    Charity event in Sacramento:

    In Sacramento, CA, Harv’s Car Wash & KMAX-TV’s (CBS/CW) “Good Day Sacramento” will be hosting a charity event for the Sacramento Mustard Seed School from 8AM-10AM. The ALPHA PHI National Sorority and the Dolphin Swim Team will be volunteering their washing skills and sending customers off with Spongebob Squarepants goodies and spotless car to drive into 2015 with! Proceeds will go directly to the Mustard Seed School in Sacramento.
    Soak up the happy with us TOMORROW NIGHT at Union Station Kansas City Inc. with a special showing of The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie from 2004! All guests will receive FREE popcorn and be able to write on our Board of Positivity! Seating begins at 5:30pm and movie starts at 6:30pm. Kansas City Chiefs Ambassador and former Linebacker Anthony Davis will co-host the event with Joel Nichols of Kansas City Live!

     

    To RSVP, please email KansasCity@43KIX.com with subject “SPONGEBOB.” Please include full name and number of guests who will be attending. Deadline for RSVPs is 3pm on January 5th.

    Best Monday ever? It is if you're SpongeBob

     

    Hands up if you think Jan. 5 is the worst Monday of the year — you know, the first one after the holidays.

     

    The folks behind SpongeBob SquarePants are looking to put a better spin on the depressing date, declaring it "The Day of Positivity." A companion music video, Thank Gosh It's Monday, premieres exclusively at usatoday.com and depicts the eternal optimist marking his calendar with a smiley face. "When life knocks you down and rubs dirt in your face, use the dirt to grow roses all over the place," he sings.

     

    Fans can participate in the celebration at DayofPositivity.com, where they're encouraged to upload and share positive selfies and receive a "positivity" message from SpongeBob.

     

    It's all part of the promotional push for the latest SpongeBob movie, Sponge Out of Water, which arrives in theaters Feb. 6.

    I'm going to say Party Pooper Pants.

     

    By the way, Patchy is kind of hit and miss for me. Sometimes, they can be funny. Sometimes, they are pointless. My favorite episode with him would have to be Christmas Who and my least favorite would have to be Truth or Square.
