Elastic Dawg
Okay, so here's the story behind this. Somewhere between 1984 and 1986, some German kid with a tape recorder taped a partial bit of a catchy song off of the radio. In 2002, they uploaded it to there website in order to identify it. 2 years later, some New Wave forum decides to start doing a little research and see what they can come up with. 3 years later (2007), it's put up on YouTube. Still nothing. Annnd just today, it has been identified as "On The Roof" by Johan Lindell. 11 years. Blows my mind. To be fair, it's not most interesting (or best for that matter) poppy new wave song you'll ever hear, but there's a certain mystique to it. Well, there was, anyway. So here's the full version! Hooray internet!

crushingmayhem
Weird that they never found who the band was until now. Guess its complicated to identity several bands.
Wumbo
Yeah, this is kind of surprising that it took so long to find, unless everybody just forgot about it or something.
