    Here's another underrated episode. This time I think it's because it's paired with Ghost Host, or because of scientist Sandy, but I don't know, even though not as underrated as the last. You know, even though I did get laughs from the beginning, I wasn't too fond of it when I first watched it, probably because I wasn't used to the Chimps. But now I KNOW the episode is AMAZING. Even though it is somewhat of a ripoff of Texas, but like Fear of a Krabby Patty (Which comes later), it has enough original material to be it's own episode. 

     

    The episode starts when SpongeBob and Patrick decide to take a visit to Sandy's Treedome to show her a new backscratcher (which Patrick mistook for Spongebob's arm, funny, right?). They end up seeing it a wreck, what happened? Sandy was working on inventions all day and night, but is not proud of any of them. We see a peanut-transmitter, which makes SpongeBob hear the peanut say it's dark, then a peanut juicer, making SpongeBob hear the peanut's scrams of agony, and a inpersistent nutcracker, but even after SpongeBob's encouragement, Sandy thinks she will be fired and will need to leave town. So SpongeBob and Patrick try to help inventing. And comes one of the best dialogues here.

     

    "Hey, SpongeBob, I invented a stick that you can draw or write with!" 

     

    "That's a pencil, Patrick, it's already been invented."

     

    And so on. And then Sandy sings this great song about as good as the Texas song.

    Which cause SpongeBob and Patrick to try harder. And after a funny montage, of inventing and soda, they make something giant under a tarp. When the chimps come the next morning, there comes another funny dialogue that cracks me up.

     

    "I am SpongeBob"

     

    "And I am Professor Patrick"

     

    "Professor?"

     

    "Doctor Professor Patrick to you!"

     

    And so they show the invention to the bosses after more nonsense. It is revealed! A Hair-Cutter Back-Scatcher Nose-Picker Ukelele-Tuner 9000! Or just a giant piece of junk. But when Pat Mr. Doctor Professor Patrick forces the oldest chimp in the machine, it works marvelously, hair cutting, back scratching, nose picking, pudding feeding, wait, Pudding? Don't remember that part of the invention? Just adds to the joke. It soon goes berserk and nearly kills him, but no gore, don't worry, loud screaming means that it's working! Sandy comes back to see what the ruckus is and the machine ruined her chances of staying, so when she is ready to leave to "Quittersville, Failiuretown, or Loserburg," the nutcracker peels the chimps' bananas, which was what they were searching for a century, then they act like monkeys and give Sandy a 20-year contract and a substantial pay raise. Then all that's left is to find out what to do with the gizmo, and hilariously Patrick goes in! 

     

    What did I like about the episode? Patrick was stupid without overdoing it was great. And his lines were over-the-top. The way he talked to the chimps and SB was hilarious. Also the way SpongeBob appreciated Sandy is a must for me. And the Chimps were pretty good characters, and I loved the musical number, too, as well as the animation. I think this episode is one you should re-watch, like the last one, to see how good it is.

    Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy IV

    Now as the first out of 3 Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy episodes, we have the fourth. This is a very underrated episode. But it had WUMBO! You know, I Wumbo, you Wumbo, he/she/me Wumbo!

    "It's first grade, SpongeBob!" Yeah, I don't know why people don't love the episode.

     

    The Episode begins when Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy decide to have lunch at the Krusty Krab with A Krabby Combo and a Silly Meal, an opportunity for SpongeBob to get an autograph. Why didn't he do this in II, I don't know. He goes crazy over it and after seeing a fight between noses and MM's belly, they escape, but drop the belt! SpongeBob wants to give it back, but they drive away quick and Sponge has to keep it. He decides to shrink the kitchen. All we can ever ask, random shrinking. 

     

    Squidward finds out about the belt and slowly reaches for the phone to tell on him. SpongeBob resists and, of course, he shrinks him too! After some disturbing yet funny sequences, SpongeBob decides to go to Patrick's for help. He thinks Squidward's an Action Figure and does this.

     

    "HERE COMES THE GIANT FIST!"

     

    It also seems like SpongeBob is the smartest person in town for not believing in Wumbo. Then we see Squickle being born.

     

    Squidward also says a clever shrink joke.

     

    "I wonder if a fall from this height could kill me"

     

    So after Wumbo, SpongeBob, instead of growing Squidward, SHRINKS PATRICK INSTEAD! Then he doesn't want anyone to find out, so he puts the two in a jar, then shrinks SANDY, and then SHRINKS the whole population!!!!! Again, random shrinking, what else do we ask for? SpongeBob finds out he shrunk MM and BB and apologizes with a "Shrinking for Years" joke. Mermaid Man also asks if he could set it to, let's hear it, WUMBO! Everyone goes on a rage and destroy SpongeBob's inners while making clever shrink jokes, until SpongeBob, since he couldn't make them normal, made the city small! Shrink Everything! He shrinks himself, too. Everyone celebrates. And then a great ending comes, Plankton comes back to town on a bus, but he's giant compared to it! And it ends. 

     

    So there's no real story in the episode, but there are so many humorous Shrink jokes, as well as actual shrinking, and of Course WUMBO made this episode very enjoyable and funny. Again, what more could we ask of?

    Mrs. Puff, You're Fired

    Premiere: April 1, 2006

    This episode is one of the reasons why Season 4 is my Second Favorite Season. I think the majority of the episodes on the list come from Season 3 and 4. The episode starts off with an intro to Mr. Fitz, to tell Mrs Puff that SpongeBob has failed, lets see...

     

    "1,268,056 times!"

     

    He tells Mrs. Puff that if SpongeBob doesn't pass this test, she will be fired. Of course, SpongeBob fails instantly. Mrs Puff is finally happy and goes off to her life, because she hates SpongeBob. SpongeBob is sorry about Mrs Puff and himself until a new teacher, that seems more like a general, comes in and kicks out everyone who talks, eats, or is scared. SpongeBob is not and goes on his dangerous course. He has to crawl, though, and when he steps on Pebble #143, he overreacts and the teacher painstakingly trains him until he finishes crawling, walking, dismantling and fixing, dodging pedestrians on, and running it. Then he has to do it blindfolded.  patrickboosmiley.png Just Kidding.

     

    So when he is FINALLY ready to drive, he does it perfectly. But we don't know that he can't drive WITHOUT a blindfold. When he is tested, he has to take it off and drives at square 0, destroying half the town and going through funny scenarios, after picking up Mrs Puff and crashing over the new teacher.

     

    "All I had to do was unscrew two little bolts!"

     

    And when he destroys it, Patrick's Bermuda shorts land on his face, and he drives perfectly again.

     

    "Hey, I can't see!"

     

    But that doesn't fix the recklessness in the first half. But hey, at least he knows how to drive. Mrs Puff gets hired again and also, SpongeBob's record was burned in the rubble, as if he never failed. SpongeBob gives Mrs Puff her name tag glued back together and promises her it won't take a million times again. This episode was just great, and it had a lot of good jokes, new, original characters, and a simple plot extended to a great 11 minutes not wasted.

    So this one is a classic, and unlike Truth or Square, an ordinary episode. The episode starts when Spring starts off in the first day of Spring, when we see a documentary-like intro about the starfish, and this happens...

     

     

     

    We go to a scene where SpongeBob says good morning to the flowers and Squidward getting sprayed by them. SpongeBob thinks he has hay fever and plants him some hypo-allergenic flowers. Whenever he plants them, they mysteriously disappear. So he keeps an eye on another one for 3 days.

     

    "Hi, SpongeBob!"

     

    "Oh, hi Patrick!"

     

     

    DAN DAN DAN!!!!!!!

     

    Turns out it was a Seahorse eating them, which causes SpongeBob to want to tame her. So he thinks of a name like "Grace" or "Majesty," or Debbie. And she spots his bookmark thinking its a flowers, making them suddenly friends. We got to a hilarious montage of the two, and then they go to work. While Mystery waits outside, do I have to explain?

     

     

     

    Krabs says to get rid of Mystery or he's fired, so instead of doing that, he put Mystery in the closet, which she got tired of in under 15 seconds. And other stuff happens involving Mystery's appetite.

     

    "Mystery you ate my hat! Mystery you ate my Spatula. You ate the stove! You Ate all the Krabby Patties! YOU ATE OLD MAN JENKINS!"  

     

    Squidward then tells on him and Krabs is really mad, but then tells a story of his best friend, a dollar he spent on a soda!

     

     

     

    "Hey, who left this bowl of onions here?!"

     

    SpongeBob sadly lets go, but Mystery just runs along. Krabs thanks him, but then we find out Mystery ate all of his money!

     

    "GET THAT HORSE"

     

    This episode was very sweet and funny, and had a great lesson, "If you love something, set it free," It was an episode with a great, original story and fantastic character usage. And it has one of the best endings ever.

     

     

     

    Also, all the episodes on the list ARE ones I love, so if one is lower than you like, don't complain, it was all very close.

    SpongeBob, as you all know, is my favorite show of all time. And since it just turned 15 today, why not make a top 50? So, I did! This time, however, I will make it seem like I am with you, as I am planning to make this into a video edition. Anyways,  hooray for the achievement! So what are my Honorable Mentions? Well, if I were to say them, we'd be here all day, so let's start with #50!

    Okay, you may be very surprised at this pick, because it's very underrated, and I put it at #10 on my original worst list, and also you may be wondering why it's even top 50 worthy. Let me explain, I decided that when putting a special on here, I will NOT include the Patchy Plot, because that is absolutely horrible in this episode, but the rest is quite enjoyable and memorable. In fact, it was one of my favorites when it first came out.

     

    Other than Patchy, there are two really big flaws that piss me off every time I see them. Those I'll get to later. 

     

    It starts off with an AMAZING stop-motion intro theme performed by Cee-Lo Green. Let me tell you, for the first time doing this, it is just outstanding. I love stop-motion, by the way. 

     

    After some USELESS Patchy filler, the episode starts with a lot of Alarm Clocks beeping, which just proves how good it becomes, and we get to see a funny flashback of before SpongeBob was born. Maybe SpongeBob is not much of an idiot after all. Then comes this AMAZING musical number called "A Day Like This". Then he walks to the "Eleventy-Seventh" anniversary of the KK. 

     

     

     

    And he goes to work through the crime, OF HOUR LONG WAITING LINES. He ends up stepping on everyone's head and gets to the Krusty Krab to see a presentation. Then comes another flashback of all the times Squidward slept on the job, which they somehow puled off well, and we see Mr. Krabs hired Patrick.

     

    "Who are you! And who are you working for!" 

     

    Meanwhile, Plankton is devising a plan to steal the formula in the commotion of the party, while we see a funny flashback of Plankton getting tossed.

     

    Actually, there's a lot to cover. I got by the last on by making 30% of the review literally typed-in ::dolphin noise::'s. We go to another flashback of how SpongeBob decorated, with a Western, Disco, and Lunar themes, and we see a montage of SpongeBob doing some AMAZING decorating with only restaurant items. When they are about to open the doors, everyone gets over-excited (except Squidward) until, here it comes, they go to the freezer to get a GIANT ode to the Krabby Patty and, wait for it, SpongeBob slips and accidentally get Pat, Squid, Krabs, and him locked in! They devise a plan to get out using a high-school diploma the air duct. They end up going to 20 different paths, so SpongeBob squeezes a map.

     

    "We just head straight, take a right by those tree stumps, and jump over that kidney-shaped puddle of Gravy!"

     

    Actually, those landmarks were 3 moles and a Birth Mark. So they decide to go straight and end up falling for miles.When they hit the bottom, Krabs finds a Krabby Patty Packaging, and we see a flashback of the first Krusty Krab commercial. It was a time where Krabby Patties only costed a dime. Mr Krabs called it the dark age because of that. The then find a room, which is actually a surveillance room. Gary is jumping on the bed, Patrick's TV is on, and Sandy is brushing her teeth, while people film them! Clever. 

     

    Meanwhile Plankton goes into the duct system and falls.

     

    Oh great, MORE Patchy filler, let's flash-forward a few minutes...

     

    Now we get to the bad part. After splitting up and ending up in a dead end with sock-gaurds, Plankton lands on the gang and it reminds SpongeBob about the time Mr Krabs told him the formula. We go to a flashback of that, starting with SB and Krabs going on a big journey to a secret place, only to, plot twist, end up back at the Krusty Krab! After that is the 1st flaw. Mr Krabs is about to tell SpongeBob the formula, but Plankton is using this as an advantage and tries to write it down, but his pen is out of ink and Krabs flings him again. Unfortunately, the formula is never revealed.

     

    Witers, HOW COULD YOU ::dolphin noise::ING DO THIS! IT'S NOT ::dolphin noise::ING FUNNY!

     

    And that was the first time on the site that I purposely swore. But it comes back to the positives with a flashback of Squidward before and after SpongeBob moved in. It was an enjoyable backstory and a funny one. I do feel a little bad for Squid, though. Then the customers go on an even BIGGER rage, making Mr Krabs wallet pant, hold on, it's alive? Then when Mr Krabs idiotically throws it down a crack, some guy picks it up! Okay, even though that is wrong, they pulled it off.

     

    Then they find out Patrick has a walkie-talkie leading to Sandy's tree dome and calls her, no literally, he YELLS for her to come and get it. Squidward smartly calls her and then Patrick thinks Sandy's IN the device and smashes it! Does Patrick have some kind of hate for technology? He smashed a PC in Wet Painters, a Sub in Squidtastic Voyage, a Camera in Atlantis SquarePantis, and now this! Wow Patrick. 

     

    Now for the SECOND flaw. The Wedding Scene. I can't even explain this one. I have to show it to you to show how BAD it is. Writers, THIS IS NOT ::dolphin noise::ING FUNNY EITHER! WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR BOTH THESE SCENES TO HAPPEN FOR A DECADE, AND YOU ::dolphin noise::ING RUINED IT! GOSH! AND NOW I ::dolphin noise::ING HATE THEM BOTH MORE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

     

     

     

    That was the second time I purposely cursed. But back to the positives, after MORE Patchy filler, the Gang starts giving up and saying their solemn last words. Krabs not making money, Squid not sitting with envy, and Patrick not sleeping in. But not SpongeBob, he has a plan to use their heads, no really, as a BATTERING RAM! They get out, but when that happened, everyone left. Everyone is disappointed. But SpongeBob is grateful for getting this far. He sings a great Christmas song parody and brings everyone back. I am touched. Plankton was then ready to steal the recipe, but before he gets out, the Krusty Krab goes from Empty to Full and tramples him. He is then tripped over by SpongeBob and Mr Krabs catches him and shoots him again, well, no, he inflates him this time. And then it ends with SpongeBob saying this.

     

    "Happy Eleventy-Seventh, Krusty Krab!"

     

    So this episode I really had second thoughts over since I first joined, this special, despite the two godawful scenes, were funny and memorable, and was an AWESOME tenth anniversary Special. Only five more years on the hourglass set...
