The SpongeBob Community IRC Chat

The SpongeBob Community IRC Chat is a defunct chat for the site, replacing the Xat for safety reasons. It was first released at midnight on August 19, 2012, launching with Orca 8.1. However, just a few days later, the Xat once again became the main one due to negative reception. The IRC Chat was attempted again in May 2013, but once again, it was not well received and shelved.
