145b. Enchanted Tiki Dreams

I loved this episode so much. It's definetly on my top 10 season 7 episodes. I'm glad the writers finally made up for Squid abuse episodes. There weren't too much funny moments in this episode but this episode was very enjoyable. I thought this episode was okay until SpongeBob and Patrick built a tiki World. I really loved the song of this episode so much. I wish Squidward's tiki world didn't get destoryed but at least the tiki boat didn't get destoryed and Squidward turned the tiki boat into a swingset to make his dream last. I thought this episode wasn't funny but there were a few funny parts too. I think the only funny moments are SpongeBob and Patrick annoying Squidward at the begining, Squidward saying "Don't matter to me 'cause... 'cause I'm CRAZY, man!" and the ending. I recommend this episode to everyone, especially to Squidward fans. 10/10

For Nuggets.

 

This isn't an episode I exactly dislike. In fact, I love how Spongebob and Patrick at least made an effort to improve Squidward's day, and the musical number was cool too. But I can't help but notice the amount of praise this episode gets for, quote-on-quote, "fixing Squid abuse". What's hilarious is that its partner in crime, Buried in Time, is a Squidward torture porn. Don't forget Smoothe Jazz, Fiasco, Hello Bikini Bottom, and others. I don't feel this redeems anything. It doesn't even feel it was done on purpose. Sand Castles in the Sand, another solid episode, was done by the hell pairing of Casey and Zeus. In that case, anything is possible.  This is nothing special for the three black sheep. Maybe it's my OCD that couldn't help but point this out, but I stand by my opinion.

 

Band Geeks, Suction Cup Symphony, even House Fancy have Squidward beating the odds, also. 

 

As for the episode itself, the first few minutes are rocky, but the drastic improvement in character actions is outstanding, even if it is just for this episode. 8/10 Joins TCoM and KS as outstanding characterization moments in Season 7, even if temporary. Overrated =/= bad.
