Attack on the End

Meko, WhoBob, and Hawkbit approach the gateway portal after defeating the Ender Dragon

The attack on the End was the first major trans-dimensional event on SpongeCraft Frontiers. After spending several days searching for and surveying the stronghold beneath Inter Island, on July 12th, 2023, Meko1432 joined together with HawkbitAlpha and WhoBob to take the stronghold's portal into the End, the "final stage" of Minecraft. Together, the trio defeated the Ender Dragon along with a number of Endermen, spawning a gateway portal which led them to an End City. This marked the first time that players of SCF had looted resources from the End realm, most notably when Meko discovered the rare Elytra on an End Ship.
