jdfr03
Doki Doki Panic is a game that was released for Famicon (Famicon is the NES but for Japan) in 1987. The concept was 4 people saving two kids from a frog. This was a year before Nintendo had released Super Mario Bros. 2 (Super Mario USA in Japan) and had needed to make thing appropriate for the games. It's full name is Yume Koujou Doki Doki Panic which means "Dream factory pounding panic".SpoilerFull Longplay:
E.V.I.L.
It kind of sucks that SMB2 was a ripoff, but it still remains one of my favorites. Also, many elements that are here in Mario would have never existed hadn't this game been made.
storytime7
SMB2 wasn't a ripoff, and it's honestly a lot better than the other SMB2 (The Lost Levels).

crushingmayhem
I didn't like this game when I first played it, SMB2 is basically this game with Mario characters, which explains why I found it so awkward compared to the other classic Mario titles.
