Pet or Pests Festival is the current forum event, which started February 12, 2021 and ends February 27, 2021. It is a pets themed event, acting as a tie-in for the American release of the movie Sponge on the Run. Loyal Customers first got a sneak peak of it on January 30, 2021. The event name was coined by WhoBob.

The 34th SWYAD was held during the event. The theme was to change your username to an animal or pet character.

Three games counted for the event. The first one, "Heart on Stick Must Die!" on February 13th, 2021, was a Valentine's Day themed game won by OWM. The second one, "Gary's New Digs" on February 20th, 2021, was a Gary themed game won by dmandaman.
Animovie Screenings
Three screenings will be held during the month on Discord, using its GoLive feature. The first screening was of "Madagascar" on February 13th, 2021. The second screening was of "The Secret Life of Pets" on February 20th, 2021. The third and last screening will be of several pet themed SpongeBob episodes on February 27th, 2021.

The Great Pet Race
A three part game held from February 15th to February 17th, 2021. Four users participated in the game. The overall winner was dman, who received 2,000 doubloons, the Happy Gary collectable pin, and a Pet Race Champion badge.
Animal Photoshopping Contest
In this contest, users had to add an entertaining photoshop to an animal (could be from in real life or from SpongeBob). The winning entry was SOF's, who received 1,000 doubloons and the Happy Gary collectable pin.
Animal Trivia Quiz
A 15 question quiz on animals was held on February 23rd, 2021. The winner was SOF, who received 1,000 doubloons.
