i think it's long overdue.

we probably don't have many metal fans here, but for the few of you that dare, this will be our haven.

discuss any metal news, good EPs/albums, whatever subgenre you've gotten addicted to that nobody cares about, terrible screamo, cults you've recently joined/30 minute instrumentals you've recently listened to, yadda yadda.

Hell yeah, man. I wouldn't consider myself a big metalhead by any stretch of the imagination, but I do like doom, gothic, industrial, NWOBHM, and sludge stuff a lot. Some lo-fi black stuff i'm okay with, too (and i'm a sucker for bad demos, haha). I'm not big on death metal, though. It all sounds a little same-y to me (besides the Chuck Schiledner (I totally fucked up the selling, whatever)'s brilliant Death). Here's a couple faves:
