  1. I'll be honest. At first, Are You Happy Now never really bothered me at first. I mean, it sorta did but not at the point where it'd become an episode worthy of being in my Bottom 10 (or Bottom 5, if I'm being less generous).

That all changes now. This is literally one of the worst episodes of the entire series. Maybe it was time that kinda soured my thoughts on this episode. Back when it aired, I simply wasn't feeling depressed enough to really loathe this episode as much. But ever since 2015, my seizure problems came back, got constantly worse over the years, and I couldn't even get up safe in the morning or function at night without worrying about getting another seizure that could also be the one that kills me. And knowing the fact that those problems prevent me from getting my driver's license until after 6 months along with the fact that I have to stay with my loud mouth, conservative parents really makes me extra depressed.

But I'll elaborate on that for another topic. Point is, my real life depression has made me hate this episode overtime. And just because the implications that Squidward was gonna commit suicide when it's actually something else was meant to be a joke doesn't make it funny. If anything, they're just plain morbid. Oh and the ending where Squidward chainsaws all of the fake SpongeBobs and gets enjoyment from it? Yeah, that's what I love to see: The most relatable and best character acting like a sadistic maniac. And to think that I actually enjoyed that ending back then.

And yet, besides all of those issues, I think the biggest one is the episode itself. Who would want to watch an episode about depression from a show like SpongeBob? It'd be like making an episode about rape or homicide (not like any Nick cartoon would tackle those two subjects, but I digress). SpongeBob is just not a down-to-earth show to tackle these kinds of subjects. It's a silly show based around silly plots with little to no continuity. I've had spiels towards plenty of recent episodes. Pat the Horse is pointless. The Nitwitting is horrendously stupid. Ink Lemonade is disgusting. But at the very least, I can say that those are problems I'd expect from SpongeBob. This episode just........broke me. Next time we do a Worst Episodes countdown, this will no doubt be in my Bottom 5 and probably dethrone Stuck in the Wringer as the absolute worst episode of the series.

    Here's the delayed premiere:

Episode 1: Puff is the New Black

Mrs. Puff is working hard time in Bikini Bottom Prison. She meets her cellmate, Don, who was originally named Donna, but she got a sex change operation and turned into a man.

"Hey, so what's for dinner tonight, Puff Mama. Chili?" Don says in a sexy voice.

"No, not chili. Our friend, Dr. Sex, is coming over for a visit." Mrs. Puff says.

"Not just any visit." says an unknown voice revealed to be Dr. Sex. "A sex visit."

Dr. Sex joins in and has a threesome with Mrs. Puff and Don and they get it on. Don decides to "puff" Mrs. Puff up as she, how you say, "blows the man down". They get it on faster than a hot rabbit on a jackrabbit or whatever Sandy's sayings are. Appropriately, the song "Do the Sponge" plays in the background even though there is no sponge to "do". And with that, Dr. Sex has finally completed another operation.

"Thank you so much, Dr. Sex!" Mrs. Puff exclaimed. "I never fucked that much ever since me and my deceased husband last had sex!"

Scene cutaways to someone turning on Mr. Puff. And I don't mean light-switches.

"Oh yeah, Mrs. Puff." Mr. Puff said.

Dr. Sex then realizes what Mrs. Puff needs to do. She needs to have sex with millions of guys. And she'll do it with the help of Dr. Sex.

    The end.

The rest of the series is pretty much this all over again but with different characters.

And I completely forgot about this.

  3. For the record, I will be doing something special for this topic after I'm done with posting my 2004 lists.

Yep, I'll be ranking every year-end chart from 2010 to 2014. May as well go back to those years and check out how good the good stuff is and how bad the bad stuff really is. And of course, I'll begin with the dreaded year of......

    2010

Okay, "dreaded" is probably a weird way of putting it but I'll be starting off with probably the most tepid year of them all. Coming soon.

  5. True story about "Sherry": I recall hearing that song play on one of my local stations in Florida about 9 or 10 years ago back when it it played easy listening music from the '60s (thank god it's just mostly '70s and '80s now). Back then, I thought it was the worst thing I've ever heard in my life. In other words, "Sherry" is one of the first songs I ever disliked and while I can think of even worse songs now, that song still holds a place in my heart as one of the worst songs I ever heard and I'm really glad I saw it on here along with "Speedy Gonzales" and "Ahab the Arab".

  6. I'm sorry but years later and I still have to say it.

Disliking something for being too popular (i.e. Uptown Funk) is a bullshit excuse. If you hate something from the start even before it was popular, fine by me. If you like something from the start but think it doesn't age well overtime, that also is fine. But if you say you like it from the start and then start hating it using its popularity as an excuse, then you seriously sound like a total hipster.

With all that being said, "Old Town Road" is fine but not as memorably great as "Uptown Funk" and it needs to go the hell away right now.
