Are You Happy Now made my list. What an abysmal episode. Complete garbage that ruins Squidward's whole grumpiness shtick by having him go through actual depression.
Pineapple Fever is like all of the other season 6 Squid "torture" episodes and I have nothing more to add. It sucks.

Yeah, to say Tentacle-Vision is pre-movie quality is an insult to pre-movie. An awful episode that wastes a good premise. The episode just completely devolves into nonsense and all the jokes are the same. Someone sees Squidward's show, then comes in to ruin it. Terrible episode.
Like The Cent of Money and A Day Without Tears The Play's The Thing is so forgettable I have nothing to say. Like those 2 episodes, I remember disliking this one as well, but it left no impact on me.

Atlantis: Already explained. I really hate this one and I can't stand sitting through it.
Cephalopod Lodge is complete garbage but it's honestly so horrendous and awful that it's somewhat fascinating and I really enjoyed that Sock Puppet gag which felt right at home in pre-movie, even if that's the only unironically good joke in the whole ordeal. Another honorable mention.

I still hate Pet Sitter Pat because of how unfunny Patrick is and how lame the jokes are. With that said I didn't have it on my list cuz there's other episodes that I hate more and the sub-plot is fine, but I was heavily considering it. It's pretty much an honorable mention for me.
Whatever Happened to SpongeBob is similar. It's still awful, but there's a couple of other specials that are more useless and bigger wastes of time.

Gone made my list at #21. I already said my do on it.
The Thing is probably one of my least-favorite season 4 episodes. Nothing was funny and their treatment of Smelly was just really annoying.
Good Neighbors on the other hand is a hard one for me to hate. It's still a bad episode, but compared to all the episodes of Squidward getting annoyed later on I honestly think it's one of the better ones. There are a couple of jokes that work, SpongeBob and Patrick actually recognize that they were wrong and they get punished to an extent even if Squidward has to suffer through it as well. I don't like the episode but I really don't think it's still worth hating any more, even if it was a bad omen there's been far worse episodes since that deserve more hate imo. Even within season 4 The Thing and Squid Wood are worse.
Sun Bleached is one that I agree with. It didn't make my list but the plot is beyond stupid, not a single joke works and just has an annoying vibe. Most of the episode can be used as an advertisement for tanning beds.

Restraining SpongeBob is bad although preferable to a lot of the Squid "torture" eps. I actually did like the lawyers, the episode was really stupid though and Patrick tanks any potential it had.
Best Day Ever doesn't really belong on here imo. It's meh but there's nothing that bad about it, it's a cute and harmless episode that's biggest crime is not being all that funny.

Wow, disappointed. None from Michigan was seen. Bubble bass was just a side character the this episode. They lied. They also had horrible choices for the colors. It wasn't funny. SCUMBOB episode. Don't do this again Nick. 3/10.

Good Season
9a was already an improvement over seasons 6-8 (although not as good as 1-5) but season 9b made things really interesting. So far the second half has been great and the show has really become original and fun again.

Okay Season
Definitely more enjoyable than seasons 6 and 7 but season 8 still suffers from feeling stilted. There's very little that's memorable or funny about season 8 and it all just piles together into one inoffensive gray blob with a few exceptions both good and bad. Planet of the Jellyfish, It's a SpongeBob Christmas, and Hello Bikini Bottom rank as some of my favorite episodes but crap like Pet Sitter Pat, Smoothe Jazz at Bikini Bottom, and Demolition Doofus are also among the worst. Season 8 is an improvement over seasons 6 and 7 but 4, 5, and 9 are still much better.

Meh Season
While slightly better than season 6 due to some improvements in the second-half season 7 is still really poor and is very close to season 6. The main thing about this season is that's it's just so boring, there are entire episodes that just drag on like zombies with few jokes to speak of. Along with that if season 6 was the season of Squidward getting abused them season 7 is the season of the Krusty Krab. Almost all season 7 episodes have to do with the Krusty Krab and it makes the episodes and the season as a whole feel stale and worn-out. Season 7 also houses some masterpieces like Stuck in the Wringer and A Pal for Gary which make this season a real chore to plow through. I was really surprised to see how many positive responses this season got when it first came out, pretty funny in retrospect now that this is often referred to as the show's worst season.

I know people like to say SpongeBob went downhill during seasons 4 and 5, but for me THIS is where SpongeBob went down the drain. The good episodes are few and far between and the crap is really bad. The plots are usually repetitive (How many annoy Squidward episodes are in this season), bland, or downright awful. While seasons 1-5 had jokes brimming around every corner season 6 barely has any and the few that remain feel dumbed down, oh and the gross-out in this season is painful. Season 6 is the worst season in SpongeBob history followed by season 7.

Good Season
Easily the show's most underrated season. This season feels a lot different than the first 4 but still manages to keep the energy and hilarious jokes over. Yeah there was more gross-out but I loved how experimental and fast-paced this season was so it never had a dull moment. Season 5 is flawed but it's miles above those train-wrecks known as seasons 6 and 7. I also think season 5 is a lot better than season 8 because season 8 has a number of awful episodes and is kinda a snooze fest.

Good season
Season 4 is sickeningly underrated. The first half is truly fantastic with many hilarious and memorable episodes that feel like they came straight out of season 3. The second half dips a bit and starts to feel different but it still manages to be really good. Season 4 is very solid and has rightfully been pulled out of the dark age where seasons 6 and 7 rot.
