I can understand the reasoning behind your first claim, but I just went back through various clips of the ending (and one full DVD rip of the episode) and all of them ended with the line "the secret formula i-".

Band Geeks ended with a freeze frame that faded to black. There was never a shot of Squidward landing.

Very good comparison.

Not gonna lie, the main reason why I prefer the older designs to the modern designs is because the colors weren't as bright. If the colors werent as glaring or harsh, I think I would mind them a lot less.

Krusty Krab Training Video is not only my favorite S3 episode, it's my favorite episode of the entire show. The jokes, the breaking down of the fourth wall, the overall unconventionalism - it's fantastic.
