Sabre
Song 1"Alive and Kicking" - Simple Minds Really catchy song from the guys that also sing "Don't You (Forget About Me)" featured in the 80's classic movie 'The Breakfast Club'.Song 2"Daysleeper" - R.E.M. Not the most conventional choice for an R.E.M. but this song is absolutely beautiful. The music and lyrics are some of the most beautiful the band ever did. SG19
I still find it unusual that a 16-year-old listens to oldies music almost all the time, but hey, nothing wrong with being different
Sabre
Song 10 "Rock the Casbah" - The Clash Not everyone's kind of song but I absolutely love it. The chorus is so catchy you'll find yourself humming it for the rest of the week.
Sabre
Song 11 "Songbird" - Fleetwood Mac A beautiful song from the band's best album ("Rumors"; also featuring the songs "Go Your Own Way", "Don't Stop", "The Chain" and no, it's not a greatest hits album!). An extremely soothing and sweet song.
Sabre
Song 12 "Rapture" - Blondie Those of you who know me may know that I dislike rap music. Like, a lot. It's possible that it's due to the fact that Blondie is a great band that this works so well, but it may also be the fact that I don't want to blow my brains out when listening to Debby Harry's voice (compared with many other rap songs of this decade...)
