Still got one more year. Sophomore year credits from my previous school didn't transfer, so I had to add on an extra year.

Ah, okay. I myself don't know what school I'll go to. I know for a fact I was put on this planet to do animation, so definitely an art school.

One month to go. Ended up being one of six people in my major chosen for a studio space and I'm finally coming close to figuring out a story for thesis.

    Exciiiiiiiiiiited.

    I thought you graduated college?

  3. What are your thoughts on PC culture? Thought this would be an interesting topic to make. Now hopefully this goes a lot better than the feminism topic and I will try my best to conduct myself well here.

It goes without saying, do not attack other people for their opinions. This goes both ways too.

Now personally, I agree with the basic idea of PC. Everybody regardless of sexuality, gender, race, mental illness, or socioeconomic status, is equal. But unfortunately, it looks like the extreme side of this goes way, way too far. Now I'm not saying this is true of anyone in particular, but it really grinds my gears when I see people who claim to be inclusive and accepting, yet they shun or hurt other people in the process.

Reverse sexism or racism is never okay. It never will be, and no matter what backwards logic these kinds of people use, it will never make sense. This also goes against the entire principle of PC, so it's very hypocritical.

And speaking as someone who is mentally ill, I've also noticed that the extreme side of these people claim to be speaking for an entire group, and when someone from that group disagrees, they go after them, and either question if they really are part of said group or spread vitriol.

It is not okay to jump to conclusions and attack people because they disagree with you. This has done harm, and a lot of people are probably afraid to talk about these issues or outright lie about them.

Now I know there are people who consider themselves a part of this culture, and they are respectful and don't go too far, and that's great. It's just a shame the culture has this tainted image from these sorts of people.

Bleh. Hopefully I worded this well.

  4. I moved around schools a lot, and one of them was a charter school and we'd have one teacher for the entire grade. Didn't really work out too well. My fourth grade teacher was a douche and would constantly insert politics into everything (even though she's teaching to 10-11 year olds) and get overtly mad and flip out and insult everyone. There was one situation where most of the class was talking and while I can see why she got frustrated, she went way too far and personally insulted everyone and said they'd go nowhere in life and failed everyone in History. As you can see, I have some emotional trauma from that.

And equally I'd go with the art class I took in fifth grade. Teacher was really mean and yelled at me for wasting everyone's time because I got distracted and I was confused about something. Art class was never really useful to me anyways because they never taught you anything about drawing.

I don't have anything past then because I've been homeschooled for 4 years.

  5. Trump or Hillary? Personally, I dislike both, but I'd go for Trump if I could vote. I hate how people are acting like if he's president, the country will implode. Sure, he's not particularly bright and he's kind of a jackass, but that's not how these things work.

I think Trump will win the election.

I still think he will. I think there are less Trump haters than we think there are. Remember there are a lot of Americans who are either silent on their political views or don't really care much.

Plus, I think the leaked emails, the DNC leaks and terrorism are bumping up Trump's chances. Remember he's as outrageous as he is because of the political environment we're in.

If there's no backwards compatibility, I'm no longer interested. Although I wasn't planning to ever get an NX to begin with, that's just stupid. Why'd there be no backwards compatibility?

The NX will allegedly use cartridges and use a different architecture. It's using some weird Nvidia mobile chip. The Wii U runs on a Power PC chip.

  8. The whole DNC leaks thing has ensured that if I could vote, I'd never vote for Hillary. No matter what side you're on, you have to admit that's really fucked up. They rigged it so Sanders would lose and they'd set up her to win. And in general, I think people are over-reacting about Trump. I was right a year ago when I said I wasn't that afraid of him and he mostly wanted attention. People should know by now that most politicians lie or try to get attention to win.

    Politics are broken. Yuck.

Did you see Warcraft?  I know you saw Ratchet & Clank so that's not it.  Once again, you can't generalize statements like this without seeing the movie for yourself.  I know people, and not just the general consensus and the almighty RottenTomatoes score, who thought Ratchet & Clank was terrible, yet I'm not going to say that since I never saw the movie for myself.  Also, the Resident Evil movies were pretty solid adaptations.  Not always the best movies, but they're amusing.

Oh, I can definitely see why people didn't like the Ratchet movie. I completely get it. The main problem with it was that it focused more on being faithful to the games than being a good movie. As a result, the writing is very sloppy and half-assed, and the direction and editing are all over the place. Without the deeper context to the characters or the lore that someone like me would have, the movie is just a generic hackneyed cash grab.

I haven't seen it, but I thought that movie wasn't received very well. I honestly say though videogame-to-movie adaptations are normally a bad idea in general. Just because of what we've seen so far... But if this movie is centering around the cute lil' Detective Pikachu then I'll watch it. (But I guess I would watch anything related to Pokemon tbh)

You're half-right. Critics and general audiences did not like it very much, to put it lightly. And admittedly, there are a lot of storytelling faults and you have to be a fan of the games to appreciate the depth that the characters unfortunately lacked, and a lot of the easter eggs. Personally, as an adaptation, I thought it was very faithful, but as a movie it was very messy.
