Throughout 2011, several users impersonated WhaleBlubber, but the real one never returned. In July 2012, this would be confirmed when Whaleblubber told SpongeSebastian in an email that all of the Xat appearances were not in fact him, but a member trying to play on the other members' absolute fear of WhaleBlubber.
