I've actually been on a mission to counter this narrative for the last few months through a Twitter alt, @AceArchivist. If this is really a thing that you vote on (and Warren seems to be doing it with endorsing Bernie too), then it kinda exposes you as an un-serious person.

My university's now shutting down most of the campus and moving everything online. It's not even confirmed there, but we have confirmed cases in New Orleans (which is 70 miles away), so they're closing as a precaution.
That's how easily this stuff spreads, guys. If you have to leave home, keep your hands clean as much as possible.

Well, I hear we've got cases here in Louisiana now, so I'm starting to feel a bit on edge about it. It also doesn't help that A) we're also about to start seeing warmer temperatures here soon, and B) the agencies responsible for managing health crises and pandemics have been absolutely gutted, so this has the potential to be a lot worse than any of the disease outbreaks we've had over the past few years. Still, at least some people are taking the initiative and handing out hand sanitizer and wipes like free candy.
My university is also making plans to shut down if there's a case confirmed on campus, so that should be fun to see unfold if it gets to that point!

For those of you that don't get how huge of a deal the death of Soleimani is, I'll try to make it clear. Some people thought it was like assassinating our National Security Advisor... but no. Soleimani was a national hero in Iran, and us killing him is very much equivalent to anyone taking out our Vice President.
Soleimani said once that he wanted to be made a martyr. Now, we've given him exactly that. With the Iranian people rallying behind is death, the Iran nuclear deal is completely done. All signs are pointing to us heading straight into war, something I've been dreading would happen for a while now.
Now, how big of a deal is that? Well...
Iran is not Iraq. It's not Syria. It's not Afghanistan. It's not like any country that we've invaded since 9/11. Iran is a powerful player in the Middle East, and until recently, a relatively-stable country for the region. Before Trump pulled us out of it, they were held to an agreement (the aforementioned Iran nuclear deal) that prevented them from developing nuclear weapons. Under Soleimani's command, their military played a crucial role in fighting ISIS. Most of all, though, they have a population more than twice the size of Vietnam, the country where we lost our most infamous war:
I don't care what political stripes you have, or if you have any at all. Everybody needs to come out against this war, because if (probably when, sadly) we get into it with Iran, it'll be worse than any we've waged since WWII. Don't listen to anyone who wants to tell you otherwise - more than likely, they're the same people who said we would be in and out of Iraq in months, that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, and that Venezuela currently poses a national security threat to us.

Earlier this year, I heard Dream Theater's "Metropolis Pt. 2" for the first time. After that, I thought no record would ever truly stun me again.
And then, this happened:
Folks, meet a brand new prog rock indie band named Ok Goodnight. I found out about them only through their lead singer being Casey Lee Williams, the main singer of the RWBY soundtrack.
A bit of Dream Theater, and a lot of Plini and Animals As Leaders, this album is great at balancing itself between soft and loud, rough and soft tracks. Right after the huge, bombastic second track that is "Think Again", we get the song above, "Free Fall", to serve as a relatively-light counterbalance. There's a few rare moments where the album just feels slightly too sparse for my liking, but that can't stop me from recommending it with a huge double thumbs up!

Bad news: the third SB movie has been pushed back.
Good news: the movie was likely to be mediocre regardless.
Bad news: at this point, we have no way of knowing that for sure.
Good news: Nickelodeon's desire to milk this franchise makes it certain that, at some point, they will release it.
Bad news... nope, that's the end of it.
