References from the first movie in the new movie

Here's a thread to discuss anything we see similar in upcoming trailers or the movie itself. First off there's a drawing from Sherm Cohen that was recycled to be in CGI. Then there was purple Perch Perkins returning from the original movie. (Which would chronologically means if Perch remains orange in the rest of S9 and so on he'll go from orange in post to purple in the second movie to orange in s9-onward to purple again in the original movie.)

Also Sauce pointed this out which is probably a coincidence or maybe a drawing recycled from Sherm again? I think it's the first theory.

I don't know if this is just a coincidence, or the fact that they may be recycling drawings and what not, but I noticed that Plankton was making pretty much the exact same face in the new clip as he did in the old movie when he says, "I WILL RULE THE WORLD!"

I dunno, just an observation. The clip was absolutely fantastic, words can't describe how excited I am for this!
