Steel Sponge Posted April 20, 2019 Share Posted April 20, 2019 (edited) I thought of making this thread in the light of the Jonas Brothers reunion, since it got most of us thinking about other teen pop acts from years ago, including Aly & AJ. While Aly & AJ have already made their comeback in 2017, I just wanted to point out not only are they back, but they also still sound really great. Out of any teen pop act from my generation I've had the most nostalgia towards, it was for this group. IMO, some of their older material has still aged well, preferably "Chemicals React" and "Potential Breakup Song." However, I highly recommend their newer material, whereas the duo have reinvented themselves as a synthpop band with "Take Me, "Church," and "Good Love" being my current favorites.
