  1. This is my FAVORITE Book of all time. And has replaced Saint Seiya as my all time Fav Fiction.

I watched the Movie a few days ago. Read the book back in Jan of this year and I find myself rereading parts of it frequently. I would go on a long fanboy rant if I explained my true feelings for Gone With the Wind so I will keep it short. I really identify with the heroine Scarlett O'Hara.

I'll just leave it there and will add more of my opinions of this later as more people discuss it for I fear I may make the OP EXTREMELY LOOOOOONGG XDD

    Have anyone read this book?

  2. I haven't gotten around to rewatching Season 1 but I will this year!

However one thing I always loved about Spongebob is despite being a children's show, if you observe the dialogue and episode plots, you can often find philosophical messages that an older audience could spot. This thread is to discuss such themes which I will soon be observing as I rewatch Season 1.

Feel free to put your input!

  3. I got Gemini 347°

" The sociable Gemini - moons are mentally active and flexible, merry and adventurous. Their need for contact with their fellow human being is like their need of air to breathe. Invariably they are the spontaneous jack of all trades, people who always put their noses to the wind and who can't stand living in the same place more than a couple of years. Monotony horrors for them, they like change, are enterprising and motivate their fellow human beings. Their vividness makes them easily appear superficial, unsteady and easygoing. They are in danger of dispersing themselves. Emotions are not very profound and are dominated by their reasoning. They can handle sorrow, worries and anxieties more easily than others."

The first two sentences and last one are the most true. The rest, eh.

Probably the rest of your chart is interacting with your Moon Sign particularly the Aspects (more advanced Astrology for later). Also keep in mind the paragraphs in the side are simplistic basic explanations-each moon sign is much more complex than the paragraphs give and the site is mostly supposed to serve as an introduction to Moon Signs. Moon Sign alone is very complex as is each placement in your chart that you can find books specifically devoted to one aspect of Astrology (Rising Sign, Mercury, Pluto, etc) :D.

I'm a Scorpio in both Moon & Sun. Awkward.

So you're a Double Scorpio. I wouldn't want to make you angry lol (oh I LIVE with a Scorpio Moon and I seen their vindictive nature frst hand)

    Mine said:

    o

    Pisces-109

    other siblings: a BONUS

    o

    Big brother: Taurus-352

    o

    Big sister: Sagittarius-315

    o

    Little sister: Aquarius-47

Be sure to have their birth certificates (or that you at least memorized or written down their birth times somewhere)! I'm going to start on Ascendant pretty soon which REQUIRES PRECISE BIRTH TIME!

  4. I just finished Gone With the Wind and Doctor Zhivago in my 3 month log absence from this forum :). Gone With the Wind is a MASTERPIECE. In fact my current Avi is a screenshot of Scarlett O'Hara (Gone With the Wind's protagonist) ;).

  5. We all know what our Sun Signs are,. In fact I made a Poll back in April of this year 2012 concerning fellow SBC users Sun (Zodiac) signs.

    http://www.sbcforums...ur-zodiac-sign/

But what very few people know is that there is more than just mere "Sun (Zodiac)" Signs. There is so much mroe advanced things in Astrology and the Moon Sign happens to be one of them.

The Sun Signs is what we basically associate as the "Zodiac Sign" that we know of based on our birthday. It has been quite over-exaggerated and over-emphasized in its importance in Astrology by Newspaper and Magazines. Overall its just your general tendencies in life and its mostly important as a starting point to find your natal chart, which is your Astrological map of your personality. Its one of the "main 3s" of a person's chart, the other being the Moon Sign and Rising Sign/Ascendant (both which IMO plays a much bigger role and is more important in Astrology IMO).

The Moon Sign basically is your inner-self. Its the side that you normally don't reveal to the outer world and indeed only those truly close to you such as your immediate family or best friends see it (or at least are aware you have the traits that associated with your Moon Sign). The Moon Sign practically is your placement that determines how you react emotionally and subconscious.

Even if you don't match your Moon Sign at all, from what I observed more often than the Moon Sign's description often matches WHO YOU WANT TO BE which was totally true for me. Strip every other thing of your Natal Chart (Sun Sign, Ascendant,Degrees, etc), it is WHO YOU ARE at the core. Its an interesting phenomena I noticed of how accurate the Moon Sign can be when used with Psychology to discover why you have certain psychological problems and indeed ever since I learned the fundamental information about my personal information I've found a map that I can use to learn more about myself and to use as to change myself.

To calculate your Moon Sign, use this calculator.

    I have a Moon in Leo 25°.

Everything I WANTED to be for year but could not and its only now that I made the resolve to BE THAT MAN after studying deeper levels of Astrology,

  6. I wish I was a lion. It's boring being a ram.

Who knows, you might have a Moon in Leo or Leo Ascendant? :P

Wait, isn't August mainly the month of Leo?

July 23-August 22 is the month of Leo under normal circumstances.

I'm the only Leo here. This lion feels lonely. :SquidGroan:

No need to fear-there is also a Lunar Leo here (me) :P !

  7. Indoors, most of my activities are confined inside the house though I will start going outdoors alot more this summer(not for sports necessarily but just to date, go out to conventions, go to debate club, etc.)

  8. XD as some of you seen in my intro, I'm a diehard fanatic of Saint Seiya. Saint Seiya is a series that revolves around constellations and the Zodiac signs, and back in the Saint Seiya I frequent(and am taking a break from right now), there's lots of discussions in regards to the Zodiac sign and there's even a subforum devoted specifically to discussion of the Zodiac and Astrology/Astronomy.

Well I thought this might be a fun topic to discuss rantipole.

    I'm a PROUD PISCES :D!

I had to cut the poll options down and combine some signs such as Pisces and Cancer as the same option because it only the system only accepts 10 poll options total.

  9. Watched episodes Help Wanted and Reef Blower. Wow I can't believe its been over 10 years since I last saw those two episodes.

Despite how a large number of the SB fandom whine and complain how the new episodes are inferior, I got to say that the new episodes blow out the early ones out of the water in almost every way.Even the humor in classic SB was not as funny as I once thought years ago and felt more generic "Spongebobesque" humor than something unique as I felt when the Season 1 first aired.

Will update later once I reached Season 2.

  10. XD I used the search engine on this site to check if a thread for this game already existed. This thread did not appear hence the repeat thread which I apologize for.

As I mentioned in my created duplicate, I was in the mood for a Spongebob game but I lost my copy of the Movie game so I ordered Battle for Bikini Bottom on Xbox which I learned of years ago in an OXM demo disc and later wented from Blockbuster (and that was freakin 10 years ago, damn we grow up fast!). I fell in love with the game and was about to get it at some point but instead I found the Movie Game on the Xbox for bargain in Gamestop and bought that instead.

I look forward to having a blast with this game after a hiatus of 5 years! :D

  11. The original Z was the shit back in the day. I watch Kai, but everything seems a lot more rushed and a lot less dramatic and climactic. I know Kai is more akin to following along the manga hence it's differences but it has nothing on the original.

I've watched the original Dragonball and it's still a childhood face. Back in the days when Yamcha and the others were important and not overshadowed or overpowered by other characters. GT, meh, it was mildly alight for what it was.

Are you referring to the Japanese version of Z?Yeah that was freaking BEAST baby! I never liked the Ocean/Funimation dubs. They really dumbed down DBZ into a little kid's show.

As much as I enjoyed Kai, I do feel that so much was rush. Some fight scenes were literally #$&@ed by cutting up the filler scenes. Plus the music, while good, wasn't as intense for the fights as the Kikuchi score was.

Yeah GT was a massive EPIC FAIL. XD

How would you say the anime VS manga?

  12. Finished reading the original Dragon Ball manga and recently started on Z. Really enjoying it.

I just finished this last week! Man I feel back in love with Dragon Ball upon finishing it and I got to say no other manga I read including Saint Seiya have such battles that have been as intense and epic as Dragon Ball especially Part Z!

Volume 7 (as its released in the US) , Vegita VS Goku, alone is almost exclusively fighting. Yet it hooked me on so much and was so exciting I had to keep on reading on with it until the conclusion of the battle (despite seeing the anime counterpart years ago).

How would you say the anime of DB 1 compare with the manga?Look forward to chatting about Z in a seperate thread.

Also I seen some of your posts here and you have read other manga. Do you happen to be familiar with Saint Seiya?

  13. I had this game but lost it XD. So I ended up ordering Battle For Bikini Bottom on the Xbox(which I rented from Blockbuster 10 years ago) and am looking forward to releasing my inner Spongebob fanboy out as I play it when it arrive by mail in several days!

  14. I know there's already threads devoted to specific sports here but just see this as a thread to chat about sports in general and about what are your favorite sports and so on. For more series discussions about a specific sport please post in an existing thread about that sport or create a thread specifically for it.

Currently I don't play any actual sports (though I do play sport games ).

I LOVE bowling but its been two years since I last bowled . By this summer I'm going to take swimming classes as well join the closest wrestling club(the real stuff not WWE lol) .

I just recently joined a dojo and started taking weekly boxing classes there. Once I learn the fundamentals of boxing as well as save up enough money, I might take classes for the other stuff availible there such as jijitsu.

Also I'm gonna buy a pistol and take lessons on how to use it. This fall I'm gonna get a hunting license so I can finally start hunting for the first time in my life. I'm also gonna start fishing for the first time this summer.

    What sports you into? :D

  15. OH I #@$!ing LOVE LOVE Saint Seiya! Its the one fiction that is my favorite media franchise period. I watched the 1980s TV series back in early 2000s and fell in love with it but forgot about it when I went to high school(as well as other fictions I loved in childhood). I suddenly remembered it in December of 2011 and went on a full rewatch of the classic TV series and became more obsessed with Saint Seiya than I ever did as a child. To sum it up, I've become a DIEHARD FANATICof Saint Seiya.

Just at the start of this month I saw the entire manga in Japanese as well as watched all the movies. I've also started on the spin-off series Lost Canvas and Episode G and the canon sequel Next Dimension. I will be watching the anime-only sequel Omega once its subbed as well as purchasing the English volumes of Saint Seiya manga so I can finally actually read it. Currently I'm writing a Diablo-Saint Seiya fanfic as well as one fanfic with the Spongebob cast as the Gold Saints.

Anyone here familiar with this classic Shonen? :D

  16. Not sure if this is the right section to post this so please move it mods if it isn't!

Starting tonight at around 8-9 I'm gonna go on a Spongebob rewatch, starting with the first episode and all the way to the end of the first season (I only got the season 1 box set). As soon as I buy the later sets I'll continue on the rewatch until I view every episode availible on DVD or digital download.

Anyone interested can go start their own rewatch and join me on this thread to discuss rewatching the series. This is my very first rewatch of the series from start to end. :D
