  1. Well, let's just say the Road Song isn't the only godawful part about this episode lmao

This is honestly one of the worst specials from the entire show. It's not exactly Clash of Triton-tier bad but it comes pretty damn close. The first half of the episode is completely awful. I don't believe there are any other episodes that felt like as much of an insult to my intelligence as this part of the episode. The writing is so childish and un-nuanced that it feels like it was either rushed or intentionally half-assed. The Road Song is among the most awful songs of the entire show, and this is the same show that had the songs from Spongebob's Last Stand and Rodeo Daze (which are also terrible). None of the events in this half are connected to each other in any way; one second they're driving, the next they're flying through random locales that are never brought up again, next they go to a hillbilly's car repair service because the car's engine broke down in one of the most drawn-out and pointless scenes of the whole season... So much about this episode's first half is just plain awful. As for the second half? It's not much better. The most I can say about it is that it has probably the sole funny joke of the whole episode (the gift shop scene), but this part also has drawn-out scenes and another rendition of the Road Song (seriously, who thought it was a good idea to reuse an already awful song?). While I don't find this episode to be the worst of Season 8, it sure is among the worst of the entire show, and it's not escaping my bottom 25 (hint hint :funny: ).

    FINAL RATING: 1/10 / F (TERRIBLE episode)

Do you have a least favorite Pokemon?

Hm, that's hard to say. There are definitely a few I'm not entirely big on, but the one I'd say I dislike the most is probably, uhh... Garbodor? But a few from Gens 6-7 are definite runners-up (Crabominable is a big one, along with Carbink and Binacle).

  4. Spongebob: A bit naive and gullible but devoted to his job and caring for his friends

Patrick: Dumb but with small flashes of brightness here and there... not always though

Squidward: Irritable and stuck-up, getting the short end of the stick often as a result; probably a bit depressed on the inside but doesn't show it to others and especially not to his neighbors

Mr. Krabs: Greedy but still caring about his workers deep down... unless they come between him and his money

Plankton: Tries to get the Secret Formula because of a deep-down resentment of Krabs leaving him in the dust years ago

Sandy: A mix of her several personality traits

    Gary: Well, Gary

  6. Terribad episode pair, perhaps the worst of the entire show. I'll get into why I hate this pair so much here:

House Sittin' for Sandy: Oh my fucking god, there are almost no other episodes out there that come close to being as dull, lifeless, uninspired and as much of a waste of time as this one ("almost" due to a few others spread around later post-movie). There is nothing to like here. This episode is full of bad visuals (dried-up Spongebob is this episode's biggest visual sin but there's also half-assed animation and general stiffness), lame dialogue and it boasts an uninteresting plot to boot. This episode ranks among the most frustrating and utterly awful episodes of the entire show, and it is only rivalled by a select few other awful episodes.

    1/10 / F (TERRIBLE episode)

Smoothe Jazz at Bikini Bottom: Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse... Where to start here... Oh, right. This episode's biggest issue is not even the fact that when it's not being awful, it's boring; the main issue is with Patrick's characterization, or should I say lack thereof. His existence is unneeded in this episode and his only reason for appearing is to eat Squidward's concert tickets or backstage passes. I daresay he's even worse here than in the much-reviled Ink Lemonade, as while his character there was basically nonexistent and also made for an uncomfortable and aggravating viewing experience, he's arguably even more awfully portrayed in this episode. And the worst part is, he's getting LAUDED by the crowd at the concert for interrupting the concert and fucking with Squidward even more. I don't even think the plain concept of a "Squidward torture" is inherently bad, as I believe it all comes down to execution, which is why here, this sort of action is utterly terrible. Past Patrick, as mentioned above, literally nothing here is noteworthy or memorable, and that makes an already horrid episode even worse. Overall, there is absolutely nothing to enjoy here, and it, too, ranks among the most frustratingly shitty episodes of the entire show.

    1/10 / F (TERRIBLE episode]

  7. Ultra snoozefest. This episode, being paired with one of the show's most infamous episodes, doesn't seem to be discussed much, but considering how dead this episode's atmosphere and plot are, that's probably for the better. There's barely anything to take note of here; while it's not nearly as atrocious as some of Springer and Pursel's other episodes, this one only gets a free pass due to being peak mediocrity and not utter shit. I guess some of the robot designs aren't bad? But they're not noteworthy either. I guess the ending was an alright moment but most of this episode otherwise is so... lifeless that it doesn't really do anything in particular.

    5/10 / C (MEH episode)
