It began on November 7th, 2015 with Season 9A and have been sporadically held over the years since. Tournaments were done for the following seasons: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9A, 9B, 10, 11 and 12. [[Jjs Goodman|Jjs]] came up with the idea after seeing episode tournaments on the Technodrome, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles forum.
