  1. Are these new episodes not egregiously bad, but just really bland and kind of lacking a soul? I saw three episodes this morning – SpongeBob LongPants, Larry's Gym and SpongeCopy DittoPants (I think that's what it was called) and none of them were particularly bad, but they weren't good either. They were in this weird limbo that just felt off kilter. Jokes were odd, animation seemed out of place and trying to emulate the mannerisms of newer cartoons, and it seems like they use the same background soundtrack in every episode (which is annoying and creates this deja vu experience for me where each ep feels stale). I don't know, all three episodes felt very hollow to me.

Am I alone in this assertion? Anyone else getting this vibe? The last batch of episodes I saw was Season 8/early Season 9, all of which were very good imo.

  2. While I think Cydney deserved the win based on gameplay alone, Michelle definitely played an underrated game. She's the archetype of a hero on Survivor and remaining loyal and constructing solid relationships is very under-appreciated (i.e. Nathalie White). Did Michelle ever actually betray anyone aside from Julia? I can't remember. Either way, she's definitely a respectable winner and someone I'd like to see back for an all-winners season.

I thought Season 1 was fine, but Season 2 was where the series really started to pick up.  It wasn't until the second half of Season 5 where I noticed a slight decline in quality.  That back half of Season 5 still had some of the best episodes of the entire series like Target and Hunt but you could still notice that it wasn't as excellent though.  But yeah I agree the last three seasons weren't as good and this last season in particular was rock bottom, but it can still end strong though.

    so how bout that finale

  4. Series finale tonight. Cannot express how much I love this show; I've watched nearly every episode live. Praise God it's ending, this past season has been stanky and they fired one of the main characters. Bullshit.

This is what happens when you have a full year to edit the content

Is that really why tho. edit contributes a hell of a lot, but there has to be stuff to work with in the first place, and the characters this season have performed wonderfully in that department.

  6. I saw this a few weeks ago... what a great movie. It's nothing revolutionary, but it's funny, cute, and eye candy. It has the typical Disney feel, and I loved the theme of racial equality – very prevalent today.

    Much better than Frozen imo

  7. Finally got around to listening, and my God, what a mess this is. It goes in so many different directions, so sloppy and petulant. It's not focused at all. Definitely his worst album to date imo

    Thoughts?

  8. To Kill a Mockingbird is an American great. She will be missed.

I feel incredibly bad for her however. I can't help but feel her publishers grossly took advantage of her in publishing Go Set a Watchman. All for money. They said her consent was given, but she was an old woman with an ailing mind. I can't remember where I read it, but I also think one of her loved ones expressed doubt about if she really knew what was going on. Logically, as well, if she had wanted to released a second novel, she would have done it earlier in life. Who knows? May she rest in peace.

  9. What's your favorite city you've ever visited/lived in?

There's a beautiful city in California here about 2-3 hours north of Los Angeles called Santa Barbara and it's absolutely stunning. It has an amazing laid-back atmosphere and a stereotypical beach/surf Californian culture.

Aside from that, I love San Francisco, New York City, and Mazatlán.

  10. I think it should stay at 18. While some 16 year olds are more than capable of voting, I don't think a huge majority of them have a ready understanding of politics and the U.S. government to be voting. That being said, neither do a lot of 18 year olds.

My biggest fear is that lowering the voting age would open the door to a Trump victory, wherein some kids find it funny to vote for him and he would win.
