The Odd Couple

...there we go.  That's the one.

 

I would say discuss the two older ones, but I don't know how many people have seen either of the previous two installments.  Myself included since I only saw the 1998 movie based off the second reimagining.

 

But yeah, the new one is a disappointing pile of shit.  It's more like Two and a Half Men more so than anything else...which to be fair, Two and a Half Men was inspired by The Odd Couple premise.  Either way, the new Odd Couple is far more Two and a Half Men more than a reimagining of a classic like previous Odd Couple installments.  Which slightly bugs me since we just got rid of Two and a Half Men and we don't need the same juvenile humor and the same predictable jokes that we just spent twelve years getting shoved down our throats.  If I have anything positive to say, it's that Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon have great chemistry together, even if the material is watered down.  Oh and that Helen from Drake and Josh is one of the supporting characters as Perry's assistant.
