Part 7: Ye vs. the People (featuring Anthony Fantano as the People) Part I
Anthony Fantano and Yuno Miles give each other piercing stares for a few seconds. A real oh shit moment. However, Fantano blue balls everyone by telling Yuno their rematch will have to wait because he has business with Kanye first. He reveals that after their duel, his mind opened to what it takes to be a true music critic. To restore his honor, Fantano proudly boasts he will be the one that defeats Kanye and saves rap to one-up Yuno. He also knows Kanye’s had his eyes on acquiring The Needle Drop for a while which he refuses to let happen. Yuno isn’t happy to hear when this was his literal job as the protagonist, but Fantano has already rushed in to find Kanye, so the group chases after. They enter ominous abode, looking around at the Illuminati memorabilia covering the room. They also see a copy of Mein Kampf kept behind a glass case. Creepy shit. Suddenly, the lights flicker and a sinister laugh is heard while Runaway's piano opening plays in the background. Kanye appears before them, giving a patronizing clap that they made it here. Kanye admits he’s impressed by Yuno boy’s talent, but he still can’t defeat him. Kanye taunts Yuno by holding up the soul card with Rap Critic’s face on it, making him about to Brooklyn Rage.
Fantano pushes Yuno out of the way and sternly tells Kanye that they have unfinished beef. He will duel him and win, then he’ll have his long-awaited rematch with Yuno. Kanye isn’t threatened so he agrees to the challenge. If Fantano wins, Kanye will leave The Needle Drop alone, forgive his Vultures 2 review and admit he’s an okay critic. If Fantano loses, then Kanye will take his soul and The Needle Drop. Fantano isn’t scared of his magic tricks because he doesn’t believe anyone can lose their soul from a card game in this universe (boy do we have news for him). Since Yuno’s group has nothing better to do right now, they decide to stand there and watch as a bald critic duels the creator of Rap Monsters. The duel starts as Kanye toys with Fantano by playing predictable moves and allowing Fantano to destroy his first few monsters. Right when Fantano tries to summon his Blue-Eyes Melon Dragon, Kanye activates Verse Prophet in response which allows him to take a card if he correctly guesses it. Thanks to his Millennium Microphone, Kanye is able to correctly guess the card Fantano was about to summon. Fantano is forced to give Kanye his Blue-Eyes Melon Dragon. Fantano wonders how Kanye knew what card he was going to play before he could play it (although in this case it’s not like it’s a secret). Without that card in his hand, Fantano is forced to switch his Bald Kaiser into defense. Noticing Fantano looking anxious, Kanye goes into his mind and sees that Fantano plans to use the Not Good trap to destroy any monsters with over 1500 attack points in his deck, so Kanye prepares a counter strategy.
Fantano then tries to use his Not Good trap and Cal the Chuchesta Clown combo to destroy all monsters in Kanye’s deck that have at least 1500 attack. Joey says that if Fantano pulls this off, he wins. However, Yuno replies that Kanye knows it's coming. And indeed, during his next turn, Kanye activates Donda Energy to double the attack of Cal the Chuchesta Clown, which stops Fantano from using Not Good. Kanye then uses his Dark Fantasy Mage, whose attack is also boosted,to destroy Cal the Chuchesta Clown, pushing Fantano into a corner. Kanye rants about how despite everything he did for rap, critics like Fantano and the world turned their backs on him. He took Rap Monsters and gave it a new direction, yet the people still shunned a God. He activates the magic card Yeezy World, which will allow Kanye's monsters to jump into Yeezy World’s album and keep them safe from Fantano's attacks. In addition to this, Yeezy World can transform all of Kanye's monsters into Yeezy Monsters, a special type of monster card only he has access to. Definitely not conceited. He then makes Fantano upset when he summons his Blue-Eyes Melon Dragon and uses Yeezy World to transform it into Blue-Eyes Yeezy Dragon.
Fantano abandons his hand, and starts top-decking. He summons Blue-Eyes Melon Dragon and uses it to attack Blue-Eyes Yeezy Dragon, but the Yeezy dragon dodges the attack. Kanye explains that this was based off Hurricane Katrina, where George W. Bush was able to hide and avoid the tragedy since he doesn’t care about black people. Later, Fantano draws Soundcloud Spell and activates it, immobilizing the Yeezy Dragon and lowering its attack by 700, so Blue-Eyes Melon Dragon can then destroy it. Kanye then activates Dragon Capture Jar to capture it. On Kanye's next turn, he summons Dragon Rapper. Fantano already figures that Kanye will use its effect on his next turn to release Blue-Eyes Melon Dragon and use Yeezy World to transform it into a Yeezy monster. Fantano immediately flip summons Needlestalker and uses it to attack Dragon Rapper, but Kanye uses Dopplerapper to activate the effect of Fantano's Not Good card as the effect of Dopplerapper. After Needlestalker destroys Dragon Rapper, Not Good destroys virtually all the cards in Fantano’s deck. After Fantano runs out of cards, Kanye seals his soul inside a card. The group is horrified at what has transpired, as even they did not wish that fate on Fantano. Despite their feud, Fantano was willing to risk his life for them. Yuno vows to get back his and Rap Critic’s soul when he defeats Kanye. Yuno is ready for his final duel to wrap this crazy adventure up.
Part 8: Ye vs. the People (featuring Yuno Miles as the People) Part II
Yuno enters the dueling ring and makes his terms clear: if he wins, Kanye frees Rap Critic and Fantano. Kanye agrees in a gentlemanly way, but notes if he wins, then he takes his soul and all of the Millennium Items. A lot is riding on the line here. Suddenly, some of Kanye’s guards storm in, who are tasked with apprehending Yuno’s friends as collateral. Yuno protests this wasn’t part of the deal, and Kanye boasts in his glorious kingdom, he can change deals whenever. Joey, Tea and Tristan decide to grow spines and duel the guards. They say they’ll handle these bozos and that they’ll be rooting for Yuno. They remind him one last time to believe in the heart of the cards and lyrics. The three duel the henchmen in off-screen duels so we can say they contributed something to this miniseries. Yuno and Kanye stand across from each other, as a tense atmosphere fills the room. Both shout “DUEL!” and the game begins. They spend the early turns carefully placing cards and feeling each other out. Kanye summons Big Brother, Power Archer and Heartless Bear, while Yuno summons Summoned Subaru, Honey Bun Imp and Indiana Jones, but Indiana Jones gets destroyed by Heartless Bear.
Yuno tries to destroy Big Brother by using a combination of Summoned Subaru, Soundbinding Circle trap card, but it backfires thanks to Kanye’s own trap: Through The Wire, which allows him to use Soundbinding Circle’s effect on Summoned Subaru, allowing Big Brother to destroy it. Kanye then activates his face-down Donda’s Eye, which flips Honey Bun Imp face up and turns it to stone. While Donda’s Eye is face-up on the field, when a defense monster Yuno controls is destroyed, Yuno will take effect damage equal to half that monster’s defense. After more battling that costs Yuno monsters, Kanye activates his face-down card Dopplerapper and targets the fallen Summoned Subaru to use its effect. Dopplerapper is special summoned as Summoned Subaru and then Yeezy World transforms it into Yeezy Summoned Subaru. Yeezy Summoned Subaru attacks and destroys Honey Bun Imp. The effect of Donda’s Eye activates, taking more damage out of Yuno’s life points. Kanye then uses the effect of Yeezy World to hide Yeezy Summoned Subaru within the album of Yeezy World. Things are looking rough, but Yuno refuses to be deterred. Yuno and Yami Yuno devise a plan to counter Kanye’s Millennium Microphone by repeatedly switching control of Yuno's body each turn. They will not even tell each other what cards they place on the field, making Kanye unable to figure out their strategies. This actually gets him worried (!).
Yeezy Summoned Subaru attacks Dank Magician, but Yami Yuno switches back to Yuno, who activates his face-down Money Bag to target Kanye’s Magical Neutralizing Gospel for its effect. Yuno then switches back to Yami Yuno, who uses Money Bag to destroy Yeezy World and Donda’s Eye. Since Yeezy World was destroyed, the monsters that were affected by it are returned to their normal versions, making Kanye about to have another bigoted crash out. Yami Yuno then switches back to Yuno, who activates his face-down Swag Force Mirror to reflect the attack of Summoned Subaru back at Kanye’s monsters, destroying every monster on his side and bringing him down to 600 life points. Actually pissed, Kanye decides to take the duel up a notch by sending it to the Shadow Realm. Yuno’s friends have successfully defeated Kanye’s guards (yes, even Tristan somehow did) and see spooky shadows have covered the dueling arena. Contact between them and Yuno has been cut off and they cannot enter the shadow cloud; they either walk straight through it or return where they started. Inside the shadow, the duel continues. Each monster is maintained by one's willpower and regular Yuno cannot handle the strain of maintaining a monster via willpower alone without an immortal mind or a Millennium Item to ease the burden. Yami Yuno takes over for a time, protesting that Yuno will not survive in such conditions, but Yuno convinces him to switch back and he manages to place a card. Just then, Kanye destroys Honey Bun Imp and Yuno collapses. Despite Yami’s frantic calls, Yuno is gone. This leaves just Yami to duel Kanye, who can once more read his mind and know all his moves.
He then gets a vision of Rap Critic, who tells him that Yuno may not physically be with him, but his spirit still is. When Kanye tries to read Yami’s mind, the card he drew is blocked because of Tea, Tristan and Joey spiritually bonding together to support Yami. Power of friendship, the usual. Kanye fusion summons a terrifying monster known as Thousand-Mics God, which has the OP bullshit effect of not allowing any monsters to attack or change their battle positions. Yami responds with a own fancy ritual summon by activating his face down Eclipse Ritual, which allows him to tribute both Dank Magician and Red Robin (Yum!) to create Magician of Eclipse Chaos. Kanye then tries to activate the effect of Thousand-Mics God to equip Magician of Eclipse Chaos to it, but Yami reveals his set Squidward’s Laugh and activates his face-down Multiply to make Thousand-Mics God target Squidward’s Laugh instead. This causes each mic to be covered by Squidward’s laughing face. The effect of Squidward’s Laugh then activates, destroying itself to negate the effects of Thousand-Mics God and inflict 300 damage to Yami, taking him down to his last 100 life points. Yami wins the duel by ordering Magician of Eclipse Chaos to deliver the final blow. Kanye is left completely shocked at his loss, crying out “Kim, my love, I’m sorry…”
The shadow bubble dissipates away. Kanye’s soul is consumed, however instead of disappearing forever, a new version of him is formed: Kanye East! This is Kanye’s “good half” which was sealed away long ago, and remembers nothing of what his evil half did. He has no intention of being a rapper and instead wishes to become a painter. Hopefully nothing goes wrong there. Yep, we’re gonna easily let him go like that after everything, which is more accurate to Yu-Gi-Oh villains than you may think. Now that the Society of Ye is disbanded, rap is saved and will enter a new era of prosperity. “Oh my god, I can’t believe this!” Rap Critic happily exclaimed as he returns to the mortal plane. He tells Yuno how proud he is of him and knew he made the right choice entrusting this mission to him. He may even give his next album a good review. Fantano also returns, who says he doesn’t owe Yuno any favors for this, but does acknowledge his talent as a rapping duelist. Everyone happily goes home, content with the fact they condemned several famous rappers to eternal suffering in the Shadow Realm, although they deserved it. Now that rap is good again, the group wonders how it evolves from here, and in turn, also wonder where Rap Monsters would go. Tristan suggests rapping card games on motorcycles, which Joey calls a dumb idea and gives the knucklehead a noogie. Rap Critic tells Yuno he must now return the seven Millennium Items to Egypt so the Pharaoh’s spirit can rest for good. Yuno is thankful for the Pharaoh’s support, but he is ready to grow his wings and become his own duelist. But before Yuno is ready to have his emotional goodbye with the Pharaoh, there’s one last thing they need to do together: Their promised rematch with Fantano. Fantano is waiting for them in the streets, ready to duel. Yuno accepts the challenge, activating the Millennium Juul one last time, and the duel begins. How does their duel go? We’ll leave that up to your imagination. That’s all, folks. #TrashBagRecords

Part 6: Frozen Legacies
As Yuno and friends keep following the path, they reflect on how they’ve surprisingly made it this far. Yuno is grateful for the Pharaoh’s talent (which is really the reason he wins oops) and his bonds of friendship. Suddenly, someone with a gold hat approaches, as they feel a chill in the air. The next opponent reveals himself as one of the whitest men who ever lived: Vanilla Ice! His mind is still permanently set in the 90s due to a spell Kanye inflicted upon him, so he spews radical outdated lingo, dudes. He wields the shining Millennium Hat. He starts awkwardly rapping that he heard Yuno has a Pharaoh inside of him, but brags that he is the real Pharaoh of Rap. His deck consist of ice monsters, a subtle reference to how his mind is frozen in time. Vanilla Ice tips his Millennium Hat to let out spooky shadows around the area, making Yuno’s friends chilly. The duel begins.
Vanilla Ice plays his Ice Field spell card, transforming the dueling area into snow to give his ice monsters a boost. He plays the Ice Ninja and sets a face down card, bragging it’s getting funky in here. Yuno plays Spider-Man and the spell card Mystical Rizz Typhoon to disable the face down trap card, so losing that has already screwed Vanilla Ice’s strategy. Yuno then takes a good chunk out of his life points with Spider-Man. Vanilla Ice then plays Party Polar Bear to fight Spider-Man, but Yuno raises its attack points so they're equal, causing both monsters to lose. Tea scoffs this is the best talent Kanye could afford for his last henchman? Vanilla Ice whines that he should win because he too was a rapping pharaoh, but Yuno disses his talents because he hasn’t made smart moves and his monsters aren’t that great. Vanilla Ice finally self-reflects and realizes that his managers rigged his rap battles because they feared he would punish them for losing. They also forced him into dogshit performances at that one Houston Texans game (which made them lose, true story) and Mar-a-Lago. Yuno decides it’s time Vanilla Ice learned how to really duel and rap, as he plays Honda Civic.
Vanilla Ice summons Rosta Penguin which is able to take advantage of the Ice Field. It pushes Yuno to a corner by destroying Honda Civic, but he soon makes a comeback by summoning Dank Magician. However, Dank Magician is frozen in place thanks to Vanilla Ice’s trap card, Stuck as Ice. Vanilla Ice is impressed he’s actually had to use his brain for once in his life during this duel and is enjoying the thrill. Yuno then draws the fabled spell card Pot of Greed, so he explains how it works: It lets him draw two more cards. Tristan still doesn’t understand how it works; can’t blame him, it’s very complex. The extra cards give Yuno the advantage he needed. He activates the spell card Fire Fists which thaws Dank Magician out of his icy prison and increases his attack points. Dank Magician defeats Rosta Penguin, wiping out the rest of Vanilla Ice’s life points.
Vanilla Ice is upset because he realized his life was a lie, but he is happy that Yuno was able to give him a worthwhile duel. His soul is consumed, leaving behind both his soul card and the Millennium Hat. They have six Millennium Items now, and only one remains with their final boss, Kanye. Now they have to face their biggest challenge yet. As the group approaches Kanye’s asylum castle, they see a shining bald head and know it can only be one man's. They are surprised to see Anthony Fantano on the steps waiting for them, who has defeated two of Kanye's security guards in an off-screen duel. Their main source of confusion is how the hell he beat them so fast when they’ve been hiking for hours. Here’s your answer: Screw the rules, he has airplane fast travel!

Part 5: The Washed Smoker
Kanye is seen inside his asylum castle, holding onto the card containing Rap Critic’s soul. He admits Yuno is a better duelist than anticipated, but boasts he will still be no match against his mighty talent. That Joey Wheeler duel also happened who Kanye shrugs off. Kanye then orders his next minion to take down Yuno or any of his friends. He then hugs his Dropout Bear plush for luck and comfort. His next minion is standing in the shadows letting out a quaint smoke, who ominously says he’s gonna drop Yuno...like he’s hot. Yuno and friends make their way to a beach, enjoying the view. Snoop Dogg strolls down the beach and greets them, humming the tune of Crip Your Enthusiasm. He introduces himself as Yuno’s next adversary and rambles about how humans don’t respect the ocean enough. This segues into explaining he uses an ocean themed deck, a subtle reference to how washed up he is. But there’s a twist: The ocean creatures are all drug themed, bet you didn’t see that coming. Tristan says he thought that someone named Snoop Dogg would’ve used a dog themed deck, consider his expectations subverted. Before dueling though, Snoop offers them to get high and drink some fresh water. Yes, that link was an actual song Snoop contributed to and explains the ocean theme.
After enjoying the smoke and water session, the duel is on. A duel ring rises out of the sea and Yuno activates the Millennium Juul, allowing Yami to take over. Snoop plays his Weed Shark in attack mode. He then takes a rip of his Millennium Bong, as the smoke covers his field and allows his monsters to safely hide in the ocean. Whoa, an actual clever strategy. This powers them up and lets them strike Yuno unaware. Deciding to go on the defensive, Yuno summons the Honey Bun Imp in attack mode. However, Weed Shark attacks the Honey Bun Imp and destroys it, costing Yuno 260 life points. Still, Yuno now has an idea how Snoop’s strategy is and summons the Thunder Giraffe in defense mode, knowing that its electrical attacks will vaporize the Weed Shark no matter how deep it is underwater or covered by smoke. However, Snoop says he's well aware of the Thunder Giraffe’s powers and sets his Cocaine Jellyfish in defense mode.
On his next turn, Yuno equips Thunder Giraffe with the Light Up Sketchers, increasing its strength to 2000 attack points. Joey realizes Yuno’s strategy, as using an electrical attack will fry any sea monster Snoop has. But when Thunder Giraffe attacks, Snoop’s life points do not go down and Joey wonders if he’s still feeling the weed’s effects. Snoop explains that his Cocaine Jellyfish absorbed the electrical attack and protected itself and the Weed Shark, who destroys Thunder Giraffe. Snoop laughs triumphantly as Yuno realizes he's not only fighting Snoop’s monsters, but he's also fighting the sea. Afterwards, Yuno summons Ruff Ruff Wolf and equips it with the Mystical Moon magic card to double its attack points. However, Snoop points out that the moon will doom Yuno as it controls the tides of the sea. The moon's power makes Snoop's smoke foggier. To prove his point, Snoop summons Perc Barracuda and has it destroy Ruff Ruff Wolf with a massive tidal wave. After the attack, the field on Yuno’s side is covered in water, with only one spot left to play a monster. Yuno’s friends are worried but they calm their worries by believing in the power of friendship, you know, the usual.
All Yuno has left is a small island of land, and with Snoop’s Weed Shark on the field things don't look good at all. This all comes down to his next draw, so Yuno believes in the heart of his cards. He luckily pulls Indiana Jones and has it destroy his own Mystical Moon with his whip, which is a thing you can apparently do. Snoop asks if he’s higher than him, then realizes what this did. With the moon gone, the fog and tides recede, so Snoop’s monsters are smoked by the Fire Land spell card. Snoop accepts his loss, but not before he goes on an unhinged rant about how he lost due to woke propaganda in animated movies or whatever the fuck. None of the gang really cares as the shadows consume his soul. The Millennium Bong is left behind along with his soul card. Two items to go. Yuno’s group sees Kanye’s castle getting closer in the distance, knowing they’re on the right track.

Part 4: Joey vs. Slim Shady
Yuno’s friends make their way further through the Yeezus island’s exotic sights, arriving near a mountainous terrain. Seeking his promised character development, Joey wishes he could be as good as a duelist as Yuno someday. Yuno reassures him with the usual spiel that as long as he believes in the heart of the cards and lyrics, he can do anything. Yuno gives Joey his Time Wizard to add to his deck for good luck, literally and figuratively. Suddenly, out of the shady shadows appears Eminem, Kanye's next minion. Tristan exclaims he can’t believe it’s the real Slim Shady! Eminem greets them by rapping: “That’s an awfully hot coffee pot, should I drop it on Yuno Miles, probably not, but that's all I got 'til I come up with a solid plot!" Eminem uses a dinosaur themed deck, a subtle reference to how old and out of touch he is. Yuno starts giving shoutouts to the dinosaurs, ready to duel. But Joey offers Yuno to step aside for a well earned break, wanting to prove he can rely on himself and defeat Eminem. Tristan doesn’t think this is a good idea since if he loses the duel, he loses his soul, but Yuno trusts in Joey’s strength. Joey says he’s one rapper who’s not afraid to diss Eminem and challenges him. Eminem scoffs Joey off as a third rate duelist, but will accept the challenge as he senses this will be over quick. He warns Yuno he’s next after he beats Joey.
Eminem then reveals his Millennium Item: The Millennium Bling, a fancy shiny ring around his neck. Spooky shadows appear around the area again and echoing through the shadows are Eminem’s pissy diss responses to critics, which try to throw Joey off balance. Tea fears Joey has no chance, but Yuno believes in him. The duel begins. Joey doesn't do well initially, having his Baby Dragon destroyed by Eminem’s Two Bump Heads King Rex. Eminem’s monsters also gain a power bonus thanks to the mountain field effect, putting Joey at a further disadvantage. He manages to rally with Axe Raider and Flame Swordsman against Two Bump Heads King Rex and Godzillowler. But it doesn’t last, as Joey’s monsters are soon destroyed by Closet Cleaning Raptor. Eminem offers Joey a chance to surrender so he won’t suffer a completely humiliating defeat. It takes him remembering his well-developed friendships with Yuno, Tristan and Tea to help him keep fighting. Joey uses the Swamp and Lava Battleguards as a team to deflect Eminem’s attacks, but the dinosaur duelist has a powerful dragon waiting in the shadows: The Red-Eyes Slim Shade Dragon. While less powerful than Fantano’s Blue-Eyes, the dragon is versatile and strong, and Joey has nothing that can stand against it. Especially not once Eminem plays Dragon Nails to boost his power to that of Blue-Eyes.
Eminem then wagers Joey his Red-Eyes for the Time Wizard card he'd intended to combo with Baby Dragon. Joey is putting all his faith into Time Wizard’s luck. He then Flip Summons Time Wizard, wiping the smile off of Eminem’s face, and casts its Time Roulette effect. If the effect fails, his monster will self-destruct and take out the few Life Points Joey has left. But by sheer luck, Time Wizard’s roulette lands on a Time Machine, which ages Red-Eyes Slim Shade Dragon into a fossil and collapses it into dust, netting Joey the win. Joey brags that Eminem felt the full power of his Brooklyn Rage and is proud to be more than a third rate duelist, even though his win came down to rolling dice. Yuno gives Joey an approving thumb up and cliched moral certifying his character development. Eminem is about to lose his soul and a tear is brought to his eye, as the duel reminded him of when he put heart into rapping. He throws his Red-Eyes to Joey, recognizing he earned it fair and square. A card with his at peace face is left behind. Yuno picks up the Millennium Bling; three items remain. After witnessing one of the world’s most famous rappers die before them, Yuno and friends decide to have a jolly camp for the night.
Meanwhile, Anthony Fantano has been on a quest of self-discovery following his defeat to Yuno. Fellow music critics and rappers think he’s cooked following his historic defeat against Yuno, which has been talk of the world. Anthony is not letting the mockery ruin his mojo, but he did realize he’s been viewing Yuno wrong all this time. He then hears through the grapevine that Yuno and friends went to Yeezus Kingdom for some reason. I’m also not sure if anyone knows Rap Critic went missing. Anthony realizes what must be going on here, and he too has beef with Kanye after his brutal takedown of Vultures 1. Anthony knows he must be the one to face Kanye and save rap. He books a flight to Yeezus Kingdom. Dun dun dun.

Part 3: The Drake Part
Tea decides to contribute to the plot by searching on Google for Kanye’s whereabouts. They learn he’s holed up at an asylum on his private island: Yeezus Kingdom. Conveniently, Kanye left them a cruise ticket to his humbled abode inside the package, as his arrogance is hungry for the challenge. Yuno is eager to get Rap Critic’s soul back. They pack their things and head to the boat’s location. One of Kanye’s minions is waiting for them, who escorts them on board. They are then greeted by Drake, much to their disappointment as they were hoping for someone else. He claims he was “invited" by Kanye to collaborate on their next album, though they sense something isn’t right. Joey whispers they better hide any kids on the boat, and Tea is concerned he might be checking her out. Drake congratulates Yuno on defeating Anthony Fantano with Tupacia. He’s always wanted to see the legendary cards up close. Yuno, none the wiser, shows him the cards and Drake looks impressed. He then walks to a railing, and the group panics, realizing what that crazy asshole is about to do.
“SAY GOODBYE TO TUPACIA!” Drake yelled in a nasally voice, as the five cards go flying overboard into the sea, thus taking away Yuno’s trump cards. Joey calls him one of the dumbest motherfuckers who ever lived because a real talented duelist would’ve, y’know, kept the cards that auto win the game. Hell, Tristan says even he wouldn’t be stupid enough to do that. Drake is infuriated so he challenges Yuno to a duel when they reach Yeezus Kingdom. Drake disses him by saying he has no talent and only got lucky due to Tupacia. Yuno accepts, saying he can defeat him without Tupacia. The boat docks at the island, and they chase Drake into a forest. Drake then pulls out his own Millennium item: The Millennium Headphones, which lets him drown out the world and any insults thrown at his fragile ego. He activates the Headphones and a shadowy mist covers the area, turning the forest freaky. Drake reveals that to add stakes to this game, whoever loses the duel…loses their soul (!). Tea jokes that she didn’t think Drake still had a soul. Tristan warns to Yuno, “If you lose the duel, you lose your soul!” just so he really knows the stakes here. He really looks out for his friend.
The duel begins with Drake playing his Killer Nokia and Hotline Beetle bug monsters. Drake reveals another twist in that due to the forest setting, his bugs receive a defense boost. Yuno fights valiantly, but not knowing all of the bullshit boosts puts him at a disadvantage. However, he uses Drake’s overconfidence against him, luring him into a trap with Swag Force Mirror that destroys all of his insect monsters on the field. Drake’s life points are taken down to 555. When Drake places the Cocoon of Evolution on the field, though, it's only a matter of time before whatever's lurking inside hatches. It makes nasty noises that sound like Drake trying to flirt. Knowing he has to destroy Drake’s cocoon before the creature inside can hatch and wipe him out, Yuno uses a Fire Land card to wipe out the forest surroundings, allowing Jackie Chan the Fierce Knight to destroy the cocoon. However, the Certified Freak Mottho, while not as strong as it would be, had evolved enough to hatch. Its power puts Yuno at a severe disadvantage thanks to its poison. Yuno activates Polymerization from his hand to fuse Curse of the Rapper with Jackie Chan and fusion summon Jackie Chan the Rapping Champion in Attack Position. But even Jackie Chan the Rapping Champion isn't enough to stop the Mottho. Tristan reminds Yuno yet again that if he loses the duel, he loss his soul. Yuno thanks him for the astute observation. Yuno is able to turn the match around with the spell card Celsius the Magical Mist and Summoned Subaru, which electrocutes the Mottho and wins him the game. Yami Yuno finishes his verse by scolding Drake that he won his duels by lying, creeping and cheating, but a true champion plays with honor.
Drake suffers a worse panic attack than the one he had when Not Like Us first dropped. His Millennium Headphones act freaky and he screams out in horrifying agony, being consumed by the shadows. Drake’s soul (what little he had left anyways) is taken away and all that’s left behind is a card with his face on it. Yuno picks up the Millennium Headphones, keeping it safe in his backpack. Three down, four to go. They’re one step closer to saving his best friend, Rap Critic, much to Joey’s annoyance. As for Drake’s soul card, it was left there with nobody giving a damn. “Yuno…if you lose the duel…you lose your soul!” Tristan reminded one last time despite the duel being over. Oh Tristan. The group makes their way deeper into the island. As for the Tupacia cards, those remain lost at sea and will never be recovered.

Part 2: The Mic is Thrown
After defeating Anthony Fantano, life returns to normal for Yuno and friends. Joey wants to learn how to play Rap Monsters properly after a loss to Tea, vowing to train under Rap Critic. Tristan continues to be vitally important to the plot, doing his thing. Rap Critic is proud of Yuno for his victory and honored that his teachings paid off. He says he almost views Yuno as his own grandson, wink. Rap Critic says as the mentor, it’s finally time he told Yuno the obligatory backstory and what he’s been training him for. Rap Critic reveals that a secret powerful society of men have been controlling rap, bringing upon the plagues of mumble rap, Swedish song writers and more that has hurt the art for the past few years. The society stole the remaining Millennium items and want to use all seven’s powers for a sinister purpose. However, Rap Critic was able to secure two of them from their clutches: the first being the Millennium Juul which he gifted to Yuno, and the Millennium Album, which he keeps locked away inside his shop. He says Yuno is the one destined to defeat this group and save rap by believing in the heart of the lyrics (and his cards). Yuno is ready to take on whoever else comes his way and thinks he’ll cook them even faster than they did Fantano. However, Rap Critic tells him to hold his horses because they still have training to do if he wants to defeat the group. Yuno mixes together his personal deck and Rap Critic’s.
At the asylum, Kanye West is revealed to be the ringleader of the society that Rap Critic speak of: The Society of Ye. He’s dressed up the place with creepy Illuminati themed digs. Once a brilliant respected rapper, he suffered a serious mental break due to the loss of his wife, causing him to turn to the dark arts and repulsive world views. His quest lead him to Egypt, where he discovered ancient tablets depicting the Shadow Rap Games and Millennium items. Inspired by the tablets and to make himself relevant again, Kanye created Rap Monsters from the tablets! Yep, we’re getting all the lore out of the way now. Upon learning Yuno has the Millennium Juul, his curiosity shoots up harder than his dosage of medication. Kanye says he’ll let Yuno finish, but he has one of the best mic drops of all time ready…
A package for Yuno is delivered to Rap Critic’s record store; I guess the Society of Ye controls the postal service too. Everyone is shocked to see it’s from Kanye West himself, who they know as that once famous rapper who kinda went crazy and created Rap Monsters. Yuno credits Kanye for his career and wonders if he’s congratulating him. Inside the package contains a disc and he puts it into the television, where he is stunned to find Kanye challenging him to a duel in real-time! The Kanye on the tape reveals he also possesses a Millennium Item—the Millennium Microphone—and, using its powers, freezes time and draws Yuno through the tape into the Shadow Realm where the monsters are as real as they are. Scary shit, man. Kanye challenges Yuno to a duel to test his skills. They'll play for fifteen minutes, and whoever has more Life Points at the end will win. However, the Microphone allows Kanye to read Yuno’s mind, look through his voice, and thus counter every strategy he has. Kanye then reveals to Yuno that Rap Monsters isn't actually his game and he merely sampled it. It existed in Ancient Egypt long ago, where deadly Shadow Rap Games were played until a Pharaoh sealed them away with the Millennium Items. And if you read the exposition in episode 1 then that ain’t new. He adds that there is magic inside the Juul that would change Yuno’s life if he knew how to harness it.
Kanye simply throws down a card face-down, then tells Yuno he won't win with the Dragon card he's holding, shocking Yuno, as he is indeed holding the Cheeseburger Deluxe Dragon card. Kanye claims to be able to know every move Yuno will make before he does, and proves it by playing Dragon Capture Jar to steal Yuno’s Cheeseburger Deluxe Dragon. Kanye plays the Dragon Rapper to brainwash the Cheeseburger Deluxe Dragon and use it against Yuno, delivering his own lyrics back at him and taking away a good chunk of his life points. Yuno’s heartbroken his idol would do this to him and is struggling on how to counter this. He prepares to play Indiana Jones, until he realizes that Kanye is using the Millennium Microphone to read his cards. He decides to play a card without looking at it, figuring that if he doesn't know what it is, neither will Kanye. He pulls a card from his deck and places it on the field. Kanye, expecting Indiana Jones, placed the trap card Gold Digger, but Yuno reveals his card to be Dank Magician, nulling the effect. It attacks and destroys Cheeseburger Deluxe Dragon, making Yuno take the lead. Kanye credits the clever move, but brags it won't be enough to defeat his genius.
After more moves, Kanye summons the Dark Fantasy Mage and entrances the Dank Magician with the Freestyle of Illusion. Just as Yuno is about to strike back with the Summoned Subaru, unfortunately it’s too late because the timer runs out. He loses by default, which is some bullshit tbh. As punishment, Kanye takes Rap Critic’s soul away. He brags that Yuno will have to come to him in order to save him…but not without facing his minions along the way! Yuno wakes up back in the real world and clutches the television as Rap Critic’s soul fades from view. He shouts out “Oh my god!” one last time before disappearing. Everyone cries. Yuno yells “IT SHOULD’VE BEEN ME, NOT HIM! IT’S NOT FAIR!” in an award worthy performance and vows to get his best friend back. Before you question “isn’t Joey his best friend,” how about both.
Back at the asylum, Kanye tasks the rest of his henchmen to defeat Yuno and his friends. He sends Drake up first, who utilizes a disturbing freaky deck…of bugs. Hopefully just bugs.

In this miniseries parody of Yu-Gi-Oh, famed rapper Yuno Miles embarks on a quest to save rap from the forces of evil.
Backstory: The history of rap is said to extent 5,000 years into the past to ancient Egypt. Ancient lyrical games serve as magic ceremonies to foretell the fortunes of men and kings and even to change a person's fate. Such ceremonies were known as Shadow Rap Games. In the modern day, a certain upstart rapper takes a hit of the mysterious Millennium Juul, which inside houses the spirit of an ancient pharaoh. He becomes heir to the Shadow Rap Game. This man, who possesses two hearts — one of light and one of darkness — was known to men as "Yu-No-Miles!"
Part 1: The Heart of the Lyrics
After that bit of exposition, we're taken to a QueUp Festival, where Yuno Miles is teaching his Italian friend Joey Wheeler how to play Rap Monsters, the hottest children’s card game on the planet where you rap while playing cards. Then we are introduced to Yuno’s other friends: Tea, the token woman of the group, and Tristan, who has so much hidden character depth it won’t be properly explored in this series. Tea explains the rules to Tristan, such as how the higher a monster’s attack points, the more powerful your verses are. Fellow attendee, music critic, and one of the top ranked duelists in the world Anthony Fantano (who recently gave Yuno’s debut album a negative review, so they have beef) isn’t interested in their conversation at all—until he hears that Yuno’s friend Rap Critic, who runs a record store and taught Yuno everything he knows about the game, owns an extremely rare card. Fantano decides to check it out for himself.
At the record store, Rap Critic proudly displays his Blue-Eyes Melon Dragon, of which only four exist in the world. The card is famed for its unstoppable power as much as its rarity and baldness, which makes Anthony Fantano the perfect person to barge in and attempt to obtain it. While he offers the rival critic a briefcase full of rare cards and as much money as he'd ask for, Rap Critic refuses — the card was a gift from a dear friend of his. Fantano leaves in a huff, but still plans to get his hands on the card by any means necessary.
Fantano orders his fans to kidnap Rap Critic under the guise of challenging him to a duel. Rap Critic does duel Fantano, but it ends poorly; “Oh my god, I can’t believe this!” Rap Critic yelled in defeat. Yuno only finds out about the preceding events when Fantano himself calls to tell him his friend isn't feeling well. Yuno and his friends rush to The Needle Drop studio, where they find Rap Critic has failed to defeat Fantano and lost the Blue-Eyes. To twist the knife, Fantano tears the card in two so it can never be used against him. The shock of losing the duel and the card proves too much, but Rap Critic gives Yuno his deck to teach Fantano respect for the cards and lyrics. Yuno’s friends agree to take him to the hospital while he faces Fantano alone. Before they leave, Tea draws a smiley face on all of their hands as a symbol of their friendship. You could say they’re…the Smiling Friends.
Yuno faces Fantano, and the Millennium Juul begins to glow, allowing the pharaoh’s spirit to take over. Now taller, sterner, and much more confident, Yami Yuno is determined to defeat Fantano and avenge those he's hurt. The Duel begins to the beat. Fantano toys with him at first, saying wannabes like him are why rap has declined and reminds him that his album sucks. He then unleashes his own Blue-Eyes Melon Dragon, surprising Yuno. Soon, all three Blue-Eyes are on the field, and even Yuno most trusted card, the Dank Magician, has fallen before the dragons. Defeat seems near, but Yuno realizes that the four, seemingly useless cards gathered in his hands are actually parts of a greater puzzle. He draws the last piece of Tupacia the Forbidden One, which wins the duel instantly. “TUPACIA, OBLITERATE!” Yuno commanded. Fantano is shocked at losing for the first time in his life. Yami Yuno punishes him with one of the coldest freestyles ever spat. It goes so hard it crushes Fantano’s mind and expels the darkness within his heart. It open his mind to the heart of the lyrics and Yuno’s musical talents.
Rap Critic awakens unharmed, and realizes Yuno is the one he’s been waiting for who will save rap. Meanwhile, in an asylum, a mysterious man with a golden microphone is told that a rapper named Yuno just beat Anthony Fantano in a duel...

For the first time ever, we are doing a Best SBC Events Countdown to celebrate our event catalog! Our events have become our most iconic feature, so as a community we’ll rank which are the greatest up until this point. All you have to do is a submit to me (whether through PM or Discord DM) a top 10 list of your favorite SBC events over the years. If you’ve forgotten our events or need a refresher of what occurred at certain ones, here’s a complete list with links to their respective wiki pages. Couple of guidelines:
- You do not have to have physically been at the event to put it on a favorites list if the information about it intrigues you, though it would be a more authentic list if you were.
- If you want to include an event with multiple editions (Octerror Fest, Snowcember Ball, Arcade Anarchy, March Madness, etc) but can’t pick a standout favorite, then you can just list the series.
- The following are not eligible for this list: Version launch parties, Stop What You Are Doing and Golden Community Awards. Anything else that’s on the document linked above is fair game.
The deadline to submit a list to me will be by January 23rd but I can extend it if need be.
For a smaller side gift, several past holiday collectables are available for a limited time in the store! We’ll also be doing our traditional Christmas party and raffle on Discord, so join that to win some more gifts! Have a great holiday season!
