Pet or Pests Festival was a forum event which began February 12, 2021 and ended February 27, 2021. It was a pets themed event, acting as a tie-in for the American release of the movie Sponge on the Run. Loyal Customers first got a sneak peak of it on January 30, 2021. The event name was coined by WhoBob.

Stop What You Are Doing: Animal Edition

The 34th SWYAD was held during the event. The theme was to change your username to an animal or pet character.

As of this event, the game page no longer requires any sort of flash plugin to play them.

SBC Music Parties

On every Friday during the event, a music party was held on cytube.

SpongeBob Pictionary

Three games counted for the event. The first one, "Heart on Stick Must Die!" on February 13th, 2021, was a Valentine's Day themed game won by OWM. The second one, "Gary's New Digs" on February 20th, 2021, was a Gary themed game won by dmandaman. The third and last one, "Animal Crackers" on February 27th, 2021, was an animals themed game won by DarknessDG.

Animovie Screenings

Three screenings were held during the month on Discord, using its GoLive feature. The first screening was of "Madagascar" on February 13th, 2021. The second screening was of "The Secret Life of Pets" on February 20th, 2021. The third and last screening was of several pet themed SpongeBob episodes on February 27th, 2021 (the episodes being: Dumped, The Great Snail Race, Have You Seen This Snail?, A Pal for Gary, Chatterbox Gary and Gary's Got Legs).

The Great Pet Race

A three part game held from February 15th to February 17th, 2021. Four users participated in the game. The overall winner was dman, who received 2,000 doubloons, the Happy Gary collectable pin, and a Pet Race Champion badge.

Animal Photoshopping Contest

In this contest, users had to add an entertaining photoshop to an animal (could be from in real life or from SpongeBob). The winning entry was SOF's, who received 1,000 doubloons and the Happy Gary collectable pin.

Animal Trivia Quiz

A 15 question quiz on animals was held on February 23rd, 2021. The winner was SOF, who received 1,000 doubloons.

Minigames

Shell Shuffle

Users had to pick one of the following shells: red, green, pink, orange, blue or purple. Under the shell, they could receive: doubloons, the Happy Gary collectable pin, an iFish item or nothing. They could only play in this once every 24 hours.

Treat Feeder

Users had to pick one of the following pets to feed: jellyfish, snail, nudibranch, worm, scallop, or sea bunny. If they fed them successfully, they could receive: doubloons, the Happy Gary collectable pin, or an iFish item,

21 total items were added to the store during this event. 8 of them were new items, created by Cha and sbl. The rest are returning items from the May 2019 iFish Character Month. Bold indicates new.
