Spin-Off Festival 6

Yup, you may or may not have seen this coming, but it's coming back again! The Loyal Customers have already seen this, but I'm posting this for everyone to see! 

What is the Spin-Off Festival, if you don't know? The Spin-Off Festival has been an event in the past where we honor people's well-written spin-offs (and Lits...Spin-Off/Lit Festival doesn't roll off the tongue well, okay?  ) with games, events and more! I know, there might be the one wise guy who will say "Spin-Offs & Lits aren't active", yada yada yada, but this is a nice event that always sparks activity in the spin-off/lit section, and might even get newer members interested. Going from May 20th, 2016 to June 14th, 2016, it's back! What is there to expect? Well, it'll have a mix of old things from last year's event, but it will also contain brand new surprises. Here are just a few events and features to expect... 

* Spin-Off/Lit Trivia Contest: Think you know all there is to know about Spin-Offs & Lits? We'll be having a trivia contest similar to past trivia games, and the winner will receive unique prizes. 

* SpongeCraft Tournaments: Yup, even SpongeCraft is getting involved in the event again. These won't be Teams related, so the tournaments will be a relaxed free for all. They will be every Friday night during the event at 8:00pm ET, after Wheel of Fortune.

* SpongeBob Wheel of Fortune: There will be several Spin-Off/Lit Wheel of Fortune games on Fridays during the event.

  * SpongeBob Jeopardy!: There will be three Jeopardy games based on Spin-Offs/Lits counting for SOF6 during the event on May 28th, June 4th, and June 11th. On a bonus note, Jeopardy's 200th (!) game will occur during the event on May 21st, but that won't be Spin-Off/Lit related.

*  Return of Spin-Off/Lit Games & Stores: Just like last year, for a limited time, we'll be allowing users to bring back stores to sell some merchandise related to your creations, and we'll even bring back spin-off/lit games, like Best Creation Ever! In addition to staff made games, if users want to make their own games, go ahead, because we want to give users as much freedom as possible during this.

* The Spin-Off Contest: This will be returning once more. This will basically be a small-scale GCA's, for spin-offs & lits posted during Spin-Off Festival 6, and will honor the best, voted by the community. To be a participant for the contest, you can either make a new creation, or post a new episode of an already existing creation during the event. Any spin-offs/lits participating will be able to use an exclusive "SOF 6" tag to let us know your creation wants to be known during the event. This also be coinciding with the GCA's 8, which is coming up soon.

* SOF Tickets: SOF Tickets will be returning again. This is a sub-currency, like Doubloons. You'll be able to earn these from winning special events during the festival, and you can use these to buy special prizes at a prize store, giving it a real carnival feel. There will be prizes from last year and also new ones. There will be a lot more events and ways to earn SOF Tickets this year, so don't panic if you think you won't get any. Note that if you gained any SOF Tickets last year, those are all gone, and you cannot transfer them over to this year, as everyone is starting fresh.

 * ...and many more surprises I won't announce! 

If you don't write or read any spin-offs/lits, that's perfectly fine. You don't have to necessarily make one to participate in some of these events, but again, participating in this is optional anyways. If you do want to participate, feel free to start brainstorming new creations, new episodes, read other people's stuff, or whatever else you want to do during the event.
