April Fools 2022 was the twelfth SBC April Fools prank. The main theme of this prank is that Plankton over the site again for the third time. It was the final takeover prank.
Pranks
- A "Planktopolis" skin.
- Plankton was made an admin on Discord.
- Mr. Krabs was banned from both the forum and Discord.
- An Eels and Escalators game thread called "The F.U.N. Game"
- The Discord server had various changes:
- The server was renamed from "SBC Chat" to "Plankton Chat".
- Server icon was made a photo from King Plankton, and the server banner was made an image of Planktopolis.
- The bot names were also changed again: MEE6 became "Chip", Unbelievaboat became "Command Module", Chuu became "Karen", Pronoun Picker became "T119A" and Starboard became "SPU-31".
- The category names were changed to the following: SBC became "Planktopolis", Tangy Bobby became "Chum Bucket" and Fake News Media became "Chum Colosseum".
