Why is SpongeBob so obsessed with its theme song?
This isn't the first time it was referenced

Worst of the week IMHO
The episode was ok...until it got to the whole "Plankton's Grandma loves Squidward" thing
Seeing them feeding each other really killed the episode
This would have been more tolerable without that part!

I found the most hideous SpongeBob Kids' Meal toys on the website for Burger King France
WARNING: This is the stuff of nightmares!
Oh they also mispelled Stephen Hillenburg's name lol

I'm not much of a "shipper" but Spearl is okay
They really do look cute together

TBPH, I don't think Sandy truly loves anyone
We've seen her with SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, and even Mr. Krabs
I have come to the conclusion that she's just a player
Sandy uses and abuses the 4 guys

Happy and relieved
Nickelodeon needs to stop relying on SpongeBob so much and move forward
If they don't, they're going to die!
200+ episodes is an impressive feat and the cast & crew should feel PROUD
But you gotta know when to let go

How "SpongeBob SquarePants" should end:
-SpongeBob gets his driver's license
-Krabby Patty Secret Formula is finally revealed
-Mr. Krabs retires and marries Mrs. Puff
-Plankton becomes the new owner of the Krusty Krab
-Sandy moves back to Texas

Yes & no
There have been a LOT of improvements but also mis-steps
For one, the show is getting darker which can be attributed to Sponge out of Water
Not to mention, most of the adult humor that made SpongeBob so beloved has disappeared with fart/butt jokes in it's place
In other words SpongeBob SquarePants no longer is able to be distinguished from the rest of the kids' cartoons
SpongeBob now is like Breadwinners, Teen Titans GO, or Sanjay and Craig
It has lost it's identity
Nickelodeon has let this go on for too long and it's time to stop IMHO

Actually yes, I think SpongeBob should have ended with the first movie
Nickelodeon/Viacom made the wrong decision to renew it!
That's what ruined them
Now they're paying the price

TBH I didn't really like it
WAY too dark for SpongeBob
The only part I enjoyed was the fight sequence against Burgerbeard during the last 30 minutes
Hated everything else
Yet another sign that Nick really needs to put this show out to pasture!

It didn't seem like a true conclusion to SpongeBob
I also hated Sponge out of Water except for the fight scene against Burgerbeard during the last 30 minutes
SBSP doesn't translate well to the big screen
Nick's previous cash cow Rugrats did a better job at that

I prefer Rugrats although I won't deny that SpongeBob made a TREMENDOUS impact on pop-culture!
Still I don't think SBSP deserved to outlast Rugrats
The latter stayed consistently good even in its later years while the former started to falter after the first movie

I don't really care for this pairing but at least it makes more sense than Daisy & Pete in Mickey and the Roadster Racers
Plus Sponge out of Water strongly hinted at something happening between the 2...

If a main character MUST be taken away it should be Pearl
She can easily be removed without affecting the show!
They can say she left Bikini Bottom to go to college
Also something else that would help is more underutilized character interactions
How about Larry & Plankton, Mrs. Puff & Plankton, Larry & Squidward, Squidward & Sandy, Larry & Patrick, etc?
We've seen how some of them work, namely Larry & Squidward (Squid plus One) and Squidward & Sandy (Sponge out of Water, Feral Friends, Squidtastic Voyage, Sportz, Frozen Face-off, etc)
Wait...Mrs. Puff & Plankton already happened
I can't think of much character combinations that haven't happened yet

Right now SBSP is a broken show but I have some ideas on how to fix it
(since cancellation is out of the question at least this period in time)If SpongeBob absolutely HAS to keep going here's how I'd give it new life:
-Removal of Sandy, Pearl, or Squidward
-Mr. Krabs is less money-obsessed
-Plankton stops pursuing the secret formula
-SpongeBob finally gets his boating license
-No more suicide jokes
-Secret formula reveal
-Ceasing of most squid abuse
(if Squidward isn't removed)
-Location variation
-Introduction of new recurring characters
-Unique episode types
All of this needed to happen after Sponge out of Water but the only major change made was the show got darker
One of the BIGGEST problems with SpongeBob is it has stuck with the same characters at the cost of originality
Say what you want about The Fairly OddParents however you can't deny Chloe has given it a new dynamic
The same needs to happen with SpongeBob or people will lose interest!
Do you think SpongeBob would benefit from removing Sandy, Pearl, or Squidward?
No Sandy means no Texas, karate, or science plots
No Pearl means no mall, bratty teenager, or "I hate my dad" plots
No Squidward means no art, clarinet, or annoyed by SpongeBob & Patrick plots
In their place would be 3 new characters who can bring life to this lifeless show
I really believe new character additions could help things out

I used to love SpongeBob SquarePants but now I don't because it's ruining Nickelodeon
Sure I still watch the show but only because I'm bored with TV
The episodes are getting stranger too!
It's a shame to see how far downhill SpongeBob has gone
