a nice dinner. They are wearing fancy clothes from a different time period, as they happily eat their food and laugh. The entire dining room looks different to match the era too.

“This must have been one of the first families to own the home.” Zero said curiously.

Jake then looks at a grandfather clock in the dining room, as he thinks about what Cameron said again. Suddenly, the old family all disappears into the blue time aura, and the room turns back to normal. Audrey then hears something moving upstairs.

“I heard something go upstairs...” Audrey said curiously.

Jake quickly runs toward the stairs, as he sees a strange figure with the same blue aura walking up them.

Meanwhile, Cameron looks around at the sci-fi tunnel in awe and curiosity, but also skepticism and suspicion of what awaits ahead.

“Okay, now that you have me as your hostage, what do you want?” Cameron asked the creature.

“My apologies for the abruptness, but time is of the essence. I need to take you somewhere of great importance, oh wise star guardian.” the creature said ominously to Cameron.

“Star guardian?” Cameron asked, confused.

“Yes...I’ve been watching you, Cameron Rhodes. I know all about your adventures as a Karmanian Knight, make no mistake. Now you have ascended to becoming a star guardian of these dimensions. I can help increase your powers, if you help me in return. Also, call me Atlas. We’ll be arriving at my home dimension momentarily, and don’t worry, you can breathe there.” Atlas introduced.

“I don’t know if I should trust a random creature I met in a dimension where nobody else inhabits, and has apparently been stalking me...” Cameron said, still suspicious of Atlas.

“Well, I suppose actions will speak louder than words. I know this looks suspicious, but after I explain, you'll see why I'm in a hurry. We’re coming to the end, hang on!” Atlas said happily, chuckling, but Cameron is not amused.

Atlas and Cameron both exit the portal, as they arrive in a new dimension. It is a cosmic planet looking just like Atlas’ body, as many gargoyle creatures looking like Atlas roam around the city.

“Welcome to my lovely home of Atlaxia!” Atlas introduced.

“Not a bad home. The sci-fi vibe is nice. But I still don't know what's going on.” Cameron said.

He looks up at the cosmic sky, and sees a black hole in it.

“Long ago, I unlocked an ancient temple on this planet, which contained a gateway to infinite worlds and told me of powerful star guardians who protected it. I left this beautiful world to find other star guardians using the World Between Worlds and grant them my people’s great power. But now I’m dying.” Atlas explained abruptly, falling over, and coughing.

“Oh...” Cameron replied, trying to help him up.

“I used the last of my strength to bring you to my home...” Atlas said weakly, coughing again.

The white deer sees the two walk into the city. It looks at Atlas with anger, still growling at him. Cameron helps Atlas walk through the city, as the other gargoyle creatures look at the two shocked.

“He’s here!” one of them said.

“Wow, it’s really Cameron...” some of the other creatures whispered, as Cameron overhears them while walking through the cosmic street.

“Your friends sure know about me.” Cameron said to Atlas.

“You are worshipped like a god to my people. You see Cameron Rhodes, you were destined to meet me. This is your ultimate destiny...” Atlas said ominously, as Cameron isn’t sure what to think.

“Not what I had in mind for my “ultimate destiny”, especially after everything the deer put me through.” Cameron replied.

Atlas then stops in front of a museum, called the “Cameronseum”.

“Behold, the Cameronseum!” Atlas said, escorting Cameron inside.

He looks around, as many of Atlas’ people are taking photos of Cameron’s greatest accomplishments on display inside. The room has statues and paintings depicting past heroic deeds of Cameron’s. These show Cameron obtaining the blue knight stone, Cameron defeating Drew, Cameron defeating Rorrim, Cameron and Skipper working together against the ice centipede, Cameron training Elana, and Cameron standing on top of the exploding fuel pod.

“These are all feeling like distant memories. You’ve been watching them?” Cameron asked curiously.

“When you have access to the World Between Worlds, you can see anything! I knew you were the chosen one, that would save my people...” Atlas said ominously.

“Save you from what?” Cameron asked.

“Atluthu, a great evil!” Atlas revealed, as many of the gargoyle creatures gasp in fear upon hearing that name.

Atlas shows Cameron a painting of his ultimate destiny, where he is shown slaying the beast Atluthu, which looks like a cosmic octopus.

“...That’s my destiny? To slay a random beast?” Cameron asked, unsure what to think.

“Yes, and Atluthu is going to strike at any moment! Sorry for the short notice, but do not panic. My people have prepared a weapon to slay it, and only you can control it! Hurry, time is running low!” Atlas explained, running outside.

The people scream, as several tentacles belonging to Atluthu are seen looming over the city. Cameron follows him outside, and sees a big, purple machine is set up.

“Quickly, you must go inside and control it! And wear this!” Atlas said, putting a headband around Cameron, and opening the machine for him.

Cameron still feels unsure, but goes inside of the machine. It hooks up to him, and begins to drain his energy. Atlas wears a similar headband, which begins to absorb Cameron’s energy. The knight stone on him glows, and the machine absorbs the energy from it. Cameron yells in pain as he gets electrocuted by the machine. His power makes the machine shoot out laser beams from it, hitting Atluthu’s tentacles.

“You’re doing it, Cameron! Great job! Keep it up!” Atlas said happily, as he begins to look fresh again thanks to the energy.

Cameron keeps yelling from inside the machine, as it keeps hurting him. The white deer hears this and runs toward him, avoiding Atluthu’s other tentacles. More laser blasts are shot at the tentacles from the machine, destroying them.

“I can’t keep doing this!” Cameron yelled, being pushed to the limit by the machine.

The white deer then jumps at the machine, busting it open, and freeing Cameron. It malfunctions and sends one final shot at Atluthu’s last tentacle, sending the creature fleeing. The people cheer.

“You did it, Atluthu is defeated!” Atlas said happily.

The energy the machine grabbed from Cameron is then transferred into Atlas’ body, as it makes him look fresh again, getting rid of his old and wrinkly appearance. Cameron falls to the ground weak, looking wrinkly, old and dying like Atlas did now.

“That deer sure likes following you wherever you go.” Atlas said, impressed by it.

The deer growls at him again, making Atlas nervous. The deer walks over to Cameron, trying to help him up.

“Where...did Atluthu go?” Cameron asked, coughing.

Atlas looks at Cameron and feels slightly bad for him.

“Actually...I have a confession to make. There is no Atluthu. That was me, using my magic powers to make it appear. In fact, this whole planet is fake. All these people, the museum, they were all me.” Atlas said, revealing he can stretch lifeforms out of his cosmic body.

“Then that means you weren’t really dying...you’re a liar, I knew it.” Cameron said, struggling to get up and about to attack Atlas.

“Oh no, I was dying, that part was true. I needed to siphon your precious knight powers to keep me fresh and strong! I used these headbands as a conduit. The more you charged up that machine, the stronger I grow! I’ve done this hundreds of times to many saps across the dimensions! But...I never felt bad about it before. Maybe it’s because you’re cooler than the others, and you’re a knight, so there’s that too.” Atlas explained to Cameron.

Cameron tries to press his knight stone and attack, but the color from it has been drained by Atlas, who laughs.

“Darn, I was hoping we could be friends...” Atlas sighed.

“After you tried to kill me? You’re a fraud!” Cameron said, coughing.

“Indeed I am, but a charming one! And you've got no juice to fight me with!” Atlas replied, laughing.

Cameron falls to the ground, unable to fight, and about to die. The deer looks at this worried, and tries to help Cameron up.

Back at Elana’s house, the heroes keep following the odd figure. They see it climb up a ladder to the attic.

“There it goes.” Jake said.

“You guys ready to face this thing?” Madison asked the heroes.

They then hear a ticking noise from the attic.

“Wait, that ticking sound is familiar...” Jake said, and thinking of what Cameron told him earlier.

The heroes all climb up the ladder, going into the antic. They see the odd figure is covered in the same blue time aura. The time anomaly energy fades away from the figure, revealing Clock Snail is under it, who was one of Professor Dalton’s mutant animals in “Reboot”. Clock Snail looks upset, as the clock in its shell is left open, with several broken gears inside of it.

“Wait, isn’t that Clock Snail, one of Professor Dalton’s mutant creations?” Audrey recalled.

“It is. It appears Clock Snail was responsible for all of the time anomalies throughout the house.” Zero explained, reading his scanners.

“That explains that.” Tori said.

“There’s us from before.” Madison said, seeing versions of the guardians and knights from moments ago about to enter the room, who disappear into the blue time aura.

“Meow...” Clock Snail said sadly, in pain.

“Are you sick?” Jake asked.

“Yeah, I’m pretty disgusted with this whole situation.” Cynthia said, annoyed.

“Meow...” Clock Snail groaned again, as it falls over.

The heroes then see the tuner on its back has stopped. Jake then grabs it and spins it back up. The heroes help pick Clock Snail up, as its clock repairs itself on the inside. Roxy looks into its mind with her animal powers, trying to calm the snail. It then lets out the blue time anomaly aura, which begins to reabsorb all of the time anomaly events and characters back inside of his clock.

“He’s sucking up all of the spilled time!” Madison said.

“That doesn’t sound scientific!” Cynthia replied.

“Sounds good enough for me!” Zero reassured.

All of the time streams finish going back into Clock Snail, as its clock shell is sealed shut again. The house has gone back to normal, as the heroes escort Clock Snail outside.

“Happy trails!” Roxy said to Clock Snail, as it goes on its way down the sidewalk.

“We have the situation handled, Darlene. It turns out a mutant snail was causing a bunch of time anomalies, there was no actual haunting.” Zero explained to her through his phone.

"Welp, another mystery successfully solved by Detective Nick...even though I actually didn't do anything now that I think about it." Nick said sadly.

“Okay then, that’s settled. But there’s still Cameron. If he says he’s okay, I guess he is. No need to worry...” Jake said confused, thinking about his message to him.

Back in Atlas’ dimension, Cameron is on the verge of death, as the deer looks at him with its blue eyes.

“You will die out here. Nobody will come to save you now, knight!” Atlas said, laughing evilly, as Cameron feels weak and is unable to get up.

...

Cameron wakes up in a white void. He stands up and looks around confused. Suddenly...Wes appears in the void, walking toward Cameron. Cameron looks at him carefully, making sure he’s seeing this right.

“...Dad, is that really you? Or is this a hallucination?” Cameron asked.

“Hey son. Yup, it’s me. All me.” Wes said, approaching him.

“Oh...does this mean I’m...” Cameron was asking, wondering if he had died.

“Sort of. But you’re not gone yet. I’ve been keeping a close eye on you through my friend here.” Wes said, as the white Karmanian Deer also appears in the void.

“...That deer was you the whole time? But how?” Cameron asked, befuddled, as he stares at the white Karmanian Deer, and sees Wes’ eyes in it.

“You also had your will live on through the magic of Karmania, through the deer “Rhodes”.” Wes said, as a flashback shows Jake speaking to the Rhodes deer in his dream in “Cameron Rhodes: Karmanian Knight”.

“That’s right, even though I wasn’t aware. I knew there was something familiar about that deer, but I couldn’t figure out what...” Cameron said.

“The deer acted as a spiritual animal guide. It was your destiny to end the Federation, come to the World Between Worlds, meet me here and defeat that threat to every dimension Atlas. He knew you were guarding the worlds and wanted to get rid of you so he could rule all of time and space. You can still defeat that coward. Believe in yourself, and you’ll get your strength back.” Wes said to him.

”I will. Thank you.” Cameron replied.

Son...I’m so proud of you. Your mom would be too. You know, for so long I was worried I thought I’d never have the chance to see the man you’d grew up to be. But now I know, he’s better than I could’ve ever hoped. Goodbye, son.” Wes said, saluting to Cameron.

“Bye, dad...” Cameron replied.

He then wakes up, noticing the white deer is gone, while Atlas keeps laughing. Cameron then runs toward him, and hugs Atlas.

“...I’m confused.” Atlas replied.

“Don’t worry, it’s just that whenever someone tries to put me down...I only get stronger.” Cameron said smugly.

Cameron then switches the headbands, catching Atlas off guard. Cameron gets his strength back, while Atlas looks weak and old again. Cameron’s knight stone glows a cosmic blue, surprising him. He presses it, as his armor looks cosmic blue now.

“Whoa, I like this.” Cameron said, as the deer nods at him contently.

“Nooo! How did I not see the ol’ switcheroo coming!?” Atlas asked, coughing.

“I learned from both my parents that compassion can be used to catch your enemy off guard when they least expect it.” Cameron explained, as he sends a cosmic blue slash from his sword, knocking Atlas to the ground. “That was for them, and all of my team back home.”

His armor begins to show cosmic images of the guardians, knights, Wes and his mother. However, Atlas realizes something from these images.

“...Wait, your mother? That means you still have existing blood lineage I can drain, yes! You’ve saved me after all, and I'll have my revenge!” Atlas bragged, as Cameron is shocked by this.

Atlas runs off, as he begins to reabsorb everything from the area inside of his body, including the buildings and people he impersonated, leaving nothing behind. Atlas tries to create another portal, but he is still too weak.

“Dangit, out of juice! But luckily I have a backup plan!” Atlas said, as he then runs into a small rocket ship, and it begins to fly off the now barren planet. "See ya later! Once I drain your mom, I'll drain your friends too!"

“Oh no you don’t! Leave my mother and friends alone!” Cameron yelled selflessly to Atlas.

Cameron then sends a cosmic blue slash from his sword, forming an arm that grabs onto Atlas’ rocket. He begins to move it toward the black hole, making Atlas panic.

“You fool, if you destroy me, you’ll be trapped here forever! I’m your only way out!” Atlas tried to bargain to Cameron, as he holds onto Atlas.

“My mother and team are worth it!” Cameron yelled determined, accepting the potential sacrifice.

He lets go of Atlas into the sky, as the black hole begins to absorb him.

“NOOOOO! Not the singularity, I just wanted to live forever!” Atlas yelled, panicking.

Atlas then stares into the black hole, as it reflects off of his eyes.

“I see now...this form has taken me as far as it can go. I’m going to 4D baby...YAHOO!” Atlas said happily, accepting his death, as he is absorbed into the black hole, killing him.

Cameron looks up at this, content he has fulfilled his destiny at long last. However, he is now stranded in Atlas’ dimension with no way out.

“Deer, or dad, whoever, now would be a good time to come back...” Cameron called out, but gets no response.

Cameron then sits on the barren ground, having nowhere to go and nothing to do.

“Great, and I still don’t have anything to eat...“ Cameron said, stranded.

Notes/Trivia:

-Character Debut + Death: Atlas

-Area Debuts: “Atlaxia”

-The Clock Snail was one of Dalton’s mutants from “Reboot”, which escaped from the submarine crash and fled to Elana’s old house.

-The statues in Atlas’ room depict events related to Cameron from past chapters: Cameron getting the blue knight stone (“Secrets”), Cameron fighting Drew (“Friend), Cameron defeating Rorrim (“Mirror Mirror”), Cameron and Skipper fighting the ice centipede (“Enemy Mine”), Cameron training Elana (“Knight to Queen”) and Cameron standing on top of the fuel pod (“Cameron Rhodes: Karmanian Knight”).

-The time anomalies in Elana’s house show scenes from the following past chapters: “Stakeout”, “Cold Case” and “Zero Memory”.

-

It is revealed that Wes’ will lived on through the white Karmanian Deer, meaning the deer was technically him and why it was so attached to Cameron.

That was the last one of the year. Only six chapters remain overall.

AWESOME chapter to end the year out. I was just thinking not too long ago that I wanted MG to do something fun with time travel, so this episode came just in... well, time! I thought the whole thing with the clock snail being broken was very sad, and I was happy to see the scene of the gang fixing it and solving the anomalies. It was fun to get a look back at previous episodes/scenes, the benefit of doing a  time shenanigan episode of a show after so many seasons worth of material. Reminded me of doing the same with TS in it's last season. I felt bad for Cameron getting tricked like that with Atlas, but at least out of this he discovered that his dad was basically the white deer the whole time. Now, he's stuck in that barren dimension/world thanks to Atlas, but I'm confident within the final episodes we'll see this plot fold into the other stories and Cam will hopefully be rescued.

Another tidbit, I thought Atlas could have made for an interesting season-long enemy if there was another season. His powers seemed pretty OP lol.

All in all, a wonderful end to 2018 with MG. I look forward to (and mourn) the last batch in 2019.

It's been a decade since I began writing spin-offs, so here's a throwback to a simpler time.

125. Bananamelons

One day, the guardians and knights are seen exploring around the Central Karmania village near the royal castle.

“Wow, it’s a beautiful day out! That makes me have a great feeling about today! And hopefully I didn’t jinx anything!” Nick said, looking at the shining sun.

Jake seems upset however, thinking about his talk with Cameron in the previous chapter.

“It’s been four weeks now, and Cameron still hasn’t tried to contact me again. I hope he’s okay…” Jake said, worried about him.

“I’m sure he’s fine…wherever he is. He literally survived an exploding fuel pod, so I think he’ll make it through.” Trent reassured to Jake.

“That’s what I want to believe, but you never know what’s happening to him wherever he is…” Jake replied, feeling unsure.

“I still find it weird but cool that you were able to talk to him through a mirror. Time-space shenanigans are far out.” Tori replied.

“Jake’s description was intriguing. The time anomalies must have allowed Cameron to break through the dimension and speak to you. Well, that’s just the working theory anyways, I truthfully can’t even give a concrete explanation.” Zero explained, shrugging.

“Just relax, Jake. I’m a go with the flow guy myself, and I’ve found that mantra of mine always works out in some way or form. Sometimes…you gotta let destiny guide you to your destination.” Skipper explained to Jake.

“He’s right, you can’t keep worrying about Cameron forever.” Audrey said to Jake, trying to cheer him up.

“I know how it feels to worry about someone after seeing them again when you thought they were gone. But you have to have hope, and you even taught me not too long ago to learn to balance it out.” Madison said to Jake, thinking about Madectrison.

“You’re right, I need to stop worrying constantly. Cameron wouldn’t have wanted this.” Jake replied, trying to get it off his mind.

The heroes walk further into the village, as Meritel and Elana walk forward, surprising them. Meritel sounds a drill horn, startling the heroes and villagers.

“Okay, that was loud…” Roxy said, feeling her ears.

“You two, raise your shields!” Meritel ordered to two random villagers.

“Uh, yes ma’am!” one of them said worried, raising their test shields.

“You lot, raise your weapons! You must always be ready to attack any enemies!” Meritel ordered to another group, who hold up their test clubs.

She then walks to a store’s window, and smashes it apart with a club.

“This is what happens when you aren’t protected. Enemies could break into your homes and steal everything!” Meritel explained to the villagers.

“Oh no, not my home!” a villager panicked.

“Guards, raise the kingdom shield.” Meritel ordered to one.

A guard nearby activates a device, which makes a magical gold barrier rise around the entire kingdom.

“Hmm…it did not raise fast enough, that will be no good. Professor, you may need to adjust your defense technology. We need to be as prepared as possible and cannot afford a second of delay.” Meritel said, feeling worried.

“I will try soon, but I cannot promise I can make the shield rise any faster.” Zero replied, sighing.

“Mom…are all of these drills really necessary?” Elana asked her, feeling skeptic on her methods.

“Sorry dear, but I have to make sure the kingdom is ready for any attacks by my brother. We can never let our guard down. As queen, it is your duty to protect the kingdom, and it is my duty to make sure you are safe as well.” Meritel explained.

The heroes overhear this, and sadly realize that conflict is inevitable. They decide to talk away from Meritel, thinking she's overstepping her bounds.

“It never hurts to be prepared, but I think she’s overdoing it…” Cynthia said.

“Unfortunately, she doesn’t have much of a choice given her position. I wish there was another way for her to make amends with my uncle, he is still family...” Elana replied, upset and not wanting anymore conflict.

"I can understand her being on edge given he almost turned her into a monster." Tori noted.

"Yeah, that doesn't sound like something that can be amended with a simple apology." Audrey said.

"Gideon's been able to make artificial monsters like a mad scientist, who knows what else he's capable of." Trent wondered, as Meritel approaches and they immediately stop talking.

“While you are all here, I have a favor to ask, guardians and knights. I need at least one of you to obtain a golden Bananamelon from the kingdom Luncheon. They’re very rare to find nowadays, but they can be used to make a magical bomb. This would be useful in our arsenal.” Meritel explained to them.

“A Bananamelon…how curious. Is it like both a banana and watermelon fused together or something?” Nick asked curiously.

“I will go there. I am very familiar with Luncheon.” Skipper said.

“Do you want anyone else to go with you? You could use help in finding it.” Elana replied.

“Hmm…perhaps this could get Rhodes’ whereabout off your mind, Landers.” Skipper offered to Jake.

Jake thinks it over.

“Yeah, sure. I’ll go with you. I’ve never had a bonding adventure with you anyways, so this could be fun. And you’re right, this will help clear my mind.” Jake replied.

“Have fun you two.” Madison said, opening a portal to Luncheon for them.

“We will try to back as soon as possible in a timely manner.” Skipper replied, as him and Jake enter the portal.

“Alright, so what should the rest of us do?” Cynthia asked, bored.

“You could help me and my mom check the rest of the kingdom’s borders to test our security. Also, we could fit in some training since I still need to get adjusted to this new sword.” Elana said, holding out the Shadow Sword.

“Sure.” Audrey replied.

"I could use a bit of practice too, especially for my next inevitable encounter with Madectrison." Madison agreed, as they head off.

Meanwhile, Jake and Skipper exit the portal, as it takes them to a Luncheon village. Many Karmanian chefs are cooking food in cauldrons outside their tropical homes. Many food related decorations are seen growing and hanging around the area.

“This place looks nice, shame we didn’t come here more times.” Jake said, looking around at the scenery.

“Yeah, we would’ve really liked to explore these obscure kingdoms more. But we…ran out of time.” Skipper said awkwardly, pausing.

The two then continue through the village, when the king of Luncheon walks before them, who looks like a pineapple. He is escorted by two guards wearing pineapple hats.

“Welcome to Luncheon, honorable knights of Karmania! I am King Pineaton! What brings you to my tasty kingdom?” King Pineaton asked.

“Greetings, King Pineaton. We are here to find a rare fruit for Queen Elana, a “golden Bananamelon”.” Jake explained to him.

“Ah yes, those are quite valuable. You can find those deep in the Fruity Jungle over yonder.” King Pineaton replied, pointing his staff towards the jungle nearby the village.

“Thank you for your kind patronage.” Skipper replied.

Before Jake and Skipper head out however, suddenly, a bunch of bananas are shot into the area. The civilians begin to panic, and the chefs stop making their food in fear.

“What’s going on?” Jake asked, confused, as bananas keep shooting in the area, while him and Skipper try to avoid them.

“OH NO! IT’S THE BANANA BURGLAR!” the civilians yelled in panic.

“Who?” Jake and Skipper asked.

The Banana Burglar appears, dancing and continuing to shoot bananas everywhere from his body. He is a banana wearing a robber mask across his face.

“NYEH NYEH NYEH! Yes, it is I fools, the Banana Burglar! Give me all your good food or I’ll keep shooting bananas at you all!” Banana Burglar threatened.

“Not unless we have anything to say about it fiend, which we do!” Skipper yelled, as him and Jake walk forward.

“What??? Who are you two bozos!?” Banana Burglar asked, shooting bananas at both.

Jake and Skipper then press their knight stones, transforming them. They quickly slice apart the bananas with their swords. The Banana Burglar looks at the two terrified.

“OH NO, K-K-KNIGHTS!? I’m out of here!” Banana Burglar yelled, panicking.

He then makes a run for it, running to the Fruity Jungle ahead. The civilians and King Pineaton cheer, seeing the Banana Burglar has been sent running.

“Looks like our friend is heading right to where we wanted to go anyways, how thoughtful of him.” Skipper said, ready to give chase.

“A classic chase the bad guy of the week adventure? Sure, why not. Apprehending a random bad guy would help clear my mind.” Jake said, shrugging.

“We’ll capture him, highness.” Skipper promised King Pineaton.

“Thank you two so much! He has been a nuisance lately and giving my kingdom nothing but trouble! Please catch that menace!” King Pineaton replied.

“We’ll do our best.” Jake replied.

Jake and Skipper run off to the Fruity Jungle, as the civilians, chefs and King Pineaton cheer for them from the distance. The two begin to search around for either the golden Bananamelon or the Banana Burglar. Jake and Skipper look at all of the fruits hanging off trees.

“This is a large jungle. Where do we even begin to look?” Jake wondered.

“I cannot normally track our enemy since he is not using dark magic, but there is an item that can help us find both…” Skipper said, as he pulls out a weird spooky amulet from his pocket, with a demonic eye in the center.

“What’s that?” Jake asked.

“It’s my Cursed Wishing Amulet. I can make a wish to it, and it will help guide us to what we seek. I’ve used this to find many ancient artifacts throughout the years. Sadly, this amulet also has a side affect of taking a few years off my lifespan every time I use it, but that’s okay, a small price to pay for progress!” Skipper explained morbidly.

He makes two wishes to the amulet, wishing for a sign to let them find the Bananamelon and Banana Burglar. The amulet’s demonic eye then lights up, as it absorbs two bits of Skipper’s soul from his body. He shudders, but returns to normal.

“I’m used to that by now. Now then, this will be our guide throughout this delicious jungle.” Skipper said, as the amulet glows, pointing to the west direction.

“It must take a strong will to use those creepy dark magic artifacts.” Jake said, impressed.

“Indeed it does, but to me, their side effects are like small pinches now. A nice bite of food always boosts me up, and we’re in the perfect place for that! My food summoning spells all link to this kingdom.” Skipper explained.

“This kingdom is the source of your food powers? You know, I was always wondering deep down how you made food appear for your attacks.” Jake asked.

“Yes, Luncheon has so much food ripe for the taking, that any magical attack focused on food will grab it from the fresh food areas throughout the kingdom. Watch.” Skipper explained.

A lake of pies is shown nearby. Skipper concentrates and summons one of the pies, forming it in his hand, taking it away from the lake.

“That’s cool.” Jake replied.

Skipper then summons another pie, handing it to Jake, who eats it.

“Thanks. Wait, can’t you use that spell to summon the Bananamelon?” Jake asked.

“I wish, but alas, it has to be a food I’ve seen before, and I’ve never actually seen one before. But that will change today, and then I can summon as many Bananamelons for me…I mean, the army. Now, let us find that criminal and treasure!” Skipper replied eagerly.

Skipper then follows the amulet’s directions, as the two keep going through the jungles. It then leads them to a clearing, where the Banana Burglar is seen resting.

“Whew, this should be a good spot. They’ll never find me here…” Banana Burglar said.

“You sure?” Jake asked smugly.

Banana Burglar panics, and turns around, startled to see both.

“What?! How did you find me so quickly!? Curse you two stupid knights! EAT BANANAS!” Banana Burglar yelled, shooting more bananas at both.

Both knights slice apart the banana projectiles and avoid them. Jake makes his stone form the red shield, blocking some. He then slashes his sword right at Banana Burglar, who cowardly tries to run away from the attack. Skipper then sends a dark electricity blast at Banana Burglar, knocking him over. Banana Burglar quickly bounces back up and tries to shoot bananas from his hand, but Jake shoots red glue from his stone, making it stick to Banana Burglar’s right hand. He is now unable to shoot bananas from that hand.

“Baaaah, get it off of me!” Banana Burglar panicked, trying to get the red glue off, to no avail.

Jake and Skipper then both punch him, as he falls to the ground again.

“Oww, you guys are jerks! I’m at an unfair disadvantage, you have all those cool magic powers! If only I had those to help steal the food!” Banana Burglar cried.

“This is sad.” Jake said.

“Haha, you fell for my sobbing! Distraction!” Banana Burglar yelled, as he then shoots more bananas from his left hand.

He barely avoids both of Jake and Skipper’s attacks, and quickly flees again through the jungles.

“Dang bananas…” Jake said, annoyed.

“He is a sneaky one, but he will not escape the eye of us!” Skipper said determined.

Jake and Skipper give chase, and lose his trail. Skipper looks at his amulet again for directions, and it points to a new path. The two go down an old part of the jungle. At the end of the path, they come across an abandoned building covered in overgrowth. It has a damaged sign across the top reading “Luncheon Publishing”. Skipper’s amulet keeps glowing, pointing to the building for some reason.

“Did he really get ahead of us and flee inside of there? That’s hard to believe…” Jake said in disbelief.

“Hmm…I believe this building is an old Karmanian publishing company. Something awaits us inside…” Skipper said.

The two walk into the old building, where more overgrowth is covering the floors and walls around. They see several old publishing desks for many Karmanian books, including Luncheon recipe and spell books.

“No sign of our friend…” Skipper said curiously, as his amulet keeps glowing.

Jake then looks at the floorboard, and sees something gold shining from beneath them. He breaks open the floorboard with his sword. Underneath is an old golden Bananamelon.

“Hey wait a minute…that’s a Bananamelon!” Jake said, taking it out.

“Yup, it indeed is. A rather old and likely mold one, but still making for a suitable bomb nonetheless. Good thing nobody will be eating this.” Skipper replied, as both hold onto it.

“So that’s why the amulet led us here. No sign of our enemy though, oh well. Maybe this place has something else of note in it though.” Jake said, as he explores the rest of the old building.

Jake then sees several series of books called “Bananamelons” in an old office. He dusts off one of the books, looking at the cover.

“Bananamelons…” Jake read curiously.

Skipper then walks into the office, seeing this.

“Oh wow, Bananamelons was a popular Karmanian story series that stopped being published years ago. This was a bestseller long ago. These books are rare nowadays, just like the Bananamelon itself, fittingly.” Skipper reminisced, recognizing the writings.

Jake opens one of the books, but to his surprise, finds that the Bananamelons stories are only a couple of sentences long, taking up just one page.

“…This stuff is only four sentences long per chapter, and it’s not even that funny. How was this popular?” Jake wondered, confused.

“Well Jake, times change. What was “cool” and “hip” years ago probably won’t be years later. People of the olden years had different tastes compared to now. Also, the authors probably never intended them to be big and likely just wrote them for fun at first.” Skipper explained.

“Yeah, I guess you’re right. For it's time this was probably revolutionary. And if they were just in it for fun, then I can respect that. You know…while we’re here, what if we tried to revive Bananamelons?” Jake realized.

“Giving the new era their own Bananamelons…that could be interesting. You know what, let’s do it! We’re bringing Bananamelons back, both in food and in writing!” Skipper replied, on board.

Jake and Skipper then try to set up the writing equipment in the building again, when suddenly…

“FOUND YOU!” Banana Burglar yelled, barging into the old publishing building.

Banana Burglar then laughs, and begins to shoot bananas at all of the printing devices and books, destroying any attempt to revive the series Bananamelons. The building begins to catch on fire.

“Never mind, can’t be nostalgic!” Jake said, accepting the loss.

Banana Burglar laughs and dances, when both Jake and Skipper both whack him in the head from behind. He falls to the ground out cold.

“Duhh…” Banana Burglar groaned.

Well that’s dealt with. It’s a shame we couldn’t revive a piece of Karmanian history though.” Jake said, seeing the burnt Bananamelons books.

“Sometimes, things are better off left in the past. We can’t keep everything going forever. Eventually, everything must end.” Skipper said.

“True, and at least those memories can last forever in different forms.” Jake realized.

Jake and Skipper take Banana Burglar back to the village, handing him over to the royal guards.

“Thank you for catching this menace! Can I do anything to repay you? King Pineaton asked.

“Nah, this Bananamelon is good enough.” Jake replied.

“Alright then. Take care! Now as for you Mr. “Banana Burglar”, you’re going away for a long time…” King Pineaton scolded to him.

“Aw man…” Banana Burglar sighed, as he is escorted away.

“You know, we made a surprisingly good team for such a simple task. You taught me to go with the flow, and it worked. I like that vibe.” Jake said to Skipper.

“As I said before, sometimes you have to let destiny guide you to your destination. I’m sure the same will happen with Cameron.” Skipper reassured.

“You’re right. I learned that when trying to make a way to defeat the Federation, I had to let destiny show me the path to it. The same will happen here. Thanks Skipper, I feel a lot better now.” Jake said, happy.

“I’m glad my wisdom and bonding could help! Now then, back to Central Karmania for us, we have a Bananamelon to deliver.” Skipper said, as both carry it back to the portal where they entered the kingdom from.

They return to Central Karmania, presenting the golden Bananamelon to Meritel in the castle. Meritel is surprised they found it, but happy nonetheless.

“Well here you go.” Jake said.

“Thank you two. This will aid the army well…even if it looks very old.” Meritel said, as two soldiers grab the Bananamelon and take it away.

The two walk out of the castle, meeting up with the rest of the heroes, who finished their training with Elana.

“So what else were you two up to in Luncheon? Something tells me we missed something crazy…” Madison asked curiously.

“It was quite a story…in fact…that gives me an idea.” Jake said curiously, thinking about writing a story.

“…Are you thinking what I am?” Skipper asked.

“Yeah, we can still revive Bananamelons in our own way. And I don’t care about how long it is, as long as it’s fun for everyone.” Jake replied.

Skipper and Jake then write their own short story together about their adventure in Luncheon. It goes under the name of “Bananamelons: Skipper and Jake’s Wild Adventure”, and sells decently well throughout Karmania, making both happy.

Notes/Trivia:

-Character Debuts: Banana Burglar, King Pineaton

-It is revealed that the source of Skipper’s magic food powers come from Luncheon.

-Four weeks have passed since “Cameron Rhodes: Star Guardian”.

-This chapter is somewhat of a meta throwback to the style of the Tv.com days.

Jjs, that was a wonderful episode. If this is the last "filler" ep for the show, then I think I liked what you did with it not only because bananas are my favorite fruit. I enjoyed the convo Skipper and Jake had about the Bannamelon stories, and how you were really speaking on the style of spin-offs past and present. Your intention to honor the writing legacy of not just yourself but our community was reflected well in this episode, which had an appropriately light vibe.

Also, really hoping that whole "amulet taking Skipper's life force"-thing doesn't come back to bite him at some point in these last few episodes. But, we'll see..., really liked Jake and Skipper's chemistry here too.

Overall a great episode, and congrats to you for ten years of fanfiction and all of the passion you've put in. It's been appreciated and respected :) .

126. Who is Dennis Baloney?

A flashback to the events of “The Battle of Posidonia” is shown. As the cosmic creatures that Jake and Madison summoned attack Colress’ feet, the civilians of Posidonia look at them from below. PosidoniaCorp is then shown, as Donald Bucklend looks out his office window, seeing the cosmic beasts in the sky.

“Ooh…now capturing one of those beasts would make me a fortune! COME TO PAPA!” Bucklend yelled, as he grabs a catching net and jumps out his office window.

He tries to swing his net around at the cosmic beasts in the sky. Suddenly, a cosmic squid passes over PosidoniaCorp, and Bucklend swings his net at one of its tentacles. The net hooks onto the tentacle, as Bucklend is carried off by the cosmic squid into the sky.

“Hey, where are you going!? Get back here, you're mine! Curse you magical squid beast!” Bucklend yelled.

He looks at Posidonia from above, still hanging onto the squid’s tentacle. The cosmic squid then lets go of Bucklend, as he goes falling into the ocean below, sinking to the bottom.

Bucklend is then seen waking up in a river near the farmlands. Several farmers, including Farmer Bob, pick him out of the river along with other materials from there.

“Hey y’all, get a load of this.” a farmer said to the others, looking at Bucklend.

“Huh, well that’s the fifth weirdest thing we’ve seen today.” Farmer Bob said, scratching his head.

“Get your hands off of me, you filthy farmers!” Bucklend yelled to the farmers, startling them.

“Hey, I'm not filthy!” one of them replied.

“I dunno, you do spend a lot of time in the mud pits with those manatees.” another farmer said.

“Yeah, well he don’t know I’m one of the cleanest farmers to ever live! I’ve never seen this joker before in my life, so his opinion is irrelevant anyway!” the farmer replied.

“Enough! Don’t you know who I am?!” Bucklend asked annoyed to them.

“No. Who are you?” Farmer Bob asked.

Bucklend then looks down at a puddle, staring at his reflection, which shows his clothes look messier due to his fall.

“I…I don’t know?” Bucklend asked confused, unsure of who he is.

Present day, a breaking news report shows on television, with Paul Dunkley giving the update.

“Four months after the mysterious disappearance of its CEO, PosidoniaCorp is under new, not crazy management! He’s dynamic, he’s exciting, he’s never threatened petty revenge schemes, evaded taxes or performed various unethical business practices! He’s….Nark Luckerberg!” Paul Dunkley explained.

A cardboard cutout of Bucklend inside of a wall falls over, which Nark walks through nervously.

“Uh…hi everyone, happy to-“ Nark was saying awkwardly, as it cuts off.

“Top of his class at Posidonia Fields University, Luckerberg founded the global charity Doubloons for Snails. He’s a formidable replacement for failed former leader Donald Bucklend.” Paul Dunkley explained, as an image shows Nark holding a large check in a hospital room with several snails.

Paul is then shown at an interview table with Nark.

“We cut unnecessary departments like Mindless Revenge Schemes, and the company was also spending a lot of money on “anti-magical creature” weapons for some reason.” Nark explained curiously.

“Nark is even creating a new charity with the new king of Posidonia, King Randy!” Paul Dunkley explained, as Nark is shown shaking hands with Randy on a stage.

“Here at the new PosidoniaCorp, our community is the greatest treasure of all!” Nark said excitedly, as the crowd cheers.

The newscast ends, as it was shown playing on an old television right near a farmer’s market. A scallop pokes at it, and then flies away. Several farmers are seen around the area, as many customers purchase their fresh food at the market. The skies look grey, indicating a storm is coming. Nick and Zero are then seen walking into the area together.

“Ah, nothing better than a relaxing trip to the farmer’s market while most of the gang is at school. What a nice day this will be!” Nick said, smelling the fresh foods around.

“I am not entirely sure if I would say “nice day”, since it appears that a storm is brewing.” Zero said, reading the weather reports and doing calculations, as he looks at the grey skies.

“No storm will ruin what I perceive to be a nice day for me! Besides, these crops need rain to grow, it’s the circle of life…or something philosophical like that.” Nick rambled, as the two go shopping for food.

They then see kids getting off of a tractor boat ride.

“I remember when I used to ride that all the time as a kid, those were fun days.” Nick reminisced. “Doc, can we ride that after we finish shopping? Please?”

“Sure, I don't see why not. Let’s get the food we need first.” Zero replied.

“Kelp! Get your freshly harvested kelp, right here!” Bucklend’s voice yelled, as the two overhear this.

Nick and Zero go to Bucklend’s farmer market stand, where he is seen wearing a new farmer outfit, and now has a beard. Bucklend then places down a large strip of kelp, and holds out an ax, ready to chop parts of it off.

“…Bucklend!?” Nick and Zero said at once, surprised.

“Hello there! Kelp for sale! It's fresh and free!" Bucklend said to them cheerfully.

“Uh…Bucklend?” Nick and Zero both asked, very confused.

"We don't sell that, I don't think." Bucklend replied, confused on what they're referring to.

“What’s with the accent? And what’s with that new beard?” Nick asked curiously.

“Just a bushy beard forged from a life on the farms!” Bucklend explained happily.

“Hmm, I was wondering where you went, and now you mysteriously return as a farmer? Something isn’t right. What’s your angle, Bucklend?” Nick asked suspiciously, as Farmer Bob and another farmer walk into the area.

“What’d you say about the Buck and what?” Farmer Bob asked, confused.

“Are you two disrespecting our new employee? Because this market is a bully free zone!” the other farmer said, annoyed.

“I was just introducing myself! The name’s Dennis Baloney! Like the humble sandwich meat.” “Dennis Baloney” introduced.

“More like mister full of baloney…” Nick said.

“…Excuse us for one second, Mr. Baloney.” Zero said, as he and Nick go off to the side.

“Doc, it was an old timey expression, it means-” Nick was saying.

“I get it, but this is not the time for jokes. Bucklend has been missing for months. Then he suddenly returns out of the blue as a completely different person. I believe he has amnesia.” Zero explained.

“What happened to Bucklend was a mystery I was curious on but nobody else really cared. However, are we sure he really has amnesia? He might be faking to lure us into a trap or something, sounds like something he'd do. Faking amnesia is one of the oldest conman tricks in the book.” Nick said, unsure.

“Hey!” Bucklend waved to the two, as a scallop bites his hand. “Oh you…”

It then bites his face even harder.

“AAAAHHH!” Bucklend yelled, trying to get it off.

“If this is an act, he is a bit too dedicated to it. I do not know, Nick. I think perhaps he could be on a path to becoming a kinder being in this new persona, if he has truly forgotten his misdeeds of the past.” Zero said.

As Zero and Nick keep speculating, Bucklend struggles to get the scallop away. He then trips over some rope, which lifts him up into the air.

“Curse you rope!” Bucklend yelled.

“It’s him.” Nick and Zero realized at once.

A tavern for the farmers is shown, isolated from the rest of the market nearby. Nick and Zero approach Bucklend at a table, who sighs.

“Sorry for yelling. I’ve never acted like that before…that I know of.” Bucklend said suspiciously.

“Haha, this guy! Found him in a river with no memories.” one of the farmers said.

“Just his determination, and a surprisingly high tolerance for pain.” another farmer added.

Bucklend finishes eating his food, and shows his fingers on one hand are somewhat broken. He doesn’t mind though, as he easily snaps them back together, getting them into perfect shape again. Zero and Nick are surprised by this.

“It’s like he was made for livin’ a hard knock life in the farmlands. It makes me proud…” Farmer Bob said, bringing a tear to his eye.

“All I need to know is I came from the farmlands, and I’ll die by it…” Bucklend said boldly.

“Wow, his life is like a haiku now…even if potentially fake.” Nick said, amazed and also suspicious.

“Mr. Baloney, what are your thoughts on former king Ramos? He was extremely wealthy and popular.” Zero said, trying to see if he can strike a nerve with Bucklend.

“He sounds nice!” Bucklend replied happily, as Zero shrugs.

“Are you sure the name “Bucklend” does not sound familiar?” Zero asked, as he holds out a missing poster for Bucklend, which also notes how he is in trouble for tax fraud.

“Wait, you think noble Dennis, legend of the farms, is that gross, old, sleazy, withered husk of a man?” a farmer asked, refusing to buy it.

“Hey Dennis, now that you’re rich, are you gonna buy a round of drinks for everyone here?” The farmer asked him.

“Sure, why not!” Bucklend replied, as he holds out a bundle of several dollars, which are being held together by a fancy, golden money clip with a family crest on it.

“DENNIS! DENNIS! DENNIS! DENNIS!” The rest of the farmers inside cheered for Bucklend.

“Dennis, Dennis!” Nick also cheered, as Zero looks at him. “Hey, why not? I want a free drink! Wait…”

Nick and Zero then both look at the money clip closer.

“Why would a simple farmer have a fancy money clip like that?” Zero wondered.

“I don’t know, but that’s what we’re going to find out, you and me!” Nick replied, determined, as they look at another missing poster for Bucklend hung on the wall.

Bucklend and the farmers walk out of the tavern, singing a song together. Their song is then interrupted by a loud horn from a tractor.

“Well golly, looks like that Federation tractor is back!” Farmer Bob said happily, as they approach it.

“Welcome home!” another farmer said.

“Best tractor in Posidonia!” Farmer Bob said.

The tractor parks nearby, as the worker using it gets out. He unloads materials from the storage compartment, handing them to the farmers.

“…You mean second best, because we obviously have the best farm in Posidonia!” Bucklend said.

“You’re sweet. Sure, we have a scrappy working class charm, but-“ a farmer was saying.

“But nothing! You guys are great! We have to be the best!” Bucklend said.

“Nothing wrong with coming in second!” another farmer said, trying to cheer Bucklend up.

“Ya know, I heard first is the worst, and second is the best! At least that’s what my mother told me, and I’m not sure how much I can trust her advice…” Farmer Bob said, grumbling to himself.

Bucklend looks at the Federation tractor with much contempt.

I don’t know why, but I hate that tractor…” Bucklend said, angry.

“Come on Dennis, farm shanties don’t sing themselves!” a farmer yelled to him.

“Coming!” Bucklend yelled back.

He then angrily waves his fist at the Federation tractor, and then heads off to catch up with the rest of the farmers. Bucklend is later seen working in the farmlands, singing a song. As he does so, Zero is watching him from the distance with his binoculars.

“Not a scheme in sight. It appears Bucklend actually does have amnesia, and believes he is now living the life of a simple farmer.” Zero concluded.

“Eh…I still dunno. Give it time, he’ll probably slip up.” Nick replied.

Nick then waves his hand, forming the green aura, as he tries to read Bucklend’s aura.

“Not even my aura is sure on how to read him, which is pretty weird, as it’s always accurate. But based on what it’s telling me, I think…he really has forgotten part of himself. Looks like you're right, no deception in sight.” Nick said, surprised.

As Bucklend keeps doing his work, he sees the Federation tractor parked nearby, and looks at it with contempt again. Bucklend then throws down a box of dynamite and throws out two sticks. They miss the tractor and fall into a river nearby, exploding. A wave of water, along with several rocks and shells go flying right into Bucklend’s face. He then puts another stick of dynamite into some algae. He attaches it to string, and lowers it down like a puppet.

“Howdy fellas, come jump out of the ground and hang out with me!” Bucklend said, controlling the piece of algae.

“Dennis, what are you doing…” Bucklend said to himself, sighing.

He then puts another stick of dynamite into an apple, and lowers it down next to the algae.

“Now I’ll harvest twice as much crops!” Bucklend said determined, as Nick and Zero are weirded out by this.

“Huh, I do not know what this proves, but I am uncomfortable.” Zero said, confused by what Bucklend is doing.

The Federation tractor then goes off into the fields, as Bucklend falls over, losing both of his food puppets.

Bucklend then approaches the other farmers, who are getting ready to get back to work. He has bloodshot eyes and looks stressed out.

“Farm meeting!” Bucklend yelled to them.

“Whoa Dennis, are you okay?” a farmer asked him, as Bucklend frantically picks up pieces of paper from the ground.

“You look like you didn’t sleep much…” Farmer Bob said, worried.

“Who needs sleep when you’ve devised a perfect scheme! Behold! My ingenious plan to harvest more crops than that Federation tractor!” Bucklend revealed, opening his cardboard pizza box to show his plan, as he laughs.

“Hahaha! I don’t get the joke?” Farmer Bob replied, laughing along, but also confused.

“We start here with a simple hot dog cook-off…or so it seems!” Bucklend was explaining, turning over the paper to reveal his drawing of the cook-off.

Nick and Zero listen in on this.

“Seems like someone’s inner Bucklend is showing. Darn, and here I was hoping he’d change…” Nick said, sighing.

“He is clearly struggling with repressed memories. Perhaps we should help him and keep him on his current path?” Zero inquired.

“We should, but that might be what he wants us to do, and then bam! We’re trapped. Hard to say what we’ll get…” Nick said, pondering.

“Bucklend might do that, but not Dennis.” Zero replied, trying to be hopeful.

“And that’s how we strap the bombs to the seahorses! Now, after getting our engineering degrees from a local community college, we program the previously brainwashed robotic scallops from step 15A to surround the Federation tractor and insult it! While its ego is shattered, we make a rain device which will speed up the crop process, and then we get all of the food for ourselves!” Bucklend explained.

“…Eh Dennis, this is some real nice cardboard art, but if we over-harvest, then there won’t be any left for the community.” Farmer Bob said.

“Because we’ll have all the crops and food for ourselves!” Bucklend bragged.

“But it’s like you always say, sharing is caring!” another farmer reminded.

“…That does sound like me…or does it?” Bucklend wondered, as thunder is heard rumbling in the distance.

“Besides, a storm is brewing. Nobody should be out here cropping anyways.” another farmer said, pointing to the grey skies.

“That’s why the crops will never see it coming! Bwahahaha!” Bucklend laughed maniacally. “Uh…just kidding?”

“Dahahaha! What a joker this Dennis.” Farmer Bob laughed, as the farmers walk away.

The Federation tractor passes by again, as Bucklend eyes it down angrily.

“This isn’t over…tractor.” Bucklend vowed.

Nick and Zero are unsure what to make of this, after overhearing the rest.

“He says he was kidding, but who knows how sincere that was. I genuinely do not know if he remembers his time as Bucklend or not. This is not something I can analyze on a surface level.” Zero said, stumped.

“Welp, there’s only one way now to find out the truth behind Dennis Baloney and Donald Bucklend: A carefully crafted investigation in the vein of Snail-tective! Starring Detective Nick and Professor Zero. Time for us to solve the mystery of Who is Dennis Baloney?” Nick said, putting on his detective hat.

The two are seen at Zero’s apartment. Nick turns on the television to an episode of Snail-tective: In Space, to get them in the detective mood. The episode of Snail-tective shows Snail-tective, Bruce and Mr. Renegade in their space ship, with an alien on board.

"Something is suspicious about our alien friend, Snail-tective. Ronny used to be a criminal, but I have my doubts he has changed..." Bruce said to Snail-tective.

"He previously went by the moniker of the infamous space outlaw Ronny the Kidd, but he does not seem to have any memories of that past." Mr. Renegade noted.

"Meow meow meow." Snail-tective said, as the captions read: "He'll either slip up eventually, or if he does have amnesia, we keep him as our ally."

The crew keeps a close eye on Ronny, making sure he's not doing anything suspicious.

"Wow, this episode mirrors our current situation well." Nick noted.

A bulletin board has been set up in Zero's room with all of their clues. The bulletin board shows pictures of “Dennis Baloney”, Bucklend, the mysterious money clip and a bunch of question mark notes.

“So far we have: Dennis Baloney. Bucklend. And a whole bunch of question marks.” Zero said, as they look at the bulletin board.

“…That’s it?” Nick asked, surprised.

“I could not find any record of Dennis Baloney anywhere. Not only that, but I could also not find any records of Donald Bucklend before he arrived in Posidonia.” Zero explained curiously.

“Now that is a real mystery. We spent hours trying to figure out who Dennis Baloney is, and now we don’t even know who Donald Bucklend really is. This is going to take a lot of analyzation from Detective Nick and Professor Zero…” Nick said curiously, looking at the board.

“There has to be someone who can help us. Think: Who has dealt with Bucklend more than anyone else before? Someone he hated before meeting us?” Zero asked.

“…Ramos.” Nick and Zero realized at once, gasping.

“But where do we even find him?” Nick asked.

“Before he said farewell to us, he mentioned he would be in the Posidonia Wildlands. Since that is somewhat far off, I am sure Flinn would not mind if we borrowed his Ottelia jet to visit there.” Zero said, as Nick nods.

The two then rush out of the apartment room. They meet up with Flinn at the dojo, who is relaxing. They explain the situation to him.

“So yeah, if we can’t use your plane, we can’t find Ramos to solve our mystery.” Nick finished.

“Sure thing lads, you can use it. Not like I’m using it again for the rest of the day. Have fun on your strange adventure.” Flinn said, giving them the key to it.

“Thanks.” Nick and Zero replied, as they head off.

Bucklend is then shown sleeping in a bed. He struggles to sleep, as the light in the room flickers on and off. He then begins to have a nightmare, as the room around him becomes black and grey. Nick and Zero are shown hopping up and down on top of a tractor. Bucklend also sees images of Donny, Blyde, Firebolt, Vastacoar and Morty flying around in the air, but not recognizing any of them. He then walks to the end of the tractor, seeing a younger version of him piloting it. The younger Bucklend’s head then turns around.

“Stay back. I’m in charge now…” young Bucklend said in Nark Luckerberg’s voice, as his face glitches, and shows Nark’s face.

“The tractor’s engine is out. You must go inside to ignite it.” Young Bucklend said, as he holds out the mysterious money clip in his hand.

The golden clip shines, as it floats out of his hand. Bucklend catches it, as the tractor’s horn lets out an ear piercing sound. Bucklend then splits into two personas: his Dennis Baloney one, and his Bucklend one. He then opens the trapdoor, and several ghostly spirits swirl around it. They clear way to reveal a long staircase leading to the engine.

“The tractor’s engine is out…” Nark’s voice reminded.

Bucklend then walks down the many stairs, using the shining money clip as a light source to help guide him. Several eyes appear in the void, watching him. Bucklend reaches the bottom, and enters an empty door. He then sees a mysterious red light flying down the hallway.

“Who’s here!?” Bucklend asked, as his voice echoes through the dark halls. “Stop!”

He then gives chase, but the floor under him begins to fade away. Bucklend then falls down, yelling. A large treasure chest opens up to reveal gold and a seahorse wearing a king crown. The seahorse resembles Ramos. Bucklend lands onto the void ground, as a spotlight lights up over him. He then sees the red light, which is actually a floating trench-coat. He walks closer to it, reaching out his hand. The figure turns around to let out the same horn noise of the tractor, revealing the Federation tractor is the trench-coat’s head. Bucklend gasps, as he falls to the ground. The money clip then lights up, and floats inside of the figure’s trench-coat, as it seals back up. The trench-coat then folds up and disappears, as the tractor floats off. He then feels something in his beard, as he grabs it. He holds out a stone heart in the shape of a dollar sign, with a cowboy hat on it.

“A dollar shaped heart?” Bucklend asked, confused.

He then looks in front of him to see the tractor’s engine.

“The tractor’s engine is out…” Nark’s voice reminded again.

Bucklend then drops the stone heart inside of the engine, as it begins to heat up and work again. The engine shoots out several doubloons, which begin to magically crawl over Bucklend’s body, worrying him.

“Aaaaah, all this money, is attaching to me!” Bucklend panicked, as the doubloons keep covering his body.

The doubloons then cover the rest of his body, as he screams. Nick and Zero keep hopping up and down above the tractor. Bucklend's businessman persona is shown being restored, as the treasure chest with the Ramos seahorse closes. Bucklend then wakes up in a panic.

“…Just a dream. Eh, those never mean anything.” Bucklend said, reassuring himself.

Zero and Nick land the plane deep in the Posidonia Wildlands. They get out of it, as they come across a man made nature village. Many nematodes, scallops, spider crabs, jellyfish and snails are living together in harmony in the village. They see a small wooden castle similar to Posidonia’s old one has been set up.

“Hello? Ramos?” Nick asked, looking around.

Ramos then walks out of the wooden castle, wearing a fancy nature cape.

“Oh…hello knights. What brings you to my quiet domain? If this has to do with some magical nonsense, count me out! I want nothing to do with that stuff anymore. I am living peacefully now here, as the protector of the wild lands, not a king.” Ramos said, as several jellyfish and scallops happily float around him, and he tames them.

“Nothing Karmania related, we promise. Instead, something ominous has occurred with one of your old rivals, Donald Bucklend…” Zero said, getting Ramos’ attention.

“I’m listening…” Ramos replied curiously.

Bucklend then happily walks into the farmer tavern, as everyone sees him. Bucklend walks closer to his main farmer group.

“I see someone’s up from their afternoon nap!” a farmer greeted to him.

“Hey Dennis, we made you something special.” Farmer Bob said, handing Bucklend an honorary farmer plaque.

“Farmer Dennis,” Bucklend read.

“It’s official now, you’re part of the farming family! No big deal!” another farmer said, crying.

“Wow, this is the nicest thing anyone has done for me…I think! Aww, nothing could ruin this day…” Bucklend said, hugging his farmer friends.

Suddenly, the tavern door opens. Ramos walks in with Nick and Zero.

“…I’m looking for Dennis Baloney.” Ramos said to everyone inside, as all of the farmers look to Bucklend.

“Remember dude, you just need to figure out what’s going on with Bucklend here.” Nick said.

“I know, I’m not the one with amnesia!” Ramos replied.

Ramos then walks right to Bucklend, as he grabs a seat at a table. Bucklend also takes a seat, as the two begin to talk.

“I wish what we knew they were saying…” Nick wondered, as Zero and Nick look at the two continue to talk.

Ramos and Bucklend then both get up, looking angry at each other at first.

“Oh no, are they going to-“ Nick was saying.

Instead of fighting however, the two hug.

“…Hug? Now that I didn’t see coming.” Nick finished, shocked.

Ramos then walks away, as Bucklend waves goodbye to him.

“Yeah, that’s Bucklend alright. And he does indeed have amnesia.” Ramos explained.

“Should we try to help him, or…” Nick was asking.

“No. In all my years of dealing with that weirdo, I’ve…never seen Donald happy or more at peace. Let him be Dennis Baloney. It’s for his own good. I found peace, and he can too.” Ramos said calmly.

“What if he has a brain injury or worse?” Zero asked.

“He’s fine, he got into crazy accidents on a daily basis when running his company. A brain injury is probably a step up for him. I think you should let this one be, knights. On that note, since I was royal family, I’d like to do something good in their name for once in over 50 years and pitch in to that Nark guy’s charity, Doubloons for Snails. As the ruler of the nature kingdom, I too care deeply for those snails. Maybe I could convince him to accept pennies. See ya guys later.” Ramos said to them, as he leaves.

“Huh…well, that’s another mystery successfully solved!” Nick said, surprised.

“So…should we ride that tractor boat now?” Zero asked.

“Oh right, the thing we were going to do before this whole mystery.” Nick realized.

The two board the tractor boat, as it takes them for a nice tour through the farmlands. However, the storm is still brewing in, as heavy winds begin to occur. Bucklend is deep in thought, sitting outside of the farmer tavern. He is holding one of the “Missing” posters showing himself.

“I don’t know who I used to be, but I know who I am. Dennis Baloney. It’s time for Bucklend to go away.” Bucklend said, as he crumbles up the missing poster, and throws it.

The ball then hits a tractor, and bounces back into his face.

“I said go away!” Bucklend said, taking the poster off.

He then sees how Nick and Zero are riding on a tractor boat into the fields, as the storm keeps blowing.

“You know, after this whole Baloney stuff, it made me realize I really love working together with you, doc. I hope we stay best friends forever!” Nick said eagerly.

"As do I, Nick." Zero replied, as the two drink their bottles from the tavern.

"This stuff actually tastes pretty good." Nick said.

Lightning strikes in the sky, as rain comes down hard.

“However, I do hope this ride comes to an end soon…” Zero said, looking at the storm clouds a bit concerned.

“Gah! Guys, the storm’s a coming!” Bucklend tried to yell to the two in the distance.

Bucklend then stands up on top of the tractor, ready to save the two. Lightning strikes again in the sky, and the wind begins to blow at a crane nearby.

“I’ll save ya! For my name isn’t…” Bucklend was saying.

The heavy wind blows the crane, which causes the hook to hit him in the head. Bucklend falls into the tractor’s seat knocked out, and he accidentally turns it on.

A flashback is shown to a market village in Ruppia many years ago. A younger Bucklend is walking around, holding a towel for his shoe shine business.

“Shoe shine? Shoe shine? Get your shoe shine here!” Bucklend was saying to random passerby's, but they ignore him.

“Can you handle a pair of royal shoes?” a younger Ramos asked, walking into the area.

The villagers all look at him in awe.

“Wow, that’s the recently crowned King of Posidonia!” One of the merchants whispered.

“Never met a shoe I couldn’t shine!” Bucklend said happily.

Ramos sits on a crate, as Bucklend uses his towel to shine Ramos’ shoes.

“So, what brings ya to Ruppia?” Bucklend asked.

“On tour, have to be friendly to our neighboring countries since I’m the new king of Posidonia and all. Just another ordinary day for King Ramos, certainly beats reading boring paperwork though.” Ramos replied, relaxing.

“You sure must be a big deal if you’re referring to yourself in the third person. You know, Dennis Baloney is kind of a big deal too! He’s got tons of plans to make himself the richest fish in the world! First, I’ll take my shine money, and buy a kelp algae mine! Then, I’ll stomp on the algae so hard it turns into diamonds!” Bucklend explained.

“Wouldn’t that hurt your feet?” Ramos asked.

“No sir, I’m too stubborn to know when I’m hurt! Anyways, I’ll build a massive drill with a diamond big to drill for gold and become rich!” Bucklend replied, showing blueprints for his drill design.

“Why don’t you just cash in the diamonds?” Ramos asked, confused by his plan.

“But then what would I use for the drill?” Bucklend asked, as Ramos gets up, laughing.

Ramos then holds out several dollars, being held by the same money clip that Bucklend has in the present day. He then changes his mind though, and instead holds out a dime. He flips it, as it lands in Bucklend’s hand.

“Good luck!” Ramos said, as he prepares to leave.

“…A dime!? Shoe shines a dollar, and royalty is extra, plus tip!” Bucklend ranted angrily, throwing the dime to the ground, as Ramos picks it up.

“…I was trying to teach you a lesson in self-reliance, or something like that! It’s how I became rich and got into the position I’m currently in! Or rather just being put there by family blood, but still!” Ramos rambled.

“You’re a king, and you gave me a DIME!?” Bucklend snapped, annoyed.

“It was supposed to be a symbolic gesture to work for your fortune! Which is better than your half-baked schemes…” Ramos said snidely, laughing to himself.

“…Are you mocking me!? How dare you!? You think you’re SO rich and SO amazing because you’re a king!” Bucklend ranted, mocking Ramos.

“I was only trying to help! Whatever, there’s a lot of ungrateful jerks in the world!” Ramos shrugged, as he walks off.

“Oh, you’ll regret it alright…” Bucklend said ominously.

He then holds out Ramos’ cash, held by the money clip, revealing Bucklend stole it from him when he wasn’t looking.

“Missing something, King Ramos? Hahaha! My schemes are half-baked, eh? Well how’s this for full cooked?” Bucklend was explaining, holding the cash.

“First, I’ll use your own money to create a superior, businessman persona! Then I’ll build my own company right in your homeland Posidonia! Finally, I’ll dedicate the rest of my life to BESTING KING RAMOS!” Bucklend explained, revealing his full backstory, as he laughs. “You'll rue the day you-“

The scene cuts back to the present, as Bucklend wakes up in the tractor’s seat.

“Blast!” Bucklend yelled, and then realizes he accidentally started the tractor up.

“DENNIS! DENNIS! DENNIS!” The farmers cheered, as Bucklend sees Zero and Nick in the distance.

“Uh, someone help!” Nick yelled, as their tractor boat is getting rocked by the heavy rain and winds.

“Dennis is gonna save those two guys!” Farmer Bob said happily, cheering.

Bucklend moves the tractor closer to theirs.

“Give me your hand!” Bucklend yelled to Nick.

Nick does so, but Bucklend smiles smugly. He then throws Nick onto the ground, off the tractor.

“Rude!” Nick yelled, as Zero quickly grabs him in time and helps him back aboard the tractor boat.

Bucklend rips out crops from the ground, and stands tall on the tractor boat. He looks at the Federation tractor in the distance.

“Ha, I can get more crops even in the middle of a storm! Take that Federation tractor, which I’m just now realizing was a metaphor for my hatred of Ramos Lannister!” Bucklend yelled, getting his memories back.

“Why would you do that, dude?” Nick asked, annoyed.

“Because I'm Donald Bucklend, and I always will be! Bahahaha!” Bucklend yelled, laughing evilly, realizing who he is again.

Lightning then strikes, as it burns off his fake beard. He is undeterred by this however, as he grabs another fake beard from his pocket, and puts it on.

“…Was that in his pocket the whole time?” Zero asked, confused.

“Bahahahaha!” Bucklend kept laughing evilly, as the tractor boat returns back to the market, since the ride ran its course.

All of the farmers see this, looking disappointed in Bucklend.

“Did you just try to hurt two innocent civilians? That’s not my Dennis Baloney…” a farmer said, upset by his actions.

“More like phony Baloney if you ask me!” Farmer Bob said, crying.

“BOO! YOU STINK!” A crowd member yelled.

“I left Dennis Baloney back in Ruppia! LONG LIVE BUCKLEND! BUCKLEND! BUCKLEND!” Bucklend yelled, as he jumps off the tractor and runs off.

Nick and Zero look at this worried. Back at PosidoniaCorp, Ramos is seen in Nark Luckerberg’s office.

“It’s just that dimes are kind of pricey, I’m not really in a position for lots of money now when I spend my days in the wilds looking after animals…” Ramos was trying to explain to Nark, looking over the paperwork for their charity deal.

“…Mr. Ramos, we’ve been over this.” Nark replied, getting annoyed.

Suddenly, Bucklend then bursts in through the office door, surprising both Ramos and Nark.

“BUCKLEND! BUCKLEND! BUCKLEND! HA! You thought you had me Ramos, pretending to be a tractor in my dreams!? Nice try!” Bucklend yelled.

“…Goodbye Dennis Baloney. Hello Donald. It was nice while it lasted.” Ramos said, sighing.

“Mr. Bucklend, I’m Nark Luckerberg. Currently the acting CEO of PosidoniaCorp, it’s an honor to meet you-“ Nark was introducing to Bucklend.

“Save it, moron! Ramos was hoping everyone would forget Donald Bucklend, but I’M UNFORGETTABLE!” Bucklend yelled, slamming his fist on the desk.

“…You literally forgot yourself. And for once, you were happy!” Ramos replied.

“I’m only happy when you're unhappy!” Bucklend yelled, getting in Ramos’ face.

“Should I call security or…” Nark was asking, closing the office door, since some employees tried to look inside from the hallways.

“It’s best to just let him yell.” Ramos replied, trying to ignore Bucklend, as he signs the paper.

“I will not be forgotten again! I propose a wager! You versus me! Whoever is the richest man by the end of the year…wins!” Bucklend proposed to Ramos.

“Come on now Bucklend, why would I ever agree to a stupid bet when I spend my days in the wild now away from society?” Ramos asked.

“Oh…I can think of a reason!” Bucklend replied smugly.

He holds out the Lannister family crest money holder that he stole from Ramos long ago. Ramos sees this and is shocked, recognizing it as his.

“…Where did you get that!?” Ramos asked, shocked.

“Oh, this!? I’ve had it since I stole it from you when I was just an ordinary lad!” Bucklend revealed.

“…That was you!” Ramos realized, as he gets out of the chair and confronts Bucklend.

“I beat you before, and I can do it again! Unless you’re afraid of being second place…” Bucklend taunted.

“ I may be done with all of the Karmania stuff, but I’m not done besting you! I’ll never come in second to an inglorious grifter like you!” Ramos replied angrily.

“Then prove it! Winner gets the loser’s luxuries, and becomes the richest man in Posidonia…forever!” Bucklend proposed.

“You're on!” Ramos accepted, holding out his hand.

Bucklend grabs it, as the two keep their hands locked together. They angrily look at each other and both refuse to move. Nark then awkwardly walks over and grabs the paperwork off the desk as they do that.

“I’m…just gonna go ahead and sign the charity paperwork for both of you. Pleasure doing business.” Nark said, signing the papers, as he walks away.

Nick and Zero then burst in through the office door.

“Ramos! Bucklend is back and he’s…” Nick was saying, as the two see Ramos and Bucklend in their locked handshake.

“…Already here. It appears we missed something important.” Zero said, sighing.

Notes/Trivia:

-Character Debuts: Nark Luckerberg

-Nobody uses their magic powers in this chapter.

-Only three knights appear in this chapter, making this the first (and only) time in the entire spin-off that most of the cast is not present.

-Last time that Snail-tective appears.

-PosidoniaCorp being under new leadership explains why Morty and Vastacoar were in The Under in “Ring of Doom”.

-

It is revealed why Bucklend hates Ramos so much, along with his full backstory. He used to be named “Dennis Baloney” when he was in Ruppia, and changed his name to Donald Bucklend after moving to Posidonia so he could best Ramos.

That was great episode! I really liked everything with Bucklend, the amnesia, and him assuming his even stranger Dennis Baloney persona. Also, the triumphant return of Ramos made this episode all the better, including a clearer understanding of their past through the flashback sequence. All around, a good episode, even with most of the cast absent.

127. Temple of Destiny

One day, the heroes are seen training outside of the Central Karmania castle. Jake is deep in thought. Suddenly, several royal guards approach the heroes, escorting Drew, who is wearing his Karmatraz Isle prisoner outfit. The heroes are surprised to see him.

“Wow, didn’t expect to see him again.” Tori said.

“Yeah, I thought we would have to wait like another year to see Drew again.” Audrey joked.

“Drew? What are you doing here?” Jake asked curiously, approaching him.

“Hello, Jake and friends. We need to talk. The Karmatraz Isle guards let me come here because this is important. I’ve been having dreams about Cameron lately. In them, it feels as if he is calling out to me for help…” Drew explained, interesting the heroes.

“Can you describe what occurred in the dreams?” Zero asked.

“They mostly all involve Cameron being stranded in a faraway location, almost like another planet. He needs help, but I have no idea how to reach him….that’s why I’ve come to you guys.” Drew explained to the heroes, as he has a vision showing Cameron looking weak and starving on Atlas’ planet.

“That’s troubling…” Madison said, worried.

“I didn’t know you could telepathically communicate with people in your dreams. This dimension is crazy.” Roxy said, surprised.

“I am not sure if I necessarily communicated with him, but rather, I was given premonition dreams, giving me signs of things to come. If we don’t do something soon however, he could die.” Drew said.

“That would complicate things…but where do we even begin to find him?” Audrey wondered, concerned.

“The Mystic Temple in Western Karmania exploded, so we have no way back to him.” Trent recalled.

“This is quite a conundrum. Not even I would know how to reach him despite all of the magic I know…” Skipper sighed.

Jake then goes deep in thought. He relaxes and then concentrates to himself, as his red knight stone glows. He then sees a vision and comes to a realization.

“I…think I know how we can save Cameron now. We need to see Wishy Joe.” Jake realized, confusing the heroes.

“Why him of all people?” Cynthia asked.

“I had a vision pointing me to his dimension. There’s something there that can help us find Cameron.” Jake explained.

“Wait, I just realized, couldn’t we use Joe to wish Cameron back? Or would that be a cheap copout?” Nick pondered.

“I don’t think so, but it was difficult to tell from my vision. Nick, give me that teleport card you use to get to Joe.” Jake said, and Nick hands the letter to him

“Alright, let’s go save Cameron-“ Tori was saying eagerly, but Jake stops the rest of the team.

“Sorry guys, but…the rest of you can’t go. The stone told me only Madison, Drew and I can go. In my vision, just us three were with Joe. It seems like it’s only us three that are destined to be there, and you being there would alter the course of destiny, as weird as this sounds.” Jake explained to them.

“Aww, that sucks.” Trent replied.

“That’s…really weird, but okay?” Roxy replied.

“Destiny schmestiny, eh whatever. Just get him back for the team.” Cynthia replied.

“Well if the paths of destiny foretell only you three may be there, then that is how it must be. Good luck.” Skipper said to the three.

Jake activates the note, as Drew and Madison get close to him. It teleports the three away, as they appear outside of Wishy Joe’s palace in his dimension.

“This is quite the location…” Drew said, looking around at the gold colored dimension in curiosity.

The three walk into Wishy Joe’s palace, where they see him playing a magical game of chess with Tom. They have snacks and drinks set up around.

“Knock knock?” Madison greeted, surprising the two.

“Oh…uh, hello there! What brings you here, friends?” Joe asked, as he abruptly ends his chess game with Tom.

“I had a vision about meeting you here. I think we were destined to find something in your realm. We need to save Cameron, and you might be our only hope.” Jake explained to Joe.

“Hmm…it sounds as if the time has come for some destinies to align in that temple, Joe…” Tom said curiously.

“Oh right, the Destiny Temple. I haven’t been inside of that thing in ages. Come with me, you lucky three will get to visit the Destiny Temple.” Joe explained.

“What’s inside of there? Is that how we can rescue Cameron?” Drew asked.

“It very well could. The Destiny Temple is an ancient structure built in my dimension by my ancestors. It will call to a select few to have them enter it, pass its trials, and get what they have been seeking. If you have any unresolved conflicts, they will be put to rest inside of this temple.” Joe explained to the three.

“Quick question, can we just wish for Cameron back or is that off limits?” Madison asked.

“No. This matter can only be resoled in the Destiny Temple, meaning even I can’t wish him back. That’s destiny, man.” Joe replied, shrugging.

“The magical world has some weird and borderline convoluted rules at times…” Jake said.

Joe escorts the three out of the palace, as Tom watches curiously, eating potato chips. He takes them into the palace’s backyard, as they see the Destiny Temple in the distance nearby. As Joe escorts Jake, Madison and Drew, they see Vexacus is standing by a large magical hole, filling it with grains of salt. There is a large pile of salt right next to him, as he keeps using a small pincher to grab the grains from the pile. He is also wearing prisoner chains around his legs, preventing him from escaping.

“What’s Vexacus doing here?” Jake asked, confused.

“After he tried to change time, and failed badly, I’ve put him into my custody so he doesn’t cause anymore problems. We’re trying to cure Vexacus’ obsession with you guys. I’ve sentenced him to fill that entire hole with salt…grain by grain. Fun!” Joe explained.

“That’s…kind of sad. Man, how our villains have fallen from grace.” Madison said, observing him.

“The hole will be filled eventually, patience Vexacus…” Vexacus rambled to himself, as he keeps dropping grains of salt into the hole, looking tired, deranged and frustrated deep down.

“My punishment helped change me for the better. Maybe he can change too.” Drew suggested.

“He’s been after us for over a year now, I think he’s beyond help.” Madison replied, as Vexacus keeps placing salt into the hole, trying to calm himself.

Joe keeps escorting the three, as they reach the outside entrance of the Destiny Temple. A guard wearing ancient robes and a stone helmet is outside the entrance reading a book.

“In order to enter the temple, you must fool that guard. Luckily for you, there’s cool hats you can wear to trick him!” Joe said, pointing to a box of top hats for them to put on.

The three take the hats from the box, putting them on their heads.

“Neat.” Jake said.

The three then walk to the entrance, as the temple guard looks up from his book at the three, not saying anything.

“Uh…hi.” Madison said, waving to the guard.

“You may pass.” The temple guard replied uncaringly, as he presses a tile which makes the temple entrance open up.

“Wow, that was easier than I thought.” Jake said surprised, as the three walk onward.

“Wait, hold on. There are two more the temple waits on. That shark guy is one of them.” The temple guard said, pointing to Vexacus.

“…He’s supposed to go with us?” Madison asked, sighing.

“If that is what destiny foretells…” Joe replied, shrugging.

“Who is the other one?” Drew asked.

“You will find that out soon enough.” The temple guard replied, as he goes back to reading his book.

“Hey Vexacus, you’re getting a break from this salt work.” Joe said, approaching him.

“What? Why? I’ve been having so much fun…” Vexacus replied sarcastically, filling more salt grains into the hole.

“You have a choice. You can go into that temple with them and face your destiny, or stay here picking salt grains.” Joe explained to Vexacus, as Vexacus thinks it over.

“At this point, I’ll take anything other than this tedious task. Fine, I promise I won’t hurt anyone. I’ve stopped caring about the guardians and knights anyways.” Vexacus replied, shrugging, as he drops the pincher.

Joe then breaks off his prisoner chains, and escorts him to the temple entrance, placing him by Jake, Madison and Drew. All three look at him awkwardly.

“So…let’s get going then.” Jake replied.

“Good luck. All of the paths will come together here.” Joe said to the four.

“All of the paths are coming together…hey, Cameron said that to me before. I knew that had a deeper meaning.” Jake recalled.

“Be very careful guys. I hear this place gets very…wild and crazy, fast. Whatever happens to you from here on out, I am not responsible for.” Joe warned.

“That’s reassuring.” Madison said, sighing.

The four walk into the temple entrance, going down a dark hallway. The door seals shut from behind, as mystical lights guide their path forward.

Meanwhile, Ramos is seen walking around Posidonia Fields, thinking of ways to defeat Bucklend at his bet. He is writing down ideas on a notepad. Several civilians notice him, some recognizing him in his new look, and others not.

“Is that…Ramos? Hey buddy, it’s me! You still never signed my hat!” a civilian waved to him, still wanting him to sign his hat.

“Who are you again?” Ramos asked, as he comes to a stop at a group of people, looking up from his notepad confused.

“Hey everyone, it’s King Ramos! Where have you been man?” Another civilian said, as they cheered for him.

“I’m not your king anymore…I’ve left that part of me, amongst many other things, in the past. Please leave me be.” Ramos said to the crowd, as he carefully walks around, trying to get away from them.

The crowd then sees Ramos trying to flee, and give chase.

“You people are wild animals…which is oddly poetic given what I've been dealing with every day the past few months in my nature kingdom!” Ramos said, as he keeps running.

He then takes a quick left turn around a street corner, and loses the crowd. He feels relieved, as the crowd goes past. Suddenly, he begins to hear a voice from beyond calling to him…

“Ramos…” the ominous voice spoke.

“…Who’s there? Beast again? No, that’s not him…” Ramos said curiously, not recognizing it.

He keeps following the trail of the voice. It takes him to the forests, and the trail ends at a dead tree.

“Very funny…” Ramos said, about to walk away.

Suddenly, a portal opens within the tree, showing Madison, Jake, Drew and Vexacus walking through the Destiny Temple hall.

“…Huh. Why am I seeing this? Am I supposed to be there?” Ramos wondered.

He then trips over, and goes falling right into the tree’s portal.

“WAAHH!” Ramos yelled, as he lands on the hallway floor before the gang.

“What in blazes? Ramos!?” Vexacus asked, startled and annoyed.

“So that’s the fifth person the guard was talking about.” Madison realized.

“…Hello Jake, Madison, Vexacus, and….some guy I’ve never met before.” Ramos said, not recognizing Drew.

“Hi…” Drew greeted awkwardly.

“Hey, how have you been since…moving on? Nick and Zero told us you built a kingdom in the wild lands, which sounds cool.” Madison greeted.

“I’ve been doing better now that my past is in the well, past. Though now I’m stuck in a bet with that stupid Bucklend, just when I wanted to move on from the past! Anyways, where are we, and how did I wind up here?” Ramos asked, looking around at the magical temple confused.

“This is the Destiny Temple. The five of us were destined to be here for different reasons. There’s something here that you need resolution to, and this temple will resolve it for you. I take it that Bucklend bet is your unresolved conflict.” Jake explained.

“And mine is likely that scoundrel Tobias…” Vexacus mumbled to himself, looking at his metal arm.

The five exit the hallway, taking them into a room. The first room of the temple is a straight path across a magical lake. In the lake, there are many frogs sitting on lily pads. One of the frogs has Madectrison’s face on it, and another has Tobias’ face on it. There is a stone sign telling people to avoid eye contact with the frogs.

“Whatever you do, don’t look at the frogs.” Jake warned, as they carefully walk down the path.

The five carefully walk down the path, doing their best to not look at the frogs. Ramos gives into the temptation though, as he hears the frogs calling his name in familiar voices. Ramos looks at the frogs, seeing faces of his family on them, including past Posidonia kings, Edward, Brak and Elizabeth.

“My…family…” Ramos realized, thinking about them bitterly.

Suddenly, all of the frogs’ eyes begin to glow red, and they look angry due to Ramos staring at them.

“You moron, you angered the frogs!” Vexacus said, as they all begin to croak.

“Run!” Jake yelled.

The five run down the path, as the frogs jump up in numbers, and they try to avoid them. The Madectrison frog jumps at Madison, as she avoids it. The Tobias frog jumps at Vexacus, who slashes it in half with his sword.

“That was a bit much, they’re just frogs!” Ramos said to Vexacus, who growls and ignores him, as they keep running, avoiding the flying frogs.

The five make it to the end of the room, safe from the angry frogs, who all vanish.

“Okay, let’s not do that again.” Jake said, as they enter the next room.

The second temple room is a small dark, ominous room, with plants growing everywhere. In the middle of the floor, a chalkboard with many math equations is lying against a large vine.

“Great, math. Of course this had to be a temple trial…” Madison said.

“Maybe if we, and by we, I mean you, solve the equation, we can get out of here.” Vexacus suggested, as he notices how the vines around keep growing. “And we better hurry before those plants cover this entire room…”

“Well I have no idea what any of this is saying, and I’m usually decent at math.” Jake said, trying to analyze the chalkboard.

“Let me try, I did pretty well on math in school…I think.” Ramos said, crackling his knuckles, and walks forward.

Ramos looks at the math equations in curiosity trying to see if he can figure out a solution.

“Okay, so apparently I remember less on math than I thought I did. I’m glad my education paid off!” Ramos said sarcastically, and sighs.

“How are we supposed to get out of here then?!” Vexacus asked angrily.

Vexacus slashes his sword at some of the vines, but they all automatically regrow back, making them angrier.

“Yeah, that’s not helping.” Drew said, avoiding more of the vines.

Suddenly, the room’s walls begin to close in on them, indicating they are running out of time.

“Someone think of something!” Ramos said, panicking.

“I don’t think we can solve this trial in a conventional way…” Jake said, looking around at his surroundings.

Suddenly, a large crow creature flies around from the shadows. It lands on top of a vine above the chalkboard, and laughs. It looks at both Drew and Ramos interested.

“Hey, what is that ugly thing looking at?! Are you mocking me? I’ll show you!” Ramos yelled to the crow.

Ramos begins to climb up the vine after the crow, as the rest just look at this confused and shrugging. The crow then flies off, making Ramos lose his balance. Ramos falls off the vine, and goes crashing right into the chalkboard, making a light flash from it. It causes the floor to break, as all five get teleported by the white light. The five are then separated into different paths. Jake, Madison and Drew land in one room, Ramos lands in his own area, and Vexacus lands in another.

“Hey, I did it! …And everyone is gone…” Ramos said, sighing, as he gets up, appearing in a room resembling a black void.

He walks around, as multiple portals pop up in the area around, similar to The World Between Worlds. The portals show past scenes of Bucklend. Ramos is startled, and looks at them confused.

“Ugh, go away! I don’t want to think about him anymore!” Ramos said.

He then sees a portal showing their first meeting in Ruppia, as it calls to him.

As the flashback keeps playing out, Ramos then sees young Bucklend about to steal his money clip.

“Oh no you don’t!” Ramos said.

He reaches his hand out through the portal, and takes the money clip from young Bucklend while he isn’t looking. Ramos pulls the money clip into the present, as he is surprised it works. He holds onto the royal clip, looking at the Lannister family crest, as the rest of the flashback keeps playing out.

“I was only trying to help! Whatever, there’s a lot of ungrateful jerks in the world!” Ramos shrugged, as he walks off.

“Oh, you’ll regret it alright…” Bucklend said ominously.

Young Bucklend tries to pull out the money clip, but notices it is gone, confusing him. The portal then vanishes. Another portal appears near Ramos, showing Bucklend on a bench outside of PosidoniaCorp, writing down ways to beat Ramos on his own notepad.

“Hmm, ah ha, yes, I’ll become a traveling chocolate bar salesmen! That is sure to get me more money than Ramos!” Bucklend said, thinking of ideas.

He then looks at his notepad again and gasps to see Ramos in it through the temple’s portal.

“Yoohoo!” Ramos greeted.

“What what what!? What are you doing in my notebook!?” Bucklend asked, shocked, as he drops the notebook.

He then picks it back up and sees the portal in his notebook still, creeping him out.

“Hey Bucklend, guess what I got?” Ramos bragged, holding the money clip in his hand.

Bucklend then reaches into his pocket, and is shocked to see the money clip is indeed gone.

“What kind of black magic is this!?” Bucklend asked, panicking.

“It’s over Bucklend, I’ve beat you at your own game before it even started. I want to move on from my past and I’m calling off the bet!” Ramos declared.

“NO! I will not be thrown aside like that! I am Donald Bucklend, and I will defeat you for once in my life!” Bucklend yelled, standing up strong.

“Give it a rest already, Dennis, Donald, Bucklend, Baloney, whoever you are. Do something good with your life and make a business that will benefit people for once. If you really want to win, you should do it by forgetting about me and putting that energy into a brand new hobby. Besides, what’s the use of beating someone who isn’t the king anymore?” Ramos said, as Bucklend thinks it over.

“Hmm…maybe you’re right. I don’t even have any of my henchmen anymore to execute any of these plans anyways. Also, I’m pretty much bankrupt, so I can’t even fund any of my schemes. And…PosidoniaCorp does seem happier and better now under its new ownership. Perhaps it is time we end this stupid rivalry once and for all…” Bucklend pondered, looking at the cleaned up PosidoniaCorp.

“Let’s call a truce, old “friend”.” Ramos said.

He reaches his hand through the notepad portal, as Bucklend shakes it.

“Wow, I actually feel…happy. Thank you Ramos, I’m going to start a brand new business, that hopefully won’t get me involved with the mafia and criminal underworld this time! See ya.” Bucklend said.

He throws his notepad, and walks away, whistling happily to himself. The portal then disappears, as Ramos also feels content.

“Was that my unresolved conflict? I still feel as if something is bugging me…” Ramos said.

He then looks at the money clip again. He looks at the Lannister family crest symbol, and sighs, thinking about his family once more. He has a flashback to the first time he got the money clip.

Younger versions of Edward, Elizabeth, Ramos and Brak are seen in the royal castle. William, Edward’s father, is currently the King of Posidonia. He is sleeping on the throne. Brak and Ramos are both children at the time, as they are playing with toys outside of the throne room. Edward then approaches Ramos and Brak.

“My sons, I want you to have this.” Edward said, handing Ramos and Brak their own money clips.

“Thanks dad, what’s this for?” Ramos asked.

“It’s for keeping your money in. My father gave this to me, and I think this will serve you two well in making sure your fortune is protected. Consider it a sign of your family heritage.” Edward said to them, as the young Ramos keeps looking at the money clip, ending the flashback.

“My family…my terrible, uncaring family. I wish things had been different with them…” Ramos sighed, wishing he could change time.

Suddenly, Tom appears in the void room, startling Ramos.

“Hey, it’s weird guy! Been a while.” Ramos said, recognizing Tom.

“Yes, hello Ramos. I couldn’t hope but overhear your family issues that still linger at you, hence why the temple called you here.” Tom explained.

“Bucklend wasn’t my only unresolved conflict, interesting. Explains a lot. What made you decide to talk to me again after vanishing?” Ramos asked.

“I was bored, and I guess it’s my destiny to be here with you, at this very moment. I have no reason to interfere with the other four’s inner trials. Here, take this chocolate bar, it’ll cheer you up from thinking about that dark past.” Tom said, handing Ramos a chocolate bar like he did before.

“Thanks, I’ve missed these.” Ramos replied, as he eats the chocolate bar. “I remember that time you taught me some spells, that was fun. You were kind of like…my real father in some ways.”

“That means a lot to me, you could say I act as a father to many people. Out of curiosity, what would you say is your deepest wish?” Tom asked curiously.

“I wish…I had a normal family. Just to know what it’s like. I wish my family had never been involved with this royal nonsense, or the Federation, or Karmania, or any of it. Now they’re gone forever, or at least my dad and brother are, and that will never be changed. I have rid everything else from my past, but they will never leave my mind…” Ramos said, sighing.

“I know your feelings well. I lost my father long ago to that cretin Malgus…it’s the only thing I’ve ever been sad about.” Tom admitted.

“…What’s a Malgus?” Ramos wondered curiously.

“…I don’t like talking about it.” Tom replied bitterly and somewhat concerned, but Ramos is intrigued by this.

Suddenly, the void begins to shoot fire out of it, surrounding the two. Many new portals appear around, showing Ramos throughout different points in his life, including flashbacks to past chapters. These show: Ramos’ childhood with Brak, Ramos being crowned as King of Posidonia for the first time, Ramos meeting Bucklend for the first time, Ramos meeting Vexacus and Tobias for the first time, Ramos giving his speech to the Posidonia Fields High School, Diggy giving Ramos the Dimensional Accelerator, Ramos meeting Elana for the first time, Ramos in his Drakkus armor and being sent flying by the heroes, Ramos surviving in the Wildlands, Ramos stealing Valina’s staff, Ramos attacking the Underground City and meeting Beast, Ramos meeting Tom for the first time, Tom teaching Ramos spells, Beast taking over Ramos’ body, Ramos killing Beast and saying goodbye to the heroes, Ramos meeting Nick and Zero at his nature kingdom, and Ramos being teleported to the Destiny Temple.

“All these memories, but…I am feeling nothing and something at the same time from a lot of them…” Ramos said.

He then feels a voice call to him. Ramos walks through the fire, as his body begins to glow a dark, molten color.

“That’s pretty cool.” Tom noted, following Ramos through the fire.

Ramos keeps walking, as he looks at more of his past moments, and seems upset at some of the horrible things he did to Karmania and the heroes, one of which being blinding Cameron.

“I’ve done so many terrible things…and I never truly did apologize to all the people I’ve hurt. If only my family hadn’t been so awful, that could be changed…” Ramos sighed, as the fire keeps surrounding his molten body.

The flames then clear up, as an empty void appears before him. Ramos looks into the void, as if he sees something of interest…

Meanwhile, Vexacus is wandering around the temple halls, going around in seemingly directionless paths.

“No direction, no goal…how fitting, since that is what my accursed life has become…” Vexacus sighed.

Suddenly, a portal appears, showing Tobias Beckett riding on a train, with a newspaper covering his face. Vexacus looks at this with much contempt.

“Hello, fool…” Vexacus spoke bitterly through the portal.

Tobias is startled by this, as he looks at the train window, where he sees Vexacus appearing.

“Uh…this is strange. Hi Vex, been a while. How is that curse doing for you?” Tobias taunted to him, laughing.

Vexacus then growls, and jumps right through the portal window, appearing on the train. The passengers panic, confused by what is happening. He holds out his sword, ready to strike. Tobias doesn’t attack back however.

“Hold on Vex, I have an offer for you. Sadly, all of my plans to rule Posidonia have been failing, mostly thanks to those magic weirdos getting in my way. But perhaps, you could help me defeat them. You’ve had more experience against them! If you help me, I’ll remove the curse I placed on you. Think about it, we could rule together, and I can free you from your misery…” Tobias bargained to Vexacus, showing the Dutchman Blade.

Vexacus thinks over Tobias’ offer, but quickly sees Tobias is using him and will stab him in the back.

“You moron, don’t you get it? I want to move on from everything Karmania and Posidonia related! I want to go back to my normal life as a bounty hunter, which you ruined!” Vexacus replied.

“How unfortunate then! Looks like we’ll have to settle this once and for all right here!” Tobias yelled, holding the Dutchman Blade, ready to fight, while the passengers are worried.

“Alright, whatever you two creeps are about to do, I’m breaking this up right here-” a worker was saying, about to step in.

Tobias dashes right at the worker, knocking him down, as he speeds into the next train cart. Vexacus chases after him, firing his laser gun at Tobias. He keeps speeding around, as the laser blasts hit objects on the dining tables, sending them flying everywhere, as the passengers scream.

Meanwhile, Jake, Madison and Drew carefully walk along their temple room. There is a mountain path leading to a mysterious, blue portal at the top. Two golem statues are seen in the room, and there is an ominous aura in the air. Drew acts as if he recognizes the area almost. The three carefully walk across the room. The white Karmanian Deer then walks forward, surprising the three.

“You again? It’s been a while…” Jake said to the white deer.

“…You know that deer?” Drew asked.

“Yeah, it usually leads us to anything Cameron related, so we should follow it.” Jake replied.

“Wow, you all had the craziest adventures while I was in prison…” Drew said.

They give chase after the white Karmanian Deer, as it runs up the mountain path. Suddenly, Drew steps on a tile, which activates the two golem statues. They come to life, glowing blue and purple. They begin to lock laser blasts onto the three, ready to blast them. Madison transforms herself with the heart, and Jake powers up. A laser blast is fired by one of the golems, and Jake uses his red shield to stop it, protecting Drew.

“Thanks Jake. Never thought I’d see the day where you saved me.” Drew said.

“Neither did I.” Jake replied.

Madison sends a lightning blast right at one of the golem’s eyes, blinding it. Suddenly, a growling noise is heard from behind them. Three large, dark hyena beast creatures come running out of the shadows, charging at the three. Drew is shocked upon seeing them.

“What are those!?” Drew asked nervously, as they growl viciously.

“More obstacles, that’s for sure!” Jake replied, pointing his sword at the hyenas, trying to protect Drew from them.

“I’ll take care of the golems, you take care of those things!” Madison said to Jake, as she flies around, trying to distract the golems.

The hyenas run around Jake and Drew. Drew holds out his handgun and fires blasts at the hyenas, missing them. He fires another blast, hitting a hyena, wounding it. Jake then slashes his sword at it, as it disappears into the shadows.

“Jake, behind you!” Drew yelled, concerned.

Jake quickly turns around, avoiding a charging hyena. He then sends a red gum blast from his stone at the ground, causing the hyena to get stuck. Drew then transforms into his Dragnarian form and jumps at a hyena beast, wrestling with it. He then fires a blast from his arm gun right through the beast, making it vanish into the shadows. Jake then sends a red slash from his sword, knocking the hyena he made get stuck go flying off, sliding across the floor, but it does not vanish into the shadows. Madison takes a deep breath, concentrates and transforms into her light elemental form. She quickly flies, avoiding laser blasts from both golems, as they keep moving. She sends light electric blasts at both golems, ripping them to pieces, as pebbles fall everywhere. The three regroup near the mountain path. Drew makes his Dragnarian form go away, as he goes back to normal.

“Well, that wasn’t as challenging as I thought it’d be.” Madison said.

“Let’s keep going, before something else comes.” Jake said, as they are about to walk up the mountain path.

Suddenly, the last remaining hyena gets up, and looks at Drew from the shadows, growling. It charges right at Drew, grabbing him with its jaw, and swinging him around.

“AAAAAHHHH, NO!” Drew yelled, trying to fire his handgun at it, but misses.

“Drew!” Both Madison and Jake yelled.

The hyena continues to maul Drew to death, as they send attacks at the hyena. It gets hit, as it lets go of Drew, sending him falling to the floor. Jake stabs his sword right through the hyena, making it vanish into the shadows. Jake and Madison both go to Drew, who is on the verge of death.

“We have to get help!” Madison said, worried.

“No…it’s too late for me now. Perhaps this was my destiny. You all fought to the end for me, and…I’ll never forget that.” Drew said, coughing.

“Starting to think coming here was a mistake…” Madison said sadly.

“We were meant to be here. And I think Drew knew what his fate would be. I think…there was more to your premonition dreams.” Jake realized, as Drew nods.

“Whether if we were meant to be here or not, you are now the most important people in getting Cameron back. Save him, for me…” Drew said in his last dying breath, as he passes away.

“We won’t let your sacrifice be in vein. I think…he’s at peace now. Let’s save Cameron.” Jake said, as him and Madison continue up the mountain.

Meanwhile, Vexacus continues to chase Tobias across the moving train carts. Tobias then quickly jumps up a ladder, taking him to the roof. Vexacus chases after him, and also appears on the roof. Tobias fires his handgun at Vexacus, who deflects the blasts with his sword. He then jumps up and tackles Tobias. Vexacus punches Tobias multiple times, as Tobias takes the hits, and punches back. Tobias then throws a smoke bomb at Vexcus’ face, and throws him off. He then speeds down the train’s top, as Vexacus fires his laser blasts at him.

“Let’s see who is the superior swordsman once and for all!” Tobias yelled, speeding right back to Vexacus, and swinging the Dutchman Blade against Vexacus’ sword.

The two keep clashing swords, as Tobias speeds around Vexacus, trying to get him off guard. Suddenly, Vexacus strikes his sword through one of Tobias’ loops. He slashes the Dutchman Blade in half, and sends both pieces flying into the air, making Tobias gasp. The green curse aura leaves Vexacus’ body, as he smiles smugly at Tobias. Tobias then tries to speed away, but Vexacus throws rope right at Tobias, tripping him. He goes falling off the train, landing in the desert plains. Vexacus jumps off the train, and lands onto the sandy ground, approaching Tobias. Tobias rips open the rope, and gets up, holding out his gun.

“You may have bested me in swords, but let’s see how we do in guns. We’re going to end this long grudge right here and now, Vex. With only our guns, western shootout style.” Tobias said, having enough.

“Fine. At the count of three, we fire.” Vexacus said, readying his laser gun.

The two stand across from each other, both anxious and nervous on how this will end.

“One…”

“Two…”

“THREE!” Both yell.

Vexacus and Tobias both fire their guns at once. There is a pause. Tobias then looks at his chest to see a blast through it, shocking him. Vexacus was unscathed. Tobias falls to the ground, dead.

“Goodbye.” Vexacus said bitterly to him, happy.

Vexacus walks through the desert plains, and comes across an obscure village. Vexacus meets a group of bounty hunters in the village, wearing lots of fancy gear.

“What brings you here, stranger?” one of the bounty hunters asked.

“I can tell someone’s been doing some soul searching for somethin’.” another one of them said, having a drink.

“Indeed. I am Vexacus. I know you are bounty hunters like me. I would like to join your group, if I am worthy. If not, I will continue on my path with nothing lost.” Vexacus said, bowing to them.

“Sounds like you just had a kill from that noise we heard over yonder. You’re in. You look like you got the stuff to me, friend.” another bounty hunter said, as he shakes Vexacus’s hand.

The bounty hunters welcome Vexacus into their group. Vexacus goes off with the group of bounty hunters, finally content with his life.

Back in the temple, Madison and Jake keep carefully walking up the mountain path. It begins to shake, as the path rips apart, splitting into many pieces. Madison flies upward, as Jake jumps from one platform to another. They both reach the top, where the white Karmanian Deer is, looking at the blue portal. The blue portal shows Cameron on Atlaxia, meditating

“Cameron!” Jake and Madison both yell to him through the portal, as he wakes up.

He looks at the two in front of him, shocked.

“How did you…” Cameron was saying.

Jake then reaches out his hand through the portal. Cameron grabs it, as Jake pulls him into the portal, taking him into the temple. They are finally reunited with him. Cameron also still has his vision back.

“Thank you two, for everything. I’ve missed being in the team.” Cameron said, looking at the white deer.

“I never thought I’d see this day, but you’re really here again…” Jake said to Cameron, as the two shake hands.

“How was being protector of the universe?” Madison asked.

“Not as interesting as you’d think. But I did see quite a lot of interesting things through the portals. I also had a run-in with an alien that made me get stranded there in the first place, which wasn’t fun, but I fulfilled my destiny, as have you two.” Cameron explained.

“After everything, we’re just happy to have you back. Everyone will be so happy to see you again.” Jake said.

“I take it he helped you.” Cameron said, looking at the white deer.

“No, Drew led us here. He had dreams telling us you were in danger. It was all thanks to him you’re back.” Jake explained.

“Drew…I need to thank him, wherever he is.” Cameron said, as this makes Madison and Jake sad.

Madison then flies down and is about to grab Drew’s body. The room then begins to shake, as it flashes white. Jake, Cameron, Madison, Ramos and Tom all reappear outside the temple. Confetti then shoots into the area, thanks to Joe’s magic powers.

“You all did it, great job! The temple's magical power saw your intent to bring Cameron back, and it fulfilled that wish.” Joe said, clapping, as does Tom.

Madison flies around, seeing Drew’s body nearby. She grabs it and picks it up.

“Hey, what happened to shark face?” Ramos asked, looking around for Vexacus.

“I guess he finally moved on. Good for him.” Jake said.

“Wait, where’s the other guy?” Joe asked, looking for Drew.

Jake isn’t sure how to respond, looking sad. Madison then flies towards the group, holding Drew’s dead body. Cameron sees this, shocking and upsetting him.

“…Oh no…” Cameron said mournfully.

“He died, honorably…” Madison said, laying Drew’s body down.

“If it wasn’t for him, we never would’ve come here to save you.” Jake revealed.

“Dang…that is a bummer. I’ll give the dude an honorary memorial.” Joe said.

“Let’s take this moment to honor him. Then, we must move on. He would’ve wanted us to complete our mission.” Cameron said strongly.

Joe uses his magic to surround Drew’s body in a special coffin. He then levitates the coffin, placing it in a golden river, as it floats down the stream. Cameron, Jake, Madison, Ramos and Tom all mournfully look as Drew’s body floats down the stream.

“Goodbye, Drew.” Cameron said, saluting him.

The gang heads back toward Wishy Joe’s palace.

“That was a depressing way to end your adventure, but thankfully, you all learned valuable lessons from this experience.” Tom said.

“And what were those lessons?” Madison asked.

“Jake and Madison learned to have trust in how destiny will play out, and that it is best to let it take course. Vexacus learned to confront your demons and let go of the past. Drew learned that being selfless will save others. And Ramos here learned one of the most pressing lessons. That in order to erase our misdeeds, we must accept the losses of the seeds who planted them to begin with, or something like that.” Joe revealed.

“No, actually, it just made me realize I need to work even harder to fix my family legacy. I saw how Jake and Madison were in that temple…they were unstoppable! And so am I!” Ramos revealed.

“Wait, what?“ Joe and Tom both replied, confused.

“As I stared into that void, I hatched a plan that will allow me to see my family again…and let Tom reunite with his father. I’m going to summon the mighty being…Malgus.” Ramos revealed to Tom, shocking him.

Malgus is shown floating in another dimension, which is a black void. Malgus is a giant, terrifying, dark green chimera creature with many mystical blocks surrounding him. He has shadow dragon wings and four large eyes. He is in a sitting position, just sitting in his void ominously and silently.

“…Dad?” Tom asked, gulping and intrigued by Ramos’ plan.

Well hot damn, this episode was really that dark tho, especially the twist ending. I really liked Vex's storyline comes to the end, and so does Ramos' storyline.

I was glad to see Cam to be back, but i'm sad to see Drew died.

this is very sad way to end this, and I hope this next episode is gonna be more interesting.

Oh god, from beginning to end, that episode kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved everything about the temple quest, as Madison, Jake, Drew, Ramos and Vexacus (particularly the latter three) confronted their individual destinies. But god, Drew's death took me out! Such a sad scene! Vexacus offing Tobias and then joining a group of bounty hunters seemed pretty par for the course of what he dreamed, so that's that. Jake and Madison rescuing Cameron though, was the complete highlight of all of this. I am so glad that Cam's back, and I can't wait to see how the rest of the team reacts. And oh boy, let's hope Ramos hasn't done some dumb shit by summoning this Malgus character. Here we go, the beginning of the end......

128. Gideonia

Meritel is seen riding in a Karmanian army plane with Orion and two soldiers. The plane flies past Outland Karmania, heading right to Mystery Kingdom, which looks much different than it did before. Mystery Kingdom has transformed into a large city state thanks to Gideon’s work. The buildings resemble Central Karmania’s, but much more advanced and grim. Many signs, posters and banners are plastered around, calling the kingdom “Gideonia” now. Tons of artificially made Karmanian creatures and civilians are seen walking around the city state. Weapons and vehicles are being set up around. The civilians are training and preparing for war, as they do sword exercises in the streets.

“Alright Orion, now!” Meritel ordered.

“On it, ma’am!” Orion replied.

Orion holds out an advanced camera made by Zero, trying to get it working.

“I wish I knew how to work these newfangled inventions…” Orion said.

He manages to get it working, and takes many photos of Gideonia.

Meritel is seen in a castle room, analyzing the photos with several soldiers in the room. She rubs a photo in a tray of water, allowing her to see the image clearly, as she hangs it up on a wire amongst the other photos Orion took.

“Excellent, these pictures will help us decipher what sort of forces Gideon has amassed before we mobilize the soldiers.” Meritel said, looking at an elderly general in the room.

“What’s that, dear?” The elderly general asked.

“These pictures will help us find out-“ Meritel was saying.

“I’m glad there’s going to be a proper war before I push up daisies! Wipe ‘em out!” The elderly general said happily.

"Madame, you know we could just use Professor Zero's tech to get results sooner-" a soldier said.

"This war concerns my kingdom, I prefer to do things the old fashioned way." Meritel replied.

Elana then opens the room’s door, letting light in.

“Hey mom-“ Elana was saying, as Meritel gasps.

The light makes the image on the photo Meritel had in the tray of water fade out.

“Elana, you’ve tampered with our intelligence!” Meritel replied, somewhat annoyed.

“Sorry, but I have something urgent to tell you.” Elana said.

She breathes in.

“…I don’t think going to war with your brother is a good idea.” Elana said bluntly to Meritel.

“I don’t have any choice. By building an army, he’s forcing the kingdom’s hand.” Meritel said.

“But I’m the queen, no offense. I should get to make the final decision for this. Besides, I’ve learned very fast from Karmania’s history that these wars do nothing good for anyone.” Elana replied.

“As your mother, I believe this is for the best, I’m sorry. I love your spirited heart daughter, but sometimes we have to buckle down and do things the hard way. Excuse me…” Meritel replied, as she walks out of the room.

“It’s gonna happen, highness. Best thing to do is sharpen your sword and stock up on emergency food…” the elderly general said, also walking out of the room with his soldiers.

“…You’re dark, general.” Elana said, as she walks out as well.

Elana sees from a window how several wagons are being armored with heavy armor, and several soldiers are also putting on advanced armor. There are catapults being loaded with weaponized Bananamelons as well. She sighs, knowing war is inevitable.

Outside the castle, Cameron is seen with the rest of the knights, guardians and Ranen. They are happy he is back.

"Never thought I'd see the day. Welcome back, Rhodes." Ranen said to him.

“Wow, the gang is all here. Feels like forever since that happened.” Trent said.

“It’s great to be back with the team.” Cameron said, shaking the knights’ hands.

“Aye, I’ve missed ye laddy. How were your inter-dimensional travels?” Flinn inquired.

“They could’ve been more exciting, but it felt honorable to protect a legendary and sacred world while it lasted.” Cameron said.

“It feels weird seeing you with proper eyesight again. I got so used to the wise, blinded warrior you.” Nick said.

“I must admit, the team felt it was missing a crucial component without Cameron’s presence. I am happy to see you have returned.” Zero said.

“I agree, the team wasn’t the same without you man. I missed you, as surprising as it is for me to say that.” Cynthia said to him.

“Our time together on the team got briefly cut short, but through a divine miracle, you are back to amend that time. I’ll never forget the day you helped me turn good.” Skipper said to Cameron contently.

“I never got to know you much since I joined late, but I’m glad you’re back too, Cameron.” Roxy said.

The heroes then see Elana walk out of the castle, approaching them, as she looks annoyed.

“Looks like your talk didn’t go well.” Cynthia noted.

“It was no good. This kingdom is on the road to war, and unfortunately, she’s kind of ignored my authority for everyone’s “safety”.” Elana explained to them.

“Your own mother undermining your authority, that’s kind of cold of her…” Trent said.

"Not even I can convince your mother otherwise, my apologies highness." Ranen said to Elana.

Elana looks over to see several beasts being armored with weapons and armor, as more catapults and wagons get weaponized. Two armored beasts are seen fighting each other, smashing at each other’s armor. Several civilians, beasts and soldiers watch this.

“Take this, weird face!” The first beast said, punching the other beast.

“Take this…weird face!” The other beast said, as they keep wrestling.

“The whole kingdom is going to get caught up in this war mentality. It’s going too far. It’s up to us to fix things with my uncle Gideon.” Elana explained to them.

“Uh, the same guy who tried to kill us with demons made out of Audrey’s baby teeth?” Tori reminded.

“Yeah, I’m still not happy about that.” Audrey replied, annoyed.

“And the same guy who sent the Grizzlgo to attack your soldiers?” Roxy reminded.

“And the same guy that ruined Madison’s 18th birthday party?” Cynthia reminded.

“I know, I know, he’s done crazy and evil things, but…I want to try to make things right. He’s still family, maybe I can get through to him.” Elana said to them.

“An honorable task, but his feud with Meritel dates back to decades ago. The odds of you resolving that are slim, specifically a 32.6% chance.” Zero said, as he calculated.

“Even with the odds, someone has to try. I’m going to head over to Gideonia on a last-ditch diplomatic mission. Jake and Madison can go with me since they’re both the leaders, if they want.” Elana offered.

“I’ll go. I can see Madectrison there, and we have some unfinished business…” Madison realized.

“Yeah, I’m fine with going. I’ve become open to reasoning with our enemies, realizing you can’t always fight them to resolve conflicts.” Jake said.

“You’re just going with them?” Roxy asked.

“If we all went, Gideon would think we’re attacking, so only a few of us should go. Although if he wants, Cameron can go too, since he’s wise and all. He could be helpful in resolving this matter.” Elana explained.

“I know barely anything about Gideon since I just got back, but sure, I’ll help you however I can. It’s the least I can do.” Cameron replied, agreeing.

“Good luck guys. Hopefully when you come back, we’re not in the middle of an all out war.” Cynthia said somewhat sarcastically, but also nervously.

Elana, Madison, Jake and Cameron all head out. They later make their way into Gideonia, surprised at how built up and advanced it is. They see smoke spewing out of industrial buildings ahead.

“Someone sure had a lot of time on their hands…” Elana said, as they walk down a street.

“Yeah, I’m amazed too. This place used to be nothing but an old battlefield with junk everywhere, and now look at it…” Madison said.

“When you’re ambitious, you’ll do whatever it takes to fulfill your dream.” Cameron said, looking around at the buildings and war machines.

They walk through Gideonia, approaching the capital entrance ahead. Around the rock wall are several turret towers spewing industrial smoke out of them. Beyond it shows the ziggurat, which has been transformed to resemble a castle, and has become the heart of the kingdom now.

“You know, it’s weird. A year ago, I had nothing to do with magical world stuff and was just a teenage girl in high school. Now I’m a queen and going on a diplomatic mission to stop war between two kingdoms.” Elana realized, never thought she’d be in this position.

“You’ve grown so much.” Madison said, impressed.

As the four walk down the path…

“Halt!” Madectrison’s voice yelled, startling them.

“Gideon?” Elana asked, looking around.

They then look forward, as Madectrison walks out of the main ziggurat entrance, standing tall in her Blue Angel form.

None shall pass…” Madectrison said.

“Madectrison…” Madison said angrily.

“Stay calm.” Jake reminded, as Madison sighs.

“Okay. I don’t want to fight, we’re just here to see your boss!” Madison said to Madectrison, as she walks forward up the path.

Madectrison walks right toward Madison, standing tall over her.

“Madectrison, I know we have beef but let’s just talk. I didn’t even know you were alive…” Madison was saying.

“Haha, you thought you had beaten me? ME!?” Madectrison asked, igniting an electric sword in her right hand.

She sends the electric sword flying forward, as Madison sends an electric blast back, blocking it. Elana then quickly hands Madison the Shadow Sword, which she uses to block another attack from Madectrison’s electric sword.

“Cool sword.” Madectrison said briefly, as she resumes attacking, and Madison keeps dueling against her with the Shadow Sword.

Jake, Cameron and Elana stay behind, watching the battle unfold. From above, Dolly watches the fighting through a window. Madison holds back, not trying to fight Madectrison further, as her electric sword keeps missing.

“Madectrison, stop!” Madison tried to reason with her, but Madectrison is still bent on defeating her.

Madectrison then forms the blue ax, and sends it smashing into the ground. She then sends her electric sword clashing right against the Shadow Sword.

“I used to want to be you, now I’m a better you! I proved it! There’s nothing you have that I don’t!” Madectrison said, making the helmet open up to show her face.

Jake, Cameron and Elana then send attacks at Madectrison, sending her flying to the ground.

“Thanks guys.” Madison said.

“Girls, girls, stop all this roughhousing!” Dolly said, standing on a level right above them.

“Huh…yes Aunt Dolly…” Madectrison said disappointed.

“Aunt Dolly…hey, she kind of sounds like my mom, and I mean Susan by mom.” Madison realized.

“Hey! She was my mom too!” Madectrison reminded, looking bitter.

“I know, we’re like family! So why are we fighting?” Madison asked to her.

Madectrison isn’t sure how to respond. She make the helmet reseal her face, as she silently walks backwards through the entrance, disappearing into the shadows.

“Sorry about her. Now what’s a sweet group like you doing here?” Dolly asked, walking down the stairs.

“We’re here to stop this ridiculous war. This whole thing is crazy, right?” Elana explained to her.

“…Between you and me honey, I don’t want war either.” Dolly said to Elana, placing her hand on her shoulder.

Dolly escorts the four down the dark ziggurat hall.

“Gideon is becoming so paranoid and erratic! All he talks about is finishing that wretched, wretched machine! Maybe you could talk some sense into him, you are his niece…” Dolly said to Elana.

She takes them to the end of the hall, where several large murals of Gideon are seen painted against the walls. They show him in various forms of battle armor and wardrobe. A “G” door is in front of them, which Dolly heads to a technologically advanced panel to open.

“Someone has an ego.” Madison noted, seeing the murals.

“Did you say he’s making a machine?” Jake asked.

They enter the next room, where Cecil is seen doing a painting. Gideon is in front of him riding a dummy horse model. The painting shows Gideon riding a majestic horse, crushing Meritel and Elana on the battlefield.

“Oh no, a breach! But my sacred plan was to never die!” Cecil panicked, as he runs away.

“So…it begins.” Gideon realized, as he presses a button on his left arm’s silver arm gauntlet, sounding an alarm throughout the ziggurat.

“Wait, we mean no harm…” Elana was saying.

“Gideon! They’re just here to talk…” Dolly said, walking forward to Gideon, and presses a button that turns off the alarm.

“TRAITOR!” Gideon yelled, holding his silver gauntlet.

“I think we can trust them!” Dolly said.

She then begins to whisper something into Gideon’s ear, as the heroes try to overhear this. She looks over at them and continues whispering something.

“I’ll hear your case, my niece. But I’ve got a busy day ahead. We’ll have to walk and talk.” Gideon said to her, willing to hear her out, as he gets off the model horse.

Dolly smiles and gives the heroes a thumbs up, as Gideon walks off. Elana, Jake, Madison and Cameron follow Gideon down another large ziggurat hall.

“My mom doesn’t want to attack you, and honestly, neither do I. We are family.” Elana said to Gideon.

“Yeah, just look at this secret laboratory you have, that’s something you’d find in Central Karmania. Or at least a more magical, older version of it, and without all the inventions.” Madison said, seeing Gideon’s laboratory.

Gideon then closes the door and holds out several photos showing Central Karmania.

“Then why is she building up your arms?” Gideon asked to Elana, showing photos of Meritel talking to the soldiers, along with equipping them with better armor and weapons.

The heroes look at the photos, not sure how to respond.

“Well, he’s not wrong there.” Jake said awkwardly.

“You see this? This is your mother forcing my hand!” Gideon said to Elana, as he uses his right arm to grab his left arm, shaking it.

“That’s exactly what she’s saying! You’re both so unreasonable…” Elana replied back, annoyed.

Gideon walks into another room where his powerful machine is being built, showing the heroes it.

“You want unreasonable? Get a load of my unreasonably bad boy battle mech automaton!” Gideon said, as a fancy giant silver and purple mech robot is seen standing up before them, under construction.

“That’s…quite a robot…” Madison said, as the heroes stare at it.

“Its name is…The Pulverizer! My sister would never have the ambition for a project like this, since she’s stuck in her old magical ways of the past! But ambition and innovation are both my whole deals! You want a closer look, Elana and friends? I’ll grant it to you.” Gideon explained.

The five are on a wooden platform, which is being lifted up by a rope mechanism. The platform lets them observe The Pulverizer closer, as it keeps moving upward.

“This magnificent machine will make the whole war relatively swift and painless!” Gideon explained to the heroes.

“…So there truly is nothing that I can say to change your mind.” Elana accepted, looking annoyed.

“My sister has made her bed, and now she must lie in it. But not get back up, because she’ll be DEAD! Bahahahaha!” Gideon laughed.

“I was wrong about you. You’re nothing like my mother…” Elana realized.

“Wait, she’ll be pulverized into the ground, because she’ll be DEAD! The Pulverizer makes her DEAD!” Gideon said, putting unusual emphasis.

After saying that, the platform then leans over, as one of the ropes has been cut.

“Whoa!” The five all yelled, about to fall.

“What the!?” Gideon said nervously, confused on what’s happening.

Madison holds onto Jake and Cameron, preventing them from falling, as she tries to fly. Elana almost falls but uses her light powers to make her float up, regaining her balance. However, Gideon is the only one who is not safe, as he goes falling toward the ground.

“NO! No no no!” Gideon panicked, as he keeps falling, about to hit the ground.

Elana then floats and grabs him, safely reaching the ground with him. Madison flies down with Jake and Cameron.

“Ow, ow, ow…” Jake said, trying to adjust his back, feeling it is hurt due to the almost fall.

“…You could’ve let me die, and saved your mother a lot of trouble…” Gideon said surprised to Elana.

“Well yeah, I’m not heartless. You’re still my uncle, and I want to have a happy family again.” Elana replied.

“Maybe…there is a way to coexist after all.” Gideon realized.

The heroes are surprised by this realization of his.

“Sweet, that’s what I like to hear!” Elana, happy her plan worked.

“Looks like you didn’t need my wisdom after all for this.” Cameron said, proud of her.

“If only a lot of our past villain encounters went this way, so much chaos could’ve been avoided.” Elana joked.

They all begin to laugh. Madectrison is seen sneaking up above, holding a blue ax. She overhears their laughing, and fades back into the shadows.

Gideon, Dolly, Cecil, Elana, Jake, Cameron and Madison are then seen in a fancy dining room. They are at the table laughing together. Elana is telling a story to Gideon, Dolly and Cecil.

“So then it turned out those two store owners actually worked for the Federation the whole time!” Elana was saying, referring to Doyle and Van Gordon.

“No!” Gideon said, interested in her story.

“They got me to join Ramos’ side, and while I spent a few weeks hating my friends, those two dudes got fired for giving him snow cones!” Elana said, as this makes everyone laugh.

“That story was as funny as me! The funny one!” Cecil said, bragging.

“Thanks Cecil. But if I could get serious for a second-“ Elana was saying.

“No need, niece. Your actions have said more than words ever could. Cecil, fetch the celebration bucket!” Gideon said to Cecil, as he goes off to get it.

“I declare all hostilities between Gideonia and Central Karmania…over!” Gideon announced, pressing a button on his metal gauntlet glove, making confetti appear in the dining room.

Jake, Madison, Elana and Cameron cheer, happy with this news.

“Wow, we ended a conflict without any violence, impressive!” Madison said.

“Celebration bucket!” Cecil said, splashing a bucket of a green substance onto Jake, Cameron and Madison, but it does not get on Elana.

Jake, Cameron and Madison’s bodies begin to sparkle.

“Neat.” Jake said.

“Be sure to give Meritel a big hug from me when you tell her!” Gideon said.

“You guys are goofy.” Elana said, laughing.

Madison then tries to shake off the green substance from her hair, which worries Gideon and Dolly. Gideon shields himself with his silver cape, blocking the substance from getting on him. The rest of it then gets all over Cecil, who panics. Gideon and Dolly look at him nervously, as Cecil’s body begins to sparkle and move weirdly.

“…Don’t look at me!” Cecil panicked.

He runs into another room, closing the wooden door behind. A familiar magic smoke cloud comes out from the bottom of the door, as he has transformed back into Gelatos. Cameron looks at this suspiciously, but isn’t sure what to say.

“Now there’s a guy who really…cares about his hair!” Dolly said, trying to cover it up.

“Oh Cousin Cecil!” Elana, Madison, and Jake all said at once, while Cameron gets up oddly.

“Man, I almost thought that was something really serious for a second. Good thing that amounted to nothing.” Madison said.

“Yeah, nothing. I think we should get going now…” Cameron said to them, having a bad feeling.

He looks at Gideon and Dolly suspiciously. He then looks at Jake and Madison’s sparkling bodies, and then looks at his own. He gets a suspicious feeling, as they leave the room. Gideon and Dolly wave to them from behind.

The four return to Central Karmania. Jake then talks to Cameron privately as Elana and Madison make their way up to the castle.

“Hey, did you sense something suspicious…back there?” Jake asked Cameron.

“I did. Something about what happened with Cecil seemed…off, but whatever happened, it wasn’t something I recognized.” Cameron said.

“Between you and me…I felt it too. My stone is telling me we’re still in danger, but I don’t know how…” Jake said curiously.

My stone is telling me too. Something about this feels too easy. I don’t think we’re out of trouble yet, be on guard.” Cameron said, looking around.

He looks at his sparkling body again, as he tries to rub off the glitter. They keep walking, and reach the castle with Elana and Madison. The four present the signed peace treaty to Meritel, Orion, the guardians and knights.

“Wow, you guys actually did it without any chaos. I’m impressed.” Skipper said, applauding.

“I don’t believe it, a signed peace treaty!? Elana, you’re amazing, I could hug you right now…” Meritel was saying.

She stops and sees how Jake, Cameron and Madison have a sparkling substance on their bodies.

“Did you stop at a magical craft store on the way back?” Meritel asked, confused.

“I was wondering what that sparkling was about too.” Audrey said, curious.

“Oh, the glitter juice. It’s part of a weird Gideonia treaty signing ritual or something.” Madison said, shrugging.

“Here, I’ll clean that off of you, free of charge!” Orion said determined.

Orion then grabs a towel, as he begins to rub the substance off of Jake, Madison and Cameron’s bodies.

“Uh, thanks…” Jake said awkwardly.

“You know, once I got to know him, your brother was actually not a bad guy. As I’ve gotten older and spent more time being the ruler of this kingdom, I’ve realized them most important thing is to empathize with my friends and enemies. We can coexist instead of going to war and battling losers all the time.” Elana explained to Meritel.

“That is so touching to hear. Maybe our family can be healed after all…“ Meritel pondered.

Zero then begins to analyze the substance on Jake, Madison and Cameron’s bodies with his scanners. He then gasps upon realizing what the substance is.

“Orion, get away from that towel!” Zero yelled to him at once, as Orion wrings out the towel.

“What?” Orion asked, confused, as it’s too late.

The leftover monster juice gets on him. A magic smoke cloud then transforms Orion into a goat Karmanian beast. The heroes are all startled by this.

“…Didn’t see that one coming.” Nick said curiously.

“…Orion?” Meritel asked, as he is now a goofy monster.

“That doesn’t look right…” Elana said, realizing what’s happening.

“Baaaa!” Orion said in his new form, as he happily rolls around, acting like a goofy goat.

Meritel then double checks and sniffs the glitter substance from Madison.

“…He’s been doused with Gideon’s monster potion! GIDEON!” Meritel yelled, very furious.

A ground slug pokes its head out of the ground, wearing a “G” outfit. It had been overhearing their conversation and now realizes war is official. It then digs back underground, going back to Gideonia to report this.

“…So much for Gideon being “not a bad guy”, huh.” Tori said, as Elana feels betrayed.

“…Great, betrayed again by someone pretending to like me. I’m not even shocked by this point.” Elana said, sighing.

“That’s rough…” Audrey said, feeling bad.

“Hey, at least you tried to resolve things peacefully. It was worth a try. You’ve come a long way.” Cynthia said, trying to cheer Elana up.

Meritel then walks into the castle, making Elana worried.

“Wait, where are you going?” Elana asked, but it’s too late, as Meritel has made up her mind.

Meritel goes to the top of a balcony, and sounds an alarm.

“Central Karmania citizens, we are going to war, approved by Queen Elana!” Meritel decreed, as the announcement loudly echoes across the kingdom.

Everyone hears this across the kingdom. In the village below, the civilians and beasts begin to panic. Several civilians grab weapons from an armory room in the castle, as they rush out of it, ready to fight.

“My first war…okay Steele, breathe in and out. You can do this!” Steele said determined.

“Hoop de doo, hoop de hay! Yippie, let’s chop em up boys!” The elderly general said, waving his sword around, excited for battle.

The heroes watch this from above, looking disappointed and concerned.

“On the…somewhat bright side, we’ve never actually been in a Karmania war before, so this could be an interesting experience…or a horrible, brutal one. Maybe an odd mix of both. Huh, that wasn’t as bright as I’d thought it’d be. Even my comedic relief didn’t cheer me up this time…” Nick said, unsure how to feel.

“I messed up…” Elana sighed, feeling responsible for this, as Cynthia and Roxy try to comfort her.

Back at Gideonia, the ground slug runs its way to the ziggurat. Madectrison is standing on guard outside, and sees the ground slug approaching.

“Don’t halt. Continue running. I command it.” Madectrison said, allowing it to enter the ziggurat hall.

Gideon is seen meeting with several shady, familiar figures in his fancy meeting room.

“My thanks to you all for joining me today. Enjoying the snacks?” Gideon asked to the guests.

The ground slug runs up the chair and onto Gideon’s shoulder. It then whispers to him what happened.

“It seems that the queen and my sister avoided our attempt at a peaceful resolution. But it was still a good plan…Aunt Dolly.” Gideon said, looking at her as she sits in a chair across from him.

A flashback shows Gideon with Elana, Jake, Cameron and Madison on the rising platform, observing The Pulverizer.

“This magnificent machine will make the whole war relatively swift and painless!” Gideon was saying to the heroes.

Dolly is shown above holding an ax, ready to cut the rope raising they are on, revealing she is what caused it to fall in the first place.

“Eh, I love to plan.” Dolly said happily.

“Hey! What’s a plan?” Gelatos asked, happily sitting in his chair.

“Oh Cousin Cecil, you’ve still got it! Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to unleash plan B: My formidable legion of…CENTRAL KARMANIA HATERS!” Gideon announced, about to reveal a roster of past villains in the room.

“Skorpos!”, showing him back in his original form.

“Maximus Tong!”, showing him with a new helmet and repaired staff.

“Chamelos!”, showing him appearing out of his camouflage.

“Brewtanizer!”, showing him with new battle gear.

“Frostbite!”, showing him smiling evilly.

“Gamergator!”, showing him with his arms crossed, nodding.

“Lester the Irritating!”, showing him smugly lying across a couch.

“Viktor!”, showing him holding his staff.

“Slypox!”, showing him holding up both his blade arms, ready to fight.

“The Blue Angel!”, showing Madectrison with an electric sword in her right arm ignited.

“And finally…Diggy the mole.” Gideon finished, showing Diggy awkwardly sitting on a fancy armchair in the corner.

“Uh…I think I might be here by mistake. I thought this was supposed to be an esteemed salesmen meeting. What are we doing again?” Diggy asked, confused.

“We’re having a kingdom war.” Gideon declared boldly, ready for war with Central Karmania.

Notes/Trivia:

-The Mystery Kingdom (aka War Fields) has been transformed into Gideonia.

-A ground slug (first seen in “Crawlies”) appears again, working for Gideon.

-The story Elana tells Gideon, Dolly and Cecil references the events of “Deception” and “Icebound”.

-Gideon being focused on technology and innovation, and Meritel still sticking to the old, traditional magical ways, caps off the spin-off’s reoccurring theme of magic vs technology.

-Cecil transforms back into Gelatos.

-

Orion gets transformed into a goat beast thanks to Gideon’s monster serum.

-

Spoiler

I thought this episode is interesting as seeing Elana and the gang trying to reslove to stop the war from happening, but of course Gideon has always has backup plan. I'm legit shocked Aunt Dolly's plan did mangeed to lure the heroes. The past villains has return (and Diggy for some reasons which i find it funny) to fight for the kindom war. I'm excited for series finale and sad at the sad time.

Here we go: the final battle for the last time ever.

Nice work! I want to start by saying that I appreciated Elana's attempts to solve things peacefully, and she sure has come a long way since season 1, even if her trust in people can still be a bit shoddy. The twist with Aunt Dolly cutting the rope was pretty good, and it seems the entire time Gideon really had no plans to stop the war before it started, which is incredibly disappointing, but hopefully he can still be reached. The ending was so hype, though! Villains from the past assembled for the final showdown! This is gonna be good. But OH NO, the finale is next, and I'll have to accept that the show is truly going to end. Once again, you've made me fall in love with an action packed show filled with so much adventure, and I'm gonna miss it forever.

129. Say Goodbye: Part One

Posidonia is shown in the distant future, 40 years later. The country has become much more technologically advanced than it was before. However, several parts of the country now have Karmanian areas in them, indicating that Posidonia and parts of Karmania fused together again sometime in the future. A boy and a girl travel through the grasslands near Posidonia Fields, which are mixed with Karmanian aesthetics and look much duller in color. Several old Karmanian structures and houses are seen around the plains.

“Ah, another fun day of scavenging the remains of Posidonia, Nicole!” Matthew said to the girl by his side, who is Nicole.

“Be careful out here, Matt.” Nicole reminded.

“We’ll be fine.” Matthew replied.

Suddenly, they feel vibrations from around, as the ground shakes. Matthew and Nicole look out into the open fields, to see a gold, giant robot walking across them, acting as a guardian. Two flying soldiers are seen flying in the air by the giant’s side. One of them is a Central Karmanian in advanced cyber gear, and another is a Federation soldier in advanced cyber gear.

“The Posidonia Wanderer is back! Let’s get him!” Matthew proposed to Nicole.

Matthew sees a boulder nearby, and a dead tree, getting an idea.

“Get that boulder!” Matthew said to Nicole.

Nicole holds out a futuristic gadget, and shoots a laser beam at the boulder, which makes the boulder appear across from the dead tree. Matthew ties the rope around the boulder, and runs across from it to a dead tree. He ties the rest of the rope to the dead tree, forming a trip rope in the Posidonia Wanderer’s path.

“Here it comes!” Matthew yelled to Nicole, as they get out of the way.

The Posidonia Wanderer gets one of its feet caught in the rope, but it shrugs it off, and keeps going, tearing the rope off. The Wanderer keeps on walking through the plains.

“Haha, well…that sucked!” Matthew said awkwardly, as he laughs it off, not even mad his plan failed.

As the Wanderer keeps moving, the two flying soldiers stop in their tracks, and look down at the two. They hold out their laser guns, silently giving them a stern warning to not mess with the Wanderer.

“Yeah, I see you…” Matthew said arrogantly to the two soldiers, looking at them annoyed, as they keep on flying.

“Hey Matt, see this?” Nicole asked him.

“Nope.” Matthew replied.

“It looks like the Wanderer dug something up.” Nicole said, pointing to a hole in the ground left by the Wanderer’s footprint.

They look into the hole to see an old, rusty broken red sword, which is the remains of Jake’s knight sword.

“Whoa…” Matthew said, checking it out.

“It’s beautiful. Let’s take it home to learn about it. This could contain ancient knowledge, there's so much about the past we still have yet to learn...” Nicole said curiously.

“You and your knowledge!” Matthew replied.

Matthew and Nicole travel back to Posidonia Fields, which now looks like a fusion of abandoned futuristic buildings and several Central Karmanian structures. Matthew sings a song, as they approach their home, which is an abandoned Golden Seahorse. The restaurant was closed down years ago, but the two have since made it their residence, as they walk inside. Nicole places the sword on a table, as the two curiously examine it.

“It looks so old, Nicole. Whose do you think it was?” Matthew wondered.

“There’s no markings on it or anything. I think we should find the King of Posidonia and ask him.” Nicole suggested, shocking Matthew.

“What!? The King of Posidonia is just a myth! Come on Nicole!” Matthew replied.

“That’s what I thought too, but I did research at the old library and found this book.” Nicole explained, holding up a book titled “The Royalty of Posidonia”.

She opens the book, and flips to a page showing a castle on a mountain faraway from the rest of Posidonia Fields. This is the same castle that Randy was working on.

“According to this, he is supposed to have lived in an ancient castle on top of Mt. Kelpdor.” Nicole explained, reading the book.

“Really?” Matthew asked curiously.

“Yup. He’s supposed to still be living to this very day…” Nicole said curiously.

Matthew and Nicole go on a journey to find the castle, and the King of Posidonia. They travel across the country and make their way to Mt. Kelpdor, where the Posidonia castle is sitting at the top. They travel up the old mountain path.

“Come on Nicole!” Matthew yelled to her, as he makes it up ahead past her, trying to compete in a race.

The two make it to the snowy peak of Mt. Kelpdor. They see the remains of the last castle before them, as it is covered in snow and several parts of it are falling apart.

“I found him…the King of Posidonia!” Matthew said happily, as the two stare at the castle entrance.

“Welcome dudes, I’ve been expecting you. Not that I was stalking you or anything, but my psychic wizard powers told me you were coming. Name’s Nick, or Nick Carson for full. I’m the King of Posidonia!” Nick greeted to them, who is at the castle entrance, and he holds out his wizard wand which emits a signal.

Nick is much older now, wearing a fake beard, the king crown and wizard robes. He also now has a prosthetic robotic left arm, hinting something happened to it long ago.

“Wow, you look…nothing like I expected.” Nicole said curiously.

“Yeah, I’ve been told. Come on inside!” Nick said cheerfully, allowing them into the castle, as Matthew and Nicole follow him inside.

Nick activates a light source, illuminating the throne room, showing lots of junk around. Matthew and Nicole look around the throne room to see many objects from Nick’s past adventures with the guardians and knights. These include: remains of several Slayer robots, some of Zero’s inventions including his spy drones and binoculars, Paint Skater’s paintbrush and bucket, pieces of Audrey’s artwork, Nick’s cowboy hat, Sammy the Seahorse costume, Snail-tective merchandise, Jake and Madison’s birthday necklaces from Mai, the Shadow Sword, several of Skipper’s magical artifacts and books, broken dimensional scissors, musical instruments from Soundaria, Firebolt’s armor, Hank’s motorbike, a Prism Pillar, piles of gold, and magic potions.

“This is quite the loot. You must be rich, King of Posidonia!” Matthew said to Nick.

“Sure, you could say that. Anyways, I’m sure you two must be thirsty and hungry from your long journey here, so here’s some tea, and I’ll get you food.” Nick said, pouring cups of tea for them, although they aren’t listening.

Nicole and Matthew keep excitedly checking out Nick’s loot, as they pick up some of the items.

“Be careful with those, they are valuable! Anyways, hey doc, I need bagels in here pronto, we got company!” Nick yelled to someone, confusing the two.

Zero then walks into the room, who is now in the body of a silver robot of his own design. He looks through his robotic blue eyes, analyzing Nicole and Matthew. He is carrying a plate of bagels.

“Whoa, a robot…” Nicole said curiously.

“Who are these strangers, Nick?” Zero asked him, pondering.

“They are Matthew and Nicole, two lucky dudes that stumbled upon our home. I sense big things for both of them, they have a purpose here…but first, have these.” Nick said, showing them the tea and bagels he has placed for both at a royal table, as the two sit down.

“Oh, thank you good sir.” Matthew said, having tea and bagels with Nicole.

“Who are you?” Nicole asked Zero.

“I used to be Professor Zero, a half-cyborg, half-fish scientist. Much of my work you see in motion today thanks to the combined efforts of many throughout the years. I am now purely robot after uploading my mind into this body to preserve my conscious.” Zero explained.

“Far out…you guys have such an interesting history.” Matthew said.

“We came here to ask about something, sir. Do you recognize this?” Nicole asked, holding out Jake’s sword, and placing it in front of Nick and Zero.

“Yeah, this belonged to…Jake Landers.” Nick explained, as Zero reminisced to himself upon hearing that name.

“Jake…” Matthew said curiously, wanting to know more.

“He was the leader of the knights of Karmania, part of the guardians. Zero over here was a knight too. Jake, like all the other guardians and knights, was an amazing hero. He was a great leader. And, he was a good friend.” Nick reminisced.

“Guardians and knights…I’ve read about them in my readings.” Nicole recalled.

“It makes me feel really old seeing two young people of the new era not knowing about the guardians and knights…sad. They were all there with me at the end. Say, that reminds me. Do you know about the Great Kingdom War?” Nick asked to the two.

“Nope.” Matthew and Nicole replied.

“Well then, get ready for quite a tale…” Nick was saying, as he begins to narrate a past event to them.

Back in present day, it is night time in Central Karmania. The heroes are all seen on a cliff near the remains of the Hidden Kingdom.

“Hey, there it is again!” Jake yelled, seeing something in the sky, as he runs to the end of the cliff.

“Let me see!” Madison yelled, approaching him with the others.

Jake uses Zero’s binoculars to look out into the night sky. He sees Ramos, Tom and Beesle on a magic carpet, doing a strange ritual. Beesle is knocked out and tied up in rope, with smoke coming off of the Evil Stone in his hands. Ramos is asleep, in a deep trance. Wires are hooked up from Ramos to the Evil Stone, as Ramos is trying to absorb its power for an unknown reason. Tom is wearing a skull necklace, and holding talismans in both hands, performing a magical chant.

“It looks like Tom, Ramos and…Beesle?” Jake said confused, surprising Skipper.

“Beesle has smoke coming off of him.” Audrey noticed, curious.

“What are they doing?” Roxy asked.

“I don’t know, but it’s freaking me out…” Tori said, seeing it.

“Do you think they’re with the Gideonians?” Trent asked.

“I don’t believe so. Whatever they’re doing, they’re on their own.” Cameron replied curiously.

Suddenly, the three disappear in an odd static teleportation.

“That sure was something, lads. Wonder what that fool Ramos got himself into now…” Flinn said curiously.

“I wonder the same thing…” Skipper said, concerned about Ramos.

“Whatever those dorks were up to, we better report it to Meritel.” Cynthia said.

“Yeah, I guess…” Elana said sadly, thinking about the war.

“Hey, don’t even worry about all this war stuff. I know we’ll find a way to fix this thing, like we always do. Trust me, by the end of this fight, I’m sure everything will go back to normal as it always does.” Cynthia reassured.

“I hope so.” Elana replied.

Cameron approaches Jake and Madison, who are both feeling unsure about the war as well.

“Don’t worry, we’ll make it through this together. We’ve made it through everything so far. The magic of Karmania is with us.” Cameron reassured to both.

The heroes then head back to the battle camps below, where many lights are shining through the night.

“And so, Queen Elana’s mother was about to fight her own brother. But she had friends, and he has friends. So they decided to have an epicly big war! The biggest fight Karmania had ever seen…” Nick narrated from the future.

The heroes reach the camp site, as they approach the central planning tent, which has two royal guards in front of it. They go inside, where Meritel is explaining their plan to all of their allies. A battle planning map is seen on the table. Ranen, Mai, Steele, Van Gordon, the elderly general, Branton Jack, Porky, Valina, Cassidy, Briar, Peyton, Maxwell, Vinerox, Argros, Rhapsody, Stanford, Flarity, Luna and Deckel are all in the tent as allies.

“Then it’s settled. At the stroke of high noon when the sun is at its brightest, the first squadron will form a pincer formation around Gideon’s exposed nether regions, isolating the front, and-“ Meritel was explaining her strategy.

“Um, excuse me, excuse me Mrs. Meritel, if I may. I think I have a plan that will put an end to all of this tonight! I just need a knife, a banjo, a clarinet, a parachute, mittens, and…” Rhapsody was suggesting, as Meritel gets annoyed by this.

“Ugh…terrible plan!” Vinerox interrupted.

“But my plan-“ Rhapsody was saying.

“No, my plan: Giant air balloon, bomb them, and I can get out of here sooner than later.” Vinerox replied.

“HEY! Now’s not the time. Unless we reign victorious, we all get to take a nice Orion-styled bath in Gideon’s mind numbing monster potion. Understand?” Meritel said, as Orion in his goat form runs across the table, and falls to the ground.

“Uh, not really.” Rhapsody replied, scratching his head.

“Yeah, sure.” Vinerox replied, shrugging.

“Uh, to be quite honest, I-I barely understand what this w-war is even about.” Porky replied.

“Well I do. I know Gideon better than anyone, so we’re doing this my way. The fate of everyone in the kingdom is on the line.” Meritel said sternly.

“Uh, hey mom.” Elana said, as Meritel turns around to see the heroes.

“Elana, you’re back. How did the scouting go?” Meritel asked.

“We saw Ramos and Tom flying around with Beesle doing a weird chant.” Nick explained.

“Hmm, very peculiar, but I don't believe that's relevant to our situation…” Meritel said.

“Do you know what Tom is up to, council members?” Zero asked Deckel, Luna and Briar.

“You’re asking the wrong person.” Luna replied, as her and Briar shrug.

“Not even I know, Tom is an enigma.” Deckel replied.

“Hey, uh...Meritel, maybe this is a bad omen. Seeing a council member up in the stars, that’s a bad omen and means you should call off this war. That’s a Karmanian saying I heard before, probably.” Madison said awkwardly.

“Did you make that up just now?” Tori whispered.

“Good job if so, I think you convinced her.” Cynthia replied sarcastically, as Meritel looks annoyed.

They then hear beeping noises from behind. One of Gideon’s soldiers is seen at the tent entrance, holding a camera, which says “low battery” to him, as he tries to get the camera working again. Luna then fires a magical arrow at him, making the soldier drop his camera.

“LONG LIVE GIDEONIA!” The soldier yelled, running off.

Luna angrily chases after the soldier, speeding off.

“WAAAAAAH!” The soldier yelled, as Luna happily returns to the tent.

“That’s my girl!” Nick said, proud of her.

“Dangit, Gideon overheard all of our tactics!” Meritel said, angrily throwing the camera to the ground. “He’s left me no choice, Elana. The attack begins now…”

Meritel angrily walks out of the tent, as the heroes seem worried, but try to keep calm.

Meanwhile, at Gideon’s own “Victory Tent” in Gideonia…

“Dangit, Gideon overheard all of our tactics!” played on the recording, which Gideon watches on a tv in the tent, where Madectrison and Dolly are with him.

“Well…that settles it. If we know, and she knows, and if she knows we know, which we do…then we know we have no choice. We must strike now!” Gideon said, as Madectrison and Dolly both look at him.

Dolly shows unsure and worried expressions toward this.

“Ladies and gentlemen…TO WAR!!!” Gideon announced, as Madectrison stands up.

Back at the heroes’ camp, the soldiers are all running around in a panic, getting ready for battle. Meritel walks forward, getting an airhorn ready. Valina, Cassidy, Mai, Peyton, Briar, Ranen and Max then get in her way.

“We need to talk. We’re worried about you, with all due respect.” Ranen said to her.

“We know you’re under a lot of pressure here, but as your old friends, we’d like to ask you to reconsider.” Valina said, as the others nod in agreement.

“Take this wisdom from someone who has lived through a lot of history: starting another war is not wise.” Mai said to her.

“I understand. But I cannot see another way out of this. Thank you for your concerns.” Meritel replied, as she walks onward.

The heroes are off to the side, talking about this.

“Maybe Elana’s mom is right, we’ll just beat Gideon’s forces, and everything will go back to normal.” Tori said to them.

“If this was an ideal world, maybe.” Roxy replied.

“No, she’s wrong. This is all wrong." Jake replied nervously.

"While I don't want war either, what makes fighting this guy different from the Federation? We beat them and Posidonia is doing fine." Cynthia inquired.

"For one, this is a family dispute and I imagine the queen doesn't want to lose her mother or uncle." Skipper noted, seeing Elana's concern on her face.

"This is much different. Even if we win this, one war is enough to leave forever lasting consequences, my stone senses it and I trust its judgment by now. It’s like the whole world is going crazy and we’re living in one big…nightmare…” Jake said, realizing something.

Madison realizes what he’s saying, as she gets an idea, looking at Valina…

“Uh, did I miss something? What are you lads implying? Ol’ Jack doesn’t like being left out of inside secrets!” Branton Jack said, laughing, trying to get in on their conversation.

Later at sunrise, both armies are ready to fight. They have gathered their forces at the edge of Western Karmania. The Guardian is seen flying in the air above. On Gideon’s side, The Pulverizer is lined up with several smaller mechs and advanced catapults. The heroes look at each other, as Madison holds out a familiar magic bag. She then holds up the heart, transforming the girls and the past guardians. The knights all power up as well, as everyone is finally ready. They look at the enemy’s side from the distance, standing in the front row.

“War! War! War!” The elderly general chanted.

“Squadron 300, you’re on!” Meritel spoke through a communicator.

Several soldiers wearing the cyber gear seen in the future appear, readying their guns.

“Up we go!” One of them said, as they all fly up into the air. “In position, ma’am.”

Several catapults appear below, holding Bananamelon bombs, which are ready to fire. The Pulverizer then begins to move and tap the mace against its sides, as Gideon laughs.

“Bahaha, Bananamelons, really? You’re weird, Meritel!” Gideon yelled.

In The Pulverizer’s control room, Gideon approaches a soldier. Dolly is standing against the wall, while Madectrison and Skorpos are examining a battle map at a table.

“Hey you, give me your lunch!” Gideon said to the soldier, looking into his lunch bag. “You got a banana in here?”

He then grabs a lemon and holds it.

“Is this a banana?” Gideon wondered.

“No, it’s a lemon-” The soldier replied.

“Close enough! Hey niece, sister, watch this!” Gideon yelled to Elana and Meritel below.

He throws the lemon onto the ground below, as his soldiers run away from it, knowing what’s about to happen. The Pulverizer then lifts up its left hand, which is holding a torch. It shoots out a solar beam right onto the lemon, causing an explosion and leaving a crater in the ground. Everyone isn’t sure how to respond to this.

“I’m doing it! I’m sounding the war horn!” Meritel yelled, sounding it.

“Wait!” Elana interrupted.

“What?” Meritel asked, as the horn stops.

“Mom, he sees that you’re serious, maybe he’ll back down. Please listen to me!" Elana said.

“…Okay, I trust you. We’ll give him one last chance.” Meritel replied, as Elana smiles.

The Pulverizer walks forward, as Gideon looks out of the main window with a telescope. He sees the heroes waving a white flag, declaring they want to talk.

“What? Come on!” Gideon said, annoyed.

“Here they come!” Jake said, as Gideon and Madectrison approach.

“Hurry this up, I want a war!” Gideon demanded.

“Hi Madectrison.” Madison greeted, as Madectrison makes electric sparks flow around her body, annoyed.

“Brother, I demand that you deescalate your forces now.” Meritel said to him.

“Psh, listen to yourself. You’re a toddler, sister!” Gideon replied.

“Surrender or lose!” Meritel yelled to Gideon.

“NO! Gideon yelled back.

“That’s my cue!” Nick yelled.

“What?” Meritel said confused.

Nick then jumps up and throws a bag of dream powder at the ground, which is the same dream powder Valina used on the girls before. The powder explodes everywhere, affecting Meritel, Gideon, Madectrison, Elana, Jake, Madison and Cameron. The seven fall to the ground out cold.

“AAAAAHHHHH, THEY’RE DEAD! THEY’RE ACTUALLY DEAD!” Diggy yelled, running to the unconscious bodies.

“No, they’re not dead! They’re in some weird dream realm.” Cynthia explained.

“Yeah, I managed to whip up that dream powder Valina used on the girls before.” Nick said.

“Hey Diggy my boy, what are you doing fooling around with the enemy?” Branton Jack asked him.

“I was offered to join their league of villains or whatever. But I know whose gonna win anyways.” Diggy replied, shrugging, as he takes the heroes’ side.

A nightmare version of Central Karmania is shown, with creepy eyes everywhere and a dark sky. The castle looks like a scary volcano, with a skull face on top. Madison, Jake, Cameron, Elana, Meritel, Gideon and Madectrison wake up in a nightmare version of the castle’s throne room.

“And so…they were dead. No, not really…” Nick continued to narrate from the future.

The seven look around at their settings, feeling around.

“…What is this place? Madison…” Meritel said to her annoyed.

“Last resort! Sorry, but we all agreed you were acting nuts out there. Now you have to hash this out in the unconscious world.” Madison explained.

“This is a dream?” Gideon asked, as him and Madectrison feel around the area.

“Yeah, you can basically do anything in dreams.” Jake said, as he uses is mind to make a sandwich appear, which he eats.

Madectrison then turns back into her normal robot form. Gideon then makes a spike club appear in his hands, as does Madectrison.

“Sneak attack! Maybe if we destroy them here, they’ll die in the real world!” Gideon said evilly.

“Not if I do it first!” Meritel yelled.

“No, we need love, not war!” Elana said to her.

“Good idea!” Meritel said, as she makes a rocket launcher appear. “Put down your weapons or I’m firing!”

“NO!” Gideon yelled.

“I can see this is working…” Cameron said, as him, Jake, Madison and Elana all sigh.

Suddenly, a stove begins to shake, and out of a pot, a fat orange cat flies out of it.

“Row, row, row your boat gently down the stream, merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream!” The cat sung, as everyone looks at this weirded out and confused.

“Thank goodness for a singing creature to deescalate the situation…I think?” Madison said.

The cat then magically explodes, shooting magic dust everywhere, shocking everyone.

“Yikes!” Jake yelled, trying not to look, as everyone else also tries not to look.

Gideon then looks around, and drops his weapon. He runs toward a chimney, trying to climb up it.

“I’m going to figure out how to wake myself up, and get revenge on you sleeping fools!” Gideon declared.

“…You’re leaving me?” Madectrison asked.

“You’re on your own!” Gideon replied, as he escapes up the chimney.

Madectrison then gets sad, and attaches herself to the floor with electric vines.

“She’s stuck! Ready, aim…” Meritel was saying, about to fire.

“No!” Elana yelled, as she grabs Meritel, causing her to lose aim, and makes the launcher fire a blast into the wall.

Meritel makes the launcher float away, and looks annoyed.

"Why did you stop me!?" Meritel asked.

“You’re supposed to be having an epiphany!” Elana said to her.

“Here’s my epiphany: It’s clear we’re not going to agree on this anytime soon. I’m out!” Meritel said, as she flies away, going through the hole in the wall.

“You can’t force a realization I’m afraid. She’ll have to see on her own.” Jake said to Elana.

“Hopefully she doesn’t do anything too crazy…” Elana said, as she flies after her.

“Madectrison!” Madison yelled, approaching her, as she tries to get her out of the floor. “Come on, snap out of it!”

Madectrison looks annoyed, as she makes more sparks form around her.

“I don’t need your help.” Madectrison replied, swinging her electric sword around, as Madison avoids.

A cocoon then forms around Madectrison. She then bursts out of it in a new form, with electric wings, as she screams like a bird. She flies into the sky, where the clouds have creepy eyes on them.

“I’m going to fly around and destroy stuff until I feel good, or until I tire myself out!” Madectrison yelled.

“Peaceful thoughts…” Madison said to herself.

She then transforms into her light elemental form, as she chases after Madectrison.

“Madectrison!” Madison yelled to her, flying in her way, but Madectrison flies away from her.

Back in the nightmare castle, Cameron and Jake are alone.

“So…I guess we have nothing else to do now that Elana and Madison are facing their own issues.” Jake said.

“Not entirely. There’s someone you can meet.” Cameron says, as he thinks.

Wes's ghost then appears before them, surprising Jake.

“Is that…” Jake was saying.

“Yup, it’s me, Jake. Cameron’s father, the former red knight. Honored to meet you.” Wes said.

“I have a lot of words, but yeah, honored to meet you too, sir!” Jake said, shaking his hand.

“Say, are you boys hungry? Because I sure am.” Wes said.

The setting then turns into a restaurant, as they sit at a fancy table.

“Hey waiter, get over here!” Wes yelled.

The waiter turns around to show a younger version of Atlas, who is wearing glasses and a waiter outfit.

“Hi, what will be your orders?” Atlas asked.

“Not him again!” Cameron said, readying his sword.

“Who is that?” Jake asked.

“That’s the creature that tried to drain my power in the World Between Worlds.” Cameron said.

“How about we beat the snot out of him, together? What do you say, boys?” Wes asked happily.

“I say yes.” Cameron replied happily.

Jake, Cameron and Wes then begin to beat up the dream Atlas, punching him many times and smashing his head against the table.

Back at the battlefield, everyone on both sides stands around awkwardly, looking at the unconscious seven.

“I kind of wanted to fight, but I guess that’s not happening…” Steele sighed.

Gideon’s soldiers keep standing blankly. Lester, Slypox, Frostbite, Brewtanizer, Skorpos, Chamelos, Viktor, Maximus Tong and Gamergator are not amused by this however, wanting to fight. They are all wearing special armor with Gideon’s crest stamped on it.

“Well I want a battle! I told you kids I wanted revenge, and I’m gonna get it!” Lester said angrily, igniting a flame sword.

“Want to beat those dorks up while we pass the time?” Cynthia offered to the heroes and past guardians.

“Cynthia, it would be my pleasure.” Cassidy replied.

The guardians, knights, Ranen and Max charge forward, as they fight off the Central Karmania Haters.

“Should we help them or…” Stanford was saying.

“Trust me, they have this covered.” Deckel said, as the rest of the allies sit back and watch as they fight the Haters.

Roxy and Peyton both send animal and music attacks at Chamelos. Cassidy and Tori send combined water attacks at Maximus Tong, trapping him in a vortex. Cynthia and Briar both hurl boulders right at Lester. Valina and Skipper both attack Gamergator. Audrey and Mai send wind attacks at Skorpos, who shoots poison blasts back, but they avoid. Ranen and Trent both attack Slypox’s blade arms, dueling him. Nick and Zero both attack Brewtanizer. Flinn and Max both attack Viktor. Argros and Vinerox tackle Frostbite, beating him up.

Meanwhile, Meritel is seen chasing Gideon on top of nightmare houses in a blank void. Elana tries to give chase, but can’t keep up with them.

“Enough, Gideon!” Meritel yelled, as she chases him into a nightmare golem’s mouth at the end of the buildings.

A walking ice cream seen inside, as Gideon approaches it.

“Pinch me, I wanna wake up!” Gideon said to the ice cream.

“Brother…we’re ending this here.” Meritel said, approaching him.

“So be it.” Gideon replied.

The two make lances appear in their hands. They then charge at and slash each other, as they both fall to the ground. Their lances disappear, as both go static and their bodies move weirdly.

Madison and Madectrison keep flying around, as Madectrison angrily shoots electric blasts at Madison from her wings. Madison counters them with light electric blasts.

“If you could just calm down, it’d be a great thing that there’s two of us.” Madison said to Madectrison, still trying to reason with her.

Both then fall out of the air. Madison then catches Madectrison, who pushes her away.

“Why don’t you just fight me like a real guardian?” Madectrison asked.

“We’re two sides of the same coin.” Madison replied.

“You’ll never get what it’s like to be me. I’m tormented!” Madectrison replied.

“I’m also that sometimes!” Madison replied.

“…Prove it. Or I’ll never stop fighting you.” Madectrison replied.

Jake and Cameron then reappear, seeing this.

“Proof of my sister’s torment? Oh, I can do that.” Jake said, as he thinks through his mind.

Jake then makes him and Cameron appear in a creepy version of Henry and Susan’s home. The two walk around, when Henry and Susan spot them, who both smile creepily.

“Heyo Jake-o! Do you and your friend want delicious doughnuts?” Henry offered, throwing a storm of doughnuts at them, as they try to slash their way through them.

“Jake, eat your dinner!” Susan said, as she turns into a food monster and spits more food at them.

“…You have strange dreams.” Cameron said to Jake, as the two escape down a hallway.

A nightmare version of Gideon’s old log cabin is shown. The events of “Princess Meritel” begin to reenact themselves in the basement, but the roles are reversed. Meritel is holding Gideon’s monster juice in her hand, about to pour it on him.

“Come on Gideon, don’t run away from happiness, I’m going to fix you!” Meritel said to Gideon, as their faces glitch back and forth.

Gideon nervously backs against the wall.

“No no no!” Gideon panicked.

“Just one drop…” Meritel said, approaching him.

“Hm?” Gideon said to himself, as he then makes the Stone of Light appear, while Meritel keeps laughing evilly.

He throws it right at the bottle, and the juice spills all over Meritel.

“The juice! Noooo!” Meritel yelled, as she transforms into a candy creature.

“Call me…king.” Gideon said happily, making a crown appear on his head.

This upsets Meritel, as an eye in the room sees this and reacts. Jake and Cameron continue to explore the house, when they find a secret door. Down it is a black void with many objects floating around, as the two jump down. They avoid many projectiles and random objects flying everywhere. They hit the bottom, which resembles a basement. The two shine their knight stones around the darkness, trying to find something. Several balloons float around, getting in their way, as they all explode. Out of the confetti, the white Karmanian Deer appears, wearing a top hat and monocle.

“Three steps right, two steps back, one step up! Have pie.” The deer spoke, as it shoots pies out of its mouth, weirding Cameron and Jake out.

Jake then goes three steps right, two steps back and one step up. In the ground, he sees a treasure chest labeled “Madison and Madectrison’s repressed memories”.

“I found it!” Jake said.

“Alright, now let’s get out of…whatever this dream is!” Cameron said, as the basement begins to turn into a circus.

Gideon is seen standing in the barren plains of Central Karmania, as Meritel watches. He concentrates, and the castle rises from the ground, as he stands on top of it. The kingdom forms around the area, as the villagers and beasts all gather.

“It’s beautiful…” Meritel said to herself in her monster form, as she watches the kingdom grow.

A giant shadow of Gideon looms over the kingdom. The castle begins to melt and fall apart. The civilians and beasts all run around in a panic. Gideon is then seen in a workshop room, still wearing his crown.

“NO!” Gideon said, trying to stop the castle from melting. “Oh, why did I build an amateur?"

Meritel then climbs up the melted castle.

“I can help you king, just listen to this!” Meritel said to herself.

“Watch me dance!” Meritel spoke out loud to Gideon.

Meritel then dances in her monster form, and begins to cry.

“…Ahahaha!” Gideon laughed.

He too begins to cry, as his face merges into the melted castle remains, and so does the rest of his body. The lights in the room then go out.

Madison and Madectrison have both turned into seahorses, fighting each other in a nightmare forest.

“Madectrison, come on, I’m not fighting you!” Madison yelled.

Madectrison tackles her with an electric charge anyways, as Madison tries to get her off. Jake and Cameron then appear through a portal, stopping the fighting, as they show Madison’s memory chest.

“My memories!” Madison and Madectrison said at once.

"Here's your proof!" Jake said, as he and Cameron open the chest together.

Several ghosts fly out of it. The ghosts show Ramos, Gride, The White Knight, Zurtrax, Edward, Valina, Broodwing, Merrick, Drakkus, Rookie and Beast. Madison and Madectrison try not to look, as many ghosts swarm around them.

“Now you know how I feel!” Madison said.

“Okay, okay, just make it stop!” Madectrison replied.

“We have to confront them head on!” Madison said.

All of the ghosts fly back into the chest, forming a portal. Several images flash through it, showing Madectrison trapped in the electric webs in the heart, and then the Electric Demon’s eyes in the shadows. Both gasp at once.

“Madectrison. This is why I brought us here. We can defeat him together.” Madison encouraged her.

Madison and Madectrison both jump into the portal together, ready to face the Electric Demon.

“No fear.” Elana’s voice said from beyond.

Madison appears in the Heart of Karmania, as electric cobwebs have covered the entire room. She sees Madectrison hanging from electrical webs and wires, with the Electric Demon still holding onto her. Madison flies up and tries to grab the Electric Demon, but an electric field surrounds the two, zapping Madison back. Madison forces her through the field using her combined light and electric powers, absorbing the electricity and then destroying the field. She grabs the Electric Demon and rips him off of Madectrison’s body.

“So you’re the beast that’s been holding my clone hostage…” Madison said, looking at the creature.

“Without me, she’s got no body...” the Electric Demon said to her, trying to escape.

“You disgust me…” Madison said, about to strike the creature with a light electric blast, but then realizes Madectrison might disappear if she does, so she hesitates.

Suddenly, Madectrison, in her Madison appearance, then stabs the Electric Demon with the chair that was in the room. The demon lets out a dying scream, killing it. Madison then gives Madectrison a hi-five. The Electric Demon’s sparks all fade out, as its body crumbles to dust. The room around them then crumbles away, making them appear at a tropical island. The fat orange cat flies through the air, singing a song again. The girls sit on the edge, looking at the ocean before them. Madectrison looks at herself in the reflection, realizing she’s not a robot anymore.

“I’m me again. Feels like it’s been forever…” Madectrison said, reflecting on the past.

A whale then swims to the island. It spits out both Meritel and Gideon, as they appear on the island. Jake, Cameron and Elena appear on the island as well.

“Looks like everything worked out, surprisingly.” Elana said, seeing Gideon and Meritel not fighting.

Madectrison’s body then feels weird, as it starts to slowly fade away.

“…He was right. I have no body.” Madectrison realized, as her body begins to disintegrate.

“Don’t worry, it’s just a dream. You’ll be fine…I think.” Jake said, actually unsure, as Cameron doesn’t say anything.

The seven wake up on the battlefield, surprising everyone.

“Oh thank goodness, I lowkey worried I messed up the spell and you guys would never wake up.” Nick said.

“We had fun while you guys were off in dream land.” Roxy said, pointing to all of the knocked out Haters.

Madectrison’s body begins to slowly disintegrate, as her sparks begin to fade away, making her sad.

“Madectrison…you really are disintegrating…I'm sorry.” Madison said sadly, as the heroes aren't sure what to say.

“Oops…” Elana said awkwardly.

Meritel and Gideon look at each other.

“Meritel, I…” Gideon was saying.

“I’m so sorry for what I put you through for all those years. The kingdom was your dream, and I took it from you. I was selfish.” Meritel said heartfully.

“Meritel, that means so much to me. Come, from now on, we’ll live in peace…” Gideon was saying happily, as he walks forward, about to hug Meritel.

Suddenly, Dolly then trips Gideon, making him fall to the ground, and glass is heard breaking. He pulls out a cracked monster juice from his pocket, which has spilled all over his body.

“…Drat.” Gideon said sadly.

“…What!?” Meritel and Elana yelled, surprised by this.

The juice turns Gideon back into Boboo. Boboo holds out his wand and happily runs off, blowing bubbles.

“He was never really the epiphany type. But I would be willing to let the past stay in the past, and start a new era.” Dolly said to Meritel and Elana.

“Very well. Two kingdoms it is! The war is over!” Elana decreed, as Meritel is proud of her.

“Hip hip, hooray!” Everyone yelled.

"Elana...I'm sorry for undermining your authority. I was too biased and this should've ultimately been your decision, not mine." Meritel apologized to her, as the two embrace.

“And so, in the end…they decided not to have the big bad war.” Nick finished narrating in the future.

“Oh, the end of the war, I thought you meant the end of the world.” Nicole replied.

“Oh, no. That actually happened next.” Nick replied happily.

Diggy looks around as the soldiers and allies begin to leave.

“So…I guess everyone’s going home, huh? Well, that was quite a show, but I have better things to do with my crew!” Diggy said.

“Yup.” Nick replied.

“Wow, that was a really lame war, but at least we got to beat up D-list villains one last time.” Cynthia said, shrugging.

“I’m just glad everything can go back to normal-“ Elana was saying.

Suddenly, a dark, ominous portal opens in the sky. Tom goes flying out of it on fire like a comet, as he lands onto the ground, surprising everyone. Smoke comes off of his body, as he weakly lifts his head up.

“…We messed up, for legit actual serious real…” Tom said, very worried and falls to the ground out cold.

Everyone looks up at the sky confused and worried, as Malgus then begins to descend from the portal…

130. Say Goodbye: Part Two

“…What am I looking at?” Madison asked, seeing Malgus.

“Um…we saved the day, so maybe that thing is here to reward us?” Tori suggested.

“I don’t think so…” Audrey replied.

“Yeah, I thought so too.” Tori replied.

Malgus comes out of the portal, floating idly in the sky. From the portal, a dark cloud begins to cover the skies across all of Karmania. Luna, Briar and Deckel look at it extremely worried.

“Tom…what did that fool do now!?” Luna asked, annoyed.

“I’m not an expert, but this seems bad…” Madectrison said, as heavy winds blow across the battlefield.

“You ain’t kidding, sparks…” Flarity said to her, worried as well.

“Yup, this has the evil monster vibe to it. Great, just when I thought we could go home…” Roxy said, sighing.

“Elana, Meritel, what did you guys do!?” Cynthia asked them.

“I have no idea, it wasn’t me!” Elana replied, confused.

“Don’t look at me either!” Meritel replied, concerned.

“Yeah, this has nothing to do with us…” Jake said, looking at his knight stone.

All of the Central Karmania Haters get up, and are about to continue fighting. They stop in their tracks when they see Malgus, terrifying them. Diggy briefly approaches them before he leaves with Branton and Porky, standing by Maximus Tong.

“Welp, it was real fun being in this rogues gallery with y’all for ten seconds, but I’m out. Branton, Porky and I are gonna go treasure hunting again...” Diggy was saying goodbye to him, when he sees Malgus in the sky. "Wait...oh my..."

He has a flashback:

Diggy is seen outside his old trailer home long ago, looking through junk he salvaged. Cloudy, Big Nose and other Karmanians are there, hanging out with him.

“Malgus! Look guys, I keep seeing reference to this strange entity that represents chaos and destruction.” Diggy said, reading an ancient magical book that he found in the trash, which has a page about Malgus.

“…What?” Big Nose asked, confused.

“That’s great dude, but check this out!” Cloudy said, holding out a bucket of old bagels from the trash.

“Malgus would say bagels are without any meaning, just empty calories devoid of purpose. His presence is felt in every crevice where darkness lurks…” Diggy said, reciting the book.

“Don’t get involved in creepy cult stuff, Diggy.” A villager warned.

“Hey Diggy, catch!” Cloudy said, throwing a jar of berries at Diggy.

The jar hits Diggy in the head, knocking him out.

“Duh…” Diggy moaned, as the gang all awkwardly walk away, ending the flashback.

“…Nah, I don’t know who that is.” Diggy said, scratching his head.

“Skipper, do you know who that dude is?” Nick asked him.

“That is Malgus, an insanely powerful evil creature from another dimension only spoken of in legends. I never thought I’d see it in person…Ramos, what have you done?” Skipper explained, fascinated, and also terrified.

Malgus then opens its mouth, and releases a purple, ghastly substance from it. The purple substance grabs onto the nine Central Karmania Haters and many of Gideon’s soldiers, shooting out dark energy from each other.

“AAAAAHHHHHH!” The Haters and soldiers all yelled in pain, terrifying the heroes.

The substance begins to crush and mutate them together. Out of the purple acid, a giant, green and teal mutant kaiju monster appears, resembling Beast’s aesthetic. It slams its undead right arm onto the ground. Many screaming faces of the villains and soldiers show across the monster’s body. The kaiju monster makes its face form, showing dark golden eyes, demonic eyes all over its body, and many tongues from its mouth. The kaiju monster roars and shoots purple fire from its mouth. Trails of Beast-like purple smoke exhale from the monster’s body.

“…Yikes.” Trent said, as the heroes all look at it worried.

“And you thought today was going to be boring.” Tori said sarcastically to Cynthia, trying to ease the tension.

“Don’t let it touch you!” Dolly yelled to the rest of Gideon’s soldiers, as they back away from the beast.

The mutant monster then grabs some of Gideon’s soldiers with its many tongues.

“Nooo, nooo!” The soldiers yelled, trying to break free, as it eats them alive.

Malgus is still sitting up idly above, as it opens its mouth, showing its large purple tongue.

“Elana, this is the worst thing ever! If we don’t stop this, it could be the end of Karmania!” Cynthia said to her.

“You’re right, I need to step up as queen and do something.” Elana said, as she runs on top of a rock formation in the center of the field. “SOLDIERS!"

“Oh no…” one of them was saying.

“Obey my command: Flee for your lives! If you fight, the demon will just add you to its mass!” Elana yelled to her army.

“Can we flee in a panic?” Another soldier asked.

“YES!” Elana yelled.

Many of the soldiers begin to runaway from the battlefield. However, a few soldiers stay behind, kneeling before Elana.

“We’ll stay your highness, no matter the risk.” one of them said.

“We’re not going anywhere either!” Madison said, as the girls fly up to her side, ready to fight.

“We’re also staying!” Jake said, as the seven knights are ready to fight as well.

“Which should’ve been obvious, but yeah, let’s do this!” Nick added.

“Thank you all.” Elana said, happy they are by her side.

“We’re helping too.” Valina said, as her, Peyton, Mai and Cassidy fly by the girls’ sides as well.

“It only seems poetic that the previous group helps the current generation, one last time.” Mai said.

“We’re fighting too.” Ranen said, as him and Max appear by their side, as Ranen readies his sword.

“Welp, this was quite the experience lads, but alas, my contract doesn’t extend to fighting evil demons from beyond. Peace, and hopefully next time we meet, it’s not in the afterlife!” Branton Jack said, as him and Porky are about to hightail it out of there, but Diggy stops them.

“Wait, guys! I know I wanted to leave too…but this situation has become really scary. We could all die if we don’t help them stop that beast! Think about all the times they’ve been there for us!” Diggy reminded to Branton and Porky.

“Well Diggy, you know how to convince a man, ahaha! But let it be known that if I perish like a hero, you’re going with me.” Branton Jack said grimly, as he readies his handgun.

Madectrison, Meritel, Steele, Van Gordon, the elderly general, Vinerox, Argros, Rhapsody, Stanford, Flarity, Luna, Deckel all agree to stay behind as well, ready to fight.

“This is a war I have to fight. We all have to.” Cynthia said, as the heroes and allies gather around.

“Comrades, if this our last fight, then it’s been the honor.” Van Gordon said to the heroes.

“I’ll defend Karmania down to my last spark.” Madectrison said boldly, igniting her electric sword, as she continues to disintegrate, which the heroes look at sadly.

The kaiju monster lets out more unearthly screams, as it begins to walk toward the heroes.

“Guardian…stop that monster!” Elana yelled to the soldiers up in the blimp.

“Yes, your majesty!” one of the pilots affirmed from above.

The Guardian flies toward the kaiju monster, as it begins to open fire at it. The bullets do no harm to the monster, as it shoots out a dark flame from its mouth at the blimp. The Guardian then flies forward, ramming right into the monster, as juice begins to spill out of its body.

“Gross…” one of the pilots said, trying not to look.

The kaiju monster then grabs onto the blimp and rips one of its wings off, ruining the balance. The Guardian keeps on fighting however. Elana looks at this unnervingly. Dolly sees everyone is in danger, and decides to help too.

“Pulverizer, pick me up!” Dolly yelled to the mech.

Pulverizer lowers one of its hands, as Dolly boards onto it. It puts her inside of its control room, as Dolly is now piloting the mech.

“My friends, we must join the fight!” Dolly yelled to Gideon’s soldiers below.

All of the soldiers run off in a panic, scared of being absorbed by the kaiju like their brothers were.

“Forward!” Dolly yelled, piloting the mech, as it runs to help the blimp fight the kaiju monster.

The Pulverizer’s torch shines, as it shoots a solar beam at the kaiju monster. It stops fighting The Guardian and hisses at this. Jake, Madison and Cameron try to wake up Tom, who is still unconscious on the ground.

“Tom, come on, wake up!” Jake said to him.

Tom then gets up, looks around, and gasps.

“Is that…Skipper?” Tom asked, seeing him in the distance.

“Tom, how do we stop these guys?” Madison asked him.

Tom ignores them and keeps running to Skipper.

“Okay, rude!” Madison said, as the three chase after Tom.

“As Deckel said, he is an enigma!” Cameron reminded, annoyed.

The kaiju monster keeps fighting off both The Guardian and The Pulverizer. It then grabs onto The Guardian’s air balloon and pops it.

“We’re going down!” The soldiers yelled, as some begin to abandon ship.

The Guardian’s remains go crashing down onto the ground, as it shatters apart with debris flying everywhere.

“War is the worst!” Tori said, avoiding debris from the blimp.

“The Guardian!” Elana yelled, worried.

Suddenly, The Guardian begins to reassemble itself back together, using the same power it did in Cosmosos. This surprise the remaining soldiers. They get back into the control room, and continue fighting.

“Ha, we have a magical blimp, take that you ugly monster!” Vinerox yelled.

Skipper is looking at Malgus from below, trying to analyze the creature.

“Skipper, Skipper!” Tom yelled, running up to him, as he trips.

“What’s up?” Skipper asked.

“How do we stop this?” Jake asked Tom, but he pushes him aside. “Okay then.”

“You are the only one that can stop this! Ramos is up there trying to harness the power of Malgus! We have to snap him out of that trance and banish Malgus or we’re all doomed!” Tom explained to Skipper.

The magic carpet reappears in front of Malgus’ face, where Ramos is still hooked up to Beesle’s Evil Stone, doing the trance.

“If anyone can do it, it’s you. You were the only other person to even be a little close to Ramos.” Tom explained to Skipper.

“Alright, I will try. Come, let’s save the world…never thought I’d be the one to say that, but I am!” Skipper said.

The group sees the blocks that float around Malgus, leading up to him like a tower. Madison flies up, while Jake, Cameron, Skipper and Tom hop from block to block.

The Guardian shoots several cannonballs at the kaiju monster, knocking it down. The Pulverizer then pins the monster down, as it struggles to move.

“Threat restrained!” Lysander yelled, who is one of the soldiers inside the blimp.

“They got him!” Elana said happily.

However, the kaiju monster then shoots its many tongues at The Guardian, making it fall to the ground again. The tongues stay on the blimp, as they begin to surround it in a dark magical substance. The power absorbs some of the soldiers while others are knocked out of the blimp, making them fall to the ground.

“Oh no!” Lysander panicked, as the blimp begins to transform into a dark monster.

The Guardian finishes turning into a dark, monstrous flying creature. The wings turn into arms, as it lowers them below. It shoots out spikes from them, impaling several of the soldiers.

“Aaaaah!” The soldiers yelled

Elana panics at this, as she shoots several light blasts at the flying monster. The monster then releases multiple crows and ravens from its mouth, which fly everywhere. The rest of the heroes all aid Elana in attacking the monsters. Both groups of guardians fly around, sending elemental attacks at the monsters, birds and Malgus, while the knights and allies send attacks from below. Van Gordon flies up in his jet pack, shooting blasts at the birds and Malgus, doing no harm to the latter. Branton Jack fires his handgun at a crow, destroying it.

“Ha, I got them!” Branton bragged.

“Here, can I try?” Diggy asked, grabbing the gun.

Diggy fires the gun, as he hits two ravens, while Porky also uses his own gun to hit them.

“Hey, not bad, I can aim after all!” Diggy said, surprised.

“Watch out, mole!” Flinn yelled, seeing birds about to attack him from behind.

Flinn jumps and pushes Diggy aside, saving him. Flinn then sends golden slashes at the birds swarming them, destroying them.

“Hey thanks, you saved my life! Makes me even more proud to be on the winning team!” Diggy said, getting back up.

“Don’t get too happy lad, these demons aren’t going down!” Flinn warned, as he helps Nick, Zero, Trent, Madectrison, Ranen, Max and the soldiers send attacks at the kaiju monster and Malgus.

Trent fires multiple laser arrows around at the birds, hitting all of them. None of his arrows do enough damage to the kaiju monster however.

“Are these monsters made of titanium or something?” Trent asked, as he shoots a burn blast from his stone at the beast.

“Not even I know their weakness, this Malgus’ power exceeds reality…” Zero said grimly, sending as many electric blasts as he can at the monsters.

The Pulverizer punches the kaiju monster, knocking it around, but it keeps standing still. It smashes one of its hands into the ground, nearly getting Steele. Steele then slashes his blades at its arm, as some juice comes out of it.

“Ew.” Steele said, as he runs around, avoiding the monster.

The girls all keep sending elemental attacks at the flying monster above, but they do little effect to it.

“This is going to be a long fight…unless…” Cynthia said, thinking.

Cynthia, Tori, Audrey and Roxy concentrate, as they transform into their light elemental forms. They send super powered attacks at the flying monster, piercing through its skin, as it roars.

As Madison, Jake, Cameron, Skipper and Tom keep hopping on the magical blocks, the crows and ravens try to attack them.

“Evil birds!” Skipper yelled, trying to swat some.

“I’ll distract them! Good luck you guys!” Cameron yelled, as he jumps down, sending attacks from his sword at the birds, getting their attention.

Jake looks down at this, as he keeps jumping from block to block. As Cameron keeps falling, he shines his stone, using its cosmic powers to absorb all of the birds into the stone. Cameron’s stone begins to shake oddly.

“Okay, maybe I didn’t fully think this through!” Cameron panicked.

The birds then explode out of the stone, with feathers flying everywhere. This sends Cameron flying to the ground, as Trent helps him up.

“That was quite a trick, are you okay?” Trent asked.

“I’ve endured worse.” Cameron replied, as he helps the guardians, knights and allies fight both of the giant monsters.

Jake, Madison, Tom and Skipper make it onto the closest block to the magic carpet, seeing Ramos still performing his trance with Beesle.

“Ramos, you have to stop this!” Madison yelled to him, but Tom restrains her.

“Go ahead Skipper, talk to him.” Tom said.

Skipper jumps onto the magic carpet, seeing Ramos doing his trance. Skipper is unsure how to break him out of the trance, so he shakes Ramos and slaps him across the face multiple times.

“No, you’re supposed to reach through to him with words!” Tom said.

“Uh…hello sir, it’s me, the butler who made your tea. You’re not like your family, you do not need to worry about the shadows of their infamy. Also, the cookies are done.“ Skipper said, trying to snap Ramos out of the trance with poetry.

Ramos then wakes up, having his trance interrupted. He stands up, surprised to see Skipper, Madison and Jake there.

“…Skipper!? You’re trying to stop me, when I’m THIS close to harnessing the most powerful force in the universe, and finally fixing my family legacy!?” Ramos asked him.

“…Yeah, I guess. Right, Madison and Jake?” Skipper replied, shrugging.

Ramos then yells, letting out a pulse from his wires onto the Evil Stone. Beesle’s body begins to glow, waking him up.

“Huh, how did I get-" Beesle was saying, as Jake and Madison grab him, getting him out of there.

The Evil Stone falls onto the carpet, as the shocks from the wire keep going into it, powering it up and reactivating it. The stone starts to ominously glow.

“The stone is on super charge!” Ramos said, surprised.

Suddenly, Daunter, Oblidicus and Bonehead begin to emerge out of it, with the three laughing.

“FINALLY, WE’RE FREE! OUR TIME HAS COME-“ Daunter, Oblidicus and Bonehead were saying.

The stone then explodes due to the super charge, killing all three, as the stone shards fly everywhere.

“Well, looks like I don’t have to guard that anymore.” Beesle said, relieved.

However, the blast of the explosion sends Ramos flying right into Malgus’ mouth.

“Ramos!” Jake, Madison and Skipper yelled at once.

The three jump right into Malgus’ mouth to save him, leaving Beesle with Tom.

As Malgus shuts its mouth, it bites off half of Jake’s sword, making it fall onto the dirt ground below. Rhapsody and Peyton send musical attacks at Malgus, as Jake’s sword lands near them.

"Hi. Sorry for kidnapping you." Tom greeted to Bessle on the carpet, who looks below worried.

Beesle notices the Evil Stone's shards begin to turn into dark spirits. The spirits begin to attack the heroes and their allies in addition to the birds. Max is flying around with Van Gordon, fighting the birds, and now swarmed by the spirits as well.

"Great, evil ghosts too! I miss fighting petty supervillains on the other side..." Max said, throwing an explosive disc at a spirit, and Van Gordon keeps blasting at both.

"I swore to protect everyone from this stone's power, and even with it destroyed, I'll continue to do so." Beesle said, as he holds out his sword and jumps down to aid in fighting the spirits, slashing his sword at them.

Tom continues to look at Malgus concerned. Luna fires many magical arrows at the birds and spirits around, with Nick sending spell attacks by her side. The kaiju monster is about to stomp on Steele, but Luna pushes him out of the way, saving him. Elana and Meritel both send light blasts from their palms, vaporizing the spirits. Flarity sends several fire blasts at spirits, scaring them off. She then shoots herself into the air with fire jets, and shoots fire attacks at the flying monster

“Elana, get me some backup!” Flarity yelled.

The flying monster then whacks her with its tongue, sending her flying.

“Aaahhh!” Flarity yelled, as she goes flying right into a mountain wall. “Ouch…”

The girls send as many attacks as they can in their light elemental forms, but even those aren’t enough to damage the monsters. The kaiju monster makes The Pulverizer fall to the ground, as it makes its way to Elana and Madectrison on the rock.

“I’ll handle this beast, Madectrison’s way!” Madectrison said, making her left arm extend into an electric sword, and sends a strike right at the kaiju monster’s shoulder.

The kaiju monster then whacks Madectrison aside. It then leans over Elana, and lets out a loud hiss, as Elana keeps sending light attacks at it. It then raises its right hand and is about to crush her with it, but Elana forms a light bubble around her just in time, protecting herself. The girls see this and panic.

“Elana!” Cynthia, Roxy, Audrey and Tori yelled, but Elana floats up, revealing she is safe.

Her, along with the girls, all send light attacks at the kaiju monster. The light elemental attacks rip apart its body, as the kaiju monster explodes, with its remains splattering across the ground.

“Thanks…” one of the faces on the kaiju monster’s body said.

“Please stay down for good this time.” Roxy said to the remains.

The girls fly off, and help the past guardians, knights and allies fight off the flying monster. Deckel, Luna, Beesle and the past guardians finish off the remaining birds and spirits. While everyone isn’t looking, the kaiju monster’s remains begin to reform themselves back together, with the ground shaking.

“Uh oh…” one of the faces said.

Jake, Madison, Skipper and Ramos wake up inside of a large, green box room, which is Malgus’s stomach.

“What’s…happening…” Jake was saying, feeling weird.

The Heart of Karmania and the knight stones turn gray, as the three lose their powered up forms.

“Probably that.” Madison sighed, looking around at the room.

“Don’t panic, but uh, I think Malgus is digesting us. Breaking us apart layer by layer to our essential forms…” Ramos explained.

The box room around them begins to shrink, making them panic.

“If this is it, it’s good to see you again one last time, sir.” Skipper said to him.

“The one person from my past who actually liked me, hello Skipper. It’s good to see you too. I wanted to erase my past and make my family good, but it seems it was always meant to be. I ruin everything for you guys, it’s all my fault that I’ve doomed you all…” Ramos sighed.

“I’ll get us out of here!” Jake said, trying to find a way.

“Jake, it’s hopeless. You can’t fight your way out of his guts. You may have gotten out of situations with no magical powers before, but this time…I don’t know.” Skipper said grimly.

Ramos then looks at the grey Heart of Karmania on the ground, along with Jake and Skipper’s grey knight stones.

Back outside, the flying monster begins to attack The Pulverizer. It grabs onto the mech and rips its head off. The rest of the mech falls to the ground and collapses apart. Dolly lays in the wreckage unconscious. Meritel, Madectrison, Flarity, Steele, Beesle, Van Gordon, Argros, Vinerox and multiple other allies are shown knocked out and tired.

“I’m getting too old for this…” Branton sighed.

“In all my years, I’ve never fought anything so impossible to defeat…” Peyton said, beat.

The kaiju monster then reforms itself, regrouping with the flying monster.

“So much for us obliterating it.” Tori sighed.

“Wherever Madison, Jake and Skipper are, I hope they’re having better luck than us…” Roxy said, looking up at Malgus, still floating there idly.

“Never give up hope, it is a valuable tool.” Mai reminded.

Cameron then sees both monsters are heading for Central Karmania.

“Okay, I can do this. Stone, give me the last of your energy…” Cameron said, as he channels his stone’s power.

Cameron then begins to glow cosmic blue like he did before on Atlaxia, and runs after the two monsters.

“I did not know he could do that now.” Zero said, surprised.

“New plan: Knights, you go help Cameron take them down. We’ll stay here and see what we can do about Malgus.” Elana ordered, looking up at it.

The rest of the knights chase after Cameron and the monsters. The two giants make their way through Crystal Town, crushing buildings, as the mayor and crystal people flee in a panic. Cameron sends a blue cosmic attack from his sword at both monsters, gaining their attention. He sends more cosmic attacks, trying to overwhelm them. He jumps up and is about to deliver a finishing blow to the kaiju monster.

“This is for you, Jake!” Cameron said.

The kaiju monster then grabs Cameron and slams him right into the crystal ground, making his cosmic form go away. Nick, Zero, Trent, Flinn, Ranen and Max come to his aid, helping him up.

“That was careless, Rhodes, but honorable.” Ranen said.

"I tried." Cameron said, undeterred.

The two monsters then make their way to the Central Karmania, and approach the castle, worrying the knights. Many villagers and beasts panic.

“What’s all the ruckus out there?” a guard asked, looking out a window to see the kaiju monsters face. “Oh…”

The kaiju monster then slams its fist right into the Central Karmania castle, causing it to fall apart, completely destroying it. The knights look at this shocked.

"Oh no…” Nick said, not sure how to respond.

The monsters keep on moving, as the knights look at the remains of the castle, with several soldiers making it out of the debris.

“Elana and Meritel won’t be happy about this…” Trent said awkwardly.

“Have we failed? These demons are impossible to defeat.” Flinn said, wondering if hope is lost.

“Our odds are not very good, I’ll say that much.” Zero replied, calculating.

“No. As Mai said, never give up hope. The magic of Karmania is on our side.” Cameron reminded.

Suddenly, Cameron, Flinn, Nick, Zero and Trent’s knight stones begin to glow, letting out a musical tune from them.

“Huh, didn’t know our stones could do that. You learn something new every day.” Nick said, surprised.

At the battlefield, the flying monster returns, as the heroes keep attacking it. Suddenly, Roxy, Cynthia, Audrey and Tori feel the same magical tune that the knights have, as it glows on their shirts.

“This is weird” Audrey said, confused.

“I think this is good…I hope.” Roxy replied, as they keep attacking the flying monster, and start to actually damage it, weakening it.

The magical tune begins to spread throughout all of Karmania, as many villagers, beasts and animals hear it across the many kingdoms. Jake and Madison still desperately try to break out of the closing in box, with no luck. As the kaiju monster begins to walk away from the castle debris, it stops when it hears the tune from the stones. The kaiju monster tries to attack, but a magical presence surrounding the knights stops the beast, as it lets out a scream, forcing its hand away. Elana and Meritel see the destroyed castle in the distance, upsetting both.

“The castle, it's gone…” Meritel said.

They then see the kaiju monster being repelled by the magic tune, as it keeps hissing.

“What’s up with him?” Elana wondered, as they approach the knights.

Elana, Meritel, Ranen and Max feel the magical tune flow through them as well, they connect together with the knights. The magic keeps on repelling the kaiju monster, as it flees back to the battlefield, still leaving the purple smoke trails.

“I don’t know what we’re doing, but it’s working! I believe this is their weakness: magical harmony. Malgus is discord, and harmony defeats discord.” Zero realized, seeing his stone glow along with the others.

“I knew it, every demons from beyond have to have a weakness! Sorry about the castle, by the way.” Nick said to Elana and Meritel.

“You know…it’s okay. We can always build another, it doesn't define our history.” Elana replied, getting over it. “Let’s just focus on defeating these monsters once and for all.”

The gang heads back to the battlefield, as the girls are still shining, as they keep weakening the flying monster.

“Everyone, join us in harmony!” Elana yelled.

All of their allies regain their strength, as they begin to magically glow, with the tune flowing through them all.

“This is weird, but I like it!” Diggy said.

Everyone feels it flow through them, as they desperately stand together, continuing to attack the kaiju and flying monsters. However, the magical harmony is already weakening them as is, irritating them. Malgus keeps sitting there, as the heroes get closer to it. With their combined magical harmony, they begin to open a hole through its chest.

“I don’t know if we can kill Malgus with magical tunes…” Cynthia said.

“Probably not, but this should give them enough time to escape at least.” Cameron said.

Back inside Malgus’s stomach, the box is very small now, as it begins to crush Jake, Madison, Skipper and Ramos. Jake and Madison keep desperately punching against the walls, but give up with no luck.

“I always figured I’d go out saving somebody…” Jake said sadly, as Madison comforts him.

“Same here.” Madison replied.

Ramos then places his hand on Jake’s shoulder.

“Hey, nobody gets to choose how it happens. The most important thing is that we’re here together.” Ramos told him.

Suddenly, the four begin to hear the magical tune, as it glows around their bodies. Jake, Madison and Skipper turn back into their powered up forms.

“Do you guys hear that?” Jake asked, listening to the wall.

“It sounds like…everyone.” Madison realized.

A hole begins to open in the wall, as Jake looks through it.

“It is them! Look, we can leave!” Jake said, as he begins to climb through it.

Madison and Skipper follow him through the hole. Ramos holds the Heart of Karmania, as it turns back on, surprising him. Jake and Skipper’s knight stones turn back on as well.

“Sir, come with us! This is finally your chance!” Skipper said, reaching his hand out to Ramos.

“…I can’t do that.” Ramos revealed, shocking them.

“What!? Why? This is your chance to finally live out the life you’ve wanted!” Skipper said, surprised.

“Guys, it’s closing!” Jake warned, trying to hold up the hole.

“I know what I have to do to save everyone from Malgus. I figured out what’s wrong with the heart. I’m not coming back. I’m sorry for ruining your lives as much as I did.” Ramos realized, surprising them.

Ramos then pushes Skipper down the hole with Madison and Jake, as it begins to seal back up.

“Madison, you’ll get this back when I’m done. Goodbye.” Ramos said to them, saluting, as he wears the Heart of Karmania.

“Wait, Ramos!” they yelled, sliding away, as the hole reseals itself with Ramos still in the box.

Ramos is sitting in the cramped box, as it keeps closing in. He is wearing the Heart of Karmania, with the magical tune surrounding him, and an aura coming out of the heart. He looks at the flashing heart, knowing what he has to do.

“I wish to banish Malgus from this world.” Ramos spoke, but an error noise is heard from the room.

“Okay…I wish for Malgus to disappear, I wish for Malgus to disappear!” Ramos spoke, but more error noises are heard, making him panic. “No!”

He then thinks and realizes the true solution.

“I see now. However it has to happen…I wish…to ascend and keep everyone in this world safe.” Ramos said, as a positive noise is heard and a powerful light fills the room.

Madison, Jake and Skipper slide out of Malgus, as the heroes catch them, landing on the ground. The heroes and allies all stand together, looking at Malgus and his monsters. The monsters chase a few of the allies, who run around, when the world around them begins to shake.

“I don’t like what’s happening!” Dolly panicked, trying to hold on.

Malgus then lets out a loud noise from its mouth, as its eyes go cross-eyed. A powerful force is released from it, knocking the heroes and allies all back, as they try to hang on. The world around them begins to flash black and white. The flash completely wipes the kaiju and flying monsters out of existence, as everyone else is protected.

“Hey hey hey!” Talking Tree said nearby, as the blast knocks him over.

Quint and his team show up in a brand new ship, ready for battle.

“We heard there was a war, sorry we’re late!” Quint yelled from the ship, as the ship gets knocked out of the sky by the powerful blast, as the world keeps flashing black and white.

“Ramos did it!” Jake yelled, looking up from behind a rock.

“Yeah Ramos, woo!” Cynthia yelled, surprised, as the heroes cheer for him.

Malgus then lets out a terrifying roar, as the creature begins to transform.

“…But what has he done?” Tom asked, with a somber look on his face.

Malgus keeps transforming, and is reborn in a new form. Malgus looks like Ramos now, as the two have now fused, with Ramos gaining control over the beast’s mind. He is wearing a crown and cape in his new form, looking down at the heroes from the sky.

“Well great, I don’t like this guy either…” Peyton said, worried.

“No…Ramos? Don’t go…” Skipper said to him, walking forward.

“He saved us all. It’s what he wanted more than anything.” Valina realized.

Ramos ascends in his new form back into the portal, and leaves, as the portal closes behind. The Heart of Karmania then falls to the ground, still in tact.

“So…it’s finally over.” Madison said, when Madectrison grabs her leg, still disintegrating.

“Hey Madison…I’m not doing so good.” Madectrison said sadly, as her sparks keep fading away.

“Oh no…” Madison said.

“I just wish I could see the kingdom one more time…” Madectrison said in her dying words, as the heroes look at this sadly.

“Yeah, of course. Let’s go there right now.” Madison replied, as Madectrison is about to fade away.

“That’s okay. Just promise to plant me somewhere…” Madectrison said in her final words, as she disintegrates into the wind.

A small, electric medal is left behind, which Madison picks up. The guardians and knights go to the remains of the destroyed castle. Madison is about to plant the electric medal into the ground.

“You feel ready?” Jake asked.

"I am." Madison replied, as she plants the medal into the ground, covering it up.

Suddenly, a large, electric tree begins to grow out of the ground. It stands tall, looking over all of Karmania from its view.

“It’s beautiful…” Audrey said.

“Yeah, this would make a good painting.” Roxy said.

The heroes look out at Karmania, as the sun shines brightly across the healing land.

“And that’s the end, for real this time!” Nick finished narrating in the future.

“I thought this story was about the end of the world.” Matthew asked.

“It was…from a certain point of view.” Nick replied.

“But what happened to the guardians and knights after that?” Matthew asked.

“Or their friends?” Nicole asked.

“Eh, you know, they kept living life. Thank you for visiting the King of Posidonia. Before you go though, I want you to have this…” Nick was saying to Matthew.

Nick grabs a chest, which is glowing red inside. He opens it to show Jake’s old red knight stone, which he hands Matthew. Matthew is surprised by this, as he happily accepts it.

“As for you Nicole, if you want the Heart of Karmania, you will find it atop the electric tree, and you will begin a beautiful new journey. Goodbye.” Nick said to them, as Zero opens the castle door, escorting Nicole and Matthew out.

“He was very polite for a king.” Nicole said, as they walk down the mountain.

“Let’s go find that tree.” Matthew said, as Nicole agrees.

“That tree should be huge now, it won’t be hard to find.” Nicole reply, as the two run off.

Back in the present, the heroes are seen relaxing deep in the Central Karmania forests together.

“You know, we were close to biting it back there. We would’ve never made it out of there if it wasn’t for you guys, Ramos and everyone else. That magical tune was powerful.” Jake said to the rest of the team.

“The magic of Karmania works in wondrous ways, some of which we’ll never fully understand.” Cameron replied.

"I still can't believe Ramos sacrificed himself like that. To think, our former arch-nemesis saving the whole world..." Madison said.

"He learned to be selfless, like a real king would. It's like poetry." Nick realized.

"I never thought I'd say it, but...I'll miss him, in a weird way. If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't even be together right now." Elana said.

“This experience really made me wonder what the future will hold for all of us.” Roxy said, pondering.

“Whatever it holds, we’ll face the future together. Even if the time comes for us to retire, this magical world’s power will forever be on our side.” Audrey said.

Madison looks at the Heart of Karmania, smiling, as the knights look at their stones. They then go on top of a cliff, seeing a beautiful sunset. The sunset shines on Madectrison’s tree in the distance.

“Now this…this deserves a painting too.” Cynthia said.

“Let’s stay a while and admire this view.” Madison said, thinking about Madectrison, as a nice breeze blows through the air.

That's it, everyone. Special thanks to the people who read this for the past three years, even if only a little. Yes, this is the end of an era. This my final spin-off outing for the foreseeable future it's looking like, and I doubt that will change anytime soon. I'm glad I got to end my run with Mystic Guardians of all spin-offs, as I truly had fun with this. But all good things must come to an end. See ya 'round, kids.

Damn, that's one hell of a series finale, I almost tear up a bit. Honestly, this is one of best finales I've have read. Ramos saved all of them to end the bizare monster. Really liked how the heroes reunited with past enemies and join forces to stop great evil. I also liked the impace of the fight, the comedy, and peace. Jjs, Mystic Guardians is one best spin-off i enjoyed it since the beginning. I'll miss the show as a whole, as well my favorite characters, too. All in all, thank you for bring your spin-off to SBC, and show us what you can do and what SpongeBob has inspired you. for past decade, from tv.com to SBC, this is truly the end of Jjs's Spin-off world, and a great way to end to celebrate SBC's 10 year anniversary.
