The spin-off I'm most known for, I would assume. Shame it only lasted a few seasons.

Season 1

Series Premier: Retiring from Retirement

Evil is running a muck in Bikini Bottom, after The Kelp Thing got everyone back together for the most diabolical scheme ever: Destroy Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. Of course, Mermaid Man is so out of it, he doesn't pay attention to the threat, but Barnacle Boy does, and goes off to fight them alone. A few days have passed, and Mermaid Man finally figures out his sidekick is missing, and wants to go find him, but he doesn't know how. He gets struck with an idea, literally! A rock is thrown through the Shady Sholes window and hits Mermaid Man in the head, a note is attached to the rock, which reads "If you ever want to see BB again, follow the instructions". Mermaid Man doesn't know what that means, so he gets on the phone, and dials in the IJLSA for help. In the MermaLair, they come up with a plan to get all the villains in jail, and save Barnacle Boy, that is, if they can find them. Desperate for help, Mermaid Man seeks out Spongebob and Patrick, because they will know exactly where the villains are (going by the name Evil Darkness). Spongebob and Patrick are ecstatic that they get to help Mermaid Man and the IJLSA, that they lie to them about them knowing where Evil Darkness is, just so they can spend the day with them. After threat of disbandment from the Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy Fanclub, Spongebob and Patrick finally lead Mermaid Man and the IJSLA to Evil Darkness' secret hideout- The Krusty Krab! Barnacle Boy is trapped in the freezer, as The Kelp Thing, The Dirty Bubble, ManRay, and The Moth begin eating Krabby Patties. Mermaid Man challenges Evil Darkness to a battle, if they (Mermaid Man and the IJSLA) win, then they get Barnacle Boy back, which Evil Darkness accepts, because they noticed Mermaid Man didn't say anything about leaving Bikini Bottom. When the battle begins, Evil Darkness forfeits and gives Mermaid Man the key to the freezer, but promises that they will be back soon, with help.

Episode 2: Keeping Regular

The IJLSA has realized that they aren't strong enough to confront Evil Darkness by themselves, so they hold open auditions for apprentice spots. After about 100 people, they find four, Jack and John, twins who share the love for Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. Unfortunately, Spongebob and Patrick are the other two. The IJLSA decides to have a trivia challenge, whoever gets more questions right, gets to be apprentices. Before they can start, Evil Darkness strikes with their newest members, The Atomic Flounder, and Dr. Ash. Dr. Ash is a clone of Captain Magma, except eviler. As they crash through the wall, Spongebob and Patrick start freaking out and fanboy them, whereas Jack and John spring into action, whipping out their own Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy memorabilia, a replica of The Orb of Confusion and The Cosmic Ray. They put them both together, placing the Orb in the firing hole, and when shot, will propel the Orb forward, releasing all it's energy in a spiral, confusing everyone in it's path, and within a 20ft diameter. They fire it, and it hits its mark on Dr. Ash, who becomes confused, but, the cosmic shot is still to come, which directly follows the Orb, crashing into The Atomic Flounder, destroying the opposite wall. Jack and John tell The IJLSA that they can finish them off, The Quickster sprints around both The Atomic Flounder and Dr. Ash, making them both incredibly dizzy. The Elastic Wasteband stretches out to grab them, and flings them out the window. Spongebob and Patrick, who spent the entire time trying to find a pen and a pad of paper, finally emerge, and jump for joy, but The IJLSA make a unanimous decision to take Jack and John under their wing.

Episode 3: The Crappy Clone Wars

Evil Darkness gets a hold of Plankton and have him create a clone machine. When it's completed, Evil Darkness gets Dr. Ash to get DNA samples from the IJSLA, by stealing anything he can get with a sample on it. Dr. Ash goes to the MermaLair and, while the IJLSA is asleep, steals strands of hair, unfortunately, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy aren't there, so he had to leave without their DNA. When he goes back to the Chum Bucket and puts the DNA in the clone machine, he creates clones of Miss Appear, The Elastic Wasteband, The Quickster, Jack, and John. When the clones appear, they are dubbed Mr. Invisible, The Rubberband, Nike, Mike, and Mitchell. Mike and Mitchell become apprentices to Evil Darkness, whereas Mr. Invisible, The Rubberband, and Nike become full time members, to counter the IJSLA. In the morning, Evil Darkness raids the MermaLair, with the clones, and the IJSLA doesn't know what's going on. When The Kelp Thing tells them that they cloned them, they are shocked that they could get their DNA, but they decide to fight them off instead. Captain Magma tells Jack and John to go get Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. They return 30 minutes later, with no luck, to a destroyed MermaLair, with half of the weapons gone, the IJSLA defeated, and the pizza they ordered cold. Jack says it's OK, until he discovers the microwave is missing, "Now, it's personal..." Jack says under his breath. Like a magic wish, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy return, with two new additions, The Mermaid, and Barnacle Chick, they decided to clone themselves, only make them good. John says it's good and all, but the microwave is missing. Barnacle Boy tosses the microwave to John, and him, Mermaid Man, The Mermaid, and Barnacle Chick head off, to find Evil Darkness.

Episode 4: Break of Dawn Part 1

With Mermaid Man, Barnacle Boy, The Mermaid, and Barnacle Chick back at the MermaLair, the IJLSA need to come up with a plan to stop Evil Darkness, when Captain Magma suggests they send the Narrator. Everyone agrees and the Narrator is on his way, to the Krusty Krab, when the idea of just getting Spongebob to do it pops into everyone's head, but no one cares. Little do the IJLSA know, Evil Darkness has a trick or two up their sleeve and have already bugged the MermaLair, with a familiar face.

Episode 5: Once upon a Sunlight Night Part 2

The Narrator slowly approaches the Krusty Krab, only to be greeted by The Dirty Bubble, as if they were expecting him. Back at the MermaLair, the IJLSA discuss their plan of attack, and who should do what. John suggests a brilliant plan of attack, taking the Krusty Krab by both sides, and everyone decides to go with that. At the Krusty Krab, the Narrator is greeted warmly with open arms and Krabby Patties, Evil Darkness gets to discussing plans, which is when the Narrator decides to listen in, only to discover that they have terrible attack plans, so he decides to tune out and go play with the Skill Crane. Evil Darkness gets to the real planning, and decide to take the MermaLair from above, which is the entrance from Shady Sholes. Both the IJLSA and Evil Darkness put their plans into action the very next day, with the Narrator reporting nothing, and Jake mysteriously gone, can the IJLSA expect an easy battle, or an all out war?

Episode 6: Bran or Brawn Part 3

The IJLSA slowly moves in on the Krusty Krab, while Evil Darkness is moving in on Shady Sholes at the same time. The IJLSA approaches the Krusty Krab, only to peer in an find no one there! Mermaid Man tells the Quickster to get to the MermaLair, and quick, to try and hold off Evil Darkness as long as possible. When the Quickster arrives, he finds nothing out of the ordinary, and decides to lie down. Shortly after, Evil Darkness fall through the ceiling, only to face a very angry Quickster. In only minutes, Evil Darkness defeats the Quickster, and move onto the entire Lair. The IJLSA return to the MermaLair, to find the Quickster on the ground. Miss Appear attends to him, while everyone else attacks Evil Darkness. It's a stalemate, that is, until John tells everyone to switch, having Captain Magma face Mr. Invisible, The Elastic Wasteband face off against Nike, John against Mike, Mermaid Man against the Dirty Bubble, Barnacle Boy against ManRay, Barnacle Chick against The Kelp Thing, and The Mermaid against The Moth. It all ends quickly, with the IJLSA coming out on top... or so they thought! Jake appears in the shadows, explaining how Evil Darkness knew everything, revealing his deal with them, if he helps them, then they will make him the leader, that is, if they beat the IJLSA. This didn't come out to tuition though, as Evil Darkness lost. Jake calls out Mermaid Man, in a one on one, anything goes battle. He accepts, and grabs the Aqua Gun, with Jake having the Orb of Confusion. They face off, with neither of them using their weapons, just pure power. Mermaid Man makes his only mistake, using the Aqua Gun, Jake dodges with ease, and activates the Orb of Confusion, incapacitating Mermaid Man for the time being. Evil Darkness flees the scene, leaving the IJLSA take care of an even more confused that normal, Mermaid Man.

Episode 7: Mislead-ection

The President is going up for re-election this year, and is luckily, running unopposed. The IJLSA is hired as protection, just in case there's an assassination in the midst, but they need to leave Mermaid Man, their main line of attack, at the MermaLair, along with The Quickster, thanks to Evil Darkness. Everything goes fine for most of the President's speeches, that is, until Jake announces that he is running for President. At every speech, Evil Darkness uses a brainwashing gun to make everyone love what Jake is saying, and hate everything the President is saying. The IJLSA is getting anxious, but the President is just paranoid that he'll lose his office. When the votes are tallied, Jake wins in a land slide, and the President goes to live with the IJLSA until he gets back on his feet, or until they can impeach Jake. After months, Jake makes everyone's lives terrible, by making Bikini Bottom a dictatorship, and having him as the Dictator. The IJLSA works as the resistance, in feeble attempts to get Jake out of power. Evil Darkness works as Jake's minions, doing everything he says, and defeating the IJLSA everytime. Mermaid Man, who everyone thought was confused, was just being his normal self, which would've helped before. The IJLSA goes for one more attempt, this time with Mermaid Man, their main attack, and The Quickster, their secret weapon. After approaching Jake's office, Mermaid Man and Miss Appear sneak into Jake's room, and have Captain Magma blow this place up. In the ruins, Jake stands, along with Mermaid Man, everyone else looks on, as one final battle will take place. Jake runs up to him, but Mermaid Man uses his raging whirlpool to drive him away with ease. Evil Darkness retreats, with their leader gone, no way will they beat them. The President takes his rightful place as leader, and The Quickster quickly un-brainwashes everyone, to like the President again.

Episode 8: Something invisible, this way comes

Miss Appear begins to feel unneeded when she realizes her powers don't help out the team as much as everyone else, so she leaves the IJLSA. The Quickster goes to look for her, only to find out that Evil Darkness has already persuaded her to join their side. The Quickster reports back to the IJLSA, but they can't think of anything to do to get her back to their side. They decide to go in an all-out attack, but get quickly defeated, and retreat back to the MermaLair. Miss Appear, realizing that her team does need her, decides to turn on Evil Darkness, and take them out, one by one, and leaves them for good. The IJLSA is relieved to have her back, and Evil Darkness now knows how strong Miss Appear is, and need new tactics if they want to win again.

Episode 9: Fire and Ice, Baby!

Sandy is working on a new experiment that's supposed to strengthen the IJLSA's powers, and cover their weaknesses. Captain Magma volunteers to test it out first, but the experiment goes terribly wrong, and turns Captain Magma into General Freeze, turning Captain Magma's fire power, into ice. General Freeze is mad beyond belief, but Sandy can't fix it quite yet, so he has to get used to his new form for about a week. At the MermaLair, he just mopes around, as everything he touches turns to ice, which would be helpful, if he got up. Evil Darkness sends Dr. Ash to attack Captain Magma, as part of their new plan, send one person to take care of another person secretly, but when Dr. Ash finds General Freeze, he thinks its a trap, but realizes it's Captain Magma, and burst out laughing. General Freeze doesn't do anything, so Dr. Ash releases his fire on him, weakening General Freeze to the point of melting. General Freeze says enough is enough, and tries to fight back, only to be incredibly out matched, since ice is weak against fire. He tries his best, but it isn't good enough, and begins to lose to Dr. Ash again. He tries to regain strength, but he can only get enough power for one final blow, so, he tries his best. He releases a barrage of ice shards at Dr. Ash, which turn out to be effective. With both of them weak, neither are able to move. When morning comes, both are still lying there, when Sandy arrives at the MermaLair and turns General Freeze back into Captain Magma. He begins to beat on Dr. Ash, who runs away defeated.

Episode 10: Your luck stops here

The IJLSA are out trying to find another apprentice to replace Jack, and come across a fish named Ace. He's a superhero with the power of luck, good and bad. The IJLSA think he's helpful, so they let him in for a few days, to see what he's capable of. Ace tells the IJLSA that although he controls the power of luck, he still can't control it, and whoever he subjects the power to, has a 50/50 chance of getting either good or bad luck. The IJLSA see this as a minor problem, but, decide to give him a, crutch to help him with his power. John gets a quarter from the coin jar and hands it to Ace, and tells him that when he can flip the coin 100 times and have it land on heads every time, then he has mastered his powers. The IJLSA leave Ace in the MermaLair, when they head out for lunch. Unfortunately, Mr. Invisible shows up after they leave, and attempts to ransack the place for weapons and armor. Ace, even though he hasn't mastered his powers, decides to take on Mr. Invisible by himself. Mr. Invisible accepts the challenge, and Ace runs in full force, activating his powers, and swings a fist at Mr. Invisible. When his fist is about to hit, Mr. Invisible turns invisible and sneaks away, but Ace's powers activate as well, and his fist still connects. Mr. Invisible turns visible again, after thinking it's no use, and tries to attack Ace head on. Ace's powers activate and he tries to run away, but he trips on a rock, and as he's falling, Mr. Invisible kicks him, which makes Ace hit his head against the wall, leaving him unconscious. Mr. Invisible gets away, and when the IJLSA returns, Ace tells them that he's quitting because if he can't control his powers, he's useless. Mermaid Man tells him that it was just a fluke and that he should still stay and control his powers here.

Episode 11: A speedy getaway

After Nike robs a bank, she outruns the cops but when she ends up at the MermaLair, she plants the money there and switches out of her costume and goes back to the cops and says that The Quickster took the money. The police arrive at the MermaLair and question The Quickster about everything, but he doesn't know what they're talking about and calls them crazy. After a harmful beat down by the chief of police, The Quickster tries to get away, only to be stunned by a taser. When the police uncover the money, they entrust it with Nike to bring it back to bank while they bring The Quickster in. When the police leave, the rest of the IJLSA follow to try and bail out The Quickster, giving Nike to change and run back to Evil Darkness. After the police place The Quickster behind bars, they go back to the bank to see if Nike returned the money, only to find out that she didn't. They immediately suspect that she was the one who stole it all along, and try to get leads on to where she may be, but the only ones willing to help are the IJLSA, and will only help if The Quickster is released with all charges dropped. The police reluctantly agree, and release The Quickster. The IJLSA tell the police they will handle it and that they should stay at the station, while they go get Nike. One hour later, the police show up at the MermaLair wondering where Nike is, and Ace kicks them out, saying that since they falsely blamed the Quickster, they won't help them.

Episode 12: But we have cookies!

When Evil Darkness realizes they can't beat the IJLSA, Jack suggests to put up fliers for help. They all agree and post fliers all over town that say "Join ED, we have cookies". However, because they abbreviated Evil Darkness, no one knew who it was or what it was for, but no one knew who ED was, nor did they care. When no one shows up to the auditions, Jack becomes furious and storms over the town and drags people to the auditions. Everyone asks what they're doing there, and when Jack tells everyone to shut up, they all leave. Dr. Ash tries to bribe people to stay be standing at the door with a plate of cookies, which quickly backfires when they accept the cookies as a parting gift. Everyone except Jack is disappointed that nothing went right, and when ManRay asks Jack why he isn't sad, he says it's because they got all the help they needed. No one understands what he said, but no one really cared because they were tired. When the IJLSA plans an attack on Evil Darkness, Jack activates the "cookies" which is what everyone ate yesterday, they were all bugged with an evil chip, which, when activated, travels from where ever it is and goes to the brain, and inserts itself for a full 24 hours. When this happens, everyone in Bikini Bottom turn evil, and overpower the IJLSA. The Quickster runs to the Chum Bucket to beg Plankton to help them. Plankton doesn't immediately accept, but when he asks the IJLSA for full access to the MermaLair, they reluctantly agree, and Plankton shrinks himself to the size of a grain of rice, and The Quickster shoots him into the head of one of the Bikini Bottomites, and he discovers the evil chip. He goes back to the Chum Bucket and creates a ray to destroy all the chips, but he needs help from Ace. In the middle of the attack on the MermaLair, Ace goes to the Chum Bucket and uses his powers on the "cookie ray", which luckily (HA! a pun) works, and destroys all the chips in one foul swoop. The IJLSA is grateful to Plankton, but he still gets full access to the MermaLair, and he has a field day. When he leaves, he says that he'll be back later.

Episode 13: The ol' one-two switcheroo

When Mermaid Man, The Mermaid, Barnacle Boy, and Barnacle Chick go under a special operation to fix their eyes, they are left confused and almost blind. With nothing to do, The Elastic Wasteband suggests they play a prank on them, just to from a break of all the fighting. When the IJLSA finds out that Jack, ManRay, The Dirty Bubble, Kelp Thing, The Moth, and The Atomic Flounder are out of town, they go over to the Krusty Krab for a little fun. What is left of Evil Darkness thinks this an attack, and try to fight them off, with little success. Ace tells them of a plan that will be hilarious if pulled off, and they all agree. The next day, Mermaid Man wakes up to what he suspects is fine, but what he doesn't know, is that the IJLSA switched places with the remaining members of Evil Darkness. No one suspects a thing, except the leaders of Evil Darkness come back earlier than planned, and come back to an odd group of heroes. Jack attacks without giving them a chance to explain, and when they finally do, Jack is the only one that doesn't find it funny, and he tells ManRay to take them back to the MermaLair. When he gets there, he finds everyone from Evil Darkness there, and Mermaid Man, Barnacle Boy, The Mermaid, and Barnacle Chick doing nothing, and when he tries to tell them the truth, he gets attacked. The IJLSA decides to tell them and switches back with the others.

Episode 14: At the hour of nine Part 1

Squidward is chosen amongst all Bikini Bottomites to run a production of Romeo and Juliet. He has a dream cast in mind, but when he's told he can only use people that live in Bikini Bottom, he may have a bit of trouble. Since he knows Spongebob will annoy him to death about getting a part in the play, Squidward takes a leap of faith, and casts him as the casting director, because Squidward has changes to make to the script. Spongebob holds auditions for parts, but not everyone can get a role, he even had to cut his best friend Patrick! Word gets out that King Neptune, his wife Queen Amphitrite, and Mindy are attending the play as honorary guests, Evil Darkness gets word of it and plans an assassination plan to take out King Neptune. The IJLSA get wind of this and need a way to stop it, so Mermaid Man sends them out to audition for the play, since Spongebob is casting, they should be a shoo-in. They get to the auditorium and one by one, go up and try out for different parts, all major characters. Miss Appear and Captain Magma are the only ones to get parts, as Juliet and Friar Lawrence, respectively. The Elastic Wasteband and The Quickster offer to be ushers, to which Spongebob says yes to, he also agrees to have Ace and John be on lighting. With everything ready, Squidward gathers everyone for dress-rehearsals, where Evil Darkness secretly watch on, taking notes on places to attack. The Quickster takes a peek at the notes very discretely, and notices that the attack is planned for Act 5, Scene 3: The last act of the play, where Romeo and Juliet die.

Episode 15: Thus with a kiss, I die Part 2

It's opening night for the Romeo and Juliet play, and Squidward has butterflies in his stomach, if it's not good, then what happens to him? During the final rehearsal, the actor playing Romeo literally breaks his leg, and can't do the part. Spongebob didn't cast any understudies because he thought everything would be perfect, and the only person around besides the actors and actresses is Mike. In desperation, Squidward gives him the role as Romeo and tells him to just look up and read what he sees, he'll have cue cards with his lines. On opening night, King Neptune, Queen Amphitrite, and Mindy are in their balcony seats and get a special greeting by Squidward at the start of the play. After intermission, Evil Darkness sneaks in with a great view of the King, Queen and Princess. During Scene 3, Mike looks to Evil Darkness and winks at them, The Quickster notices this, and tries to signal the others, but they aren't moving, the only members that can are Miss Appear and Captain Magma, so he tries to signal them but can't since they aren't on stage. Mr. Invisible gets up, and turns invisible, out of sight, out of mind, The Quickster thinks to himself. Ace, John, and The Elastic Wasteband haven't moved in at least an hour, and neither has the audience, right when the play is about to end, Jack stands up and yells out NOW! Mr. Invisible pushes King Neptune's trident off the balcony into ManRay's hands, and no one seems to be doing anything, not even The Quickster, the play has even stopped. ManRay aims the trident at King Neptune, who isn't moving, and fires it, knocking him clean off the balcony onto his crown. Jack aims a time-ray at The Quickster, The Elastic Wasteband, Ace, and John, unfreezing them. He tells them of his plan and how well it worked thanks to Plankton's access to the MermaLair. The Elastic Wasteband tries to grab him, but Mr. Invisible jumps off the balcony and turns Evil Darkness invisible. Jack unfreezes time and everyone finally starts to move again. Queen Amphitrite notices that King Neptune has fallen and screams at the top of her lungs, and runs out of the theater with Mindy. No one knows what happened, until Ace shouts out that King Neptune isn't moving. Everyone is panicking, but The Elastic Wasteband and The Quickster take them out of the theater. When asked to explain himself, he says that they were his best customers and can't survive without them, at any rate, The Quickster takes Evil Darkness out of Bikini Bottom, and the IJLSA and Mr. Krabs come up with a compromise so that they can put this all behind them. Mr. Krabs will supply Krabby Patties to anyone who wants them for an entire month, and will give half the profits to the IJLSA, at first, Mr. Krabs would rather go to jail, but he decides not to.

Episode 25: A Loose Cannon

After a death in his family, Captain Magma becomes infuriated because he could've stopped it if he wasn't on the team. He mops around the lair and everyone tries to cheer him up, but nothing works. At night, only Captain Magma is awake, trying to cry himself to sleep, when Dr. Ash shows up alone, when he spots Captain Magma crying, he antagonizes him until Captain Magma finally snaps, and unleashes all his energy at once, but not in his power, he unleashes it in himself, transforming his body into a piping hot walking pile of magma. Dr. Ash thinks it's a laugh, and tries to defeat him by himself, but Captain Magma's energy is still getting released, and when it's all finished, he ends up 50 feet tall! With one swing of his arm, he knocks Dr. Ash away, along with running away and destroying the entire front entrance. In the morning, the IJLSA wake up and realize Captain Magma isn't there, along with the gaping hole in the front entrance, so they go to find him. When they walk outside, they see the entire town in shambles, people are panicking, buildings are on fire, and the streets are tore up. The IJLSA can't seem to think of a way to calm Captain Magma down, so they go to the last resort option: faking life. The Quickster goes back to the lair and gets a picture of Captain Magma's father (the person that died) and grabs clothes that look like his. When he's all set, the IJLSA brings him to Captain Magma, who is about to destroy Town Hall, but when he sees his "dad" he stops terrorizing the town and is just glad that his dad didn't really die. After finding this out, he becomes his normal size, and the IJLSA decide not to tell him what they did.

Episode 26: Heads or Tails

Ace is back in town and he has perfected his powers, he goes to the MermaLair to prove the IJLSA wrong and take him back and leave Jack, but no one is home. He walks around Bikini Bottom, and notices it's more peaceful that last time he was there, but there's still crime. Since the IJLSA isn't there, he decides to take matters into his own hands and stops the crime himself. Soon, he's praised as the hero of Bikini Bottom, for single handedly taking down all crime in Bikini Bottom, but things become bittersweet when Evil Darkness turns it up a notch. Since they don't have a real leader anymore, they lead themselves, but no one knows what to do since they never go over plans of attack, so, they're basically helpless.... or so everyone thinks. ManRay sends out Mike and Mitchell, not to defeat Ace, but to slow him down and weaken him, which works. He sends out Dr. Ash, Nike, The Rubber Band, and Mr. Invisible next, they to, are succumbed to defeat, but Ace is tired, and can't take anymore. ManRay sends out himself, The Dirty Bubble, The Atomic Flounder, and The Kelp Thing, and easily take out Ace. Feeling humiliated, Ace leaves Bikini Bottom, but crime rises yet again, this time, just with Evil Darkness, now that ManRay is the leader. All the civilians shout "IJLSA, Ace, help!" but they get no reaction. Soon though, Ace returns, and offers Evil Darkness a proposal: one final battle, he decides what it is, if he wins, then they leave as long as he is there, if he loses, then he will be exiled. They immediately agree, thinking it's a piece of cake, since he's obviously weakened still. Ace surprises them, by challenging ManRay to a simple "coin flip", Ace flips the coin, calls Heads, and it turns up heads. ManRay accuses Ace of cheating, but he tells him he never stated you can't use powers. Right when Evil Darkness steps over the Bikini Bottom line, the IJLSA return, Ace leaves, so Evil Darkness just walks back in.

Episode 27: The Speed of Speed

You have been invited to join many others in a show called Spin-Off Action. You will be partaking in the second season, with a chance at tons of cash, and eligibility to join Spin-Off All Stars. A bus will arrive in Bikini Bottom in exactly 24 hours, so pack up and head out!" Everyone is both sad and excited, because The Quickster could be a real star, but he'll also be away from the team for a while. Immediately after reading the letter, Evil Darkness strikes, but they see The Quickster sad, and ask what's wrong; he tells them everything. Evil Darkness is overjoyed at this because the strongest member of the IJLSA will be out of town, which makes it easy to take over Bikini Bottom again. Spongebob and Patrick are outside the MermaLair and over hear this. They don't want The Quickster to leave, but there's no other option.... that is, until Spongebob remembers he fits into The Quickster's costume! During the night, Spongebob sneaks into the MermaLair and steals one of The Quicksters spare costumes and puts it on, then waits at the bus stop until the bus for Spin-Off Action shows up. At the bus stop, is The Elastic Wasteband, crying, because he'll lose his best friend. Spongebob tells him that The Quickster isn't going anywhere, and that he is taking his place in Spin-Off Action. The Elastic Wasteband can't thank Spongebob enough, and rushes to tell the IJLSA, until Spongebob stops him and says that he can't tell anyone until he leaves. When the bus arrives, Spongebob gets on, dressed as The Quickster, and leaves Bikini Bottom, for the time being.

Episode 28: The Shortest Yard

Everything is going... boringly at Bikini Bottom, and the IJLSA is worried. With the absence of Spongebob, they can't get updates on what Evil Darkness is plotting, but with over a week of inactivity, it doesn't seem to be much. One day, while patrolling Bikini Bottom, Captain Magma receives some information from an anonymous tipster, named King K. The information he receives is both pleasing and unsettling, as Evil Darkness is attacking in a new way. Captain Magma rushes back to the IJLSA to tell them, but it's too late, Evil Darkness has already gotten to the MermaLair, and no one is there. Running through Bikini Bottom, Captain Magma has no luck at finding Evil Darkness or the IJLSA, until he comes to the football field, where he sees Patrick in a referee uniform, about to toss a coin. Captain Magma tries to rush out before it flips, but he's too late, and the game starts without him. The IJLSA get the kickoff, and The Quickster destroys it, but the Dirty Bubble catches it in... himself, and rushes for a touchdown, and scoring the 2-Point conversion. At halftime, the IJLSA is getting destroyed, 14-44, but Evil Darkness calls time-out and suggests something... different, they will let the IJLSA get 50 extra points, and all they need to do is sign a contract saying they will. Being secretly controlled by the Orb of Confusion, they accept without reading it. Evil Darkness stops trying and at the end, the IJLSA win, but the entire contract stated that if the IJLSA wins, then Evil Darkness gets the MermaLair, and vice-versa. Captain Magma says he tried to warn them, but it's no good now, since they don't have a lair anymore.

Episode 29: Into the Tame Bikini Outskirts

The recently lairless IJLSA takes shelter outside Bikini Bottom... again. They begin to argue about why this keeps happening, and they've decided on three things. 1, Getting rid of Ace, 2, Taking Jack back, and 3, Not having good communication. Since they can't undo numbers 1 and 2, they decide to swing by H2+O to buy 10 oceanPhone's, one for everyone on the team. All goes wrong while Mermaid Man tries to switch SEA cards, he accidentally falls down and on gets lodge in his skull, transmitting supersonic waves to his brain! When Barnacle Boy asks if he's ok, he says he is, but he can now hear any and all phone conversations in Bikini Bottom. The IJLSA use this to their advantage and set him up on the tallest signal tower outside Bikini Bottom, so he can pick up everything in the area, which means he can also hear Evil Darkness' calls. After hours of the usual phone calls, the IJLSA feels they should give up and go to a hospital to dis-lodge the SEA card. When The Elastic Wasteband is about to get Mermaid Man down, he picks up a call from Evil Darkness, more specifically, ManRay, going to Plankton. When Mermaid Man hears the conversation, he recites everything he hears from the two callers, while John writes it down. After the call is over, Mermaid Man has no memory at all of what just happened, to which everyone comes to the conclusion that when he decides to tell someone about a phone call, he goes into a trans, much like a hypnotist does to an audience member, or volunteer. After John reads back the call, it at first, seems meaningless, just a bunch of random letters and numbers, but when they take a closer look at it, the call reveals coordinates, to where, they do not know, but the only have one guess, and that is Space.

Episode 30: Wars of the Stars

After learning about Evil Darkness' attack on what can only be guessed as space itself, the IJLSA needs all the help they can get to fight it out in the heavens. Mermaid Man discovers that he can call people, when he tries to call himself out of forgetfulness, so the avoid being shamed, the IJLSA decide to use it to contact Sandy, which works. They ask her if they can use her rocket, to which at first she denies, until they bribe her that she can go with them. Sandy heads out of her treedome and heads outside of Bikini Bottom with a remote control that will make her rocket appear wherever they want. They press the button, and board it, while Mermaid Man still tries to pick up phone transmissions, which works, retrieving yet another call from ManRay to Plankton, this time saying that they'll need the ship ready in 3 hours, which confirms the IJLSA's suspicion about them going to space. They head up early and stake out on the Moon, while Sandy goes exploring, they stay behind inside a crater. After what seemed like an eternity, what can only be guessed as Plankton's ship appears, and lands on the ship. Not only do Evil Darkness and Plankton step out, but also many prisoners, all Bikini Bottomites! The IJLSA is about to spring into action, until an unknown hand taps Mermaid Man on his shoulder, which makes him, shout, causing the IJLSA to shout, which blows their cover. The unknown person reveals himself to be Patrick, who hopped aboard Sandy's ship earlier that day. Evil Darkness tells the prisoners to fight the IJLSA, which surprisingly works, thanks to their handcuffs transmitting subconscious messages to them saying to attack heroes and protect villains. Within minutes, the IJLSA is captured, but Patrick ran away to find Sandy. ManRay explains his plans, which is to colonize the moon with the prisoners, and use it as a base for an Obsidian Omega Destruction Device, which will align every planet in the Solar System, only backwards, causing a rift in the space time continuum, allowing Evil Darkness and Plankton to shape the Solar System to their choosing. Patrick and Sandy reappear, recording ManRay's entire speech, and threatens to show it to The President, unless they let everyone go, which they do... for all of 5 seconds. The Atomic Flounder destroys the recording, and ManRay re-prisons everyone, Patrick, again, gets away, but Sandy isn't so lucky. With Evil Darkness controlling every aspect of the people of Bikini Bottom, they feel on top of the world, until Patrick appears again and destroys the remote control which controls the prisoners. They're freed, and the IJLSA beats the crap out of Evil Darkness, lunar style! Plankton sneaks away in his rocket and gets back to Earth, except everyone else... not so lucky. Sandy's rocket can't hold all of the prisoners, so Patrick decides to stay on the moon, and make it a safe-haven until Evil Darkness is disposed of. Everyone agrees that it's for the best, and Sandy will send mes kits to Patrick every day, so they have food and shelter.

Season 3

Episode 31: Chicken Not-So Little

After undergoing surgery in order to get the SEA chip out of his head, Mermaid Man goes on pain killers. When his memory loss kicks in, he takes too much and starts to act crazy. The Elastic Wasteband tries to tie him up so he doesn't cause too much chaos, but he escapes and starts running around town, yelling that "the sky is falling!" Because Mermaid Man said this, the townsfolk know it's true, and panic. The IJLSA tries to calm everyone down, but Mermaid Man leads an angry mob to run the IJLSA back to the MermaLair, afterwhich, the mob goes for cover in the Krusty Krab, to which Mr. Krabs thinks is great business. The Quickster goes to the Krusty Krab and tries to tell everyone that Mermaid Man is just delusional, except on his way there, he gets hit by something, but he can't find out where it came from. He ignores it, and continues walking, only to get hit yet again on the head, so he decides to find out where it came from. At the Krusty Krab, Mermaid Man starts to rally people on an attack on none other than the sky itself! They head out, and start doing whatever they can to harm the sky, or, at least they think they're harming it. When The Quickster finally arrives, he tells the mob that he WAS going to tell them that Mermaid Man is delusional because of his pain killers, but he tells them that the sky actually IS falling!

Episode 32: Killer killer, on the call Part 1

After learning of the shocking news that the sky is falling, the townsfolk go into overdrive, and start destroying everything in site. The IJLSA tries to get everyone to calm down, but nothing is working, so The Elastic Wasteband uses his powers to create a barrier so they won't escape. The rest of the IJLSA go to the MermaLair to think of a solution to this, but come up with nothing fast. Thinking this their chance to shine, Evil Darkness shows up and tells the IJLSA their plan, and vow a truce that they will not attack them until it's complete. Reluctant, they accept, and Evil Darkness tells them the plan, which could work, but it's still a long shot. While setting up the plan, a mysterious limo pulls up in Bikini Bottom, and a shady looking fish comes out. The townsfolk, still in The Elastic Wasteband's barrier, which is now a dome, obviously don't pay attention to this, so the fish walks through the town with no one noticing. He ends up in the middle of town, gradually getting closer to the IJLSA. When he gets close enough to ManRay, he whispers in his hear, and ManRay tells the rest of Evil Darkness what the fish said. Still working, the IJLSA are suspicious of what's going on, but pay little attention to it. ManRay walks over to them, and says that Evil Darkness is going to take a break, to which the IJLSA don't care, as long as they finish. The mysterious fish calls over Miss Appear, claiming he needs "help", so she goes and helps him, and doesn't come back. The fish slowly does this until only Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy are left, when that happens, he walks out, and calls them out. They ask who he is, and says he's the infamous Chad Vane.

Episode 33: Chugga-Chugga-Chugga-Boo-Boo! Part 2

After revealing himself to Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, Chad Vane strikes quickly. They manage to dodge, but Chad attacks their backs while their guard is down, and knocks them unconscious. Waking up in an unknown train, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy become delirious, and they still have no idea where the rest of their team is. They decide to split up and see who's on the train, what the train is called, and where they're headed. Barnacle Boy takes the front, and finds a fish conducting the train, and he decides to ask who he is. The fish reveals himself to be Lenny, friend of Mr. Krabs, and conductor of The Krusty Train. Meanwhile, Mermaid Man hits the back and meets up with a fish inside a box, who tells Mermaid Man his name is Zed. Mermaid Man and Zed move to the front to meet back up with Barnacle Boy and whoever he found. When they meet with each other, Zed quickly runs back into his box, to hide from Lenny. Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy ask Lenny what's going on and why they're there, and he tells them that he'd get a special "reward" if he took them to a city off the beaten path, so he tells them to make themselves comfortable. After finding a seat, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy see a ticket-puncher, who wears a name tag saying "Quinn". Barnacle Boy asks him if he can help them, and he says that he overheard Chad when he was talking to Lenny, and he said that the IJLSA is being taken to where they are now, Las Fish Vegas.

Episode 34: Secret, Agent Gal! Part 3

When the Train finally stops, Mermaid Man, Barnacle Boy and Zed get off and decide to look around Las Fish Vegas. They come across a local pizza shop, and decide to look inside, and get some food. When Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy enter, two of the fish there, Mark and Scooter, run over to greet them immediately, and explain that they are huge fans of theirs. Mark and Scooter explain where the IJLSA is hiding, and what Chad Vane plans to do with Evil Darkness, so Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy jump right on it. Overhearing this conversation are Sam and Vorra, and stop Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy at the door. Same and Vorra explain to them that they are underwater spies, and they think that "The Man" could use extra agents, so they try to recruit them. They decline, but Sam quickly offers to train Miss Appear, once they find them of course. Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy accept, and head off to the Casino, where the IJLSA is being held. When they find them, the IJLSA tells them what was happening in Bikini Bottom, and how Evil Darkness is using the plan to get them praise, which is working from what they've heard from Chad Vane. Sam immediately takes Miss Appear away, while Vorra, Scooter, Mark and Zed stay with the IJLSA and head back to the Krusty Train, except that it's already departed! The Quickster says that he can take everyone back to Bikini Bottom, but only one at a time, so he takes Mermaid Man first, then Barnacle Boy, then The Mermaid, and so on, until Sam and Miss Appear are the only ones that are left. The Quickster impatiently waits for them to return, but decides not to, and goes back to Bikini Bottom. Evil Darkness is already stopping the sky from falling, which makes the IJLSA look lazy that they didn't do anything to help. With the sky finally holding, the town praises Evil Darkness, and The President even gives them the key to the town! When it seems that Evil Darkness is going to get away with it, Miss Appear and Sam unmask themselves, revealing that they've been at Bikini Bottom all the time. Both of them try to arrest Evil Darkness, but manage to only get Chad Vane. While taking Chad back on a bus to Las Fish Vegas, Sam offers Miss Appear the chance to be a full-time spy, because her powers would really suit her for it. The IJLSA gives her full support as she decides to leave them and pursue a new career.

Episode 35: Family Man

When everyone except The Quickster falls ill, he must cater to their every whim. When it soon proves too much for him, he goes on strike until he gets treated better. While on strike, Evil Darkness sends out Mr. Invisible and Dr. Ash to scout out why the IJLSA hasn't attacked. When they arrive at the MermaLair, the IJLSA fights back, with biological warfare! Soon, Dr. Ash and Mr. Invisible fall ill as well, and The Quickster has no choice but to take care of them. After a few hours, ManRay becomes concerned as to why Dr. Ash and Mr. Invisible haven't returned, so he scouts out himself, only to fall ill... like everyone else. The Quickster is so fed up with everyone's constant whining, so he goes to Sandy's house to see if she has a cure for their illness's, only to find out that she is up at the Moon to check on Patrick's colony. He barges in anyway, and tears up her treedome until he finds something that resembles a potion, thinking it's medicine after finding it under the "In Case of Emergency" label. Back at the MermaLair, The Quickster secretly gives everyone the potion, only to discover that it enhances all their senses and powers, but it doesn't cure them. When Sandy returns, The Quickster confesses that he took a potion and asks how long it takes to wear off, and if she has anything that will counteract it and make everyone feel better. Sandy goes in and gets two potions, and tells The Quickster to give both of them to everyone at the same time, and they'll feel better in no time.

Episode 36: A Real Hot-Head

After receiving a package in the mail, Captain Magma is now skeptical about his father's life. With the rest of the IJLSA fearing he could discover the truth, they toss the package while Captain Magma isn't looking. At night, when everyone is asleep, Captain Magma finds the package and opens it up to reveal a video tape, with the label saying "To My Son". Captain Magma is now furious, but decides to take his anger out on everyone later, after he watches the tape. He pops it in the player, and his father appears on the screen, reciting a message he recorded weeks before his death, saying that he loves his son and whatever he wrote on his will is set to go to Captain Magma. After the video is over, he goes berserk again, waking the entire town, along with the IJLSA and Evil Darkness. In order to put a stop to him, the IJLSA and Evil Darkness make a truce, to take down Captain Magma, after which, they will be sworn enemies again. After hours of planning, they come up with a full proof plan, that requires Plankton's help. The Quickster goes to the Chum Bucket and asks Plankton for his help, to which he says yes, because he's so tired he doesn't know what he's saying. In order for their plan to work, Plankton needs to make a holographic projection screen, luckily, he already has one. After preparation, it's all set and done, they just need to corner Captain Magma, who is still destroying the town. ManRay, The Dirty Bubble, Jack, and The Quickster set up a diversion while everyone else sets up the screen, which will project a second video tape of Captain Magma's father, one that he hasn't seen before. When Captain Magma is trapped, they put their plan in action and Captain Magma sees his father, talking about how proud he is of him, and how he knows he'll always do the right thing. Reacting to this, Captain Magma cools down, just in time to get a new package, after unwrapping it, it's the first of his dad's inheritance... his prized Sitar!

Episode 37: Stop, Drop, Rock and Roll Part 1

To honor his father's final wishes, Captain Magma takes Sitar lessons from a local Sitarist, and catches on pretty quickly. After a few months, he begins to hold recitals and concerts with other local rock and roll fish, and his success in Bikini Bottom sky rockets, at the price of neglecting his number 1 priority, which is the IJLSA. After a few days of not showing up at the lair, Mermaid Man and Barnacle go to find Captain Magma to tell him he has to choose, his father's wishes, or the IJLSA, a team he's been apart of for years. Having a hard time deciding, Captain Magma is granted one week before he needs to tell them his final decision... which is just enough time to mass produce a video games for the Sii called Sitar Hero. As he gains an ever growing popularity and fortune, he is also gaining an ever growing departure from the IJLSA. Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy go to see him to get his final answer, but right when Captain Magma is about to tell them his answer, famous rock and roll guitarist, Scratch, complains to Captain Magma that his video game is beating his in sales, and demands a rock and roll off, loser leaves the rock and roll business forever. Captain Magma accepts with no problem, and both of them hit the stage, with two very different instruments.

Episode 38: Sitar vs. Guitar Part 2

When the battle of rockers start, Scratch does a little "follow the leader", just playing chords, notes, riffs... anything, and Captain Magma must copy it exactly, or he's out. He proves to be a worthy adversary, but Scratch knows no one can match up to his skills, not even on a Sitar, so he decides to turn it up a notch... literally! He plugs his guitar into an amp and starts rocking out hard and loud. Captain Magma feels he can't keep up, so he drops out, automatically canceling Sitar Hero. Captain Magma goes back to the MermaLair and is depressed that he couldn't fulfill his father's wishes, so the IJLSA try to track down where Scratch went after the competition. After days of stalking, they finally find him and tell him that Captain Magma won't even talk because he crushed his dreams. At the MermaLair, Captain Magma gets another package, which turns out to be all of his father's life savings, over 1 million sand dollars! When Scratch enters the MermaLair, he sees the huge stack of cash near Captain Magma, and suggests a proposal idea, which is Captain Magma should go on tour with him, because he's obviously a good player. In a heart beat, Captain Magma accepts, which saddens the IJLSA, but they know he's going to be happier on the road than he is there, as a final request before hitting the road, Captain Magma tells the IJLSA to send any packages he gets.

Episode 39: G.I. Slow

In order to pick up the extra slack from the team, The Quickster suggests that he and The Elastic Wasteband get power enhancers from Sandy. Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy strongly suggest against this as it could be extremely dangerous if it goes wrong, but they go and do it anyway. To their disappointment, only one of them can enhance their powers, and one has to have their powers drained and reversed, but this is done randomly after they are placed in the energy transporters. They both get in and Sandy turns the machines on, within seconds, it's done and they come out. The Quickster and The Elastic Wasteband test their powers out at the same time, and unfortunately, The Quickster is the one that got his powers drained and reversed, so he is now as slow as molasses. In order to try and hide this effect from Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, The Quickster decides to hide from them, The Elastic Wasteband will cover him. When The Quickster is trying to hide, Evil Darkness spots him and attacks, unable to react, The Quickster begs for them to spare him, which they don't. Confused as to where The Quickster is, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy go to search for him on their own, and figure Evil Darkness' lair (which is now the Chum Bucket, having Plankton be a full-time member). When they get there, they are outnumbered and are captured as well, and when all hope seems lost, The Elastic Wasteband barges in and saves them with his new super-extendo arms, and they escape, to Sandy's treedome to switch the powers back.

When they go to check it out, a mysterious fish shows up and he grabs Jack and runs off with him. When the IJLSA ask why the alarm went off, the Mayor said he had no idea why, and he had no idea who the fish was. The Quickster and The Elastic Wasteband go to try and track down Jack while everyone else stays back and investigates, but unfortunately can't seem to come up with anything. When Evil Darkness gets wind of this, they are overjoyed that the IJLSA lost one of their most powerful members, but also concerned because they didn't send the fish to get Jack, but they couldn't careless and decide to do nothing at all. The Quickster and The Elastic Wasteband are the only ones with luck, as they find the fish and start following him, but he doesn't seem to be going anywhere. When he finally stops, and doesn't even turn around, but he still says out loud that The Quickster and The Elastic Wasteband don't stand a chance. Thinking of it as a challenge, they attack, but are quickly defeated after the fish uses mind-control to send Jack against them, they return to Bikini Bottom and the fish knocks Jack unconscious and stuffs him back in the bag. The entire team goes to track the fish down after they hear the news from The Quickster and The Elastic Wasteband. Once they track him down, they tell him to freeze, turn around, and put his hands in the air. He follows all the directions as they say, except the bag containing Jack was in the fish's hands and he dropped it over a cliff! The IJLSA goes to the edge of the cliff to see if the bag is OK, but they can't see it, while the fish escapes without anyone noticing.

Episode 41: Johnny Snapple Seed

Mourning over the assumed death of Jack, no one seems to ever be happy anymore except for John. The Quickster asks why John is so happy, and he says that it's because Jack left his will before he was captured, incase he died, and Jack left him his family's recipe for apple juice. The Quickster is concerned about how Jack continently wrote his will right before his was captured, but he thinks nothing of it and lets it go. Within days, John creates over a dozen batches of Jack's Apple Juice and gives it to everyone to cheer them up. They had never tasted it before, but if it was a family recipe, it must've been good. From the first drop on their mouths to the last, they can't put their cups down. Mermaid Man comments on how it's the tastiest thing he's ever drank, to which everyone agrees. John reveals that he actually tweaked the recipe, because the recipe before tasted terrible. The Quickster says that John should sell the juice in stores, so he does, with immediate success. He soon becomes wealthy beyond his wildest dreams, even to the point to where Plankton stopped going after the Krabby Patty recipe to go after his instead! John feels overwhelmed with all this success in such a short period of time, so he passes out. While passed out, Mr. Krabs visits the MermaLair and proposes a business contract with John, he sells the juice at the Krusty Krab, and he gets all the profit from that. After this proposition, The Elastic Wasteband immediately attacks Mr. Krabs, only to reveal it was actually the mystery fish from before! He snags John up, and runs off. The Quickster goes to run after him, but trips on his shoelace and lets him get away. Barnacle Boy comments that Jack and John must have something valuable, otherwise the fish would've been after everyone else first, not them.

Episode 42: Oh, that Barnacle! Part 1

When a famous producer comes to Bikini Bottom, everyone tries to audition for the lead role in his new show, Oh that Fish! He doesn't like anyone, and decides to pack up and head for a new town... until he sees Barnacle Chick, that is. He gives her some lines to say, and he immediately says she got the part! Days after Barnacle Chick's departure from the IJLSA, The Mermaid gets depressed, saying that she's the only girl on the team and she has no one to talk to. The Quickster calls up Barnacle Chick and tells her to drop the show and come back, or take The Mermaid with her. She takes a while to answer, but when she does, all she says is "OK", she didn't say to what though. Barnacle Chick drops by the MermaLair later that day and explains why she can't leave the show, but also tells them she wish she could because it's a terrible show. When The Mermaid sees Barnacle Chick, she thinks she has come back, and gets overjoyed. Unfortunately, when Barnacle Chick says she isn't back, she bursts into tears. To calm her down, Barnacle Chick quickly makes up a lie, saying that the producer wants her too. She stops crying and goes to pack her bags, while doing that, the IJLSA scold Barnacle Chick for telling that lie to her. She says that she didn't have anything else to say, and figured it might actually work. The Mermaid comes out of her room, and both of the girls are off to Fishwood.

Episode 43: The belittled Mermaid Part 2

At the studio, The Mermaid continues to ask questions about when she'll be in the show, but no one knows what she's talking about. He asks The Mermaid to open the door, and she does... for about 2 seconds, which is all it took to slug him in the eye. She is overjoyed at this, and calls the IJLSA to tell them that her and Barnacle Chick won't be back for a while, but they can probably manage without them.

Episode 46: That's All She Wrote Part 3

With both Evil Darkness and The IJLSA captured, the mysterious fish doesn't feel compelled to keep his identity a secret, so, he reveals himself to be Jack! The Quickster immediately says it couldn't he couldn't be Jack, because the fish threw Jack off a cliff. Jack tells him that was actually John, which is why he wasn't with them when they were chasing the fish. Everyone asks why they did it, he says it was because he and John weren't appreciated enough, and after he went to Evil Darkness and back, the IJLSA never trusted him the same. The Elastic Wasteband says that isn't true, but Jack and John (his guard) don't care and storm Bikini Bottom to take it over. Helpless, Evil Darkness and The IJLSA don't have anything else to do, because well, they CAN'T do anything else, so they just decide to put everything behind if they make it out alive. Hours into the invasion on Bikini Bottom, they wonder how Jack and John are doing this, when they see Chad Vane pull up in a cab and run into Bikini Bottom fully armed. Bored, The Elastic Wasteband decides to stretch as much as he can, and it turns out he can stretch out of the rope! He heads straight over to Sandy's treedome to take the power switcher and bring it back to the cave. He barely makes it out of Bikini Bottom alive, but when he does, he puts everyone into the power switcher, and him into the other one. The Quickster says if he does that, then if he's the one that transfers his power, that he won't ever get his powers back. He knows and accepts this, and just when he's about to turn the power switcher on, Captain Magma, Miss Appear, The Mermaid, and Barnacle Chick all come to their aid, because they heard on the news Bikini Bottom is in trouble. Both Evil Darkness and the IJLSA are grateful, and when they get untied, everyone from Evil Darkness goes to the chamber The Elastic Wasteband was in, and stuff him and the rest of the IJLSA into the other. When ManRay turns it on, it turns out Evil Darkness is the one that loses their powers, and just stays at the cave. The IJLSA head out to Bikini Bottom immediately, and each split up on someone, The Quickster and The Elastic Wasteband take on Chad Vane. Miss Appear and Captain Magma take on John, leaving Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy taking on Jack. Each battle lasts hours, and the tables keep on turning, but Chad Vane and John eventually submit. Jack proves to be too much for Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, and just when he's about to deliver the finishing blow, Ace comes out of no where and slugs Jack in the face, knocking him unconscious. When he comes to, he stares into the face of King Neptune, who wishes to take revenge on him for almost killing him, but he decides not to. He instead, banishes Jack and John from the sea, and send Chad Vane back to Las Fish Vegas. After all is said and done, everyone who returned to the IJLSA heads back to where they were, and in desperate need of more help, Mermaid Man offers Ace a permanent position on the team, to which he agrees immediately, after telling them he's mastered his powers. Evil Darkness is still powerless, until the power transfer wears off. With powers back, they immediately go back on their word to the IJLSA and attack them with full force.
