Things happen like school. Sorry. Seriously, I’m sorry. Really sorry. I mean it. Forgive me? The Adventures of Kyle and Carl Chapter 9 Part 2: Campout: May contain scary stories In an ordinary city, in an ordinary world, a group of friends and enemies will have extraordinary adventures! But within that group, 2 people stand out the most. Their names are Kyle and Carl! This week’s adventure is Campout: May contain scary stories part 2! The Adventure Of Kyle and Carl! In an ordinary city Two people living each day Going on epic adventures Doing new stuff their way There’s never a day that’s dull or boring They can’t stay out of trouble or laughter Cause they’re, cause they’re Kyle and Carl!!! 6 A.M. Kyle was curled up in his bed, gently sleeping until he awoke with a loud noise. “Who… was that?” Kyle asked, scared and came outside of the tent. “Carl, is that you?” “Kyle… I’m coming for you… you lied to me,” from a voice that was heard down in the forest. “IT’S THE BODY STEALER!” Kyle yelled. “Get into attack position!” Kyle then jumped into the tent. “You will pay… for lying to me…” the voice said, getting closer. Kyle braced himself then woke up Carl. “CARL! CARL! It’s the BODY STEALER!” “It’s just… a myth…” Carl said sleepily. “No, really! He’s right outside! Trust me! Do something!” Kyle yelled out. “Let me see…” Carl told Kyle. He looked outside the tent. “You’re right!!! It’s headed for us!” “What do we do? Didn’t you say something about a weakness?” Kyle told Carl. “You’re right!” Carl told Kyle. “Water!” Outside… “Fire!” Kyle yelled, throwing bucket after bucket of water onto the ‘body stealer’. “Gurburgukyle…” the ‘body stealer’ said, trying to talk with all the water being splashed on it. “Quickly! Onions!” Kyle told Carl and immediately got 50 onions that he began to throw into the body stealer’s eyes. “AAAGHGHGH!!!” the ‘body stealer’ said, running for Kyle at full speed. “Finisher!!!” Kyle yelled out, then smashed his fist into the ‘body stealer’ ‘s stomach, causing it to fall over and reveal the character. “What? Bryce?!” Kyle said. “It’s worse than I thought! The body stealer stole Bryce’s body! Oh, I should have told him about the pretzel shop!!!” “No… you fool, it’s me!” Bryce told Kyle. “Oh, sorry…” Kyle told Bryce backing off. “You hear of this great pretzel shop?” “Pretzels?!” Bryce told Kyle. “A perfect snack for waiting!” He then ran off… again. “Kyle!” Carl told Kyle. “The sun’s rising! It’s morning! We can finally pick up our video game from the… BAKERY?!?!” “WHAT?! We camped out all night by the bakery?!” Kyle told Carl. “Run to the game store NOW!!!” 10 minutes later… “<pant> <pant>… We’re… here…” Kyle told Carl as they entered the store. “One…copy… of … Super Jump World… Ultra… please…” Carl told the cashier. “You’re going to buy that game?” the cashier asked. “That’ll be $20.” “Thank… you…” Carl told the cashier then collapsed. At Kyle’s house… later… “What kind of game is this?!” Kyle told Carl and Jeremy. “These controls are horrible, the graphics are 16 bit and the sound is… recycled from other games!” “It says here… best game ever,” Jeremy told Kyle. “It’s from an online review.” “This is the best game ever!!!” Kyle shouted out. Next week… hopefully…maybe…probably…certainly…back down to hopefully… “School elections start today!” Gordon boomed through the loudspeaker. For the finale of Season 1… “I have to get that president rank!” Kyle told Carl. “Imagine….” In Kyle’s fantasy… “Here’s your food,” the cafeteria lady said, putting a loaf of ‘meat’ onto Kyle’s PAPER plate. To become president… “We can’t let Kyle do this! He might cause trouble!” Gordon told the faculty. An epic battle is born… “Laminated with super glue vote for me posters!” Kyle yelled out. To obtain power… “The last…vote… is… for…” Gordon read slowly, unfolding the paper.
