Didn't really like it, just another poor excuse for a special. The advertisements went all over the place, and the actual episode was bland and boring. Going more in-depth, it's never explained why the goo is so dangerous. When the big bubble pops in the end, nothing bad happens minus Bikini Bottom being covered in goo. Whenever Plankton is involved in a plot, it usually ends up being the same cliche that we all know. Also, did the episode really have to be advertised as Spongebob vs. The Goo? Really? My faith in S9 is just getting lower and lower.
tl;dr I hate it.

This episode is kinda making me lose faith in Season 9. It's extremely boring and repetitive.
So, if you couldn't tell already, Spongebob gets fired from the Krusty Krab in this episode. Apparently, Mr. Krabs fires him because he'll save a nickel by cutting his salary entirely a.k.a firing him because not paying a salary is illegal. Seems like something Mr. Krabs would do. As you would expect, Spongebob begins crying about it all the way till he gets home. When Patrick hears him crying, he cries too. Wow, way to add to how annoying it already is. Spongebob lets him in, and tells him about how he was fired. Though Patrick thinks it's a good idea for him to be fired, and that he should enjoy being unemployed. Wonder how that turns out. Well, first they end up stepping on Squidward's plants. Squidward gets angry and-ugh... This episode is just plain boring and follows the routines we've seen a LOT. Let's just cut to the interesting chase. (which probably isn't actually going to be interesting.)
Spongebob decides to get a new job. First he goes to a hot-dog restaurant. Since Spongebob is so used to making Krabby Patties, he ends up turning the hot dogs into them. He then gets fired. Next he goes to a pizza restaurant and, surprisingly enough, turns the pizzas into Krabby Patties. Cycle repeats, cycle repeats, and then Spongebob just faces facts. Glad that's over. Spongebob decides to feed Gary, but since he has no snail food he makes his own, and for once it doesn't turn into a Krabby Patty. As soon as that charade is over, it turns out that the people he tried to work for actually find out the customers like his work. They all try to get him to work again...and speaking of which when has this happened before?
Yeah they're copying way too much stuff in this episode. Eventually some guy in a Krabby Patty costume takes Spongebob to the Krusty Krab where it turns out to be Squidward! Wow, what a twist! Not. Mr. Krabs and Squidward wanted Spongebob back so he gets rehired. End of story.
This episode is so boring it could make someone snore. Alas, it's only number 20 on this list. There are far worse to come.

I agree with people on how they could add some interesting twists or unusual plots. That could make S10 really good.

Even though I don't really gonna play it anymore, I sure am gonna miss it. I remember all the good times, getting my first membership, playing all those fun games, going to parties, ToonTown will surely be missed. -
