      It looks really good because it seems to shake up the formula without throwing away the things that made the series great. The sail cloth is back (and looks to function more like the deku leaf from Wind Waker), the magic meter is back, it looks like combat will still be flashy for people who enjoyed Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, exploration seems to be a huge emphasis like in A Link Between Worlds (hopefully the overworld is filled with things to do), etc. Easily my most anticipated game...

    Pokemon Y was way too easy, but I can say I enjoyed it.

      Red/Blue have aged pretty poorly, so it might be a better idea to start with their remakes (FireRed/LeafGreen). Most Pokemon games are pretty easy to get into without needing to play previous entries.
