Anyway, since The Smoking Peanut was your first choice, that's the episode that I'll go with when selecting an episode equal in quality in Season 3.

So, I choose Born Again Krabs (I find it underrated).

A game originally started by FinnDinner over at SBM, so credit goes to him for the idea. Here you pick an episode from a season, then you have to pick an episode from the following season that's around the same level of quality. Once we get to Season 11, it just starts all over again and you have to name a Season 1 episode that's equal in quality to the Season 11 episode that was chosen. If you feel there are NO episodes in the following season that are equal in quality to what the episode picked was, just name the episode in the season that is closest to it in your opinion (For example, if someone picks an episode that they think is abominable from Season 9 and can't think of one nearly as bad for Season 10, just name your least favorite S10 episode). I'll post the 4 unpopular opinions I stated in SB Mania, as well as 2 new ones.

-Super Smash Bros. Brawl is easily the worst Smash Bros. game, it's not that great at all. The combat is too slow, the graphics are barely an upgrade over the GCN version, Break the Targets got completely ruined, and Subspace Emissary was one hell of a chore to go through.

-Shadow the Hedgehog is one of my favorite Sonic games of all time, and very well possibly even among my favorite overall video games. I really love the dark tone of this game, and the fact that you could choose your own path just made this game a blast to play for me. I love this game so much, I seriously went and played through all 326 routes the game has to offer! (I do have a video on YouTube showing the proof if anyone wants to see that).

-I can't get into Pokemon no matter how hard I try. Objectively speaking it seems like a good series, but it's just not one that I can personally be interested in.

-Nearly all seafoods are nasty.

- 1 2 Switch is seriously one of the worst video games ever made.

- Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends isn't really that great of a show.

I personally think all 4 are trash LOL!

Anyway, my birthday episodes, with the exception of one, are definitely a lot better: Chocolate With Nuts, MermaidMan and BarnacleBoy 5, and Shell Shocked. "Shell Shocked" might have sucked, but the other 2 are golden and among my favorites ever!

I myself am in the same camp as Clappy, except that in my case "The Camping Episode" was #10 on my list. Since I already wrote why I love this episode so much on the other SpongeBob forum and voiced my defense there, I'm just gonna copy and paste that review here.

"I don't get all these comments saying that the episode is overrated. If anything, I find it very UNDER-rated seeing as how the reception to this episode has definitely become a lot more critical in recent years. I think it is an amazingly hilarious episode with tons of great camping gags, the 2nd best song in the whole series (aside from "Sweet Victory"), and a hilarious mauling scene at the end (I agree with Slug, I really can't feel bad for Squidward here. He had been warned by SpongeBob and Patrick several times, but his ego got the better of him and he got what was coming to him. And I think the sea bear attacks themselves are hilarious, especially since they happen off screen and the bear just keeps coming out of nowhere. Plus I like how the sea bear points his finger at Squidward at the end). The very fact that they took a setting as simple as camping and turned it into a hilarious and effective ride is a brilliant accomplishment!

 

Short and to the point, though, this episode is incredible. I think it deserves all the praise it gets (or got), and it definitely mauls (pun intended) its sister episode: Krabby Land."

"Frankendoodle" is another episode in my Top 50 somewhere. It's just a hilarious and fun wacky ride the whole way through, and you really gotta love DoodleBob. While it wouldn't be in my personal Top 10 or even 25 for that matter, I still think it's an awesome episode and I can definitely see why some have placed it among their absolute favorites.

Just saw all 5 of them, and here are my first impressions (Which of course could always change upon rewatch).

Shopping List: A very solid episode, I think it was actually equally as good as its partner, Mustard O' Mine. It's not a fantastic episode by any stretch, but its a fun journey with some good gags, and I also love seeing Sandy kicking Krabs's butt, a perfect way for him to get his comeuppance. Using Pieguy's scale, I'd rate this a GOOD episode.

Whale Watching: My favorite of the 5, and one of my new top 5 favorites of Season 11. I like how Squidward seemed like a genuinely caring person towards Pearl in this episode, and it's a very relatable episode to me, as I was once a teen myself and can very much relate to wanting to attend a fancy sounding party rather than being babysat. Plus there were plenty of good jokes here. Obviously, using Pieguy's scale, I'd rate this a GOOD episode.

Krusty Kleaning: I feel much the same way about this episode as I do "Shopping List" and "Mustard O' Mine", in that in general it's just very solid. While not the best in terms of comedy or story, both are still fine enough here, and in general nothing really bugged me about this episode. So yeah, very good one, definitely a solid GOOD episode using Pieguy's scale.

Patnocchio: Easily my least favorite of the 5. It doesn't really do much besides just being another episode too heavily concentrated on Patrick's stupidity, and it could get annoying at times. That said, I still don't hate this episode, because I thought it was cool to see Karen (sort of) narrate an episode for once and there were still a couple of decent gags. Those things saved it from being a scumbob, and as a result, using Pieguy's scale, I give this a MEH moniker.

ChefBob: My 2nd favorite of the 5. Just a really cool episode, and a hilarious one too. I like the idea of SpongeBob getting stage fright due to performing in front of a large crowd, because it's again relatable. And the actual chefbob puppet is awesome, telling really hilarious jokes and even getting his own show at the end. Much like "The Abrasive Side", the rude humor works here since an outside force is causing all the rudeness to occur.  Great episode overall, definitely rating it a GOOD using Pieguy's scale.

Like I said, don't take this to be my final opinion since I had only just now watched all these. My opinions on all these and more could easily change upon rewatch.
