  1. Holy carp how did I not read this earlier? I love this, you capture the personalities of the members so perfectly and blend it with the GF character's personalities and it works so well. Also loved my cameo. :P

    thanks for the avatar

  2. Cartoon Network definitely has the most variety in their cartoons of any of the networks. Disney has some incredible shows right now but a lot of their new obscure Disney XD stuff is all the same really. Nickelodeon relies too much on appealing to younger kids with their new shows and they have fewer shows that appeal to larger age groups. Cartoon Network however has shows that young kids like, more serious shows, and comedy based shows that can all appeal to every age group equally so the obvious pick for me is CN.

  3. I think their biggest missed opportunity this summer was making a theme for all summer. I remember when they did the Beach Party and Summer Splash themes where they had actual Nicktoon characters hosting the new episodes back when they actually premiered them in the summer. They haven't done anything like this in years, which may have to do with their lower ratings, but even if they did something with SpongeBob, the Ninja Turtles, Fairly Odd Parents, Harvey, and maybe even the newer Nicktoons hosting the summer releases in a funny and interesting way I'm sure they would have pulled in a lot more viewers.

  4. I've put more money than I want to admit into a lot of things, mostly electronics, but the most expensive thing I have is probably my $400 iPad. Technically though, the most expensive thing I'd say I have is my Lego collection. Over the past six years I probably put at least two grand into it, and the city that I made takes up a good forty square feet of the basement. :P

  5. Originally I wasn't even planning on watching this show at all. I saw the pilot when it came out and it was pretty good actually, but I assumed they wouldn't be able to keep that style for long in the show. When Vincent Waller started commenting about this show on Twitter it made me more interested to check it out. It was pretty good, I like the animation and how they really expand the time slot for each episode into a big story. Yes, a lot of it was predictable and there are a few cringeworthy gags here and there but overall it's starting off pretty well and I'll give it a chance.

  6. I don't know why but I just keep thinking this is the perfect episode to use this old production music track in.

As for the episode itself, I do have high expectations especially since Sherm said "You guys are gonna dig it". To me that says he thinks it's a major improvement with the new staff working on them.

  7. You're crazy. :P

It actually wasn't as hard as it seems for me to find it :P

I really love these character models. These are probably the best we've had since season four.

I'm really surprised with his arm placement. It all just looks so perfect.

Looks like Scooter's been hanging around the wrong people

  8. If they did a Mermaid Man and Barnacly Boy cartoon I think it could be awesome. Obviously they couldn't use the same actors that played them old but if they could get Adam West and Burt Ward or even someone who sounds enough like they did to do a young adventures series, and use some of the writers for the MM + BB comics in the SB series, it definitely could be great.

Other than that, a Squidward themed spin off could be good too, with the right writers and ideas.
