cicisprinkle Posted November 10, 2012 Share Posted November 10, 2012 I saw the special today (got the DVD for my birthday ) And I absolutely loved it! It was beautiful, and every minute of it felt just like a real SpongeBob episode while adding touches that give it something like a "classic" christmas special. The Patchy segments were okay. While they seem to come out of nowhere at times, they didn't really take over the special. I loved all the songs, especially "Santa's Eyes" and there were plenty of funny moments like Patrick trying to catch Santa, Squidward being a jerk not effected by the Jerktonium, and the Jerky SpongeBot. Again, a great SpongeBob special that is perfect for the holidays. Cool(: Can you try to upload the behind the scenes from the DVD PLEASE! Sebby Posted November 19, 2012 Share Posted November 19, 2012 Just bought the DVD yesterday. Watched it twice already. Definitely a hilarious classic. I'm surprised they were able to pull the stop-motion animation off in such a way that it actually gave the characters even more expression than the traditional animation at times.
