    Nah, it's not just you. I've also noticed the emphasis on Blossom being organized all the time to the point where it feels like it's taking over her actual character and is becoming her only character trait. I wish we'd see more of her personality from before, but I guess we'll see ?

    I'm not one to nit pick on certain little things in a cartoon, but those mainstream and meme jokes are terrible. It absolutely does not work for this show, the PPG's. It kind of works for something like WBB but not PPG. 

    With that being said, I think this reboot is ok-good thus far. The episodes do seem kind of slow sometimes, but I do like the new villains included, the girls similar personalities, plots, and how overall the show feels like it's happening 1 or 2 years after the original show with the incorporation of a new school, new phone, new characters etc.

    I'll still be watching this show for now but hopefully it can continue to grow.

    Why do people hate season 6 for the love triangle thing? It only takes up like 3-5 out of the 28 episodes on the season :P

     

    Let me remind you all of episodes like The Real Thomas, Men In Uniform, Benson's Suit, Death Kwon Do-Livery etc.

    Finally another person who feels the show never went downhill. It's one of my favorite shows of all time as well.

    192a. Company Picnic

    I enjoyed it.

     

    I loved the setting of the episode, the limited amount of characters involved, and the plot felt original and unique. The two robots were a cool addition and Plankton had a sort of different plan for once instead of directly trying to steal the formula. There were some good faces and moments like the slow mo part and the hologram twist ending was cool. I actually wasn't expecting that. The beginning was a bit slow but I did like seeing SpongeBob imitate the voices of the Krabby Patties, pretty funny. There was also some nice callback to earlier episodes like Shell Of A Man.

     

    Overall, this episode was really good in my opinion. THE GREATEST COMPANY PICNIC EVER!!

    192b. Pull Up a Barrel

    Since Nick is still airing promos for this, I assume it might be airing Friday after all. Therefore, I have edited the first post to reflect this. I am aware the schedules say Company Picnic is airing, but it's possible maybe both will air. We'll see.

    I think both episodes airing is likely the case, so hopefully it is and we can get two episodes a week which is better!

     

    But tbh I don't even know what's happening and Nick really sucks at everything.

     

    Bottom line is, at least we're getting something new next week. Unless Nickelodeon messes that up as well    :angrytom:

    So since I'm a little bored right now, I've decided to write another story with my bad writing! :P I made one not too long ago:

    The Adventures Of GarneRick

     

    Plot: So Garnet seems to have a lot of "secret" and "personal" missions that she does alone as seen on the show "Steven Universe". But what exactly are those secret missions? What does she do? Well, you'd be surprised. In this story, It describes what she did in the episode "Chille Tid" while Steven, Amethyst and Pearl were having that slumber party. You'd think that she was searching for Malachite or some other gem thing, but she actually wasn't... Read more to find out.

    Chapter 1: We're Malachite GarneRick now!

     

    It was night time in bikini bottom with Patrick laying on his rock, sleeping. SpongeBob was walking back home from work and awoke Patrick.

     

    SB: Hey Pat, remember our plans to go jellyfishing in the morning? We still have those plans, right buddy?

     

    Pat: Of course SpongeBob! But uhhh, don't you have work tomorrow?

     

    SB: Actually no, it's my first day off in 365 days! Later buddy!

     

    *SB goes home, Patrick continues to sleep*

     

    Patrick continued to lay back down, but not too far from him, something was going on

     

    Garnet was under water in Bikini Bottom in search of Malachite... Or was she. Garnet approached Patrick's rock and said to herself:

     

    "wow, that's a good looking starfish... Hey Ruby and Sapphire, you guys think we can triple the excitement and fuse with this devilish pink creature?"

     

    Garnet/Ruby and Sapphire agreed. Garnet then said:

     

    "Alright let's have the greatest day of our lives. We only have a few hours considering Steven, Amethyst and Pearl are having a slumber party, so they can't know we're doing this."

     

    Garnet approached Patrick and woke him up.

     

    Garnet: Listen pink guy, how would you like to spend the night with 2 hot space rocks?

     

    ...

     

    Patrick: OK  :hehe:

     

    With that, Garnet and Patrick began to fuse. It was a very sexy dance...  :PatDance:

     

    And thus, they became... GarneRick, ready to have an intense and fun night.

    And that was chapter one of this incredibly weird story that doesn't make much sense :P I'm not trying to put a lot of sense into it anyways, just trying to make it fun to read.

     

    Tell me if there's any errors, plot holes, and more importantly what you guys thought about this.

     

    Also, maybe this may not have been the best time to start this writing thing considering school is right around the corner but... yeah  :face:

    Super-strength sounds okay since I don't think it has any downsides.

    I'll go with wood since I like the texture.

    Not only that, but I've found the plot of Pull Up a Barrel:

     

    "Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob tales from his old navy days."

     

    Okay, this sounds interesting. I'll assume Company Picnic is keeping the same plot from when we first discovered it.
