  1. I just finished it. I'm... not sure if it was good? But I liked it for sure.

J.K. didn't write it, by the way. The way I understand it she helped with the story, but the whole script was written by Jack Thorne (he's the only one credited as playwright).

I just finished this. Totally amazing. Really great writing and characters, amazing acting, super creepy vibe. Thought the ending was a bit... meh, I don't know. It worked. Don't sleep on this one, guys. Couple of thoughts, though

did they find Barb? Or did I miss something? I remember they mention her car disappears and then it gets found by the State troopers and that's what clues Hopper into something weird going on, but, like, after that it feels like everyone almost collectively stop giving a shit about her. Nancy's the only one that kept caring, but after she and Jonathan compare stories and he develops that photo it feels like her goal changes pretty quickly from "gotta find Barb!" to "gotta kill this fucking monster!"

Also, couldn't stand those bully kids at all. Which I get was the point of them, and the writing/kid actors made them really believable assholes, but when they hold Dustin at knifepoint and tell Mike to jump off the cliff they looked really horrified that he actually did it and I don't know what the hell they expected was going to happen. He wasn't just gonna let Dustin get knifed, and they clearly weren't letting go of him anytime soon, so I'm not sure what they thought the outcome of that situation was going to be but it clearly didn't look like they expected him to do exactly what he was told. And then the fucking kid complains to his mom about his arm getting broken like he's the one in the wrong. Like I said, good job to the writers and actors for making everything about those bullies fucking horribly unbearable, but holy crap was everything about those bullies fucking horribly unbearable.

When Eleven was in sensory deprivation she saw Barb dead and said "Gone" and Nancy winced, if I remember correctly.

I really loved this show and can't wait for future seasons. For some reason when I started I assumed it would be an anthology with a different story each season, but now I can't bear the thought of losing these characters.

I don't understand this logic, I really don't. What if these people over 65 want to decide a future for everyone and not just them? I need some kind of explanation on why people are okay with taking away voting rights from people who are too old, because they shouldn't have that right taken away just because of their age. They have just as much of a say in the world as everyone else.

(I'm not saying I support what the older people voted for, though)

I don't really agree with it either! I do think it's interesting how the voting was so drastically different between the age groups though.

Season 2 was great. If you see the full span of the series you'll understand it. If anything was initially hard to get into it was actually the Pilot.

I'm not saying it was bad. I just more enjoyed seeing the clones (and Felix) interact with each other and their personal lives, which was never going to be the focus the whole time. So it's possible the show's just not for me. But I may give it another try sometime soon.
