  1. Spider-Man: Far From Home with some friends earlier this afternoon; it's a fun movie. I quite liked it but it's far from my favorite Marvel movie for sure. I think what I liked about being with my friends when watching this was that one of them isn't a fan of the MCU Spider-Man at all so I love hearing what he has to say.

And then I watched The Perfect Date with my sister... or really just me watching it and commenting on it whilst she's on her phone come the second half. Pretty amusing film as well. I friggin' love Noah Centineo, and the dude who played his gay best friend - Odiseas Gerorgiadis - is so attractive omg I was literally glued to the screen when he was on.

  2. Sunday:

    • An Ariel QPosket of her in the pink version of her redesign dress.
    • An Ariel tote bag that says "It's A Mermaid Thing" on the sides.
    • A H&M Pride T-Shirt that's white with stripes colored after the Pride Flag.
    • A H&M Pride T-Shirt that's black and is one of those wear you can flip the sequins for an alternate design. One side's got the Pride Flag and the other says "LOVE".
    • A H&M Pride Lanyard with a Whistle attached to it.

    Yesterday:

    • An Ursula T-Shirt from Zara that says "Trouble; What Can I Cause Today?"
    • A Red Checked Shirt from H&M.
    • An Ariel QPosket of her in her wedding dress from the end of the film; it's the cream variant.
    • This Little Mermaid T-Shirt, which I'm wearing today. I love it to bits and have been looking in five different Disney Stores just to find it!
  3. Pretty happy after last night, which was one of the best evenings/social outings I've ever had.

There's a bit of a story to it that I was gonna share on the Discord but decided not to and just hid the draft in another server:

    Spoiler

So [yesterday], I was first gonna meet a friend I've been talking to on the phone for a few weeks for the first time in an arcade in a place around Central London, and had been dreading it the whole time leading up to it because I'd never seen him before and I was scared of the possibility that he may not be who he said he was and potentially end up stabbing me or something, because that's a thing you have to worry about in dodgy areas of the capital. My parents took me for support but during lunch my dad basically had it in for me when he realized I've never met him before, and then he went on about how he wants me to live my life by getting a job/internship and learning to drive even though he never asked how I felt about it all.

He didn't really help me at all in calming my nerves, but I think he wants me to try and be the man he had not yet become when he was my age, but we're different people so...it's nice to know he cares about my own personal being in his own interesting way. So yeah, in regards to the friend I ended up cancelling after he didn't show up after 20-25 minutes, and I found out from my mom that dad didn't actually leave the area like they said they would because he wanted to make sure that my new friend was exactly who I thought he was, so I'm flattered that he cared that much, all things considered, and in spite of the conversation he'd had with me 10 minutes prior.

Buuuut there is some good stuff to say; [last night] I met some old secondary school friends at a shopping center that’s easy to get to for me and I had so much fun with them they literally gave me the positive energy I've been needing after some personal and emotional struggles lately. I’ve missed these people so much and I love them loads. When we were all talking it was like we’d never left our group, and it was so much fun. Gonna try and go out for drinks with one or two of them and we’re all probably gonna meet again so I’m very happy at the end of the day.

So, yeah, I hung out with some of my favorite people on this earth last night and talking to them again felt so right and heaven-sent I couldn't have asked for anything better.

  4. A compilation of logos I made the other day for fun because it made me happy and I just love making logos,.
Some were easier than others (coughcoughtoprightcoughcough)

I wonder...can anyone name all five of the original titles these logos are influenced by?

(also personal favorite is the bottom one - took the longest and required the most steps and it ended up turning out better than I'd intended.)

  5. Third Drawn Together piece in a row! I am on a roll! (do check out the Foxxy piece above too if you haven't! :p)

Also the second crossover Drawn Together piece because the idea has been in my head since I finished the Wooldoor one, At first I was a bit hesitant to start it because I don't tend to draw two human characters together (it's always more complicated than I'd like it to be...), but I pressed on, did it, and it wasn't too bad.

If you don't watch the show, you probably won't understand the joke being made here, but I hope you like it and/or find it funny anyway! ^_^

And if anyone's interest in seeing the progress of this idea, look in the spoiler at Ariel's face in each stage...

    1. Drawing the original sketch.
    2. Scanning in the sketch and making any corrections to the outlines.
    3. Removing all the white background, completely turning down the lightness (so it's all black, with no grey areas)
    4. Applying simple, flat coloring on a multitude of layers.
    5. EFFECTS!

If anyone's wondering, the faces for this piece were drawn separately on the side in the original sketch - I only placed them in their respective places after coloring each body so I had everything done by the time I finally got to the face.

  6. Feral Friends: One of a small handful of post-sequel episodes I've actually had an opportunity to see, and yet it did not make my list, but I do see the appeal of the episode that would incline me to consider it for a future list if I decided to do one next time.

Big Pink Loser: Ah, what a wonderful episode this is. Didn't make my list, but I do absolutely love everything about Patrick in this episode as he tries his damnedest to get some sort of recognition worthy of an award.

  7. Soooooo I'm working on another Drawn Together crossover piece (and by that I mean have yet to color but have otherwise finished modifying the outlines) but in the meantime here's another Drawn Together character I drew just prior to the crossover piece, and since it's a simple profile, the coloring was relatively straight-forward.

    Foxxy Love, y'all!

Definitely one of my favorites of the eight housemates; she's hilarious and also has some sense in her that makes her the closest thing the show has to a voice of reason.

  8. No Weenies Allowed: Not much to say about this one...I like the meme that came from this ep, and the potato salad part, but otherwise it's not an ep that I'd hold in any high regard.

Friend or Foe: Dang, first time an ep on my list is on the Top 50 since IASBC. Again, the fact that it's a special makes it all the better, and it's honestly a sweet little origin story that goes into Plankton and Krabs' friendship, falling out (and ergo subsequent rivalry) and how they made their footing into the fast food industry. The Patchy segments in this episode are also some of my favorites of all the Patchy-featuring specials.

  9. Fear of a Krabby Patty: I like this ep, and the animation in this episode, in particular, is one of my favorite styles the show's ever used. I wish it used it more; the characters look pretty cute and rounder than normal.

Life of Crime: I didn't watch this ep for the longest of times, but it wasn't much when I did finally watch it. I like it but, I don't know, it's not anything I would outright say I like. I do like the whole SpongeBob-teasing-Patrick-with-a-Chocolate-Bar bit. That's funny to watch.

FINALLY!!!! :D Someone else BESIDES me who actually enjoyed watching "Drawn Together" just for the HECK of it! :hysterical: Didn't like the series finale and the movie, but other than that, it was a pretty wild ride!  Enough said! ;)

Don't think I've seen the very last episode, or probably don't remember much about it; can't say the whole clip show episode format was a favorite.
And yeah, the movie was weird. Can't say I hated it but oof, it could be pretty bad in places and it felt really bitter.

  11. You know what show I really, really love in spite of what many think of it? Drawn Together. I first heard of the series when I was 14, long after it was cancelled and a few years after its movie was released, and of course, I'd only truly known of it through Wooldoor Sockbat and Princess Clara, two of the show's major characters which parody SpongeBob and Disney Princesses respectively. It's a wild show with so much wrong with it, but that stuff made it all the more hilarious. It's more of a show you watch for the hell of it and as long as you don't take it seriously (it surely doesn't want you to; this thing has no sense of ethics or morality whatsoever XD) you'll be in for one heck of a ride.

So back in 2015, I drew some of the DT gang quite a bit, and often in crossovers. So since I've been watching some of the series online again (I need to get the DVDs; I do have a Region 1-compatible DVD player at home), I decided to get back into drawing the characters. Here we have Wooldoor meeting his original counterpart, echoing back to something similar I drew back in 2015, but y'know...better.

Also, the background is inspired by the confessional room in the show; it does change color depending on the character I believe, but I know this green, camo-colored one (the default?) is one Wooldoor notably uses.

    • God Himself 1
    • Little Mermaid inspired Eau de Parfum (which goes with - and smells like - the Little Mermaid Body Mist I bought the other week)
    • A camouflage vest (US: tank top) with Los Angeles written across the chest.
    • A Disney Necklace which has the words Be Yourself with a Mickey Heart between them.
    • Two SpongeBob Mystery Plush Key Rings (I got Adorable SpongeBob and Patrick)
    • Alex in Wonderland by Simon James Green.
    • 2 Spider-Man tops where you lift the front of the shirt over your head to reveal the body and a mask on the other side.
    • A Captain America version of the above Spider-Man top.
    • An Alice in Wonderland Pen.
    • A Winnie the Pooh Keyring.

Aaaaaaaand, on eBay, an Ariel pin that's the letter A in the style of Ariel. Looking forward to that coming in the mail!

  12. The idea hit me in the wee hours of the morning and so I was inclined to do it.
Noticed a couple of issues in the version I'd exported when I'd finished it so I just went back to correct those and I also added the flowers because it wouldn't be the SpongeBob logo without a flower somewhere.

  13. Patty Hype: I...don't really have much to say about this one. I like it, but it doesn't really have much going for me. Nice to see it made the list, I suppose.

It's A SpongeBob Christmas: So I managed to contribute to making this episode a part of this list for the first time ever, and this was my #1 so...yay! A lot of the appeal of the episode for me is the fact that it's in stop-motion, even the Patchy sub-plot which is cute and it doesn't wear out its welcome for me unlike other Patchy appearances in specials. I love the songs - Don't Be A Jerk...It's Christmas - most notably. And also this ep very much falls into the "I'm a sucker for specials" territory that influenced a lot of my own list. I prefer this Christmas episode to Christmas Who mostly because I found the plot more intriguing than the last one - and I love the five-o-clock shadow thing the Jerks seem to get with the Jerktonium, and just out of personal preference making it one I'd favor rewatching. It's an absolute darling of an episode in my eyes and the only special with one perhaps competing for its spot having finally seen it with a place in my heart.

  14. Thought I'd keep at having fun with logo designs and tried my hand at a neon sign text effect.
I had such blatant disregard for the tutorial and managed to animate it myself - because it wouldn't truly be a sign if it didn't flash on and off! - so I'm happy that it turned out as well as it did.

    FZLgzIS.gif

I don't know what to even use this with because the background helps make it work and I'll never want to use such a background for a signature...I'll find a way. ^_^

  15. A request from a new friend of mine who wanted me to draw Weiss from RWBY. He's interested in crossdressing as her for Comic-Con in October, and I'm looking forward to seeing him there!
Since I don't watch anime but have drawn anime characters for people in the past and also because I really like him I happily complied and this was the result.

I'm eventually going to color this, but I'm saving that for him. :p

I have another request of his I'm got to think about before I get on with it and then I should be back on my Dream Daddy profile adventure.
