  1. Time to play catch up.

No Weenies Allowed: Awesome episode, I always laugh so hard seeing SpongeBob's failed attempts at getting into the Salty Spitoon.

Mid-Life Crustacean: Made my list at #22. The panty raid is one of my favorite dirty things the show has ever gone for, and aside from that there are so many hilarious moments and the plot itself is great and relatable.

Survival of the Idiots: Funny enough, this episode used to scare the beejeves out of me when I was younger (Sandy's growling terrified me LOL!). Nevertheless though, as I'm older now and can actually sit through the episode, It's brilliant and just missed my list! I love the Dirty Dan and Pinhead Larry bits, Sandy dreaming about Texas outlaws is hilarious, and I love the irony of seeing them pluck out Sandy's fur to stay warm, only for summer to arrive right after. Long story short, just like many other episodes on this list, glad it's here.

  2. Employee of the Month: Very classic episode with great humor and a fun competition between SpongeBob and Squidward. I'd say it's worthy of being on this countdown.

Something Smells: Also worthy of being on the countdown. Very funny episode, SpongeBob wreaking havoc with his bad breath is hilarious to see!

  3. Here's the first episode on the countdown that actually DID make my list, at #21! I've always loved this episode. It really does give us a great look into Squidward's psyche, and SpongeBob repeatedly saying "Have you finished those errands?" is one of my favorite repetitive gags on the show. It's incredibly hilarious since a lot of it is in Squidward's imagination. Overall, just a amazingly brilliant episode, and I'm happy that it's the first episode on my list that made the countdown! :)

  4. The Great Snail Race is okay. It's one of the weaker pre-movie episodes for sure IMO, but it still has a few funny gags and the plot itself was pretty well executed. And while SpongeBob may have been a little too harsh on Gary, the Gary torture here wasn't anywhere near as bad as A Pal for Gary or Pet Sitter Pat. The only other scene I didn't like was the one with Gary blowing up as it felt a little needlessly cruel by SpongeBob standards. Overall though, while the episode is nowhere near my Top 50, it does have some good elements and I can totally understand why some people might see it as one of the best.

  5. I know I'm late on this, but welcome back! Funny enough, I also used to write horrible tv.com reviews when I was 9 and 10 years old. Those reviews are probably even worse than yours, LOL! My grammar and punctuation was practically non-existent back then, and I barely gave any reasons at all for why I felt the way I did about certain things.

But hey, it's all in the past now. We can look towards the future, and improve ourselves now in the present! I'm glad you're back now!

  6. This episode is just plain awful. It's basically everything bad about SpongeBob episodes all wrapped up into one slimy package. Gross-out with the snot ink, Squidward torture with Patrick constantly scaring him into getting his ink, as well as the ending where Squidward's attempt to sell his ink fails, Patrick being a prick with him harming Squidward to serve his own purposes, topped all off with an annoying repetitive gag of Squidward squirting ink every time he gets scared. Thing is, all these things on their own wouldn't make the episode stand out, as there are plenty of bad episodes that share these traits. It's having all these traits COMBINED that really helps cement this episode as one big massive stinker, as well as the fact that it's coming off a spongebob era that has been quite great (as even the other bad episodes of the era really aren't THAT bad).

Not much else to say. This episode is at least my 3rd most hated one, and it's a shame that we essentially got one last bitter dose of seasons 6-8 ?

  7. This is certainly my favorite episode! Every joke here is so funny, and there's TONS of them! So many memorable lines as well, and the plot of SpongeBob and Patrick becoming rich entrepreneurs selling chocolate is a great one and was executed brilliantly! A 10/10 episode for sure, the absolute best in the series!

  8. Hello everybody, I am glad to have just joined here! I mostly joined these forums to participate in some of the more fun activities (like the best/worst countdowns), as well as chat about SpongeBob every now and again. I probably won't be an extremely active member on the board, but I'll still post here every now and again and have fun on this forum. I'm excited to get to know you all, so let's have fun! :)
